bm : Aries / Dykstra, just because I like his gimmick, and I'm a big fan of his work in real life. The right man won in this match. kendrick / Strong was a close second IMO, the ladder match will be huge..

Wm : probably Burke vs Burchill. I mean th match was very good, but I think the result was too predictable. It's always like that with stables lol. But it was needed and well done.

Bp : Easily, the Joe / Punk confrontation. It was done like a shoot ITW and with these two men , it had to be good. Smart move to give them some mic time.

WP : all promos were good.

AC : Great match, you know how to write good matches and build great feuds. The main event promo was very well done, and the ladder match could be really excited. I don't know what you got in mind, but the winner of this match could get a huge push. I like that.

BM: Dykstra vs Aries was pretty impressive, really beyond what I thought when I started reading it, very awesome match

WM: You just might be the greatest match writer here, makes me look bad, no, seriously, good job

BP: Punk and Joe, enough said.

WP: N/A

AC: What a damn good read, I have to admit, this is one of my current fav's on IWF BTB right now, just because it kicks ass. You have great promos skills, and at that, it's out done by your match writing, great work, for real.

Pro Wrestling PRIDE

April 19, 2008
Murphy Recreational Center
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Pro Wrestling PRIDE Logo flashes across the screen as the first Chords of Jane’s Addiction’s Stop plays. A highlight video plays along to the song.

HERE WE GO!
Go! Nowhere!
No One… Gonna Stop Us Now!

Save the complaints,
For a party conversation.
The world is loaded,
It's lit to pop and nobody is gonna stop...

No one...
No one!
No way!
Gonna stop,
Now; go!

Farm people,
Book wavers, soul savers,
Love preachers!
Lit to pop and nobody is gonna stop.

No one...

One come a day, the water will run,
No man will stand for things that he had done...
Hurrah!
And the water will run...
One come a day, the water will run,
No man will stand for things that he had done...
Hurrah!
And the water will run...
Will run!
Will run!

Gimmie that!
Gimmie that - your automobile,
Turn off that smokestack
And that goddamn radio
Hum... along with me...
Hum along with the T.V.

No one's
Gonna
Stop!

After the video plays, the camera shows the entrance stage. A mix of Crash and Sirius hits, and Ricky Steamboat and Mick Foley make their way to the ring. Mick Foley grabs a microphone and stands in the ring with his commission partner. Foley begins to speak…

Mick_Foley2.jpg

Foley – Mark the date, because on May 17th, Pro Wrestling PRIDE will make its television debut on MTV! I know, it will only be a once a month type of thing, but when you get to see such great wrestlers like Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Montel Vontavius Porter, and Paul Burchill.

Ricky_Steamboat2.jpg

Steamboat – That’s right Mick, and that show will be live from the Manhattan Center. We already have 3 huge matches announced for the show. For the PRIDE Championship, it’ll be CM Punk vs Samoa Joe, a 6 Man Ladder Match for the International Title, and a Three Way Dance for the Lightweight Title.

Foley – But really, that isn’t the start of it, we’ve still got more matches to announce. But right now, I want to talk about this great, great crowd in Philadelphia!

*Cheap Pop*

Foley – Today will be a pretty action packed show too, we’ve already got—

Suddenly, the lights go dim. Screams play through the speakers, and the lights turn on. The Age of the Fall stand at the entrance stage, with their own microphone. Jimmy Jacobs begins to speak…

AOTF.jpg

Jacobs – Mick Foley, this time you’ve taken it too far. Right now, do you really expect us to appear on Television, selling ourselves out in the name of business? Wait, don’t even try to answer that, you washed up freak. The answer is no, we refuse to wrestle, or even be mentioned by this company on that show. I don’t even want my name to be uttered, or our revolution to be hinted, because it is total hypocrisy. Being told to go one way the whole time, being told that something that is different is bad, that’s what this revolution is fighting right now. Unlike you two, Mick Foley and Ricky Steamboat, we have integrity and the dignity to care for our well being.

