WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER 2020
The 2020 edition of WWE Elimination Chamber ppv kicked off with the match for the WWE United States Championship. Between the reigning and defending champion Andrade(c) who had his manager Zelina Vega in his corner and the “One & Only” Ricochet. It concluded with a new champion being crowned as Ricochet got the win following a successful Recoil.
Next the fatal four way match between Shinsuke Nakamura(c), Braun Strowman, Cesaro and Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship took place. It lasted around fifteen minutes and each of the four men involved in the match had their respective time to show what they brought to the match. It ended with the second title change of the night as Zayn hit a Helluva Kick on Nakamura for the pin.
In the third match of the night, a six tag team, elimination chamber match for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. The current champions, John Morrison and the Miz(c) defended against New Day, The Uso’s, Lucha House Party, The Revival and Heavy Machinery. In the end it came down to Miz & Morrison and the Uso’s which saw Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Jey Uso for the win.
After that the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship match between the Street Profits(c) and the Modern Day Vikings happened. Which saw Montez Ford pinned Erik Rowe with a Frog Splash for the retention.
The fifth match of the night was the no disqualification match for the WWE Universal Championship. The reigning and defending champion aka Seth Rollins attempted and succeeded in retaining his title against the “Samoan Submission Machine” aka Samoa Joe. He did this by putting Joe’s head on a set up steel chair and hitting a Curb Stomp.
Next the WWE Championship was on the line as Kofi Kingston(c) defended against Dolph Ziggler. In the end it would be the latter aka Dolph Ziggler who got the win after hitting a Zig-Zag.
Finally the show closed out with the WWE RAW Women’s Championship elimination chamber match. The Kabuki Warriors teamed up and eliminated both Natalya Neidhart and Ruby Riot. Then Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair eliminated Kairi Sane and Asuka respectively. In the end Lynch hit the Manhandle Slam on Flair for the win.
