WWF European Championship: Al Snow vs. Christian
This was set up on Sunday Night Heat because Christian was being the dick heel he was and making fun of the fans, Snow too offense to this and challenged him. A pretty solid opener the near-fall at the end made this a lot better than it should have been. **1/4

Team Alliance questions Austin about the end of SD when he and Vince smiled at watch other, so Austin yells at them to stop being so paranoid and to get out.

Vince McMahon is with Linda McMahon who is nervous about the stakes tonight and fears someone could get hurt. A nervous Michael Cole comes up and asks him about the possibility of the WWF ending tonight. McMahon cools his fears by saying “Shit happens†and alludes that someone on the Alliance team is in fact a WWF plant to end the Alliance. But William Regal is here and he says he's not buying Vince's hogwash that Stone Cold is turning on the Alliance. Regal says he knows Austin is loyal to them and that he'll do to Tajiri what Austin is going to do to the fed. Vince says “Shit happensâ€

William Regal vs. Tajiri
For 3 minutes this was pretty great for a squash match, but it was also very stiff and Regal’s nose is busted open early on. The finish was pretty great as Tajiri reverses a Double Armed Powerbomb into a Japanese Armdrag. Regal ducks a Deathblow kick. Then Headbutt to the midsection of Tajiri. Tajiri avoids another Double Underhook Powerbomb, but Regal counters Tajiri into the Butterfly Regal Bomb for three. Post-Match: Regal hits another butterfly bomb. Tori comes out to check on Tajiri so Regal butterfly bombs her as well. **

Test gets oiled up and hits on Stacy Keibler. And she didn't seem to mind, UGH!

Championship Unification Match: WCW U.S. Champion Edge vs. WWF Intercontinental Champion Test
This was shockingly good they just seemed to click here. They packed a lot of action into it; and I really enjoyed some nice near falls off an Edge-O-Matic and a spear and Pumphandle slam by Test. The closing moments were really good and they definitely bumped the grade up. **3/4

In the back, Stephanie complains to Kurt that if they lose, she'll have to become a regular person and do her own grocery shopping. Kurt says that won't happen, and he believes Austin is on the side of the Alliance. Elsewhere, Lita asks Jeff Hardy what the deal is with Matt Hardy because he's been acting funny. Matt comes out of the locker room and explains he's just stressed about the whole "being out of a job" thing. Lita accepts that explanation until Trish Stratus comes out of the same locker room. WHAT?

Championship Unification Match inside a Steel Cage: WCW Tag Team Champions the Dudley Boyz (w/Stacy Keibler) vs. WWF Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz
The match was pretty good but it's was nothing we haven’t seen a million times before, and was pretty dull when the Dudleyz were on offense. The finish was cool as Matt climbs out of the cage which leaves Jeff alone in a 2-on-1 with Bubba and Devon he somehow gets some offense in (I should add that there is a table in the ring because Stacy flashed her ass toward the “GREAT†Nick Patrick then she stole the key to the cage out his pocket, lol) Anyway yeah as Jeff is climbing the cage he knocks Devon onto the table and Jeff being Jeff decides not to escape and thus win the match, electing instead to try a Swanton off the top of a cage onto the table, But Devon moves and Bubba covers for the 3 count. Jeff’s SCREW UP! This would up breaking the Hardyz up (briefly) as Matt went heel despite Jeff being the selfish one. But I think they ended up reuniting because Taker would kill these kids on a weekly basis and then BROCK! Would do the same thing, but don't worry Matt fans V1'ah would happen. *** - ***1/4

Commissioner Foley is at WWF New York, He says as much as he wants to be in Greensburo, he was ordered here by Vince, he then says the commissionership is a joke. He then says if the WWF wins, he'll be in Charlotte, North Carolina tomorrow to talk to Vince.

Scotty 2 Hotty is running stairs. Test asks him if he's in the Immunity Battle Royale. Scotty says yeah, so Test takes him out and decides to takes his place in the Battle Royal; I wonder who is winning the Battle Royal then 8D

Immunity Battle Royal
The winner of this gets immunity from being fired for a year despite either The Alliance or WWF going under. I really don't feel like listing everyone but you can imagine it's full of mid/lower card and jobbers. As you know I don't really rate Rumbles/Battle Royals as they basically have no structure, storytelling, psychology and it's just a bunch of guys holding the other on the ropes, only maybe 3 rumble/battle royal matches has ever had those things I listed 1. 2004 Rumble, 2. 1992, 3. 2001 Rumble and the final 4 of the 2007 Rumble. Anyway that's for another time this match had no meaningful interactions in the whole thing, so this barely even registers, but as a way of trying to maintain Test's push and position on the card.

Booker T tells Shane McMahon that he doesn’t trust Steve Austin. Shane tells him not worry and they must work as a team if they want to win.

The Creed "MY SCARFICE" Video airs :mark:

Six Pack Challenge for the "Vacant" WWF Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Jacqueline vs. Lita vs. Ivory vs. Mighty Molly Holly vs. Jazz
Trish's hot pink booty shorts, DAMN! This is Jazz’s debut in the WWF. Jesus this match was sloppy; I'm surprised they gave the belt to Trish as she was so green at this point but bless her heart she tried so hard, and thankfully she grew and developed into a hell of a wrestler as the years would go by. Jazz was pretty AWESOME in this and the booking helped her looked strong. 3/4*

Vince gives Team WWF an amazing pep talk He has every confidence in them but he realizes he could be looking at a group of losers. If so, there isn’t one WWF fan that would forgive them; they will also be disgraced. Vince goes through all of the greats and says that they would be also disgraced. He tells them to disregard the rumors that Steve Austin will rejoin the WWF. He says that they honor the WWF tonight.

Another AMAZING video package airs before the main event.

Classic Survivor Series Match: Team WWF (The Rock, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Kane & The Big Show) vs. The Alliance (Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Rob Van Dam & Shane McMahon)
Austin is the WWF Champion, RVD is the Hardcore Champion and the Rock is the WCW Champion, so I guess because they are champions their jobs are safe. I think? IDK! The first 5/7 minutes were cool and then we get to the Show and Simba eliminations which were hilarious. Show gets a hot tag an starts tearing shit up until Kurt hits the Olympic Slam, Booker T tags and hits the axe kick (plus Spin-a-Roonie), RVD hits a Five-Star Frogsplash and Shane FINALLY gets in after breaking up pins non-stop in the first 10 minutes, and hits the Flying Elbow to eliminate Show. Simba starts dancing like a BOSS and he finally stops when he realizes he's in the ring with The Rock, Rocky kicks the ever loving shit out of Shane in the corner and tags in Kane who chokeslams him. Kane then tags in his brother and he gives Shane, who is dead, the Tombstone… now Shane’s kids are dead as well; Jericho tags in and shows mercy by pinning him after a Lionsault. Shane McMahon is ELIMINATED. AWESOME! Anyway things begin to settle down then Booker interferes from the apron so Kane drags him into the ring. RVD uses the distraction to hit a side kick and the Five-Star Frogsplash; he takes a moment too long to recover before going for the pinfall and Kane goozles him. Booker T comes out of nowhere with a spin kick, everyone runs in for a huge brawl, and in the confusion RVD mounts the buckles and ELIMINATES Kane after a leaping side kick. Then like 2 minutes later it Taker hits closelines in the corner to all four Alliance members. Snake Eyes and then Closeline to Angle. Taker calls for the Last Ride. Last Ride connects, but Booker comes in the ring with a chair. The distraction allows Austin to hit the Stunner on Taker. Austin drags Angle onto Taker eliminating him. Which leaves Chris Jericho & The Rock vs. Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, RVD & Booker T. Alliance members have a good heat segment on The Rock before explodes with a DDT forcing Angle to make the save. Y2J is still hurting in the WWF corner; Booker tries the axe kick but the Rock counters into a Samoan drop and this time Austin makes the save. Booker gets a whip reversed and crashes into Angle on the apron; the Rock schoolboys the befuddled Booker and gets a three to ELIMINATE him. RVD gets in the match and Jericho tagged in. Jericho hits a running swinging neckbreaker and then chops in the corner. He spikes RVD with a bulldog but misses the Lionsault; he lands on his feet thought but takes a spin kick. Van Dam hits the split-legged; which allows Jericho to hit him with the Breakdown and ELIMINATES RVD. Now we're down to Steve Austin & Kurt Angel vs. Chris Jericho & The Rock. Angle pairs off with Jericho as Stone Cold and the Rock fight on the floor. Austin posts the Rock on the floor via slingshot and back in the ring. Moments later Austin tries to run interference but Rock smacks him in the face he then hits Angel with the Dragon Screws Kurt into the Sharpshooter Kurt tap and he's ELIMINATED. Jericho goes to Lionsault Austin but he gets the knees up! Austin tries another top-rope superplex again but Jericho pushes him off and hits a missile dropkick for a nearfall. Jericho tries a schoolboy, which is reversed by Austin, and Chris Jericho is ELIMINATED. Now down to ROCK vs. AUSTIN! but Jericho is so frustrated that he was eliminated that he nails the Rock with the Breakdown before he takes his leave, because he is an egomaniac and hates the Rock. HEEL TURN! Anyway they do some entertaining bawling until Austin gets a low blow in and tries a Stunner but the Rock reverses and hits a Rock Stunner! WWF referee Earl Hebner makes the count but Alliance referee Nick Patrick pulls him out and nails him. The Rock notices Patrick in the ring and looks to Rock Bottom him. Austin saves and hits a Rock Bottom… but it gets two! Austin glares at Patrick and question his count so Austin nails him and drags Hebner back in. The Rock tosses Austin into Hebner and tries Rock Bottom but Austin reverses into a Stunner! No referee. Kurt Angle runs back down and… NAILS AUSTIN WITH THE WWF BELT! The Rock plants him with Rock Bottom and the referee crawls to the pinfall and the Rock gets three. Post-match, the WWF locker room celebrates and the Alliance locker room is in SHOCK! Jim Ross rubs it into Heyman on commentary as the Rock celebrates. Vince McMahon comes out and celebrates on the ramp. ****1/2