Black – Unlike you Mick Foley and Ricky Steamboat, we actually care about our lives. We will not whore ourselves to a system of lies and backstabbing. We will never be associated with something that our revolution is against. Ricky Steamboat, we’re not going to constantly play to the fans, the same fans that post on the internet about how washed up you are. Because we know what’s happening, we know that you’re nothing more than an old man. Just keep getting the crowd on your side, you’ll finally realize it’s sympathy to how bad off you are.

Lacey – You see, the channel that PRIDE will be shown on, MTV is the perfect example of what’s wrong with society today. Showing people how to act, and what’s the newest trend is exactly what I’m talking about. Shows like The Hills, The Real World and Laguna Beach show people the life not to lead, being a spoiled artificial bitch that gets every thing served to them on a silver platter. Seeing people that were once musicians become figures of nothing, seeing them turn into whores of the society. And watching people, like these freaks in the crowd suck it all in and try to emulate what they see, it makes me sick to my stomach!

H. Smith – And this is another time it’ll be said, the Age of the Fall is not just PRIDE’s hottest thing going, we’re also a revolution. This revolution will take anyone from all walks of life. We’ve already changed lives, and next, we’re going to change the world. To make millions of people see that you two, Foley and Steamboat, are nothing but fakes. The Age of the Fall is the future. This isn’t on MTV, but everyone will be seeing what all the buzz is about. Our revolution will not become televised, and it will not be stopped. So let’s make a deal, right here right now for you two. Next week, it’ll be Jimmy, Tyler and I, taking you two and a partner of your choice. The winner decides the fate of Pro Wrestling PRIDE on TV. We don’t care who you partner with, whether it’s Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, or anyone else. What do you say oldies?

They rush to the ring, and face off with Foley and Steamboat. Foley adds in his reply…

Foley – You know that me and Steamboat are both retired from in ring competition, I like your plan there, but nuh uh, it’s not happening.

Jacobs – What a liar. Here he is, finally exposing the fans to his real side, it’s Mick Foley the fraud. Look at how many times you’ve said you were retired, only to come back for a quick pay and happiness. Tell me why you have to lie, are you afraid?

Foley –
No, I’m not here in PRIDE to wrestle, I want others to shine, I want to make them stars, just like how Terry Funk helped me to where I am today.

Steamboat – Guys, me and Foley already knew that was going to happen, and so we brought in some reinforcements. Let me introduce you to Team PRIDE.

The lights focus on the entrance stage, and the crowd awaits who the mysterious team is. Out through the curtain comes one man, followed by another, followed by a bigger man. It’s Billy Kidman, BJ Whitmer and Tyson Tomko, Team PRIDE. They get into the ring, on the side of Foley and Steamboat.

Black – That’s all you’ve got? That’s what you’re talking about? Handpicked across the world just for these freaks? Over here, you’ve got corporate sellout Billy Kidman, who’s as washed up as you two old men.

Smith – Next to him you have a big steroid freak and another television whore, from Total Nonstop Attitude Problems, we have Tyson Tomko, someone who’s looking for something to eat and something to shoot 3 inches up his ass.

Jacobs – And look who else it is, it’s BJ Whitmer. King of the bore fest, hardcore wrestling whore, and complete promotion Suckup. Welcome to PRIDE BJ, I’m hoping to staple something to your head right now, because for 2 years I’ve been waiting to do that to you, because I totally hate your guts. Let’s go, right now, 3 on 3 with the Age of the Fall.

Foley – Hold on a second Jimmy, you’re getting way too excited from seeing these 3 guys here. First, you need to get acquainted with these guys first, so it’ll be a couple of weeks before you get your wish granted. Second, you’ll get your 3 on 3 match, and it will be an elimination deathmatch, just to keep you interested. Finally, and listen up here, this match will happen in a couple of weeks.

Jacobs – When, tell me you prick!

Foley – It’ll happen on May 17th, at PRIDE’s television debut.

Jacobs – You can’t do that Mick, we’re not showing up. We already told you that being on TV is atrocious, you’re just here to screw with us. We are not doing that. So let’s go right now, I don’t want to wait that long for something not to happen.

Steamboat – And all 4 of your jobs will be on the line, if you lose, you will be banned from PRIDE.

Jacobs – You can’t do that, you goddamn freak.

