The celeb one is always treated differently and they aren't compared to the wrestlers in there. The only people that compare them are the IWC. Once you get over it, you'll be with the rest of the World.

Unlike Drew Carrey, I have no issue with Tyson being in the HOF. His presence in 98 was actually meaningful, and was an extremely underrated catalyst for WWE's rebound in the ratings war.

I think it's too soon for Edge to be inducted into the HOF but it would have happened sooner or later, I suppose.

Don't get me started on Edge.

Seriously... there should at least be a 5-year waiting period for anyone to get inducted into the HOF. Even though this particular "Mind of Vince McMahon" HOF is highly flawed, they could at least try to feign some prestige into it.

And I know the only reason WWE doesn't do this is because they try to make the fans forget about everything as soon as possible in literally everything they do, and they want to induct people like Edge at a time their inductions will still turn heads.

God forbid Edge walk out for his acceptance speech to same silence he did for much of his career.

They need a big name to make people interested.

What? If Edge and Four Horsemen ale not big enough for you don't know who is. Vince McMahon? C'moon man.

I also think that Edge should be inducted a little bit later. I wanted him to be inducted when Toronto'll host WrestleMania.

I don't know why everybody has their panties in a bunch over this. I do agree that they shouldn't have celebs in the HoF, but the celebs are in a different category. You can't compare Shawn Michaels side by side with Drew Carry. That's why the WWE has the Hall of Fame for wrestling talent, and the Celebrity Hall of Fame for celebrities.

I have no issue with Mike Tyson being in the WWE HOF and I don't mind celebrities in general being in there. As others have said it is a seperate wing to the wrestlers and WWE go out of their way to say that they are celebrity inductees. The celebrities are there to get WWE more exposure and more media attention leading into WrestleMania. Mike Tyson was part of a huge storyline and helped WWE win the ratings war so he should be in there.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Ron Simmons, aka Farooq, will be revealed as the next inductee into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame. The announcement is expected to take place on Raw tonight.

* Steve Austin inducting Mike Tyson

* The Rock inducting the late Yokozuna

* JBL inducting Ron Simmons

* Alberto Del Rio inducting uncle Mil Mascaras

* Christian inducting Edge

* Triple H and Shawn Michaels inducting The Four Horsemen

If that list is true then it is a fantastic list of inductees for this year. A lot more big names than usual and I like the wrestlers chosen to induct those listed because there are actual links between them and the inductees. Should be a really good event but I wonder how WWE will edit it for the NBC special since normally they only show three maybe four speeches.
