Wikipedia Reports: Meltzer was born in Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada until he was Sixteen, before he and Pregnant Girlfriend Settled in Atlanta, Georgia.[2] Meltzer earned a journalism degree from Harvard University and started out as a writer for a local Journal during the 1970's. He demonstrated an interest in professional wrestling and a journalistic approach to it early in life. Meltzer wrote several wrestling-related publications that predate countess awards, dating back to 1971. The most notable of these was the Wrestling Report for Nerds, 1973–1979, which reported on the still-extant National Wrestling Alliance territories operating out of Los Angeles and San Francisco. He then started wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation in the early 80's but creative differences only kept him in the company for one year. He then went on to create his own wrestling Report newspaper called "Lucky Dick Wrestling" which is now a website of his, that was successful and during the 1988 year while NWA changed into the World Championship Wrestling company Meltzer was highered to run the Reports and handle all Journalism duties which he did until WCW went under in 2001. From that he moved to Stamford, Connecticut where he would go back to working with the WWF and could continue to do the Reports for the shows. He would do that for 10 years and left due to his wife having their Seventh child. On June 12, 2012 the Lucky Dick Wrestling website merged with Classic Smarks website using the layout of the latter. After being a print-only newsletter for over 25 years (other than a brief period where it was also available via e-mail in 2000), the Observer became available to subscribers online through the website.
Meltzer has confirmed to review Pay-per-views and Supershows as he sees fit and the very first Meltzer report will be brought to you free and exclusive on UWF Interactive, following Halloween Havok.