Jacobs drops his microphone, and him and Harry Smith and Tyler Black try to attack Foley and Steamboat. The three members of Team PRIDE are there to stop the Fall’s attack, each hitting a member with punches, sending them backwards. They eventually clean house and throw them out of the ring, and Lacey gets out, tending to her men, going to the back. Mick Foley and Ricky Steamboat hold the hands of Kidman, Tomko and Whitmer in the air, taunting the Age of the Fall. They leave the ring, in celebration.

Simon – A big announcement by Foley and Steamboat, shutting the Age of the Fall down, making them wrestle on the big show on May 17th.

Malenko – It looks like they deserved it, ever since the first show, they’ve been attacking the PRIDE Commissioners.
Masters – I really think that the Fall wanted that match to happen, to beat some sense into Foley, Steamboat and Team PRIDE.
Simon – We’re going to have our first match right now, Jimmy Rave will take on Lance Hoyt.

D’Angelis – The following match is a qualifying contest for the 6 man ladder war on May 17th! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 30 Minute Time Limit!

House of the Rising Sun hits and Jimmy Rave walks to the ring with Prince Nana. People throw toilet paper at the two, and D’Angelis calls out their names.

D’Angelis – In the ring, with Prince Nana, standing in at 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 210 pounds, from Ghana, West Africa by way of Atlanta, Georgia, he is Jimmy Rave!

Kickstart My Heart blasts through the speakers, and Lance Hoyt makes his way to the ring, getting cheered by the fans. He holds up a devil sign and slaps hands with fans.

D’Angelis – His opponent, from Dallas, Texas, standing 6 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 265 pounds, this is Lance Hoyt!

Simon – Big Lance Hoyt will try to get a shot in a ladder war if he wins this match right now.

Masters – Oh my gosh, it’s the Rock and Rave Infection guys!

Simon – Fag.

Qualifying for Ladder War
Jimmy Rave vs Lance Hoyt

*Bell Rings*

The match starts without a traditional lockup, with Jimmy Rave trying to immediately knock Hoyt off of his feet. Rave grabs the leg, and tries to push him down with a single leg takedown. Rave is unsuccessful, as Big Lance used his free leg to boot Rave away. Jimmy rolls out of the ring, and he gets some advice from Prince Nana. Hoyt waits anxiously for Rave to get back in, with the ref holding him back from attacking. Rave finally slides back into the ring, and Hoyt comes at him with hard punches. Hoyt has the height advantage, and Rave tries to duck under the big man’s offense. Before Rave could come back with strikes, Hoyt tossed him against the ropes. Lance tries to pick Hoyt up for a tilt a whirl, but Rave used his momentum and brought him down with a head scissors takedown. Rave follows up by stomping at the head and chest of the downed Hoyt. Hoyt is pushed to the ropes, and the ref calls for a break. Rave continues to stomp repeatedly, until the ref stops the count and has to push Rave away from Lance Hoyt. Rave finally backs up and stops stomping, and he gets on a knee and poses in the ring, getting booed by the fans.

Simon – A nice show of cockiness by Jimmy Rave.

Masters – He deserves it, he was able to get Big Hoyt down.

Lance Hoyt is quick to get up, and he and Rave meet in the middle of the ring. They exchange right hands, each holding their long hair. Hoyt gets chopped hard by Rave, who now runs across the ropes. Rave tries to go for a running forearm, but Hoyt catches him in air and brings him down with a spinebuster. Hoyt transitions it into a cover. 1…2… Kickout by Rave, who kicked Hoyt in the face emphatically. Hoyt rolls backwards and the two go at it again. Rave is tossed towards a corner, but he grabs the ropes to stop himself from hitting the turnbuckle. Hoyt came running at Jimmy, and Jimmy saw him coming, and tripped Lance onto the middle turnbuckle. Rave backs up and runs towards Hoyt. Rave jumps and dropkicks Hoyt in the back of the head, sandwiching him between the turnbuckle and Rave’s boots. Jimmy starts to kick Hoyt’s head, and moves him over to choke him on the middle rope. The ref calls for a break, and after a count of 4, Rave finally backed away. Right as the ref pushed him back, he runs right at Rave again and jumps over the rope, snapping the throat of Hoyt hard across the middle rope.

