Introducing the card for the first ever WEDNESDAY NIGHT VELOCITY FOR 11/20/13!!

Live from the FedExForum arena in Memphis, Tennessee!

memphis.fedexforum1.jpg

Banner Coming Soon!

After the brands have merge, the POTUF has stated that a third show will be replace to house those who have been left out of their home shows. On Velocity we will see new blood grow into the UWF Superstars of tomorrow, we will see Superstars become champions, and we will see rivarlies brewing as well! So sit back ladies and gentleman, because Velocity is not your average B-Show, but rather it will knock you off your feet and begging for more!

Test vs Carlito

th_Test5.jpg
vs
Carlito_zpsd8250446.png

In our very first match of the event we will demonstrate the power of having two brands in one show when the newest signee of RAW will be taking on a Superstar from Smackdown! Test will be making his debut on the red brand while he will be pitted against Smackdown's Carlito! These two Superstars have their work cut out for them in opening up for the debuting Velocity, can they withstand the pressure?

Matt Hardy vs Paul London

Matt_zpsb60a2708.jpg
vs
PaulLondon_zps2ae62add.png

Matt Hardy is another individual who is making his return to the UWF, but this time he is back with a vengeance! Matt Hardy has been placed on Smackdown and will be duking it out against one half of the ever-impressive team of LonDrick! Can Matt Hardy prove to the world that he's ready to come back or will Paul Londond continue to show his dominance in the UWF?

Drew McIntyre vs Christian

DrewMcIntyre_zps5fa3b3af.png
vs
Christian_zps2dc0170a.png

RAW is putting their hat in as well when Christian will be making his return after a small hiatus, and he will be taking on Drew McIntyer! Both men are ready for a fresh start and the RAW GM will allow them the opportunity to do so, but of course only one man can leave the victor. Question is will 'The Chosen One' become victorious or will 'Captain Charisma' step up to the plate and hit the home run?

TV Title Match: Chris Sabin(c) vs Austin Aries

ChrisSabinTelevisionChampion_zps74d4d83f.png
vs
AustinAries_zpsf7040bd2.png

In the first title match of the night, Chris Sabin will defend his TV title against Smackdown's Austin Aries! Aries had a real struggle against Kane at Halloween Havoc and ultimately fell short in claiming the UWF Global Championship. The Smackdown GM felt that Aries worked super hard at the PPV that he granted Aries a title shot against Chris Sabin, and he's going to do it on the first ever episode of Velocity! Will Aries claim the TV title as his own, or will Sabin defend his championship once again?

Title Unificiation Match: US Championship vs Ironman Championship

DolphZiggler_zps308dcb94.png
vs
Takerus_zps53ae5c1f.jpg

The main event for the much anticipated debut of Velocity will be a Title Unification match between the US Champion The Undertaker against the Iroman Champion Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler managed to reclaim his championship at Bad Blood in a hellacious match against Chris Masters, while The Undertaker defeated Brother D'Von as well at Badd Blood. Neither man is willing to give up his title, and we can expect that both men will be giving out a 110%! Which man will be representing the unified championship after what should be a brutal match between two of Smackdown's finest?

Promos

Promos can be sent by anyone from RAW or Smackdown!!

Damn Blizzard going against Doink!

That's something I'll keep my eye on closely.

All the other matches look good, McIntyre/Christian could be a beauty!

VELOCITY - EVERYTHING IS COMING TRUE - WHERE DREAMS ARE BORN - WHERE LEGACIES BEGIN - VELOCITY

But seriously pumped this is going ahead. Great main event, some big name matches, super-stacked card but word of warning: please cut down the card from next week so that you don't end up NEEDING your own roster and then a third brand is born and so you don't burn out writers etc.

Much love

Re: UWF Velocity 11/20/13 CARD!!

What a card, going to have to go all out against Blizzard. 5 matches is a good size imo, it gets some who weren't booked on the card and that is what Velocity is for. Should be a great show

Re: UWF Velocity 11/20/13 CARD!!

OH DAMN! Look like is business is about to pick up! Appreciate the title opportunity guys, Aries will not back down in his quest regain the gold that was cruelly torn away from him by that villain, Triple H.

Best of luck to both Doink and Blizzard in that huge main event too. Will definitely be keeping a close eye on that one.

Only heavy for the debut episode. Three matches per every Velocity, and btw just to update the Television Championship will be defended every episode of Velocity.

The opening pyro goes off and the fans are going crazy as the theme song is still playing through the PA Systems and the announcer's welcome the viewers at home to the first ever edition of UWF Velocity!

