I think the Orton hate has gotten extremely old. It started about the time Orton and Triple H had that awful WrestleMania 25 main event.

Since then Orton has gotten a lot better in the ring. In 2011 had some of the better matches of the year that didn't feature CM Punk.

This year alone Orton has many, many MOTYC with Daniel Bryan. Currently his return to Evolution has proven to be highly entertaining as well.

Now not to knock Orton what I think bothers everyone is how Orton just seems to be a robot and continues to do the same things over and over with no expression what made him great as the Viper was how he wanted things and had emotion. He now is an emotionless android.



Now I do see how he has done well in the ring but there is no fire in his eyes he just seems to be there.

You can't have a MOTYC with yourself. DB isn't having them with Batista or Cena. Orton also has great matches many other superstars.

I think if anyone is going through the motions, it's the guy getting paid to promote his movie, Batista.

I simply disagree with you. I'll once again point out he couldn't make great matches that those with Batista or Kane or whoever.

Orton had MOTYC matches in 2011, and it was definitely not Christian carrying him then, too. I would go so far as to say he was the worker of the year in 2011.

Orton is supposed to be robotic, that's his gimmick. He takes people apart with Ron Garvin stomps and takes them out with calculated precision.

He tried the emiotional good guy thing in 2012 and everyone hated on him for it and his matches suffered as well. At this point he'll be hated regardless.

Orton doesn't need to sway his detractors anymore, he'll just go onto have a WrestleMania main event that everyone loves.

He'll just know he entertained the fans even if they won't acknowledge it.

I watch the PPV's and a lot of the matches and, sorry to say, I think Orton isn't all that good. I don't think he sucks, but he's not "one of the most entertaining wrestlers in the WWE" either.

I rarely mention John Cena anymore and even praised him on his match with Bray Wyatt. Even if I did Cena hasn't done one thing to change the things people hate about him since 2006.

I don't know what it would take to please you guys but I guess putting on continual great matches and having one of the best WrestleMania main events in history isn't enough.

I really enjoy Orton's promos and his gimmick as a whole.

Don't get me wrong, I much preferred Legend Killer Orton but I still think he is very entertaining, despite all of the hate he receives.