Rave got back in the ring, and he covers Hoyt. 1…2… Kickout by Hoyt. Rave pulls Hoyt up by the hair, and brings him to a seated position. Rave runs against the ropes and attempts a running knee strike. Hoyt avoids it, and Rave keeps on running, against the opposite set of ropes. Hoyt is quick to get up, and he catches Rave and brings him down with a sidewalk slam. Rave staggers to his feet, holding his back. Lance Hoyt grabs Rave by the waist, and brings Rave overhead with a German suplex. Hoyt bridges over, and locks the face of Rave, and proceeds to drop him down with an inverted DDT. Hoyt makes his way to the apron, and he awaits Jimmy Rave’s rising. Rave gets up eventually, and Hoyt comes flying into the ring. Hoyt damages Rave with a slingshot clothesline, and he follows up with a cover. 1…2… Rave kicked out, and Hoyt goes to a corner, and scales a turnbuckle. Hoyt flies off, and flips over with a moonsault, but Rave moved out of the way. Hoyt saw it coming, and landed on his feet. Rave bounces off of the middle turnbuckle, and attempts a DDT to Hoyt. Lance got caught, but he uses his power to stay on his feet. He brings Rave up, then back down stomach first with a Gordbuster. Hoyt stands in a corner, and calls for the Boot from Hell.

Malenko – This looks like Hoyt has the advantage, Rave won’t get up if he goes that far with Hoyt.

Simon – Jimmy Rave still probably has a trick up his sleeve, I wouldn’t count him out, especially with Prince Nana at his corner.

Rave gets up, and Hoyt comes running at full speed at him. Hoyt gets his foot up for the big boot, but Rave rolled under it, and avoided the big move by the big man. Hoyt’s leg gets caught between the middle and top ropes. Rave capitalizes quickly, spinning Hoyt around and spitting in his face. Rave hooks the leg of the standing Hoyt, attempting the Ghanarhea. Hoyt battles out, and picks Rave up on his shoulders. He yells for the Texas Tornado Slam, but Rave fell out of it, landing behind Hoyt. Rave kicks the back of Hoyt, but Big Lance didn’t feel it, and he turned around. Hoyt picks up Rave by the throat, going for a chokeslam. Rave blocks the attempt, pulling Hoyt’s big hand away from his throat. Rave runs against the ropes and he springboards off the middle ropes, he doesn’t hit a move, and Hoyt looks surprised. Rave used it as a trap, and gouges the eye of Hoyt. Jimmy tries to follow up with a DDT attempt. Hoyt countered with a bog Northern Light overhead throw. Rave landed right on his ass, and he’s sliding all over the ring. Hoyt picks him up and grabs him from behind, trying to setup what could be the finish of the match. Rave tries to battle out with elbows, but Hoyt shrugs them off. Rave used his final tactic, low blowing Lance Hoyt with his boot as the ref was looking at their arms. Hoyt falls to the ground, and he’s open to any move, holding his stomach in pain. Jimmy Rave locks in the Heel Hook! Lance Hoyt is in the middle of the ring, but has nothing else to do but tap out.

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – Here is your winner, Jimmy Rave!

Malenko – Jimmy Rave got Lance Hoyt down there, and he’s going on into the ladder war.

Simon – It was a dirty tactic, but in the ladder match, that’s going to be legal.
Masters – That’s what Jimmy has to do. With Prince Nana in that match, he’s my favorite.

D’Angelis – The following contest is a singles match, qualifying for the Three Way Match on May 17th! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 30 minute time limit!

It’s a Fight hits, and Scorpio Sky walks to the ring with a serious look on his face, with Larry Sweeney talking on his headset in front of him. They get booed by the crowd.

D’Angelis – Making his way to the ring, from The City of Angels, accompanied by Larry Sweeney, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 192 pounds, Scorpio Sky!

Larry Sweeney and Scorpio get into the ring, and Sweeney grabs the microphone out of the hands of Steven D’Angelis.

