NXT TAKEOVER: IN YOUR HOUSE 2020
NXT TakeOver: In Your House kicked off with a two on one handicap match between NXT newcomer Karrion Kross and the tag team of Tyler Breeze and Fandango aka Breezango. Kross dominated and destroyed both men and put an end to things with a brutal strike to the back of the head of Breeze.

Next the NXT United Kingdom & NXT Tag Team Championships were on the line in a six man tag team match. As the defending champions Imperium(c) faced off with the Undisputed Era represented by Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. It concluded with Walter pinning Bobby Fish with a folding Powerbomb.

In the third match of the event the NXT North American Championship was up for grabs as Finn Balor(c) attempted to defend against Kushida. In the end the challenger forced the champion to submit to the Hoverboard Lock to win the match and title.
After that the penultimate match of the night which was for the NXT Championship happened and it was contested under no disqualification rules. Which saw the current champion aka Keith Lee(c) retain his title against Adam Cole after pinning him with a Spirit Bomb through a table.
Finally the event closed out with a six pack elimination match for the NXT Women’s Championship. It featured Rhea Ripley(c), Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Io Shirai, Mia Yim and Tegan Nox. When it was all said and done and the dust had settled, we had a new champion in the form of Io Shirai who pinned Ripley with a Moonsault to win the match.

ROAD TO WWE BACKLASH 2020


WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
EDGE(C) VS KEVIN OWENS
The first match announced for WWE Backlash 2020 was a one on one match for the WWE Universal Championship. Between the defending champion the “Rated R Superstar” Edge and the “Prize Fighter” and Mr MITB Kevin Owens. This match came about as a result of Owens confronting Edge on an episode of Monday Night RAW and announced that he would cash in his contract at Backlash.



WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
ROBERT ROODE(C) VS AJ STYLES
The second match announced for the event was “Glorious” Bobby Roode(c) versus the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. This match came about after Roode captured the gold at Money in the Bank by defeating then champion Dolph Ziggler. After Roode managed to defeat Ziggler in a rematch on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown he would be confronted by Styles who challenged him and he accepted.​

The third match announced for the event was a single’s match for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. Between the reigning and defending champion Shayna Baszler(c) and the challenger Ruby Riot.

The fourth match announced for WWE Backlash 2020 was a regular men’s division tag team match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. The current champions Buddy Murphy & Aleister Black(c) versus the newly formed Los Ingobernables De Entertainment aka Andrade & Angel Garza.



WWE SD WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP - STEEL CAGE
SASHA BANKS(C) VS BAYLEY
The fifth match announced for the event was a one on one steel cage match. It would be for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship, between Sasha Banks(c) and Bayley. This match came about after Banks won the Women’s MITB Ladder Match and then cashed in on the same night to beat Bayley for the title.​

The sixth match announced for WWE Backlash 2020 was a match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Between the reigning and defending champion Sheamus(c) and the challenger Chad Gable. This match came about after Gable was able to beat Sheamus in a non-title match.

The seventh match announced for the event was a tag team match for the WWE SD Tag Team Championship. Between the champions Lucha House Party(c) and the challengers Heavy Machinery.

The eighth and final match announced for the WWE US Championship, a triple threat match. Between Ricochet(c) and the two challengers, the “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins. ​

WWE BACKLASH 2020
WWE Backlash 2020 began with the triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship. Between the defending champion the “One and Only” Ricochet(c) and the two challengers Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins. In the end it would be Rollins who picked up the win and the title after he hit the Curb Stomp on Ricochet.

Next the Lucha House Party(c) put their WWE SD Tag Team Championship on the line against Heavy Machinery. In the end Kalisto hit Salida Del Sol on Tucker for the win and the retention.

In the third match of the night Chad Gable went one on one with Sheamus(c) and defeated him by way of submission to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

After that the Fade to Murphy(c) faced off with Los Ingobernables with the former's WWE RAW Tag Team Championship on the line. In the end Buddy Murphy grabbed Angel Garza and hit Murphy’s Law for the win.

The fifth match of the event saw Shayna Baszler(c) defeat Ruby Riot by way of the Kirifuda Clutch to retain the WWE RAW Women’s Championship.
Next Robert Roode(c) and AJ Styles squared off with each other with the WWE Championship up for grabs. In the end the latter aka Styles got the win thanks to the Phenomenal Forearm.

The penultimate match of the night was for the WWE Universal Championship. Between the “Rated R Superstar” Edge(c) and the “Prize Fighter” Kevin Owens. It culminated with the latter getting the win after countering an attempted Spear into a Stunner.

Finally the show closed out with the WWE SD Women’s Championship steel cage match. Which saw Sasha Banks(c) retain her title against Bayley by escaping the cage

The third match announced for the event was a one on one men’s division match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Between the defending champion Chad Gable(c) who defeated the then champion Sheamus at Backlash to capture the title, and the challenger Daniel Bryan.

This match came about after Gable successfully retained the title against Sheamus in a rematch for the gold and Bryan came out and challenged Gable who accepted. ​

The fourth match announced for the event was a two on one handicap match for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. Between the reigning and defending champion Shayna Baszler(c) and the Iconics made up of Peyton Royce & Billie Kay. The match came about after both Royce and Kay beat Baszler in non-title matches and Baszler said she would take on both of them.

WWE GREAT AMERICAN BASH 2020
WWE Great American Bash 2020 began with a men’s division fatal four way match to crown a number one contender to the WWE Championship. It featured the quartet of Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Jeff Hardy and Kofi Kingston. It concluded with Jeff Hardy hitting a Swanton Bomb on Strowman only for Wyatt to drag Hardy up and hitting Sister Abigail which led to the pin.

Next Drew McIntyre faced off with both Andrade and Bobby Lashley to determine a number one contender to the WWE Universal Championship. Which saw the “Scottish Psychopath aka McIntyre pin Andrade with a Claymore.

In the third match of the event saw the WWE SD Tag Team Championship up for grabs. When the Lucha House Party(c) attempted to defend against the New Day and the Uso’s. In the end Jey Uso pinned Gran Metalik with a Superkick for the win.

After that duo of Erik & Ivar aka Modern Day Vikings captured the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship from Fade to Murphy(c). They isolated Buddy Murphy and hit a Two Man Powerbomb with Erik getting the pinfall.

Naomi and Sasha Banks(c) squared off for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. Despite Banks attempting to cheat her way to a retention she would eventually find herself trapped in the Feel the Glow and she tapped out.

Next both the WWE Universal and WWE United States Championships were on the line as Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins(c) teamed up to defend against the team of former champions Edge & Ricochet. It concluded when Rollins pinned Edge following the Curb Stomp.

Reigning WWE RAW Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler(c), made quick work of both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. She trapped Royce in the Kirifuda Clutch and the latter had no choice but to submit.

In the penultimate match, Chad Gable(c) versus Daniel Bryan for the formers WWE Intercontinental Championship took centre stage. In a rare case in the history of the company it ended in a time limit draw.

The show closed out with AJ Styles(c) versus Shinsuke Nakamura in one on one action for the WWE Championship. It concluded with Bray Wyatt coming out and attacking both men and leaving with the title.
