"mainstream" anything is overrated imo.

Not saying I don't like mainstream rap/rock and all that. Their is good mainstream, you just have to know where to look.

As far as actresses/actors:

Angelina Jolie. She's wholeheartedly RUINED entire movies. Literally. She gets casted because of her "star power", not because of her acting ability. She sucks and looks as if she's pushing 50. NOT hot. Nobody cares that you think you're self important and that you think you can save the world by visiting some third world countries. If you want to make a difference, write a fucking check!

Jennifer Aniston. The "Julia Roberts of the 2000's". When has she EVER shown anything in terms of "range" or "ability" when it comes to character traits? EVERY movie, she's "Rachel Green: America's Girl Next Door from Friends". She's a one trick pony and I'm tired of Hollywood worshipping her whining.

Shia Lebouf: Hey I got endorsed by Spielberg so now I'm valuable!!! NO. You look 12 years old and can NEVER hope to accomplish what Harrison Ford has done as Indiana Jones. Thanks for ruining Indy IV, asswipe.

Matthew McConaughey: They've tried for YEARS to get this overrated scumbag over as a Gritty, Tough leading Action Star and it has backfired, every time. He showed some range and believability in his roles in A Time to Kill and Reign of Fire, respectively, but otherwise, it's just the same, slack-jawed, southern drawl gearhead from Dazed and Confused in every other movie.

As far as movies go:

Transformers movies. If you like these Michael Bay travesties (other than Armageddon and The Island), you're excited by "explosion porn" which is nothing more than fuel for ADD people that don't care about story, acting and depth in a movie. They're Blue, plain and simple.

More later when I think of them..

Agreed with all of these, except I liked Shia Lebouf in Disturbia. I didn't see the new Indy movie as I thought it would be awful anyways.

The best part of that whole movie is when Indy encloses himself in a refrigerator to survive a nuclear bomb detonation.

Nope, not saying he isn't great. I just aint to big of a fan and I would take LeBron or Wade over him any day of the week.

If there was a fantasy draft today, you'd take LeBron or Wade over Kobe but in the last 5 minutes of a game, you want Kobe. LeBron has NEVER been clutch and Wade just needs help.

Oh yeah, Ryan Reynolds in action movies.

Kobe is somewhat over rated. I'm not a stat rat, but the most efficient player with 5 minutes to go is LBJ, followed by Wade. Kobe has hit more buzzer beaters than them, but has missed many more, matter of fact LBJ, then Wade have hit a higher percentage. But those are just stats.

But Kobe has had things on his own and failed miserably though. He wouldn't have a title without a big man to defer to. He needed Pau as much as he needed Shaq. Has Wade or LBJ ever been up 3-1 and lost a play off series? Nope. He shoots a lower FG %. He's also had his most success being coached under Phil, the greatest coach ever. I'm not saying he's completely over rated, but he isn't as close to Jordan as the media makes him out to be and I think he's slightly over rated since ESPN and NBA.com dubbed him Player of the decade and the real answer was either Duncan or Shaq as Shaq piggy backed him to three titles and has three straight Finals MVPs and Duncan had back to back MVPS, three rings and two finals MVPs, not to mention to be the franchise player on the only team in NBA history to have 10 53+ winning seasons, thus meaning no one won more than Duncan. But I guess jacking up 20+ shots a game to be a scoring leader and missing the playoffs after dominance and having the worst choke job that wasn't pulled by the Mavs , not to mention being second fiddle for 40% of the decade equates to Player of the Decade, it also equates to being somewhat over rated.