sseries1g.gif

Overall: 6/10

The next night, most things would go back to where they were before the WCW/ECW invasion. Vince would turn heel and fire Foley. William Regal would join the Kiss My Ass club and be reinstated. Heyman was out. Lawler was back in. Austin was the rebel babyface again. Angle turned was turned heel for helping the WWF for being a mole. So I guess Jericho being in full BLOWN HEEL! is the only thing that changed? Man the Invasion story was a mess. But at least Flair was the GM. WOOOOOOOOO!

Christian & Test vs. Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert
Albert had nothing better to do after X-Factor dissolved, so they put him with Scotty as, get this, "the Hip Hop Hippo." gimmick. A pretty solid enough opener to the show, most of it was just quick tag team action from both tag teams. Not much to say about this match at all but it was really fun to watch and Scotty and Albert got the win here when Scotty performed the worm onto test to take him outside the ring and albert performed the baldo bomb on Christian for the 3 count. I think the wrong team won as both Christian and Test were both high profile Alliance members and won the Intercontinental Title. Scotty and Albert were pretty much afterthoughts and Heat performers during the year, but for some reason got the victory here. **1/2

Backstage, Jonathan Coachman gets a word with William Regal, who is fired up about challenging Edge for the Intercontinental Championship tonight.

WWF Intercontinental Championship: Edge vs. William Regal
Pretty good match and served well in their roles of Regal being the aggressive side whilst Edge being perfect at this time as the resilient protagonist, it worked very well. There was a lot of technical wrestling with Regal and he took control the most part of this match. Edge ends up fighting back and there is a lot of back and forth between these two men. Eventually Regal tries to use the brass knuckles but Edge hits the spear out of nowhere to retain his title. The match also did a good thing of continuing the “brass knucks” storyline where Regal doesn’t have the knucks on him, but hides them somewhere around the ring. **3/4

Kurt Angle confronts Ric Flair, laying out all the things he’s going to accomplish tonight. Flair simply agrees with it all, which annoys Angle. Elsewhere, Matt Hardy tells special referee Lita that tonight is a big night for him. Lita promises only to call it down the middle.

Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy with Special Referee: Lita
During this time around Matt was really disappointed in Jeff's decisions in matches because at Survivor Series Jeff cost the both of them (Matt and Jeff) to lose the tag team titles to the Dudley Boys. Over the weeks the two got into arguments leading to Lita being dragged into the feud. Matt thought Lita was taking Jeff's side instead of his so he made Lita the referee in this match. Matt would try to work on Jeff's leg about mid-way in the match so Jeff wouldn't be able to pull off any of his high flying Hardy offense. But the work was forgotten towards the end, without a decisive finish nothing was resolved from this. It wasn't bad as a match itself despite an awkward moment or two just failed to deliver the story they set up, the spots that were high risk though. The finish with Jeff hitting the The Swanton for the but Matt had his foot on the ropes, but Lita missed it. **1/2

Trish Stratus walks in on the Rock and gives him a good luck kiss. He has to go because he has a match. After he's done, though, he'll let her know what the Rock is cookin'.

WWF Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz (w/Stacy Keibler) vs. The Big Show & Kane
Not much to write about here the match had some double team action from the Dudleyz especially on Kane. The match ended when Big Show accidentally knocks Kane off the apron because of Stacy Kiebler and the Dudleyz hit the 3D on Big Show. **3/4

ace40Dc1.gif
aboDYmXs.gif

Lita tries to talk to Matt Hardy, but he walks away from her.

WWF Hardcore Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. The Undertaker
This match was awesome and probably one of the best of the night. During this story line Undertaker turned heel and demanded more respect from all the superstars. He eventually got to RVD and challenged RVD for his hardcore title. Heading into this match Undertaker got some cheers although he was the heel. This match, like the last, was short, but unlike the last, I felt like it could have gone on another 5 minutes before it ended. These two were just beating the shit out of each other through frustration, but it didn't feel like a needless weapon fest. In fact, the only real weapon didn't come in to play until the ending stretch. The match came to an end when RVD tried a Van Dominator but Undertaker chokeslams RVD on some tables off the entrance for the win and the title. ***1/2 - ***3/4

Jericho tells Flair about how nobody believes he'll be Undisputed Champion. Flair keeps saying that if he can pull it off, more power to him. Jericho demands Flair introduce him on Raw when he wins the title, and Flair says that tomorrow, he will honor whoever wins tonight.

WWF Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Jacqueline
Both girls tried but I really wasn't into it and it seemed a bit too rushed. *1/2

adhBVntc.gif

Rikishi is at WWF New York and he say he's happy to be back and they show footage of Rock forcing Vince's head right up Rikishi's ASS.

WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle
This was weak IDK what happen here but Austin wasn't into it at all. They kept starting shit like Austin working the arm, Angle working the neck, Angle working the leg, but they all got abandoned and no-sold immediately. The finish happens when Angle then tried for some suplexes and did his signature three German suplexes but this didn't put Austin down. Austin eventually took back control once more with a spine buster and his own German suplexes mocking Angle. Angle tried hitting Austin in the groin and an Angle slam but only for a two count. Austin ended up getting the win with a Stone Cold Stunner. **3/4

Test breaks into Trish Stratus' locker room and tells her he's going to make her night by kissing her and, oh by the way, if she tries to get him fired, she'll find he has immunity. Trish tosses him anyway.

World Heavyweight Championship: The Rock vs. Chris Jericho
It was on par with the previous Rock/Jericho rematch from RAW but not on the level of No Mercy. This was a great match and they do have great chemistry with each other as opponents, it had great pacing from the beginning to the end it was either excitement or the building towards excitement, every move mattered which is a Jericho a trade mark by now. The interference wasn't even necessary, as Jericho had already shown he was resourceful enough to beat the Rock on his own. ANYWAY! The ending happen as Rock knocks McMahon off the apron and hits Jericho with a spinebuster. McMahon interferes again and gets thrown into the ring, and when the referee is distracted Jericho hits a low blow and then the Jericho Bottom for the 3. And step one is complete. ***1/2 - ***3/4

Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Before the match got under way, Angle would come out and hit Austin with a chair and the Rock would Rock Bottom Jericho. The match would then start and these two had a pretty good match up as well. They put on a good showing on the outside just beating on each other out there. This had ref bumps and the run-ins and the screwjobs all in the space of 10 minutes. Austin was almost crippled and Jericho just finished wrestling a match so neither man was considered fresh going into the ring. JERICHO WIN! JERICHO WINS! **1/2

Disc One

The documentary is extremely well put together, I dare say is NOW! The 2nd best DVD doc' WWE has ever done. (Jericho use to hold that title) Austin’s is still first. The doc’ is 2 hour long documentary It also fills in viewers a lot more as to how he views his own career, with some of his own highs and lows not necessarily being what fans may first think of. The doc' starts from Childhood when he believe it or not was very athletic and very into sports, we get to hear a couple of good stories the most hilarious one being how he use to eat worm while in goal for la cross to scare the other kids on the other team, Mick was 12 at the time. The doc' then moves onto him becoming a Huge Fan, with the infamous story of him hitchhiking to MSG where he saw Sunka leap off the cage. Which was the point that changes his life and made him say "THAT'S WHAT I WANNA DO, I WANT TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL THE WAY I DO NOW" to Training School in which we get rare footage of him and Shane Douglas training with Dominic DeNucci, hell we even get a few words from Douglas himself, HOLY SHIT! Next we would get the first time he worked WCW in the early 90's in which if you think guys like Dolph and Generico are phenomenal bumpers go watch some of Foley's 90's stuff when he's just trying to make a name for himself, shit is insane.