JoeyStylescommen.jpg
jerry-lawler3.jpg

Joey Styles: Ladies and gentleman welcome to the first ever edition of UWF Wednesday Night Velocity! We are coming to you Live from the FedExForum arena in Memphis, Tennessee! I'm Joey Styles here with my broadcast partner Jerry "The King" Lawler and what a debut show we have for you tonight!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That's right Joey! We have 5 matches planned for you tonight, including a TV title match and a Unification match from Smackdown including the Ironman title and the US title! I can't wait!

Styles: Well you don't have to wait for long my friend because our first match is about to get started!

Lilian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

BRAND SPANKIN' NEW GREEN BASS LINE...

For the first time in the history of science and romance, the greatest song ever composed plays under the banners of the green brand! The inaugural UWF Velocity audience explodes in a deafening chorus of praise and adulation as THE American Dolphins – the single greatest tag team ever tagged and surefire next UWF Tag Team Champions sprint out on to the stage. Children scream so loud that several of them suffer immediate tonsilitis. Their mothers are too busy weepin with joy too notice. Fans of all ages and creeds rush to ringside in order to more closely bask in the presence of the enigmatic and alltogehter majestic tandem. Some will later claim to have temporarily been blinded by the magnificent aura – the pure sheen of gloriousness eminating from the faces of the Dolphins. The duo slides sterowise into the ring and proceed to pose on opposing turnbuckles as the crowd continues to hail them as saviour kings arrived to conquer an oppressive and tyrannical reign of monotony and dreaded commonplace.

I Can Slap a Tornadoooo...

The theme of none other than Matt Hardy bellows from the speakers, echoing throughout the arena, as the UWF Universe jump up and cheer for his arrival. Little time passes before the man of the moment comes charging out from the back, throwing an arm up in triumphant and displaying his trademark "V1" hand signal. Hardy jogs from one side of the stage to the other, repeating the same motion, before he begins to stroll down the ramp, high-fiving fans along the way. Hardy has his eyes focused on the ring that he draws ever nearer to, quickly rounding the corner and jogging up the steel steps to enter it. Hardy walks over to the ropes facing the main camera, stands on the middle rope and throws up his arm once again, following the same pattern as before.

Styles: In a match-up made in a cruiserweight lover's dream, it's Matt Hardy going one-on-one with one half of the American Dolphins, Paul London.

The King: I tell you, I can't wait for the bell to ring and I don't think we'll have to wait very long!

DING!

DING!

DING!

The referee rings the bell and this one is underway. Matt and Paul circle the ring a few times before locking up in the center. Matt gets the upper hand and places Paul in a headlock. Paul backs up into the ropes and sends Matt away. As Matt rebounds, he hits London with a shoulder block. Matt goes off the ropes as London adjusts his body to face head down. As Matt hops over him and bounces off the ropes, Paul springs to his feet and hits Matt with a front dropkick. London then gets back to his feet and lifts Matt back up. He irish whips Matt into the corner and London then charges at him. London attempts a a corner dropkick but Matt moves out of the way and London goes crashing to the mat. Matt picks Paul up and tries to end it early. He sets Paul up for the Twist of Fate.

Styles: Could this be over?

As Hardy is about to hit it, Paul squirms out and kicks Matt in the midsection. Paul runs off the ropes but, on the rebound, Matt throws Paul into the air for a flapjack. London, however, in mid air switches things around and ends up hitting Hardy with a hurricanrana. Paull hooks the leg and the referee counts the pin.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

Matt powers out and Paul gets back to his feet. As Matt gets back up, he charges at London and goes for a clothesline. Paul ducks and springboards off the second rope and attempts a moonsault. Matt ends up catching him in mid air on his shoulder and he slams London down with a powerslam. Matt then picks Paul back up and tosses him into the corner. Matt lifts London up and sits him on the top turnbuckle. Matt begins scaling the top rope and sets up for a superplex. Matt pushes off and both men go slamming into the hard ring mat.

The King: AHHHHH! *King Scream*

Matt places a hand over London and the referee makes the count.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

London gets the shoulder up. Both men begins crawling towards the ropes and start using them to get to their feet. Matt is up first and he goes over to attack London. Paul, however, grabs Matt's pants and shoves him through the middle ropes to the outside. Matt hits hard on the outside and this open London up. He runs off the ropes and soars over the top rope and hits a somersault plancha onto Hardy and both men go down. London then gets up and lets out a yell much to the crowd's delight. He picks Matt up and tosses him back into the ring. London slides back in after him and goes for a pin again.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

Styles: I'm loving this action here tonight!

The King: It's just this kind of high-octane action that we can expect from Velocity!

