I just read Harry Potter not too long ago. Maybe it was due to low expectations but I thought the books were excellent. I agree with TQO that the ending could've been done a bit better but other than that they were great.

Harry Potter series were amazing books. The movies leave a lot to be desired, but it was a great read indeed.

To add... The Hurt Locker. Really people? It wasn't that great.

How is all the stuff he's listed not overrated?

Tupac, named the greatest rapper of all time? Usually being called the greatest of all time will mean people will think you're overrated.

The Olympics. Definitely agree with that one.

Justin Timberlake. How is that even questionable?

All I hear about at school is OMG LESBIAN PRONZ~!!~!~!~!~!

Cosmipolitan, some stupid magazine that makes people feel they should look a certain way. Overrated.

Michelle McCool is incredibly overrated.

I agree with most things he's said.

Damn The Quintastic One what do you like?

Some of it just seem to be thrown on there. Justin Timberlake? The Olympics? Lesbian Porn? Cosmopolitian? Michelle McCool?

I don't have to justify myself to the black people. Unless of course you're Jurassic Bones, he's the shit.

As for stuff I DO like, we should probably make a "Underrated" thread.

Also, Kizza is still IWF's #1 Aussie.

Regarding MCR: I seem to get that all the time. People get very angry when I throw them into the same sentence as "emo". But the parallels are there. The random screaming, lyrics written as if they were poetry written by an overly angsty teen, the scene haircuts and attire. I could care less if they're music have some sort of deeper meaning or whatever, the video just exemplifies what I know as emo. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy it. There are a few select songs I like from every group. The Black Parade, Don't Want To Fall In Love, some Blue October stuff, it CAN work. But I still largely consider the genre overrated by the mainstream as "cutting edge" when it's really just annoying.

2) Regarding BTB's, the BTB's themselves are not what's overrated. It's the effect of "Quality" BTB's. I get the creative itch to write BTB's all the time, but I don't like the competition. I don't like the high expectations, or the stress on failures. So it's not that I dislike anybodies BTB, it's the ideal of needing a "Quality" BTB that bugs me.

3) I actually have no problems with Devil May Cry. It's very occult in it's themes and you don't get to see that often. The character model of Dante is stupid as fuck, and they make you play as some really annoying players in DMC 2 and 3. But it's one of those "Can do no wrong" kind of games that make it overrated. I can barely hold a conversation with DMC fangirls/guys.

MCR pretty much dropped the screaming after the TBP album, and aren't all emo bands supposed to be about how their girlfriends broke their heart and they hate the world and all that other bullshit? And not really, most people share your views on them. I'm not angry about it, but I think MCR are underrated if anything, because they went mainstream and everyone says they're emo when I think aside from a few awful...awful songs, they're pretty quality and some of the better rock of the decade.

BTBs are a mixed bag, because a lot of times if you don't write 100 pagers and strictly follow "booking 101", you're gonna get ignored/shat on, so it's better just to ignore the asshats. On the subject, you're welcome to come back, as I can actually review you now. :y:

Yeah, fanboys of all games are crazy though. Again, it's better to just ignore. Have you played DMC4? Nero's better than Dante to play as.

Tupac? Overrated? No... Just.... No.

I love Pac, but he is somewhat over rated. He's the Curt Cobain of rap, except that he didn't sell 35% of the albums he sold alive as compared to in death. The fact that he never outsold Big while they were living and basically used Big's rep to gain notoriety is cheap heat. 80% of his legend is posthumous reputation and the other 20% is his beef with Big. He's was a great rapper, but had he not died in that manner or made a name for himself off of Big, he wouldn't be in the convo of GOAT, which by the is probably Rakim, Nas or LL Cool J.

(About what's in bold) Who the fuck said that? Biggie has been called the GOAT of hip hop since his death. I'll admit Lesbian porn isn't that great and Timberlake's music is good but not overwhelmly great. Cosmo is a woman's magazine and woman make a majority of things popular overrated. Really McCool? Who on this site makes claims of her greatness in the ring because I've never heard ANYONE say anything good about her. I swear Q One ran out of things and just threw random shit on that overrated list of his with McCool being number 1.

I don't have to justify myself to the black people. Unless of course you're Jurassic Bones, he's the shit.

Please make this list cause I'd love to see it. Oh wait do I have to ask JB's permission too, since you don't respond to the "large" majority of the black people on this forum.

I thought you were really smart and then you said what's in bold.

When it comes to Michelle McCool, I think you're assuming that the internet smark community makes up the majority of what is considered overrated or underrated. Michelle McCool is overrated, by the casual fanbase as well as the WWE Creative as a whole, because there is no way that somebody who has that little of talent would be so successful otherwise.

And I haven't ran out of things to say, as I could probably go on for days about what's overrated in mainstream society. But if you're freaking out over Tupac, I don't even want to know your reaction would be if I said Biggie. ^_^.

And I suppose I should rephrase my statement, as I don't have to answer to you. It was funnier to say "the black people" as a whole. But generally, you're one of the only people on this forum of a different color that I find annoying. That, and TheoBrown. I actually like Bones & Nation though.

MOI??? Annoying?? LOL That's comical to me.

Shit when it comes to Tupac and Biggie I don't even remember much when they were alive, wasn't much of fan anyways. And you explained your claim of McCool so I'm fine now about it.