Next we would get the 2 memorable feuds first being with Sting in which Foley gave his body to a slightly stale Sting to get him back into that elite status as a main eventer. Then we move on the VADER feud in which it gets 10 full minutes to talk about how physical and brutal and violent every one of those matches are, the best part of this chapter is Harley telling Foley if he doesn't hit Vader with the shovel he's going to come back and hit him with it :lmao, Foley using Vader to try and get into retirement :lmao and VADER WAS THE ONE WHO RIPPED FOLEY'S EAR OFF :mark: YES! the ropes was the one that did the initial damage but in the clip we see it’s was a Vade punch that makes the ear fall. We next move on to his time on ECW and Japan which doesn't really get talked about much the mainly use this time to show his phenomenal MIC skill and how brutal the Terry Funk matches are. Now the doc' moves onto his WWF/E career and how the creation of Mankind comes about, I’m not going to speak on it mainly cause I'm assuming everyone know how it came about, or if you don't I don't want to ruin it for you. Mick then goes onto to briefly speak on the feud "Mind Games" match with Michaels and what that did for Michaels on putting him over to the WWF fans of never seeing this side of him before, now the Taker feud which doesn't get much air time but they do speak in great length about the "FAMOUS" Hell In A Cell match which is another thing that I don't think i need to talk about cause you've prob read and seen about a million times.

Next up is the birth of "Mr. Socko" and Foley talks on how Al Snow was the one that actually came up with the idea to bring a sock puppet to Vince while he's in a hospital cause let’s face it everyone hates them. Foley then goes on to say he thought it was going to be a onetime thing until he got to Raw the next week and Russo ran up to him and asked if he had the sock cause the crowd had "Socko" signs. We then get a brief couple of words on how the Vince/Foley relationship was on TV. Before getting to the double switch at Survivor Series 1998 when the did the "Screwjob" finish which made Rock a hell and into the corporate champion while this allowed Mankind to be a babyface. And then we you get highlights of the 4/5 month feud these two had with both guys speaking on how 1.) Rock thanked Foley for putting his body on the line for Rock and how Foley used this to show Rock's aggressive side to get him ready for the WM match against Austin. 2). how they would use this chemistry they obviously have to form the Rock & Sock connection and while they don't have any great tag matches with each other they always delivered on the entertainment. Next chapter is really nice as Foley talks about his first book and that he wrote the whole thing (700+ pages) and didn't want a ghost writer, we even got a to hear about where Foley would write the book and he would always read pages to the boys in the back.

Foley would go on to mention that during this time he was forgetting a lot of things due to all the concussions he had go Vince politely told him "it's time to hang, the boots up" and Foley was about to but then Austin's neck injury happen and Foley said hey I’m willing to help out until we figure out what to do with Austin being out, this would ultimately lead to the Triple H feud, we then would get highlights of the MSG street fight and then the HIAC match :mark: before Foley saying his he would of stopped it would of been the perfect ending but Vince really wanted him to do WM 16 and Foley tried to fight it, and fight it but in the end gave in and now he wished he just would never of done it, and that it was a mistake. Up next is the Commissioner chapter, I'm not going to talk a lot about this cause it's one of those thing that has too many hilarious highlights but Foley says he had a blast doing it and I had a blast watching it too especially the E&C, Foley stuff.

We then move on to the post Commissioner Foley which is from around 2001-2003 when he left the company due to difference but found a way back with the HHH/Nash Badd Blood match then the Orton feud :mark: he says he was never happy with his performance at WMXX so he made sure he showed up for the Backlash one, Foley then says that, that Backlash match is his favorite match of all time. He just wishes he could have hung the boots up there, but once again he couldn't. We then get a brief couple of minutes and Foley talks about how he wanted to get Joe and Punk into the WWE and then all the charity work. Finally we move to the 2006 Edge WM match which is still a violent masterpiece. And finally the doc' ends with what he's doing now like the Stand Up Comedy and how much he spends and loves his family, sure his body hurts everyday but he knew that was the risk when he started jumping off the ring apron onto concrete. Overall AMAZING STUFF! even though they left a few things out. I recommend this for everyone wrestling fans, part-timers hell even to NON-Wrestling fans all should watch this.

Superstars September 1986 - Jack Foley & Les Thornton vs. The British Bulldogs
This was a total squash for the Bulldogs, as this was Foley's first ever WWF match. The pretty much beat the shit out of him well dynamite kid did. He straight headbutted Foley, head to head while he was selling on the mat. And dynamite also dislocated Foley's jaw after a nasty clothesline. 1/2*

AWA All Star Wrestling October 1988 - Cactus Jack & Gary Young vs. Scott Steiner & Billy Travis
This looked and a totally squash for Steiner & Billy Travis, the pretty much controlled the entire match just beating up on Jack, I think he only got a powerslam in and a tag. Anyway the match ended when Gary hit Steiner in the head with a shoe/boot and Jack was able to pin him lol. Best part was during the pin Travis was pulling Jack's hair to try and break up the pin lol. 3/4*

Wild West Wrestling April 1989 - Cactus Jack Manson vs. Brickhouse Brown
This was 10 minutes of AWFULNESS Jack was still in "rookie" mode here so his offense and heat segment wasn't as good as it would be a few years later. I don't know what's Brown excuses is cause the announcers talked him up about having the experience edge but everything he did her was too over the top and awful, his punches look way off and his comeback to end the 10 minute time limit draw is atrocious. Jack was in pretty respectable shape here. *1/2

Power Hour March 1990 - Cactus Jack vs. Keith Hart
This was a CACTUS SQUASH :mark: as he was the that was beating the shit out of Hart here. Jack offense was brutal and epic, the best part was when Hart was selling on the match but Jack picked his head up from the mat then just slapped the shit out of him then gave Kevin Sullivan. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Another great moment in the match was Jack's running of the ring apron over the steel guardrails and onto Hart with the elbow. The he ended it with a school boy small package. lol. **1/2

Power Hour November 1991 - Submit or Surrender Match: Cactus Jack vs. Sting
This was good but not on the level of some of their other matches. This was basally more of Jack taking insane punishment to make Sting look like a million bucks. He took a nasty back suplex on the out on top of a plastic trash can. One great moment in the match was Jack having a tug of war with a fan at ringside because he didn't want Jack to hit Sting with the chair. But that was nothing compared to the ending when Sting dropkicked Jack was on the ring apron and Jack being Jack had to take a nasty bump hit his head of the steel railing then on the concrete, Sting would come down and put Jack who is out cold in the scorpion death lock for the win. *** - ***1/4

Clash of the Champions XVIII 21st January, 1992 - Falls Count Anywhere Match: Cactus Jack vs. Van Hammer
Jack pretty much carried this and made this watchable, the hip toss off the ramp and onto the concrete was sick, the match ends when Abdul the bitch accidently hits Hammer in the back with a shovel. Post-Match: Abdul tried to drown Jack but he says fuck this and dumps Missy Hyatt the water instead. **1/2

Ft. Lauderdale, FL May 1995 - No Ropes Barbed Wire Match: Cactus Jack vs. Sandman
This had its moments like when Sandman's groin getting caught in the bottom with and then Jack pulled his legs towards him to apply more pressure was great, the front suplex that rips the wire cords off the ring posts was sick. But seeing how this is a Sandman match it did have it's hilarious unplanned moments like when Jack was selling on the outside Sandman just leaped over the wire and Jack was nowhere near him so he just landed on the floor. Jack then just completely forgot about the ribs and just started hitting him with the kendo stick :lmao Then things begin the settle down and become good but the Sandman does that leap again but thankfully Jack is in the right place this time and Sandman whacks him with the kendo on his way down. Then as Sandman is about to hit Jack again with the kendo Jack punches him and he falls back first into the wire onto the floor but lands on his feet :lmao. And as he's selling on the floor a fan pushes Sandman and he almost hits the wire :lmao. ANY THIS GETS SICKER BUT THE SECOND! Oh but my favorite part was Sandman wrapping himself in the barbed wire but Jack counters with stiff forearms then back into the ring Jack tries carefully to take Sandman's t-shirt that is wrapped but the wire off his head but he can't so Jack says "FUCK-IT" and kicks him the head.

