WRESTLEMANIA 36 NIGHT ONE RECAP
WrestleMania 36 Night One kicked off with the fourteen man over the top rope battle royal to crown a new NXT North American Champion. Austin Theory, Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Dexter Lumis, Damian Priest, Dominick Dijak, Finn Balor, Isaiah Swerve Scott, Johnny Gargano, Kushida, Killian Dain, Lio Rush, Roderick Strong, Shane Thorne and Tommaso Ciampa participated in the match. In the end though it came down to Finn Balor and Kushida and it would be the latter who was crowned the new NXT NA Champion.

Next the WWE SD Tag Team Championship Ladder Match took place. It concluded with John Morrison unhooking the titles to not only retain the titles but to win the match.

Then the NXT Championship match between Adam Cole(c) and Keith Lee took place. We would see a title change here as the challenger aka Lee was able to put the champion down for the count with the Spirit Bomb.

After that the WWE United States Championship was up for grabs as Ricochet(c) attempted to defend the title against the man he beat to claim it Andrade. In the end the “One & Only” aka Ricochet was able to retain his title thanks to the 630 Splash.

In the penultimate match of the night the WWE SD Women’s Championship was on the line in a fatal five way elimination match. The defending champion aka Bayley(c) made it two the final two of the match, the other woman? None other than her friendenemy Sasha Banks, which saw Bayley get the win by way of Belly to Bayley.

Finally the show closed out with Seth Rollins(c) versus Edge for the WWE Universal Championship. As can be expected given the talents of both champion and challenger this was one hell of a main event. When it was all said and done we would have a “Rated R” WWE Universal Champion as Edge hit back to back Spears for the win.

WRESTLEMANIA 36 NIGHT TWO RECAP
WrestleMania 36 Night Two kicked off with a fatal four way tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Which saw the Broserweights(c) successfully defend their titles against Breezango, Grizzled Young Veterans and Undisputed Era. They did this by Pete Dunne hitting the Bitter End on Zack Gibson for the win.

Next the NXT Women’s Championship match between Rhea Ripley(c) and Charlotte Flair took place. Which saw Ripley score a massive upset victory as she pinned her opponent with the Riptide.

Then the Street Profits(c) put their WWE RAW Tag Team Championship on the line against the newly formed Fade to Murphy made up of Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy. We saw the first title change of the night as Black was able to pin Angelo Dawkins following the Black Mass.

After that the WWE Intercontinental Championship fatal five way match. It featured Sami Zayn(c), Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro and Sheamus. It was a high paced affair and concluded with a chaotic series of finishers which culminated with Sheamus hitting a Brogue Kick on Cesaro to win the match.

In the penultimate match of the night a one on one match for the WWE Championship, which saw champion aka Dolph Ziggler(c) and challenger aka Kofi Kingston(c) tear the house down for around twenty minutes. In the end Ziggler was able to dodge an attempted Trouble in Paradise from Kingston then proceeded to drag him up and hit a Zig-Zag for the win

. The night closed out with the WWE RAW Women’s Championship match. Between the reigning and defending champion Becky Lynch(c) and the challenger the “Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler. This match was also historic because it marked the first time a woman had main evented back to back WrestleMaina’s although it didn’t end well for Lynch. As she would find herself trapped in the Kirifuda Clutch and had no choice but to submit.
