the wcw stuff was pretty lackluster, and the WWE stuff was pretty great. Wish they would of had more then two ecw matches and how hard is it to get a pre-ecw match. Their were so many better choices of matches out there. Kinda upset with this.

DISC ONE

The documentary Whilst I appreciate “Experience” was a look at the life of Cena, I personally feel there was simply too much attention to John Cena’s work outside of the WWE. Rather than get a whole new perspective on stories within the WWE, it comes across as a John Cena “pop culture icon” presentation.

Nothing like input into the creative process behind matches, thoughts on storylines, interaction with other stars or meetings with Vince McMahon were present here and that would really have helped the viewer come along for a true experience of his life in the WWE. It’s like the balance was all wrong and due to this various parts of the documentary become quite uninteresting. It also takes a long time to get into Also, if you’re overseas the likes of ESPN, Jimmy Fallon, Fiesta Bowl and Psych may not be all that familiar to you which lessens the appeal even more. I don’t recall a documentary on a WWE superstar quite like this one, so you could argue it’s revolutionary at least. Whilst there is too much media and stakeholder related content some of this is a good watch like Mattel’s interaction with Cena scanning his face to create the most realistic figure and behind the scenes before making various TV appearances.

DISC TWO

Match # 5 in the Best of 5 Series for the United States Championship: John Cena v Booker T – No Mercy (3rd October, 2004) **
# 1 Contender’s Match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21: John Cena v Kurt Angle – No Way Out (20th February, 2005) ***1/2 - ***3/4
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship: John Cena v Kurt Angle v Shawn Michaels – Taboo Tuesday (1st November, 2005) ****1/4
WWE Championship Match: Edge v John Cena – Royal Rumble (29th January, 2006) **1/2
John Cena v Edge – Tribute to the Troops (25th December, 2006) **3/4
World Tag Team Championship Match: John Cena & Shawn Michaels v Rated RKO – RAW (26th February, 2007) **3/4 - ***
Falls Count Anywhere Match for the WWE Championship: John Cena v Great Khali – One Night Stand (3rd June, 2007) **3/4

DISC THREE

WWE Championship Match: John Cena v Bobby Lashley – Great American Bash (22nd July, 2007) ***1/4 - ***1/2
WWE Championship Match: John Cena v Randy Orton – SummerSlam (26th August, 2007) ***1/2 - ***3/4
John Cena Returns! – Royal Rumble (27th January, 2008) ***
WWE Championship Match: John Cena v Triple H – (Night of Champions 29th June, 2008) ****1/4
John Cena v Shawn Michaels – RAW (26th January, 2009) ***3/4
John Cena v Jack Swagger – RAW (13th April, 2009) **1/2
John Cena v The Big Show – Judgment Day (17th May, 2009) *
Night of Champions Tournament – Semi-Finals Match: John Cena v The Miz – RAW (29th June, 2009) *3/4
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship: John Cena v Shawn Michaels v Triple H – Survivor Series (22nd November, 2009) ****1/4

Overall: Not the best of superstar dvd, but it does show you everything, 'well almost everything he does outside the ring. I would say don't bother getting it unless your a HUGE CENA MARK.

DISC TWO

Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Championship: John Cena v Shawn Michaels v Edge v Randy Orton (Backlash – April 29th, 2007) ***1/2 -***3/4
WWE Championship Match: Shawn Michaels v Randy Orton (Survivor Series – November 18th, 2007) ****1/4
Unsanctioned Match: Shawn Michaels v Chris Jericho (Unforgiven – September 7th, 2008) ****1/4
Undertaker v Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25 – April 5th, 2009) ****3/4

Overall: Their is a few things missing from HBK’s career, but, to be fair, they have been covered elsewhere. Nothing on Steve Austin and very little on his feud(s) with Triple H aside, this is a fairly comprehensive run through the career of Shawn Michaels, all the way from his first televised mauling to his show-stealing turn against Undertaker at WrestleMania XXV. The sit-down interview is really well done and, in a shocking turn, Michael Cole isn’t annoying in the slightest. In fact, I’d go so far as to say Cole is “out of character” during the interview and lets it flow naturally. A must own for all WWE fans and HBK fans.

WWECW Championship: CM Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero **
Elimination Chamber to become Number 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship ***1/2 - ***3/4
Career Threatening Match: Mr. Kennedy vs. Ric Flair *3/4
World Heavyweight Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Edge **3/4
WWE Championship: John Cena vs. Randy Orton (c) ****
Elimination Chamber to became Number One Contender for the WWE Championship ****1/4

Overall: Not a good ppv the main event was really the highlight, the WWE title match was solid because of orton's performance and the world title could not get the proper time because of Rey's injury. and the other match were solid but not great. And Big show's return. Other then that i would say not a must have ppv but if it's cheap you can pick it up if you want.