CyberSlam February 1996 - Cactus Jack vs. Shane Douglas
This match is just weeks prior to the in ring debut of "Mankind" in the WWF. This was the final chapter in Cactus' anti-hardcore angle, as Shane returned from the WWF to find Jack had signed there, and was now determined to make him change his mind by beating the hardcore back into him. Before the match Jack cuts this promo saying the reason he's not in wrestling gear tonight is because he had to go to a wedding before the show and he didn't think he was going to make it in time, but he did. He would then go on to say he can't wrestle tonight because he's had a few drinks tonight and Sandman may come out and give the fans a shitty drunk match Jack would like to think he has a bit more class than that. He then would say he's happy to refund the fans money cause let’s be honest they all paid to see him. Douglas would then come out and attack him from behind, and the match is ON! The match was solid hey got the point of the match over well. This match just proves that Foley can put a good match on with just about anyone. Foley really did a good job of adding some drama in the match; he also took some really brutal chair shots at the end, which you would later see in the Royal Rumble "I QUIT" match. ***

In Your House "Cold Day in Hell" - Mankind vs. Rocky Maivia
This would be the end of the "Rocky Maivia" run. The crowd is clearly still not sold on Rocky so they would boo everything or just stay dead while he was doing anything here. They did some solid Back and forth stuff that included, Mankind doing a nice somersault off the apron onto Rocky. And Mankind taking the Rock Bottom on the metal rampway and that gets a decent pop. Thankfully this would lead to Rocky taking time off then returning to turn heel and joining the Nation. I have NO idea why this made it on the DVD. **

WWF In Your House "Canadian Stampede" - Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Chyna) vs. Mankind
Before I get to the match I just want to say Foley and Triple H had great chemistry in the ring. This is a rematch from King of the Ring where HHH went over Mick to win the crown, turning him face in the process. Triple H and Mankind beating the piss out of each other! This was just a great, relentless brawl with tons of hard hitting action. This was just a teaser of what we got in 2000. Right from the start, Mankind came out guns blazing and ensured the match turned into the rough fight that he would want. HHH had to rely on some desperate knee work, cheating from Chyna, and a debilitating figure four leg which made him look like that cowardly heel. I even didn't mind the double count-out ending cause it would lead to more matches and I’m all for more HHH/Foley matches. The whole match felt like an old school brawl. ***3/4 the fact that this is in the range of 4 stars and is only the second best Opening match of 1997 is crazy. Oh the rematch these two would have at Summerslam is the best opener that is a solid 4 stars.

RAW 17th November, 1997 - Dude Love vs. Rocky Maivia
This was 4 minutes of nothing here, Rocky is part of the Nation here and has not clicked in the ring like he would in '98-'99 and Dude Love was Dude Love so this is a meh! and another match that really shouldn't be on the DVD *1/2

King of the Ring 28th June, 1998 - Hell in a Cell: Mankind vs. Undertaker
Following the advice of Terry Funk, Mick decides to start the match on top of the cell, which proved to be a bad move on his part. Taker follows him up and they slug it out on the roof to start, and Mankind uses a chair to pound Taker down. The roof nearly gives way early as they fight to the other side of the cage, but it’s the famous moment as Taker tosses Mick off the cell and AS GOD IS MY WITNESS, HE’S BROKEN IN HALF! They raise the cage as if the match is over and wheel Mick out on the stretcher, but he’s crazier than THAT. So he fights off the medics and climbs back up the cage again to continue, at which point Undertaker chokeslams him onto the roof, through the cage, and to the mat below where he hits a chair on the way down. Mick credits that bump with doing the majority of the damage, and in fact it knocked him out and necessitated Terry Funk stepping in and stalling Taker until he came back to the land of living again. So Taker chokeslams Funk, giving Mick the chance to remember what to do next. SHIT THAT WAS JUST THE FIRST 5 minutes. Anyway Mankind manages to reverse the ropewalk and smile at the camera, giving us the iconic image of the tooth sticking out of his nose. He somehow manages to put Taker on the floor and he tries for the stairs, but his arm is gone and he can’t carry them. Taker uses them instead and smashes them into Mick’s head, apparently not having sufficiently made his point yet. He tries to follow with the suicide dive, but he misses and hits the cage, drawing blood. Back in, Mick then piledrives Taker on the chair for two finally recovered enough to make his own comeback. Legdrop on the chair gets two. Double-arm DDT and he retrieves a bag of thumbtacks from under the ring, back before it became a silly TNA cliché. Mick tries to knock him into them, but Taker catches him with a tombstone attempt, which Mick reverses to the Mandible Claw. Taker fights out of it and drops Mick on the tacks, and of course Mick rolls in them for effect. And Taker hits an additional chokeslam in them, and then puts Mick out of his misery with the tombstone.

RAW 13th July, 1998 - WWE Tag Team Championship Match: New Age Outlaws vs. Kane and Mankind
The Undertaker comes down to watch the match, okay stuff here as this was 2/3 weeks after the HIAC match so Mankind should not of been wrestling at all. It had its moments. It was fast paced with some decent wrestling. But it got repetitive. **1/2

WWF In Your House "Rock Bottom" - WWE Championship Match: Mankind vs. The Rock
Man this was trash, they really didn't get going until the final 3 minutes but then they ruined it with one of the most ridiculous finishes ever as Mr. Socko/MANDIBLE CLAW! On The Rock as he fades and passes out, giving Mick his first title win, but you see, the Rock never said "I Quit," meaning he didn't really submit. Oh best moment of the match was Rock doing commentary during the match and still beating up Mankind :lmao. Seriously though! Whose ideas was it to put these 3 Rock matches on the DVD, Was the LMS match not available? *1/2 - *3/4

SmackDown 2nd September, 1999 - WWE Tag Team Championship: Mankind & The Rock vs. Triple H & Shane McMahon
Young Simba getting DVD time :mark: Mankind took most of the beating, until he began to beat the shit out of Shane on the floor in revenge. Billy Gunn ran down, and hit Triple H with the Fame-asser, and Rocky hit the Rock Bottom/People's Elbow to retain the tag titles. **1/4

SmackDown 16th December, 1999 - Mankind vs. Al Snow
This was really good for an Al Snow match, Mankind's bumping in this made Snow look credible. They had some nice weapon spots and good brawling that happen backstage. The finish happens when Al pulls them both into the DX locker room. Al then falls out and Mankind covers to win. lol. Post-Match: we see the Rock come out with a chair and Mankind gives him the thumbs up and Rock takes the name plate off the door and it shows it was actually The Rock’s dressing room. **3/4

No Way Out 27th February, 2000 - Retirement Match inside a Hell In A Cell: Cactus Jack vs. Triple H
That’s the first retirement match where when i first ever watched it LIVE I can honestly say that I had absolutely no idea who was winning until the moment the ref counted three. But much of the impact was undone when Foley was unretired just a few weeks later and placed back in the Mania main event by Linda McMahon. This has so many little things that make it great like the brilliance of this match is the sub-plot of Foley warning Hunter that he plans on diving off of the cell on top of him. Also Foley's "never stay down" aspect doesn't feel like any selling, but rather playing into the other story of the match. If Foley loses, his dream of main eventing Wrestlemania dies, as does his WWE career. I also love that they worked in some of Foley's most memorable moments like the drop onto the announce table sure it wasn't KOTR '98 bad but still he went back first onto the announce table and then the spot when he gets back backdropped through the top of the cage and breaks the ring, HOLY SHIT! The fitting is so poetic to as Hunter kicks his hand to see if he's still alive, and Foley starts moving to which the crowd pops HUGE and Hunter ends his dream with a pedigree. ****1/4

Promos

WCW World Championship Wrestling 5th October, 1991 - Sting's Birthday Cake: This was a hilarious mess and Abdul the butcher goes into a big box and bring out a cake he then starts eating the cake not with his hand but with a Sting action figure, while Cactus is singing happy birthday at the end of every line he would say "BANG, BANG"

WCW Saturday Night 10th September, 1994 - No Ear Surgery: Cactus first begins the promo in German than he switches it to English and he goes full blown epic on Sullivan about his ear and then he hypes up the match at fall brawl.

RAW 5th April, 2004 - Barbie: This is quite possible the best promo and most underrated promo I have ever seen, my words cannot do this justice. WATCH IT!

SmackDown 1st August, 2008 - Cutting Edge: This is another pretty underrated promo, with Edge here and Edge was getting ready for his Cell match against Taker and he needed some advice on how to beat Taker so why not go to the man how had quite possible the SICKEST Cell match with Taker but Foley. Foley then cut this amazing promo saying that this FIND THAT EDGE! The Edge that made TLC means something. Where’s the Edge that smelt his own flesh burning and loved it. They had the greatest Hardcore match in WrestleMania history, and he needs to find that Edge. If he does, he and JR will call the greatest and innovative, violent match in WWE history. Edge then answers back with "I UNDERSTAND!" and attacks Foley; this would lead to the 3 week "Heath Ledger's JOKER" from the Movie the dark night. Anyway Edge would end up jumping off the top of a ladder with chair in hand crashing through Foley who is lying on a table. GOOD SHIT!