Matt gets his shoulder up and London wastes no time in going back on the attack. He sits Matt up and applies a facelock. London then starts hitting Matt in the back with knees. Eventually, London lets Matt fall and he hits Matt with a standing shooting star press. London hooks the leg again.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

London gets back up and stalks Hardy. As Matt is about to be back up, Paul charges at him. As Londond gets close, Matt springs up and takes his head off with a huge clothesline. Matt grabs London and throws him into the ropes. As London comes back, Matt hits him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Matt then sees the top rope and decides to climb up top.

Styles: What is Matt Hardy thinking?

Matt throws up the Gunz before jumping off the top rope and hitting London with a top rope legdrop. Matt then pins London.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

Hardy picks London back up and tosses him into the corner. Matt then starts hitting Paul with a few knife-edge chops to the chest. Paul eventually switches places with Matt and London starts hitting Hardy with chops of his own. London eventually places Hardy onto the top rope but wastes time taking a breather, allowing Matt to counter. He grabs London by the head and hits him with a tornado DDT. Matt places an arm over Paul as the referee counts the pin.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

The King: What a move by Matt Hardy!

London gets the shoulder up and Matt is in shock. He goes to pick London back up but Paul starts hitting him with repeated right hands. Eventually, the two start exchanging puches with Matt eventually getting the upper hand. He sends London into the ropes but, on the rebound, London ducks a clothesline attempt and springboards off the second rope once more, this time just going for a crossbody. He nails it and then hooks Hardy's leg.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

Styles: Paul London is still in this thing!

The King: He's taking it right to Matt Hardy!

Matt throws London off of him and, as he gets back up, London goes for a punch but Matt blocks and instead locks London in and connects with a Side Effect!

Styles: Side Effect! This could be it!

Matt then pins London.

1..

2..

KICK-OUT!!

Matt can't believe it once more as he lifts London back up. As he does, London drops him with a stiff kick to the temple. Hardy crumbles to the mat below. London sees this as a perfect opportunity and he begins scaling the top rope.

The King: Paul London about to take to the skies!

Before he can do anything, Matt throws himself into the ropes and throws Paul off balance and he ends up racking himself on the top turnbuckle. Matt capitalizes on this and grabs London by the head and hits him with a top rope Twist of Fate!

Styles: OH MY GOD!

The King: What a Twist of Fate for London!

Matt then pins London.

1..

2..

3!!

YOUR WINNER, MATT HARDY!!

MattWin.jpg

Styles: That was quite the return for Matt Hardy, King!

The King: Oh, no doubt about it, Matt Hardy is back and he's ready to take on all challengers!

London rolls out of the ring and he and Kendrick head back up the ramp as Hardy celebrates with his fans. We are then directed to another segment.

The Camera moves to the backstage area where Carlito is sitting back with his trademark apple.

carlito-wwe-o.gif

Carlito:Ladies and Gentlemen, the new beginning of UWF is upon us and it couldnt have happened any sooner for Carlito, its no secret that Carlito has been struggling since carlitos debut and Carlito largely puts it down to Carlitos mindset. You see while on Anarchy Carlito had a team first mindset where Carlito would do anything to make sure The Establishment would come out victorious even when at times it meant sacrificing Carlitos individual performances to help out other Establishment members.

The Crowd boos at the mention of The Establishment

Carlito: But now it is a new beginning for Carlito, no more Anarchy, no more Establishment and no more Vince Russo. Carlito can finally get back to what Carlito came here for in the first place and that is to return professional wrestling back to where it once was, back to what Colon family built many years ago, where talent and technique reigned over all other attributes. Todays business has become nothing but a running joke with superstars being rewarded for stupidity and being foolish, and its all you fans out there that provide the cheap laughs that encourages this ridiculous behavior. Carlito will rid this company of these jokes of people who have no write to call themselves wrestlers and bring tradition back to this once great company. Now thats Cool!

Carlito takes a bite out of his apple and spits it over the camera

This past Monday on RAW said:
Batista now is just one man away from becoming the World Champion and he turns towards that man. Michaels is up on his feet but dazed, perhaps old age has tired the Heart Break Kid out. Batista spins him around when suddenly he is nailed with what feels like a bullet. Shawn has connected with Sweet Chin Music. But Batista is such an monster he doesn’t go down, instead he falls into the ropes staggered.

JR:
Oh my god! Shawn Michaels with Sweet Chin Music from out of nowhere and he’s got Batista up against the ropes! Come on Shawn you can do it!

Piper:
No way does HBK get Batista up and over that top rope!

