So, I watched Hit & Run and Silent Night a couple of days ago.
First, Hit & Run was surprisingly really great. When I saw the trailer, I expected this to be a full on comedy with Bradley Cooper as the main star (HE SHOULD BE, DAMMIT!! HE'S BRADLEY COOPER!!) but it was more of a hybrid between action, a bit of drama and some comedy as well. Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell (my future wife) were the main characters. I'm not finna put a synopsis because that's what IMDb is for. I thoroughly enjoyed it though. I've always liked Dax from seeing Employee of the Month. I'm sure some have liked him since maybe Without A Paddle (not sure what else he's in). Highly recommended. Oh and it has some sexy cars as well. A nice little chase scene. All that good stuff.
Now, Silent Night was the shiznit! I haven't seen the original Silent Night, Deadly Night. Not sure if the remake is the exact same as the original but I really don't care because this movie is what a slasher these days should be. Focuses on the kills. Decent story but sometimes, some people don't go into a slasher looking for an excellent story. This did it's job. Killed people. I had so much fun watching this. Kind of reminded me of a mix between Christmas Evil and Laid To Rest. I say Laid To Rest because the kills were phenomenal and that was really the main focus of the movie. Great, great stuff. Again, highly recommended.