RAW 24th September, 2012 - Relevancy with CM Punk: Really good back and forth stuff here as if goes to show Foley doesn't need to be wrestling every week, and why he really needs to be on TV regularly he can still cut promos better than 100% of the rooster and it's not even close he can be funny then turn it a full 360 and have a hell of a serious promo and make the guy he's cutting the promo on look great.

Stories

Frank Foley: Foley tells a story that how unpopular he was with the ladies and on one night in college, and one night after he took his date to a wrestling show after the show Foley walked the date home and he said he had a nice time and she said she had a nice time too "FRANK" :lmao there is a bit more to the story. We also get a short movie about it, HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Snowed In: Shane Douglas tells a story on the first time he meet Mick and how Mick was snowed into his car.

DeNucci Training School: This is a mini doc' on the DeNucci Training school Mick did for a class he was taking.

Arrested in Italy?: Shane Douglas tells a story about how he and Foley went to a guy one day and because they were the first match on the card, they wanted to catch some attention at the gym so they staged a fight at the gym. lol. Shane then told him that 20 cops are out for him because he broke some stuff. So back in the states Foley ribbed him and the preparation took weeks.

Cactus Jack - The Name: Foley talks about how the name came about, I’m not going to ruin it for you if you don't know it but it's pretty cool.

Africa: Foley talks about this trip he took fresh out of school to a country that had no idea what wrestling was. Some hilarious stuff is also discussed here.

Birth of Bang Bang: Foley talks about the first time he used the "BANG! BANG!" line and when he used it.

Losing Teeth: A story is shared when Foley was driving to a friend’s house and was involved in a car crash and how he through losing his teeth was the worst thing that could happen until his wife then said don't use the FAKE teeth cause he looks "SEXY" without them.

On the Spot: Heyman tells a story that Foley doesn't even know about when Foley sang the song "Sweet Home Alabama" this was the first time WCW really took notice of him.

Wanted T-Shirt: Foley talks about how the EPIC "WANTED" t-shirt came about. And how popular it was.

Smoking Flight?: Foley tells a story about the final "DEATHMATCH" he had against Funk in front of 30k people. Foley talks about how he needed 42 stiches after the match. And all the other injuries he received.

Anti-Hardcore ECW: Heyman, Foley and Joey talk about the anit-hardcore gimmick and even mentioned the "CANE DEWEY" sign. Cactus Jack ECW Promo (Cane Dewey) - YouTube

Farewell in ECW: Foley and Heyman talking about his last match and final promo when he was leaving ECW.

Vicious Suplex: Regal talks about the sport then Paul Orndorff delivered quite possible the sickest Vicious Suplex on a guardrail ever.

Kevin Sullivan - Mentor: Foley talks about how Sullivan is one of the best minds. They even show footage of the hilarious angle of the teacher/student gimmick. The later how they became tag partners.

Rock `n Sock Jacket: Foley talks about he gave the "Rock `n Sock" Jacket to a kid who really didn't have that long to live but every time the kid found out he was going to a WWE show he would be so full of life, later on the kid would go on to die and Foley lets us know that the parents buried him with the jacket in.

Disneyland: Hunter tells a story that during WM 16 all Foley cared about that instead of wanting to have a classic match all he wanted to do was go to Disneyland with his kids. Hunter even talks about the hilarious spot when he fucks up the elbow spot on the announce table.

Loogie Heard `Round the World: Foley and Orton talk about how the feud came about. GOOD SHIT! I love how Foley came up with the whole thing.

Commentator: Foley talks about how he got into the commentator role back in 2008. YES! He seriously was underappreciated during that role. He took the role really serious and he would also talk to guys and do research, unlike LAWLER! Foley and Cole also talk about how you cannot take what Vince say personally when he critics what you. Foley also discusses why he left.

Mr. Socko vs. The Cobra: Rumble highlight.

Comedy Show: Highlights of Foley's stand up gig. WE ALSO GET FOLEY MAKING FUN OF TIM TEBOW~!

Favorite Mick Foley Persona: Superstars talk about how AMAZING it is that Foley could have 3 completely different gimmicks and Superstars talk about which one was his favorite.

Sheamus Meets Mick: Sheamus talks about his first trail run before he got signed when he first ever met Foley.

Christmas Cheer: Foley talks about how much he loves Christmas and how the Christmas book came about.

Wardrobe: Superstars, family and friends make fun of Foley's Wardrobe.

Thrifty Mick: Superstars talk about how cheap Foley was, Vader tells one of Foley wanted to sleep on Vader’s hotel floor because he didn't want to pay for a room for the night. Triple H then tells a story how Foley would sleep in the hotel lobby sofa instead of paying for a room. Heyman then tells this AWESOME story on how he and Rick Rude say's "isn't that Mick Foley" who is in the smallest rental car cause it was cheaper than spending money on a hotel room for 5 hours before the flight. Lastly Triple H tells the story on how Foley didn't want to take the flight and he would rather bank the ticket and use it on a later date, and he would prefer to drive 600 miles to the next show and to top it off Foley only brought one bag of popcorn to last him that 600 miles.

Great Dad: Road Dogg talks about how amazing of a father Foley is and what he does for his kids.

Overall: I really do wanna give this a 10 but the matches really let it down, if they would of kept the doc' and the promo/stories and added the matches from his "greatest hits and misses" DVD this would be the best DVD of all time.

I had no intention of buying that DVD as I have everything else of his and didn't think I'd want to spend the cash, you have changed my mind. The Doc while mostly stuff I already know sounds pretty amazing.

Disc One

In Your House 1 (14th May, 1995) - Bret Hart vs. Hakushi
Really good match that once they got past the awkward first few minutes, this became great both men were at their best, bumping their asses off. And I was pretty surprised that Hakushi was in control for 3/4 of the match, until Bret makes a comeback at the end. But I guess its part of the storytelling that Hakushi was studying all of Bret's moves so he had a counter for it. Their RAW match which I think is the next night on Raw and is on the (Dungeon Collection DVD) is better. ***

In Your House 2 "The Lumberjacks" (23rd July, 1995) - WWF Intercontinental Championship: Jeff Jarrett vs. Shawn Michaels
This is quite the under-appreciated match and its hands down Jarrett's best match, EVER! I can't think of anything that even touches this. Man you gotta love Shawn when he's in full on BUMPING LIKE A MAD MAN! He was doing it in this match and it was making Jarrett look like a main eventer. Another thing that made this so good was how well the blend of the old-school southern by Jarrett and the fast paced, high flying by Michaels meshed so well together, and the Shenanigans with The Roadie at ringside was hilarious too. ****

In Your House 4 "Great White North" (22nd October, 1995) - WWF Intercontinental Championship: Dean Douglas vs. Razor Ramon
Shawn Michaels forfeited the championship to Douglas due to being attacked days earlier :hm: more like he didn’t' want to do the job or maybe it was because he was too busy getting his ass beat outside of a nightclub. This was also Razor's second match of the night. Well this was bad, really bad Razor basically beat him up for 11 minutes and only allowed Dean to get a few punches and maybe a kick in, the finish happens when Ramon reverses a whip into the corner and hits a back suplex; Razor drapes his arm across Douglas’ chest and gets a three despite the Dean’s ENTIRE leg under the ropes. Post-match, Jerry Lawler convinces the other commentators that, Douglas got screwed via referee “error†citing video replay evidence. *

In Your House 5 "Season's Beatings" (17th December, 1995) Arkansas Hog Pen Match: Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Henry Godwinn
Triple H really did start from the bottom, he pretty much bumped his ass off Godwin's shitty offense and one point during the match he does the corner flips bump, which sends him to the floor. He takes a bump against the wooden pen and cuts open his back. This is pretty nasty considering he ends up rolling in pig shit after the match. No idea why this is on the DVD, I guess WWE had to have a Triple H match on and didn't want to use any of his against Foley. *1/2

In Your House 5 "Season's Beatings" (17th December, 1995) WWF Heavyweight Championship: Bret Hart vs. The British Bulldog (w/Jim Cornette & Diana Hart)
YES! This match still rules, As we all know, these two have great chemistry and have put together some great matches. This one is no exception. The blood really adds a lot to the match and makes it come across as even more of a fight for the gold, wish Bret desperately wanting to get the win back. And maybe in some words makes this almost better than the SSlam match. The only thing holding this back was the finish is a bit out of nowhere and not exactly in a good way. ****1/4