HBK realizes what it is going to take to become World Champion and Shawn is willing to do whatever it takes. He bounces off the ropes building as much momentum as he can and with everything he can muster he leaps into Batista, the impact sending both men sailing over the top rope. The crowd is on their feet as both bodies hit the ground at about the same time. Some people believe Shawn Michaels has won, others believe it is Batista. The officials begin talking amongst themselves.

JR:
Shawn Michaels taking a brazen chance and it just might have paid off. I think he’s just won the World Title for a second time Hot Rod.

Piper:
No way JR! Batista was the most dominant in the last moments he clearly won the match, Shawn practically eliminated himself and all for nothing!

The officials have appeared to come to a decision and head official Earl Hebnar heads over and grabs the World Championship from its place at ringside and begins to take it over to the winner. He heads over to Batista and Michaels who are both sitting up against the wall trying to figure out who won. Hebnar hands the belt to the New World Heavyweight Champion and points to him. Justin Roberts nods his head and announces the winner.

Justin Roberts: The winner of the match and the NEWWWW UWF World Heavyweight Champion: The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels!!!

The crowd explode into cheers unable to believe that HBK has done the impossible. He has won the battle royal for the vacant UWF World Championship. Batista can’t believe it as HBK clutches the World Title. Batista is furious as he grabs the nearest official and tosses him down. Batista is incensed as he heads over to the announcer’s table and begins tearing it apart. HBK walks up the apron holding up the World Title in disbelief realizing for the second time he is the World Champion of Monday Night Raw. We take a look at Batista who is now tossing the monitors off of the table and smashing them to pieces. We leave this edition of Raw with HBK holding the World Title high as Batista is furious as we fade to black.

Introducing the champion, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 218 pounds; he is the UWF TV Champion.... CHRIS SABIN!

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Chris Sabin and Austin Aries both look at each other hard, then circle each other around the ring like a pack of vultures then get into a lockup! Aries seems to be having the upper hand here but Sabin gets Aries into a lockup, but Sabin gets shoved by Aries to the ropes, Sabin comes back to Aries who shoulder blocks him to the ground. Sabin jumps back up to his feet and Aries is already charging at him so Sabin hops onto Arie's shoulders and tries to go for the hurricarana but Aries shoves Sabin off his shoulders, Sabin lands on his legs and Aries goes for a discus clothesline but Sabin ducks it and kicks Aries in the gut, then grappes him and tries to throw him out of the ring but Aries grabs onto the ropes. Sabin doesn't know that Aries is on the apron still so Aries jumps onto the ropes and then follows up with a springboard missile dropkick onto Sabin! Sabin goes flying to the ropes, then gets himself up but Aries comes around and clotheslines Sabin out of the ring! Sabin lands on his feet and is looking dazed from being clotheslined out of the ring, but then looks up and sees Aries flying over the ropes and hits a crossbody vault onto Sabin at ringside!

King: Look JR! Austin Aries can fly!

Styles: Of course he can King! He's a very talented young man!

Austin Aries ignores the crowd jeers towards him as he throws Chris Sabin back inside the ring, then climbs into the ring as well. Sabin tries to get back up but Aries stomps onto the legs of Sabin to keep him at bay, then clubs him on the back to bring more punishment to the TV Champion. Sabin is trying to fight back by swinging some fists around but Aries knees him in the chin to keep him down, then hits a knee drop to the back of the head to make sure that he doesn't move much. Aries then pulls Sabin to the center of the ring and then goes for a springboard moonsault but falls to Sabin's knees and Aries rolls away while holding onto his stomach. Sabin gets up and charges after Aries but Aries ducks a clothesline from Sabin and takes him down with a roundhouse kick to the head! Sabin goes down and Aries tries to lift him up and go for the Brainbuster but Sabin breaks free and falls behind Aries, hitting a neckbreaker onto the challenger! Sabin then gets up and goes onto the apron and hits a springboard elbow drop to the chest of Aries!

Styles: Look at Aries go! What skills this athletic man has!

Sabin gets up and is feeling the momentum now! Sabin lifts up Aries and hits a chop to the chest, then another one as Aries backs up from Sabin, ending up at the turnbuckles. Sabin then runs after Aries and hits a corner dropkick which causes Aries to go to a sitting postition at the corner, then Sabin goes up and hits a low dropkick to Aries! Aries falls under the ropes but Sabin hits a baseball slide kick to the back of Aries, which causes him to fall to the floor at ringside. Aries appears to be down from the assault while Sabin looks to the crowd and climbs the ropes, then looks down as Aries is about to get to his feet. Sabin then jumps off the ropes and goes for a diving crossbody but Aries gets out of the way, which causes Sabin to crash to the floor at ringside! The crowd boos at Aries who is all smiles now, happy to have outsmarted the TV Champion. Aries picks up Sabin and throws him back inside the ring again, and then rolls back into the ring as well!