DISC ONE

The Documentary: This was an intresting 'doc. I've never heard anybody say anything bad about Ricky Steamboat. But for a lot of people they will find this boring cause he's just too nice to be really interesting. He didn't get heavily into drugs. He didn't get drunk every night. No major drama. Ricky's life seemed to be his career, and this is a fine career retrospective. For me, he's everything a wrestler should be, did his job without much complaining, didn't stab people in the back, and got out of wrestling when people would still remember him as a great in-ring performer. If you are already familiar with Steamboat’s career you would of know all of this already. If you’re not, this was a great summarization of his career for the most part. The doc is only a little over an hour long and it sticks to the main points. The special features were decent, but I wasn’t expecting too much. The reason people love Ricky Steamboat anyway is because of his matches. Disc one is mildly recommended for Steamboat fans and HIGHLY recommended for fans who are unfamiliar with him.

DISC TWO

NWA World Tag Titles: The Brisco Brothers vs. Ricky Steamboat & Jay Youngblood ("Starrcade" '83) ***1/2 - ***3/4
NWA Heavyweight Title: Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat ("Boogie Jam" '84) ****1/4

Lumberjack Match: Ricky Steamboat vs. The Magnificent Muraco w/Mr. Fuji (09/22/85) ***
Ricky Steamboat vs. Jake Roberts (08/09/86) ***1/2
Intercontinental Title: Randy Savage (w/Elizabeth) vs. Ricky Steamboat (w/George Steele) (03.29.87) ****3/4

DISC THREE

NWA Heavyweight Title, 2/3 Falls: Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair ("Clash of the Champions VI" '89) *****
U.S. Title: Lex Luger vs. Ricky Steamboat ("Great American Bash" '89) ****1/2
WCW Tag Team Titles: The Enforcers vs. Dustin Rhodes & A Mystery Partner ("Clash of the Champions XVII" '91) ****3/4
Iron Man Match: Ricky Steamboat vs. Rick Rude ("Beach Blast" '92) ****1/2
No DQ TV Title: Steve Austin vs. Ricky Steamboat ("Clash of the Champions XX" '92) ***1/4
Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Steamboat ("Backlash" '09) **3/4

Overall: A Must own dvd based solely on the quality of matches, this would be right up there with the Bret, Benoit and Flair DVDs. Instead, the production staff got both experimental and lazy. I can see what they're thinking with the pillar-boxing, but it's not necessary. The Flair vs. Steamboat '84 match has no option to let you hear the crowd, and that immersive quality is a huge part of enjoying a wrestling match. Add to that the usual complaint that many of the matches are repeats when Steamboat has more than enough quality material to fill a set, and you get one of the biggest disappointments WWE Home Video has put out. I'll give it a lukewarm recommendation based on the source material alone, but what was a highly anticipated, can't-miss prospect winds up being a missed opportunity.

DISC ONE

Documentary: While entertaining, the biography portion of this DVD is quite short i think it only lasted 50 minutes, it didn't cover his actual in ring career all that much. The biography touches on most of his life and career but in an effort to keep Heenan likable, it kind of glosses over many of the heinous actions of the Heenan family. The biography really doesn't discuss Heenan's wrestlers that he managed that much. But with that said the extras more than make up for it.

DISC TWO

AWA 1/13/80: Bobby Heenan vs. Lord Alfred Hayes *
AWA 8/17/80: Bobby Heenan vs. Greg Gagne *1/2 - *3/4
AWA 5/2/81: Hulk Hogan vs. Nick Bockwinkel & Bobby Heenan **
MSG 11/26/84: Bobby Heenan vs. Salvatore Bellomo *1/4
WrestleFest '88: Bobby Heenan vs. The Ultimate Warrior *3/4
Royal Rumble '92: The Royal Rumble Match *****
WrestleMania X-7: Gimmick Battle Royal 1/4*

Overall: If you don't have the Rumble match on dvd already, this is a must own. Everything else is at least fun because Heenan was always an entertaining guy. What you get is great but the major drawback is that there is a lot of good stuff missing. However, any DVD that features Bobby's Hall of Fame speech, which is also available on the Hall of Fame 2004 DVD, is worth buying. This is a must buy for any fan of Heenan. But only if your a fan of his tho.

WCW World Champion Kevin Nash & Sting vs. Randy Savage & Sid Vicious (w/Team Madness) – (Bash at the Beach 1999) *

Overall: 'Macho Man'Randy Savage was one of the great workers of the 1980s and his bizarre personality kept him going on through the 1990s. Very well done first disc. They managed to show not only the stuff we all expected to see, but also some hidden house show gems that most of us have never seen before. AMAZING stuff. Disc two tops the first one just another amazing disc sure it lacked house show gems, but it makes up for with some of Savage’s matches. Disc three is not on the level on 1 & 2 but still another great disc. WWE hits a home run clear out of the park with their superstar-oriented DVD set. Some seem to complain over the lack of WCW footage, but what else could they show really? His best WCW feuds were with Flair and DDP, so what else could they show? A terrible Hogan match? It wouldn’t really matter which one. They were all bad.

A MUST OWN

Overall: This was a solid mania, As it was not the best and it was not the worst it was right in the middle of the pack. Flair/Shawn giving us an emotional ride, both world title matches delivering. Money in the Bank continues to be fun and Floyd/Show was a fun spectacle. A couple slow spots, but more than enough here to make this a very worthy WrestleMania. I would say get the show it's nice to have in your collection.