In Your House 7 "Good Friends, Better Enemies" (28th April, 1996) - No Holds Barred Match for the WWF Heavyweight Championship: Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel
Diesel and Shawn are both about as fired up and intense as I've seen either of them, and they both go out of their way to bump and sell as much as possible. I loved the story of Michaels, trying to avoid the much bigger and stronger Diesel, and had to use his quickness and determination to finally defeat him. The match is also had some smart moments, like Diesel's blocking the superkick and hitting Shawn with a short arm lariat. There are a good revenge spots for Shawn, when he hits Diesel with the chair the same way Diesel did to him when he officially turned him full blown heel. But this match wasn't all Shawn though, as Diesel's "Assholeness" was turned up here from choking out the ref and stealing his belt to stealing Vachon's fake leg. This was a great main event and a nice farewell for Big Daddy Cool. ****1/2

In Your House 10 "Mind Games" (22nd September, 1996) WWF Heavyweight Championship: Shawn Michaels (w/Jose Lothario) vs. Mankind (w/Paul Bearer)
This match is a straight half an hour of chaos between two guys willing to do absolutely anything to win. It’s as good as everyone says it is and if you haven’t seen it, you should watch it like NOW. You don’t have to be a fan of either guy. Shawn and Mick used wrestling, counter-wrestling, hardcore, psychology and with HBK's high flying' lucha libre influenced style mixed with Mankind's hardcore daredevil style made for one hell of a match with so many intense moments. Also, this match should prove to anybody that these two men were the best bumpers in the business at the time. There was a STORY to go along with the bumps and great selling from both men. I've said this time and time again that if this had a clean pin, this quite possible be top 5 matches of all time. At least it was 1996's MOTY. ****3/4

In Your House 11 "Buried Alive" (20th October, 1996) - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley
I keep forgetting this match even happen lol And I’m guessing this is only on here for name sake cause the match wasn't really good, it also didn't help that both men were heels at the time. It also is weird that part of this match (a PPV match) was used to build to a match the next night on Raw. But the real highlight was heel Jim Ross complaining about his broken microphone and Vince’s bad commentary was pretty fantastic, then you had funny ass heel Lawler on this too. “Don’t you hate when Vince says ‘1-2-he’s got him no he doesn't’?†Vince then is uncomfortably quiet. :lmao but yeah it was a solid match with nothing memorable happen. **3/4

In Your House 11 "Buried Alive" (20th October, 1996) - Buried Alive Match: The Undertaker vs. Mankind
As usual when it came to whenever these two men fighting each other, this was an insane brawl as they went all over the place from the ring to ringside & through the crowd down to the actual grave. They used everything they could get their hands on from microphone cords to a sharp object that Paul Bearer brought into the match. The match ends when Mankind has Taker in the MANDIBLE CLAW. But Taker smashes the urn over his head and delivers a Chokeslam to Mankind right down into the grave! and starts covering Mankind with dirt to end the match. Post-Match: Undertaker is still throwing dirt on the grave, but out comes a crazed mask man in an Executioner’s outfit and he kills Taker in the back with an ax handle. He rescues Mankind from the grave and puts Taker down in the dirt to completely bury him. Other heels like Goldust, Bradshaw, Crush and Hunter Hearst Helmsley come over to help shovel dirt on top of the Phonon. Once the hole is filled to the top, a lightning bolt strikes the grave and Taker’s hand come up through the ground! HE’S STILL ALIVE! ***3/4

In Your House 13 "Final Four" (16th February, 1997) - Four Corners Elimination Match for the Vacant WWF Heavyweight Championship: Bret Hart vs. Vader vs. The Undertaker vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
After Austin’s controversial win at the Royal Rumble, so Gorilla Monsoon who was President at the time set this match to determine the number one contender at WrestleMania, and Undertaker was set to win this match to earn that spot. Sid was supposed to regain the World Title from Shawn at Thursday Raw Thursday, and take on Taker for the strap at WrestleMania. Shawn would then face Bret and return the job from WM XII. Well, Shawn broke out his teary-eyed speech and forfeited the belt, necessitating a way to find a champion and eventually get the belt back on Sid. So, the Final Four match was changed from a Number 1 contenders match to a World Title match just days before the show, with Sid getting a crack at the winner the next night on Raw. This match is FUCKIN' AWESOME. The first 15 minutes is just mind-blowingly good, it was just so chaos with Vader being a MVP of the match Seriously, at one point he gets his eye busted open and it looks so nasty, that I think he says fuck everyone in this match so he no sell anything and just beats the shit out with everyone like only he can. I did pop huge for Bret's superplex on Vader. I actually forgot about the fact that you could eliminate guys over the top rope as well until Austin's elimination, Crowd went ape shit when Vader was sent out, the camera was rocking. Absolutely awesome match. ****1/4

In Your House 16 "Canadian Stampede" (6th July, 1997) - Bret Hart, Owen Hart, the British Bulldog, Brian Pillman & Jim Neidhart vs. Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Goldust & the Legion of Doom
What a main event and it still holds up to this day as the best 10 man tag in wrestling history. There was nonstop action for twenty-five minutes, from bell to bell. Bret and the Harts got their huge shining moment in the USA/Canada rivalry of ’97. The crowd was extremely hot, with most of the crowd rooting on the Harts and the amount of heat Austin got in this match is what he wanted when he turned in 2001, his heel performance was AMAZING. As much as I love this match my only problem with it is the ending, C'MON a roll-up ending to a hot 25 minute match was just out of the blue. The pacing made it feel like they were gonna go 50 minutes but then it just ended which upset me. I also loved the side story with Austin getting his knee hurt and going to the back, then later in the match Owen would hurt his and knee and go to the back but when he returned he got a massive pop unlike Austin who got crazy booooo's. Post-Match: Austin tried to start a riot by beating up the Hart family who were at ring side but that eventually gets broken up and the entire Hart family clears to the ring, and then Austin makes another go at it with a chair but gets the attacked and beaten up 10-on-1 style. Harts continue the beating until security finally gets in long enough to arrest Austin and drag him back to the dressing room in handcuffs. Austin flips off the crowd behind his back as the Harts celebrate. ****3/4

In Your House 17 "Ground Zero" (7th September, 1997) - The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
Ahhhh the forgotten Taker/Michaels match, you know it's true. And why would you remember it was just an angle advancement match to add fuel to the fire and to show that the real blow off match that would be HIAC. This was also just here to show Michaels' new dick heel gimmick and to show off the Rude, HHH and China was with him too. But with that being said it's still a fun match with Michaels bumping like a fuckin' god in this, the start of the match was Taker beating living shit out of Michaels; in the ring, outside the ring, on the ramp before the match even gets started. I think the lasted like 9 minutes but then they eventually came back to the ring and the match gets started and that lasts like 15 minutes too so yeah this got some time. Taker and Shawn take turns destroying each other which were fun, but once the overbooking at the end kicked it really took away from the match but like I said I’m fine with it because this was just the angle advancement match. I should mention that during HBK’s entrance the pyro was out of sync so he does the jerk off sign HAHAHAHAHA! ***3/4

In Your house 20 "No Way Out" (15th February, 1998) - Non-Sanctioned 8-Man Tag Team Match: Triple H, Savio Vega, & The New Age Outlaws vs. Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Cactus Jack, & Chainsaw Charlie
You know what crazy that I've never seen this match before, yeah I know. Vega is in because Michaels is home with a broken back. This was a fun and crazy main event, The first several minutes were completely all over the place with wild brawling, I loved the spot with the two man powerbomb through open chairs & Austin launching a trash can from the apron to Billy Gunn in the ring that knocked him down on impact. Then for some reason they just decided to revert back to a regular 8-man tag where you actually need to make tags but it was still a fun. Thankfully things picked up again and got insane as Billy Gunn thrown into the corner where Road Dogg was underneath a piece of table, Cactus being covered in barbed wire, and unprotected chairshots. The match also ends just out of nowhere; like Austin gets the hot tag then 45 seconds later the match is over. Post-match: Billy Gunn gets a Stunner as well and Triple H gets knocked off the apron into the announce table. Chyna then gets in Austin’s face, so he tries to be the nice guy and leave, what a guy but she flips him off, so she gets a Stunner as well to a MASSIVE pop. ***1/2

In Your House 23 "Fully Loaded" (26th July, 1998) - WWF Tag Team Championship: Mankind & Kane vs. The Undertaker & Stone Cold Steve Austin
I was pretty surprised by how much I enjoyed this for it being a '98 match and for neither team being a legit team. Taker & Austin are playing the role of “two guys who hate each other” but are have a common bond and hate the team on the other side just as much, so during the match we would get those tense moments when you thought Austin and Taker was just gonna come to blow, that was AWESOME. I would call this a standard tag team match and if it would of happen on a RAW it might be rated higher but for a PPV it just seemed like it should of been better, that's 1998 for ya' Credit Foley's bumping in this despite a month ago being inside the Cell. **1/2 - **3/4