King: What do I keep telling everyone JR, Sabin is one of those guys who likes to show off to the crowd, but 9 times out of 10 it always backfires!

Styles: He does it not because of the risk, but because of the award that the crowd gives him King.

Austin Aries gets into the ring and looks at Chris Sabin, who manages to get to his feet. Sabin turns around and punches Aries in the face, but Aries hits one in return. Sabin goes down to one knee and Aries approaches him but Sabin drives his fist to the gut of Aries and Aries hops away from Sabin. Aries then tries to approach Sabin but Chris Sabin hits an enzuirgir to the side of the head of Austin Aries! Aries goes down and appears to be knocked out, Sabin drags Aries to the center of the ring and then quickly climbs the ropes, then drops down and hits a senton bomb to Aries! The crowd is loving the comback from Sabin so Sabin picks up Aries and bounces off the ropes, then hits a headscissor's takedown to Aries who goes flying across the ring! Aries is back up and Sabin goes after Aries by kicking him in the stomach, then gets up up for the suplex but Aries slips out and lifts Sabin but for a belly to back suplex but Sabin flips behind Aries and lands on his feet, turns him around and lifts him up and executes the Cradle Shock onto Aries! The crowd pops loudly as Sabin goes for the cover!

The crowd is booing at Aries and calling bullshits as Aries leaves the ring while holding the TV title! Aries shows off the belt while walking up the ramp as Sabin shakes his head in disgust, not liking on what Aries just did to him.

The scene opens on SmackDown superstar Rob Van Dam backstage. He's looking a bit "influenced" as he looks around confused. He then shouts off-camera.

J70HC.jpg

Rob Van Dam: Evan! Bourne-io, what's taking so long, man? Undertaker vs Dolph Ziggler is about to come on and we're gonna miss it because soooommmmmeonnnnnnne wanted to do Darth Vader noises in the bong and spill all the weed!

About this time, Rob's tag team partner Evan Bourne comes into frame and hands Rob something. Evan sits down and looks out of it as usual

tumblr_lf0sjtoEyl1qdbflho1_500.jpg

Evan Bourne: You're just jealous because I pulled off an excellent James Earl Jones!

Rob Van Dam: Alright, you got me on that, but still, party foul on the weed, man. That was some good shit, dude!

Evan Bourne: It's alright.....it's alright.......alright?

Rob Van Dam: Alright.

Evan Bourne: ......alright......al.......

Bourne kind of slumps back in his chair and closes his eyes and just starts laughing to himself. Rob hits him in the chest and he stops and opens his eyes. Bourne is startled as he sits up.

Evan Bourne: What was that all about?

Rob Van Dam: Man, I think some of that bong water splashed into your brain. Now, come on. This is the debut edition of UWF Velocity and we're supposed to give a review of it on UWF.com. Now, pay attention.

Evan Bourne: Wait, what? We have to what?

Rob Van Dam: Yeah, a review, man.

Evan Bourne: Oh, review! I thought you said club a baby seal or some shit.

Rob Van Dam: No, just a review.........wait, huh?

As RVD is questioning this, he loses his thought and hits the button on his controller, fading out of this segment and back to Velocity.

Styles: Ladies and gentleman, it is now it's time for the main event United States Championship Unification match!

Lawler: The Undertaker has been impressive lately, however Ziggler is not to be under-estimated here!

I just skimmed through it because it's like 4 am, but congrats to Dexter for picking up that Championship win. Doink, congrats on being the Undisputed United States Champion! I'll read this tomorrow when I'm not half asleep. From what I did see everything looks nice and this is a great idea to make sure everyone has something to do, keeps everyone in the fed active which is nice. I also like the touch of defending the TV title every show because for a while the TV title really didn't mean much. Good stuff here, goodnight UWF!

It's about time Aries got some gold around his waist! :hollywood:

Honestly, a great edition of Velocity, some great write up material, and dat RVD/Bourne promo... Gonna have to keep my eye on those two. Thanks for giving me the chance with the TV Title. It may have taken him close to three months, but Aries just got a nice sweet bit of revenge against the man who wrecked his career... Now if only there was a Triple H in UWF so Aries could bust his brain. :D

Congratulations to Doink on becoming the Undisputed United States Champion! His Undertaker is something else... I've seen so many people attempt to play the dead man, but none do so just as well as Doink does, deserved win there for sure.
