Re: UWF Power 25 - 14th of October, 2012

Don't get to comfy with letting NXT's resident trio off the list! Great list once again Aniking. Lots and lots of detail. We now have three quality interactive features going on for this fed. Expect Dean Ambrose to crack the top 10 again soon.

Re: UWF Power 25 - 14th of October, 2012

ahh this is something I've always wanted to do, but I'm not too good at deciding the ranks so I never pulled the trigger in trying. I applaud you sir in the great detail you put into this as it's not just a ranking it's an actual evaluation of sorts for people. Sitting atop at number one is an honor, and being shortly following myself at 5 is good because I want to try and keep those two guys as close to each other as possible lulz. Great job aniking

Heh... I've beat him before ;)

Let me remind you "sir" that you quote unquote "defeated" me in an atrocious, and deplorable no disqualification match. Which only furthers prove that even the greatest miscreant can accomplish something when the rules, or lack thereof, are to their favor. However in a structured environment you and Jeffrey will learn that Your Enlightened Saviors are simply untouchable, and once you've been thought that lesson perhaps both of you will drop your ignorant ways and join my word and assist me in saving not only the..."people" in the stands but everyone else beneath me on this very list...You're Welcome.

Heh all that means is that you need rules to exploit but when it comes to raw skill... you can't make it past the Edge. Haha... name pun.

Wait until the new and improved Appletini sipping Daniels makes his eventual return. Things will definitely heat up. ;)

Didn't make it for the second time in a row. No Sheamus and no RVD in Power 25. Should do something about that, I should get noticed again. :p

Otherwise I completely agree with this Power 25, I would probably move Chase's Mysterio higher the ranks, 'cause he's the number one contender and won a difficult match on SmackDown, but that's just my opinion.

Gotta make it to this "leaderboards" next time.

Re: UWF Power 25 - 14th of October, 2012

No live for Rhino I see how it is. Lol nah, good shit as usual.

If you won your match, you'd probably be on the list. Thing is you didn't and got taken out by Sting as well, so yeah, definitely no love but for good reason.

The rankings can be a tad troubling to do as I have to decide on how far to drop and raise some guys. I don't wanna drop anyone too far down if they showed up or raise them too high up. I won't hesitate in dropping somebody fairly lower for no-showing, so let that be a warning to everyone. No match and haven't been asked for a promo? Fuck it, send one in anyway!

Can't be any love for Sheamus as he lost. Van Dam was close to making the "Watch Out For" list due to saving Ziggler, but the loss killed it. Just gotta get some wins together and you'll be right.

Being a number one contender does ZERO for these rankings. You can be number one contender, lose two matches, and slide off the rankings. Chase's Mysterio just made the list last week due to some losses, yet he rose this week due to winning and sending in a promo. If you notice, only Show rose more spots than Mysterio, so compared to the rest Mysterio rose fairly well.

Thanks for the comments and likes guys, I really appreciate it. It's hard work having to write all this each week so the props keeps me going :)

Sandows scared of Hardy one on one. Fact.

Bully may drop next week due to my no show, but sometimes you gotta shift down the gears to get the top speeds! Rey has 1 and 5..... so a tandem low of 6 is the number to beat...... Challenge accepted ;)

Re: UWF Power 25 - Weekly Rankings

Power 25 #3 is up!

I know what you're all thinking - it's a little hard to read and isn't presented very well. This is me we're talking about, I'm a fucking perfectionist and a neat freak, so believe me when I say I'm not happy with how it looks in the slightest. I'll work on changing the presentation when an idea pops into my head, but the basics are there for you all. Apologies and enjoy!

The LUCKY UWF Meltzer Report

UWF EXCLUSIVE

UWF have signed a lucrative contract with one of the most respected men in professional wrestling, Dick Deacan Meltzer Jr.

LUCKY Meltzer
Dave_display_image.jpg

Born: Dick Deacan Meltzer Jr
November 2, 1955
Valley of Fire State Park, Navada
Occupation : Author, journalist, pro wrestling historian, pro wrestling historian, pro wrestling historian, encyclopedia of wrestling
Nationality: American
Education: East High School located in Salt Lake City, Utah & Harvard University
Subjects: Professional wrestling
Notable work(s): Lucky Dick Wrestling, WWF/E.com, WCW Reports Weekly, Wrestling Report Newsletter, WrestlingSmarks, The Wrestle Club, Wrestling Club Forum & Pro Wrestling Matters. Tributes: What happen to wrestling,
Spouse(s): Betty-Louise "Ann" Meltzer
Children: Three son, Four daughter.

Wikipedia Reports: Meltzer was born in Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada until he was Sixteen, before he and Pregnant Girlfriend Settled in Atlanta, Georgia.[2] Meltzer earned a journalism degree from Harvard University and started out as a writer for a local Journal during the 1970's. He demonstrated an interest in professional wrestling and a journalistic approach to it early in life. Meltzer wrote several wrestling-related publications that predate countess awards, dating back to 1971. The most notable of these was the Wrestling Report for Nerds, 1973–1979, which reported on the still-extant National Wrestling Alliance territories operating out of Los Angeles and San Francisco. He then started wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation in the early 80's but creative differences only kept him in the company for one year. He then went on to create his own wrestling Report newspaper called "Lucky Dick Wrestling" which is now a website of his, that was successful and during the 1988 year while NWA changed into the World Championship Wrestling company Meltzer was highered to run the Reports and handle all Journalism duties which he did until WCW went under in 2001. From that he moved to Stamford, Connecticut where he would go back to working with the WWF and could continue to do the Reports for the shows. He would do that for 10 years and left due to his wife having their Seventh child. On June 12, 2012 the Lucky Dick Wrestling website merged with Classic Smarks website using the layout of the latter. After being a print-only newsletter for over 25 years (other than a brief period where it was also available via e-mail in 2000), the Observer became available to subscribers online through the website.

Meltzer has confirmed to review Pay-per-views and Supershows as he sees fit and the very first Meltzer report will be brought to you free and exclusive on UWF Interactive, following Halloween Havok.
