If you guys thought that Garrett Bischoff and Brad Maddox were bad....Danny Davis was the first ref turned wrestler and boy did he fucking stink. He was so bad that after awhile they made him a ref again...with no explanation they just wanted us to forget he ever wrestled.

To be fair, I'm thinking they made him a ref again because they didn't know what to do with him rather than Davis just sucking. It seems like bad pre-planning to me. The WWE knew they wanted to have some wrestlers finally get to the change to avenge all of Davis' cheating, but that's it. That has a very limited shelf life unless you find something new for Davis.

Not really. They just used him as a comedy wrestler. It's not like somebody they invested in to be a legit superstar

He was pushed pretty huge as a heel superstar (commentator or wrestler) and he beat Jerry Lawler at Wrestlemania. He can be included.

can we just talk about the most recent additions and move on sheesh..

Man Mountain Rock was a terrible gimmick and just piss poor in the ring

Warlord to me was one of the biggest stiffs ever...he was huge but had no skills, no charisma and after Powers of Pain broke up that outfit he wore was just ridiculous...Barbarian was a far superior wrestler imo

can't say as I ever saw a Ted Arcidi match but I imagine they weren't very good

Spirit Squad had some great wrestlers in it...including the IWC's darling Mr Ziggler...so I can't really see putting them in here

Matt Striker was pretty bad hence why he has been regulated down to announcer over the last few years

Adam Bomb wouldn't light the world on fire with his abilities but I can't really say that I ever found him to be terrible

Most of the Spirit Squad wrestlers are good and the gimmick was fun for a while.

They are now but they sucked then. The group it self while entertaining was a joke. I couldn't stand them now and wanted them off of my tv then and don't want to see them now

The problem with the Spirit Squad was the booking more than the quality of the wrestlers.

The Warlord was good enough in Powers of Pain, but really failed to light up the world as a singles wrestler. His match against The British Bulldog at This Tuesday in Texas was fairly decent. Once again, I think booking played a part in Warlord being a disappointment. Here you had a guy that seemed poised for a big time feud against Warrior or Hogan, but they kept him in that never ending feud against Bulldog and killed time by doing non-feud related programs.

Yes I agree with that. The booking made them so bad I couldn't stand them and really who in that group other than ziggler is doing anything?

I don't remember man mountain rock for some reason but seeing that picture does no justice at all.

Warlord was just a big guy with attitude. He needed a manager to do things because he was horrible on the Mic.

How did I forget Ted Arcidi? Man Mountain Rock was a good call, he was just brutal.

Gotta' agree with HF on the Warlord booking being the major part of the issue. Although I can't imagine his matches with Hogan or Warrior being anything incredible, I'm sure they would have been passable for the time.