Larry_Sweeney3.jpg

Sweeney – Boy, am I excited. Scorpio Sky, this could be your last match here in Pro Wrestling PRIDE. If you lose, your little friends Joey Ryan and Scott Lost will be gone from here too. It’ll open the doors for me to get bigger, stronger, and faster wrestlers. I could get a Kurt Angle wrestling for me, and even maybe someone up in the WWE. You never know man, I could get anyone. Scorpio, but if you win, you automatically qualify for the lightweight title. Once you win that title, oooh, you will get the perks. I will help shoot you, Joey Ryan and Lost straight to the top of this company. Tonight, you have El Generico, the Generic Luchadore. El Generico, a Mexican jumping bean under a mask. I don’t like him, the kids chant Ole, and I don’t like that. And I want you to beat him Sweet and Sour Style baby, and save your ass right here tonight.

Ole plays, and the fans sing along to the song. El Generico busts through the curtain, and runs to the ring. He runs around ringside, slapping hands with the fans and yelling his trademark phrase, Ole. He slides into the ring and Scorpio Sky starts to attack him.

SkyvsGenerico.jpg

Scorpio Sky vs El Generico

*Bell Rings*

Scorpio Sky continues his attack on Generico through the bell, using Generico’s cape to choke him. The ref immediately calls for him to let go. 1…..2…..3….. Sky lets go, and El Generico falls to his back. Generico is able to slide off his cape while he was down. Sky gets back on Generico and stomps on him. He uses the ropes to bring himself up and drop his leg onto Generico. El Generico is forced out of the ring by Sky. Larry Sweeney comes at Generico, and mocks him, speaking fast and distracting Generico. Scorpio Sky jumps out of the ring with a plancha to Generico, but Generico moves out of the way. Sky brings Larry Sweeney down accidentally. Sky is up, and he has a stunned look on his face. El Generico stands on the apron, and rallies the crowd. Scorpio Sky tries to help Larry Sweeney to his feet, not looking at Generico. Sweeney and Sky finally get up, and Sweeney looks upset, wiping the dirt off of his brown suit. El Generico runs off of the apron, hitting Sky and Sweeney with an apron body block. Both men were brought down hard by the move. El Generico gets up and chants Ole, running around the ringside area, soaking up the crowd’s energy.

Simon – The crowd is all behind El Generico tonight, they’re all chanting Ole right now.

Masters – They’ll change their mind when Scorpio Sky and Larry Sweeney beat his ass.

El Generico picks Scorpio up and places him on the apron. Generico slides into the ring, and Sky is just getting up. Generico hooks Scorpio in for a suplex to get him in the ring. Scorpio breaks out of it and shoulder blocks Generico in the stomach. Scorpio jumps over the ropes and nails Generico with a sunset flip into the ring. Generico rolls backwards and runs against the ropes, to avoid getting pinned. He tries to dropkick the seated Scorpio, but he moves out of the way. Both of these men get up to their feet and stand parallel, and the fans applaud. Generico runs at Scorpio, but he moves out of the way. Scorpio grabs the running Generico by the waist and brings him down with a waistlock takedown. Scorpio runs against the ropes and baseball kicks the left side of Generico’s head. Sky stands up after the move, and taunts the crowd by flexing. Generico grabs Sky by the legs and rolls him up for a quick cover. 1…2… Sky rolled back, and he pins the grounded Generico. 1…2… El Generico kicked out, and Scorpio Sky locks in a half crab, slowing down the match intentionally.

Generico rolled over to bring himself out of the hold, and to bring Scorpio to the mat on his back. Generico runs against the ropes, and he connects with a running senton. He rolls back to a standing position quick, and springboards against the ropes. He flies through the air and lands on Scorpio with a springboard moonsault. Generico covers. 1…2… Kickout. Generico brings Scorpio to a standing position, and goes behind him, tying him up in a pumphandle. Sky gets brought up, but he locks his legs to the head of Generico, and starts to spin. They spin for a few seconds, and Scorpio Sky finally brings Generico over with a headscissors. The Generic Luchadore flips over, landing back first on the bottom turnbuckle. Scorpio Sky runs towards the corner, and dropkicks the cornered man. Sky grabs both legs of El Generico, going for an Alley Oop Bomb. Generico kicks Scorpio away, and back to the middle of the ring. Generico stands on the middle rope, and flies off. He tries to DDT Scorpio to the mat, but Scorpio caught him, and gets him with an inverted atomic drop. Scorpio then kicks Generico with a step up enziguiri to the side of the head, making Generico fall forward to the mat. He finishes off the combo by flipping over and nailing the limp Generico with a standing moonsault.