In Your House 25 "Judgment Day" (18th October, 1998) - WWF Intercontinental Championship: Ken Shamrock vs. Mankind
During this time, Mankind was also going under some character work, as he was being transformed from psychotic weirdo to loveable, gullible goofball. The title was vacated due to Triple H’s knee injury in the Ladder match against the Rock. So, if I remember correctly the storyline has Shamrock, now in heel mode, attack Trips during Heat, and puts him on the shelf even longer. I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would due to Foley allowing Ken to beat him up, there was some solid in-ring action but Shamrock's technical prowess and Mankind's brawling skills seemed to clash at times. There were also a few dull spots during the match. The match ends when Shamrock applies the ankle lock, but Mankind makes it to the bottom rope. Shamrock drags him back to the center of the ring and reapplies the hold, Mankind fights and then punches his own face, and then Mankind applies the Mandible Claw to himself, knocking himself out, forcing the referee to end the match. WHAT? **1/2

In Your House 27 "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" (14th February, 1999) - Last Man Standing Match for the WWF Heavyweight Championship: Mankind vs. The Rock
Mankind came into this match with a bad knee due to Rock attacking him earlier in the night (fuckin' intelligent) this was the usual Foley/Rock brawl goodness as they went to the stage & technical area where both men took hard falls like a DDT through a table & suplex on the concrete as they made their way back to ringside where he had a few comedic moments from The Rock on commentary. before they got more violent using whatever was near them such as the announce table, chair, and the steps including one moment where Rock dropped the stairs out of the ring onto Mankind's knees. The double KO ending was pretty cheap, especially since the announcers kept emphasizing that 'there must be a winner', but still another excellent match in this series. ***3/4

Blu-ray Exclusive Matches

In Your House 14 "Revenge of the Taker" (20th April 1997) - Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
The forgotten match, that's right you only thought it, was SSeries and Mania but you were wrong, wrong, wrong. Bret recently turned his back against his American audience & reunited with Owen Hart & British Bulldog as the new Hart Foundation while Austin was the new fan favourite. Bret targeted Austin's knee using the figure four in the ring & on the post while also removing his brace while Austin kept trying to fight back as much as possible but selling the injury too if that makes sense to you. I liked that when Austin got control and was about to deliver the piledriver his knee gave out on him allowing Bret to take control that was pretty sweet. I also loved both men doing the "one-up-manship and trying to out-cheat the other throughout the match as Austin would use a low blow, choking Bret with wrist-tape, and using his knee brace while Bret got in a low blow of his own, choking and he even got some help from Owen and Davey. Another thing that was pretty fuckin' sweet was Austin trying his hardest to get Bret in his own Sharpshooter for revenge, this definitely would be rated higher if it had a clean finish, While this wasn't a classic like their Survivor Series & WrestleMania encounters, this was still this is a must watch match. ****

In Your House 19 "D-Generation X" (7th December 1997) - WWF Light Heavyweight Championship: Taka Michinoku vs. Brian Christopher
Not a bad match but there was a long heat segment that consisted of Christopher stalling Jesus that guy is terrible, he was trying REALLY! Hard to get the crowd to react to him with heel tactic, he was just pandering to the crowd way too much. But thankfully Taka was sure over and had some nice moves to make this entertaining. **3/4

In Your House 19 "D-Generation X" (7th December 1997) - WWF Heavyweight Championship: Shawn Michaels (w/Triple H & Chyna) vs. Ken Shamrock
Shawn the European Champion here and was in full heel mode at this point, which worked well but he wasn’t bumping like his usual self. The match started off well then went downhill once Michaels took over and for some reason he wrestled a low and boring style here. The ending which was a cheap, didn’t help either no idea why they want to protect Shamrock. Owen’s return was a huge surprise considering the Montreal Screwjob was the last PPV. We now know that Vince McMahon refused to let Owen out of his WWF contract so he was semi-forced back into the storylines. ***

In Your House 23 "Fully Loaded" (26th July, 1998) - D'Lo Brown vs. X-Pac
No idea why this made the DVD at all, it’s pretty much an average mid-card match. The match was a little slow but they would continue to feud into the summer and if I remember correctly those matches would be a lot better. *1/2

Disc One

Documentary: We get this FUCKIN’ AWESOME opening bit with all big names putting over Triple H with kind words and we also get footage of it too. The DVD cuts to clips of a small town called Nashua, New Hampshire a New England city. And we found out that this is where Triple H was born. WOW! I didn’t know that, anyway Triple H says he played allot of sports growing up but his first real passion was wrestling. He then tells us a story that when he was a kid he had a football helmet on playing in the living room and his dad came in and turned the TV to wrestling, Triple H immediately stopped and that was the first time he saw wrestling. The first person he saw was chief J strong bow and that was the start of it. OH SHIT TRIPLE H’S MOM AND DAD! The Dad says he took a young H to shows. Next chapter is Triple H talking about getting into body building at the age of 14, Hunter then tells us a story on how he managed to get into wrestling by meeting Ted and from the moment on they became friend, and that was when he realized hey, real people can do this to. From that friendship and asked and asked but Ted finally gave in and gave a 17 year old Triple H some wrestling school numbers (Back then it was allot harder to get into to wrestling) Anyway one of the number just so happen to be for “Killer Kowalski” OH SHIT! WE GET FOOTAGE OF TRIPLE H TRAINING: mark: My favorite part of this is Killer giving Triple H his first wrestling name, wait for it “The Terroriser” :lmao Triple H hated it and just asked why can’t I just have a first and last name. But Kill wrote it on a piece of cardboard and said are you sure you want a real name, Triple H said yeah so Killer took out a pen and drew a line in-between Terror and riser and said how about that:lmao Somehow that transferred into “Terra Rizing” :lmao Triple H had his first match only 3 months after training, cause that’s how good and natural he was. More INDY! Triple H footage, oh shit we also got a mini-promo.

Triple H says he had 8x10 made and even had resume printed on them and just kept sending them out to every promotion he could just to learn and hopefully get booked somewhere else. But the gym he work for was having some kind of work thing, anyway Flair was gonna be speaking at it as one of the guys that uses the gym and Hunters boss sent him to this convention, so Hunter met him but didn’t have time to send him his resume/8x10 but he did meat a guy called Chip Burnham who is a Live agent agent for WCW. Chip took HHH’s stuff and Chip gave it to the WCW owner called Bob who phoned Triple H putting him over and saying that he wants to give the tapes to Eric Bishoff, well he does and a hour later Eric phones Hunter back and Triple H say give me 5 minutes of your time. Regal comes in and tells a story of how HHH had potential but had terrible foot work. Anyway the match was good and the first person to come up to Triple H when he got to the back was ARN! Who say “Congratulations looks like you got a job” Triple H tells us a story of the first time he grew his balls which was when Eric offered him a deal 2 years for 52 grand, So Triple H says can I just do a year, Eric say what and Triple H says look by the first year you’re gonna know If I’m not worth the 52 or I’m worth a hell of a lot more. And I want you to figure it out. Harley Race just said Triple H reminds him of a young Harley :mark: Road Dogg talks about when they first met, Triple H talks how he was still a lower opening card guy who sometimes got to work with a Steamboat every now and then. Regal talks about how as soon as Triple H moved to Atlanta they became buddies and Regal taut him everything he knew and how he’s a student of the game. DDP even talks about how much Hunter was just focused on wrestling and how nothing else matters. Show even talks about how Hunter was even still training and learning when he didn’t need to be.

