So, I watched Hit & Run and Silent Night a couple of days ago.

First, Hit & Run was surprisingly really great. When I saw the trailer, I expected this to be a full on comedy with Bradley Cooper as the main star (HE SHOULD BE, DAMMIT!! HE'S BRADLEY COOPER!!) but it was more of a hybrid between action, a bit of drama and some comedy as well. Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell (my future wife) were the main characters. I'm not finna put a synopsis because that's what IMDb is for. I thoroughly enjoyed it though. I've always liked Dax from seeing Employee of the Month. I'm sure some have liked him since maybe Without A Paddle (not sure what else he's in). Highly recommended. Oh and it has some sexy cars as well. A nice little chase scene. All that good stuff.

Now, Silent Night was the shiznit! I haven't seen the original Silent Night, Deadly Night. Not sure if the remake is the exact same as the original but I really don't care because this movie is what a slasher these days should be. Focuses on the kills. Decent story but sometimes, some people don't go into a slasher looking for an excellent story. This did it's job. Killed people. I had so much fun watching this. Kind of reminded me of a mix between Christmas Evil and Laid To Rest. I say Laid To Rest because the kills were phenomenal and that was really the main focus of the movie. Great, great stuff. Again, highly recommended.

Could do, thinking about watching Sleepless in Seattle again.

Why would you ever need to watch that movie more than once?

I just watched Pixar's Brave and thought it was probably their weakest effort to date. Still decent, but nowhere near as good as some of their gems.

My opinion of your movie tastes have gone down dramatically.

Dude, its a romantic comedy. I can't think of a single one of those movies that needs to be seen more than once. Oh and for the record, I certainly think its a good movie and Hanks/Ryan's chemistry is awesome, but yeah, once is more than enough.

I don't mind them from time to time but after once you just need to run away

I need to watch this eventually. I love Kristen Bell and it's cool to see her and her real life husband do a movie together.

Checked out the Red Dawn remake earlier, decent enough. Quite a few things changed.

^Got to Hit and Run after. The coolest thing about it was just that you could tell it was basically Dax Shepard baby. It felt like he just got his wife and friends together and made a movie. The film might not be anything too special though. The movie I watched that really impressed me was Hitchcock. Damn all these great movies coming out at the very end of the year! Hopkins and Mirren were both outstanding! Hopkins was literally the perfect Alfred Hitchcock, and speaking of perfect for their role, James D'Arcy looked remarkably like Perkins! Great film.

I love Tarantino and I love westerns. It's probably my favorite of his since Pulp.

It's maybe my third or fourth favorite.

Did you see what Spike Lee said about it? Something like, Slavery wasn't a Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western it was a Holocaust. Spike hates Tarantino.

Spike hasn't made a good movie in how long? He just wants to stay relevant. It's a fucking movie you asshole. Jamie Foxx doesn't have an issue neither should Spike.

Spike just made one recently that I hadn't heard of until recently so you're probably right about him saying it to stay relevant.

Why did no one tell me "The Grey" was depressing as hell?