Masters – I told you Scorpio was someone to watch.

Malenko – But he’s not following up, I have no clue what he’s doing right now.

Scorpio Sky mocks El Generico when he gets up, and he flexes his muscles. Scorpio goes to the apron, and he stomps on the apron, yelling at Generico to get up. Generico finally does, and Scorpio tries to fly in and hit the Generic Luchadore with a seated senton. El Generico sees the flying Scorpio, and catches him in a powerbomb position, and starts spinning around. Generico finally brings the dizzy Scorpio Sky down with a powerbomb. Generico rolls Scorpio up for a cover. 1…2… Scorpio got his shoulder up, and rolls backwards to avoid more Generico offense. Generico brings Scorpio to his feet, and holds him by the leg and shoulders, and attempts an exploder suplex. Scorpio counters with a jawbreaker, bringing Generico backwards. Scorpio runs at Generico, and he goes for a jumping clothesline. Generico does the Matrix, and avoids the move. Generico bounces against the ropes, and gets Scorpio Sky with a running dropkick right to the chest of El Generico, sending Scorpio Sky leaning to a corner.

Malenko – This could be the Ole kick coming up right now, Generico is getting ready.

Simon – Scorpio Sky could be done right now, we could see his great combo.

Scorpio Sky is in the corner, and El Generico looks ready to hit a move. He yells Ole, and he runs around the ring, and the fans chant along with him. Generico runs towards the corner now, and he hits the Ole Kick to the face of Scorpio Sky. Generico hooks Scorpio in, holding his leg, setting up for a Cradle DDT out of the corner. He brings Scorpio down, and bridges into a cover. 1…2… Scorpio got his leg on the ropes. El Generico, looking tired, climbs up to the top rope. He attempts a corkscrew moonsault, but Scorpio Sky moved out of the way. El Generico hit the mat hard, and he’s holding his ribs. Scorpio Sky throws Generico against the ropes, going for something big. Sky grabs him for the Final Answer, but Generico blocks the attempt, going for a Brainbuster. Scorpio Sky gets out of it, and both run against the ropes now. Scorpio gets the advantage, gouging Generico’s eye. He brings him up, and Scorpio Sky hits the Final Answer! Scorpio Sky covers…
1…2…3!

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – Here is your winner, Scorpio Sky!

Larry Sweeney gets in the ring and celebrates with Scorpio Sky after his victory. They make fun of Generico, and intermission starts.

Lena – I’m here with Jack Evans and Julius Smokes. Jack, later tonight you’ll be taking on Elijah Burke for a spot in the 6 Man Ladder Match for the PRIDE International Title. Do you think you can beat Mr. 4-Up?

Julius Smokes speaks for Jack.

JuliusSmokes.jpg

Smokes – Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, you know that Jack Evans is ready, girl. Have you seen this man wrestle? No, he doesn’t wrestle, he defies, this man innovates. This is Jack Evans, the man from the Heavens, and he’s here to show all you playa haters what the future of wrestling is. No, it’s not f’n mat wrestling or goddamn punches to the face like Elijah Burke, the future of wrestling are ♂♂♂♂♂s like my man Jack, JTG and the Human Tornado. The Vulture Squad is taking over PRIDE, you’ve gotta know that we’re what’s hood. Yeah, yeah, yeah, baby, VS for life.

Jack_Evans3.jpg

Jack Evans – Tonight, Elijah Burke will know what we’re all about. Elijah Burke is nothing but a fake, tryin’ to call himself a playa. But we the real playas right here in the VS. That cat Elijah calls himself the Elijah Experience, but tonight it’s all about Evans, call it the Evans Experience. I’ll take him to space and back again, because that’s how we do right here in Philly. And you know this…..man!

The camera shows the middle of the ring now.

D’Angelis – The following contest is a singles match, scheduled for one fall, under a 30 minute time limit!

Is Anybody Home plays through the speakers, and Cody Rhodes walks to the ring, with Paul Burchill, getting cheered by the fans.