Next up Triple H tells us a story that he was at home and gets a phone call, telling him he has to come down to CNN to shoot some promos. Flairs booking at the time and he tells Hunter we’re repackaging you, we even get a story on how Triple H became Jean-Paul Lévesque the French guy :lmao Broken French promo :lmao Regal/Hunter tag teams, damn I wish that would have gotten more time. Next up is how Triple H got into WWF/E and we found out that it was actually Hunter who called Vince, anyway Hunter has a meeting with Vince and Vince asks him why he wants to leave WCW and Triple H tells him the truth that WCW is going to the more TV shows and less house shows so he will only be working a few times a month, well he didn’t get into the business to be rich he got into it to become great. And the only way he can get great is work 365 and he’s just looking for the opportunity. Well Vince phones him back and says yeah you got it and you’ll be working 365 days to become great. The narrator talks about how WCW used the “French Guy” gimmick but changed it on to a rich guy with the name “Hunter Hearst Helmsley” Triple H talks from the moment he got into WWF he worked and worked, with the best wrestling had at the time. All of a sudden OUT OF GIMMICK UNDERTAKER POPS UP AND SAYS “From the moment you saw him he was highly motivated and talented, with a horrible gimmick” Story of the Kliq so HHH is waiting in line for a rental car, and as he’s doing that a big white van pulls up honking. Hunter gets out of line and walks over and Nash tells him to get in with us, Hunter asks us? Me, Scott, Kid and Shawn. Just come with us. Nash and Pac telling a story on how they first met Hunter and how he became the driver. All 5 guys had each other back from that day, narrator talks about the “Certain Call” that killed the business. Poor Hunter left holding the bag of shit, Nash and Hall left, Shawn is Shawn and champion so Hunter had to be buried for it because of people blowing it out of proportion. Triple H mentions that at this time it was booked that HHH was supposed to win the KOTR and feud with Shawn, WHAT? But that now gone and he have to start from the bottom. “You’re gonna have to learn to eat shit, plates and plates and enjoy it” The obviously skip over the months of burying and went right into Triple H winning the IC title. And they wanted to put perfect with Hunter but he up and left for WCW so Vince phones Hunter and asked maybe the Honkey Tonk Man should. CHYNA! Is met in a hotel lobby and Shawn and Hunter right away saw her and thought money, well they pitched it to Vince and he hated it so they kept asking and asking, well more month go by and we find out YOUNG SIMBA PUT IN THE GOOD WORD ALONG WITH Nash putting in a word that WCW wanted her so they also used that to get Chyna in.

Now we get to King Of The Ring 1997 and Foley talks about the evolution of The Blueblood coming to an end with the real Hunter coming out of his shell, with Mick and Hunter even talked about how Foley put him on the match with those matches in 1997. Man they have chemistry, DX intro and we get the story told hundreds and hundreds of times I don’t think I really need to go over it so I’m gonna skip over it and maybe just add stuff people might not know for this section. Taker putting it over :mark: Now we get to Shawn leaving and Hunter starting the new DX, the 1998 2.0 version. First in was X-PAC, then later that night the New Age Outlaws would join. Pretty awesome to find out HHH and co’ had full creative control of this, now Hunter talks about the “WCW invasion” Shawn says that’s his favorite wrestling moment of all time, Pac says nothing will ever top that. Nation vs. DX feud :mark: Pretty upset we didn’t get much about the feud until they go right into the Rock/Hunter feud. SUMMERSLAM 1998! Which only gets a few words, next up Triple H talks about how DX was great but he wanted to be the most hated guy in the business but do it solo. He felt no better time to turn heel when the stable got hottest, Billy Gunn was the most upset because he knew that was all he had. Poor Billy, now we get to the sit down interview with JR. I love that 1999 promo and I just realized they skipped a whole year :lmao well after the 1998 Rock feud Hunter didn’t do anything relevant. Okay still on the 1999 promo with JR :mark: The day Triple H was born. Okay going into SSlam 1999 when the original plan was supposed to be Hunter/Austin but Steve hurt his knee and felt like a 3 way with Foley would be much easier, but we all know the real REASON! Austin didn’t want to put Hunter over, so instead Foley won the belt and the next night with help from Young Simba Triple H accomplished his life’s dream of 1, becoming the most hated guy in wrestling. And 2, becoming the WWF champion. It is what it is. Triple H’s mum and dad were surprised when they were watching it at home.

Oh shit, we now get to the “The McMahon-Helmsley” and at first Steph thought Hunter was disrespectful but she still liked him. Well we get the story of how Chyna came up with the angle but Hunter took credit for this one :lmao and that is how it happen. Man I remember it like it was yesterday. HHH’s mum was on to it from the start, OH FUCKIN’ SHIT LINDA IS ON THE DVD! Now we get to how they really fell in love, and Vince gave it the go ahead as he knew Hunter was such a good guy but then Simba and Linda along with all the boys didn’t like it. Taker’s reaction to it was hilarious, Triple H even go to Taker for advice and Taker drops the line “Fuck em’, Fuck em’ all” Hunter even bringing up those shots that guys still throw around that guys think Hunter only got the titles because of Steph, that still cracks me up. Sneak his way into the family, what a guy. Now Vince forbids it because just like before he allowed the boys to get in his ear again. But as you can clearly see they love each other and even Hunter says the relationship has nothing to do with wrestling. The priest story HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Now we get footage of their real wedding. WAIT! A MINUTE, JUST WAIT ONE MINUTE! I know HHH and WWE have spoke about this already but they just skipped over the HHH/Foley feud C’MON! I wanna hear about whose idea it was to bring back Jack for the Rumble match, I wanna hear who came up with the Rumble match finish SHIT! Anyway now we get to the Rock 2000 feud and the magical stuff they did. Taker, Foley and even the Rock talk about how both guys felt that they thought they were the top guy so that’s why it worked IRON MAN MATCH :mark: Oh Shit Austin putting the feud over. Wait is that it? A few words on the work feud, HOLY SHIT THEY SKIPPED THE ANOTHER YEAR until May 2001 when he tore the quad, no words on the Love Triangle feud :( No words on the Austin 2000/2001 feud, no words on the Power-trip stable.

Triple H says he felt that that was his body telling him enough, ‘cause he was at this time putting on the best matches and it was his hottest time. Triple H talks about even moving to Alabama cause even the doctors doubted it. Glad they didn’t waste too much time on it and we move to the RETURN! :mark: Man I LEGIT think I’ve watched the entrance for this 101 times, still gives me Goosebumps. THANK FUCK THEY narrated the 2002 face run. And now Flair time and how he was a broken down old man so Hunter went to Vince and said let him take him, he need to believe he’s Flair again. Vince says okay and Flair comes into the DVD saying that’s what he needed. Well from that we get into the genesis to EVOLUTION! I love that stable, Enter Dave Batista putting over huge and now Randy comes in and talks to a young Randy when he was getting into trouble. We skip like 3 years and talk about the Cena match at WM 22 WHAT! On no DX 2006/2007 time, UGH! The ladies love DX. SECOND QUAD TEAR! Which gets like 30 second of time and we go to the 2007 return. WWE championship run and even draft to SD in 2008 but that doesn’t get touched on at all. Now we move to the good Ol’ Randy feud. You know the one, the epic build with shitty ass match and terrible pay off. That rule was the most Blue, and even HHH said that he was handcuff and I believe him Vince must have pushed like that. Randy goes on to talk about how Shawn/Taker stole it and how he and Randy knew they were fucked. OH SHIT! MOVIE TIME, Blade getting mentioned: lmao AWESOME! Why did this get 5 minutes? This is the most depressing thing I’ve seen. Don’t get me wrong I can watch guys putting Hunter over all the time but the amount of stuff they skipped prior to this is upsetting.

Returning to the WWE and Triple H talks about the Taker/Hunter matches, well first was the WM 27 feud with highlights of that and the storytelling of that, Taker even says the storytelling was what really put that much over. Okay now WM 28 Hell In A Cell with even better storytelling than the match last year. Magnificent, I kinda wish Shawn would have talked on that match. And maybe it would have got more than 4 minutes total for that. OH SHIT VINCE IS IN TEARS! Now the DVD moves over to Triple H outside the ring business side of it, being on the board of director. This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen on a DVD all the footage of meeting outside the ring and how he’s still learning everything that Vince know. Even telling us the relationship he has with Vince. BROCK! Man the vision Hunter has with NXT and just the future in general is really good. What really puts this DVD over is the final 10-15 minutes talking about the family side and just how driven he is then moving to HHH getting into shape with Steph and this new work out he’s doing. Rock just said no one is like Triple H :mark: Regal putting over the money Hunter drew that doesn’t get the credit and he’s as good a anyone it :mark: Batista dropped the Triple H AKA Michael Jordan line :mark: JR just said he respects no one and trusts no one more than Hunter :mark: Vince JUST SAID HUNTER IS ONE THE BEST THING THAT HAVE EVEN HAPPEN TO HIM AND TO THE BUSINESS!

Overall: Hands down one of my favorite Doc’ in WWE ever, sure it skipped a quite a few things big things that were important to me. But they really went out of their way with this and it felt magical from the start to the finish, what I also liked about this is all the people that spoke on here meant something to Hunter and have some kind of personal relationship with him. Their wasn’t any bums/jobbers that you would see and say wait a minute kinda weird seeing …… talk on this like he knew what was going on.

As for the matches I've yet to watch them and I doubt I'll watch them, their is only 3-4 matches on the set worth watching and the rest I've reviewed so many times that, I'll get on it in the future.