Paul Burchill gets in the ring and grabs the microphone from D’Angelis. He begins to talk.

Paul_Burchill6.jpg

Burchill – MVP, last week, you were too scared to wrestle me, so you had your little henchman Elijah Burke do the dirty work. You turned the tables on me, so this week, I will do the same to you. Oh you will wrestle tonight MVP, and so will Shelton Benjamin. Because right now, we’re going to have ourselves a tag team match. It’ll be Shelton Benjamin and MVP, taking on Cody Rhodes, and me Paul Burchill. And I already talked to Ricky Steamboat, and he said if you don’t wrestle tonight, you can’t wrestle on the May 17th show.

Burchill grabs the mic out of Burchill’s hands and replies.

MVP7.jpg

MVP – You know what Paul, you’ve got your match. You’re going to regret planning this match, because I’m going to show you what the New Nation can do to punks like you.

Tag Team Match

Cody Rhodes & Paul Burchill vs Shelton Benjamin & MVP

*Bell Rings*

Paul Burchill and Shelton Benjamin start off the match with a lock up. Burchill gets the better of Benjamin by putting him in a wristlock. Shelton rolls over to get out of the hold and gain control. He locks Burchill in a headlock, and Paul tries to push him away to the ropes. Shelton still holds on tight, not wanting to let go of the head of Burchill. Shelton still has Burchill in the side headlock, and Burchill wriggles out of it, putting Shelton currently in a hammerlock. Shelton brings it out into a wristlock, and he rolls out, and gets up. Shelton brings Paul Burchill to the mat with a wristlock takeover. Shelton starts to put the pressure on Burchill, starting to stomp at the arm that was just taken down. Shelton drags Burchill to his corner, and tags in MVP. The two members of the New Nation start stomping at Burchill, who’s seated in the corner. MVP drives his knee into the face of Paul with knee thrusts. MVP backs up, and taunts to the fans. He finishes his gloating and runs towards Burchill. MVP fakes a move, and he tags in Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin slingshots into the ring with a dropkick that hit Burchill right in the face. Benjamin drags Burchill away from the corner and he pins. 1… Burchill kicked out at 1, and Shelton brings Burchill right back up. Shelton unleashes some right hand chops to Burchill’s chest, sending him backwards. Burchill leans against a rope, and Shelton runs against the opposite side. Shelton goes for a flying forearm, but Burchill moved out of the way. Benjamin was able to catch himself on the ropes, avoiding falling flat to the mat. But before Shelton could turn his attention to Burchill, Paul starts to chop Shelton, and proceed with punches, a combo. Benjamin duck sunder a discus forearm attempt, and throws Burchill against the ropes. Cody Rhodes got the blind tag as Burchill was running, and Burchill gets stopped by Benjamin. Shelton goes for a belly to belly suplex, but it’s countered into a forward kneebreaker by Burchill. Benjamin hops around the ring, as Cody gets in, running at Benjamin. He hits a hard clothesline, and he runs against the ropes for another move. But as he was running, MVP grabbed him in the middle of the ropes and forced his neck backwards, pushing it back against the top rope.

Simon – That neck snap really looked painful, it’s already cause lots of damage.

Malenko – It sets up perfectly for all the moves Benjamin and MVP do.

MVP keeps Rhodes there as Benjamin regains his composure. Benjamin sees an opportunity and runs towards MVP and Rhodes. He jumps up and drops both knees to the exposed chest of Rhodes, snapping his neck hard against the ropes and bringing him to the mat with both his knees. Shelton covers. 1…2… Paul Burchill comes into the ring and breaks up the cover. Benjamin stands up and faces Paul Burchill. They start to yell at each other, and start to punch their faces at the same time. Benjamin is sent back by Burchill’s strikes, and MVP taps his back for the tag. The ref calls for Burchill to back up, because Benjamin is cornered. Burchill backs up, and MVP gets into the ring, hitting Burchill with a big clothesline as the ref told him to get back into his corner. Cody Rhodes is up and MVP changes his focus to him. MVP grabs Cody by the head and brings his knees up to Cody’s head with knee lifts. MVP has Rhodes locked in for a suplex. He’s brought up, but he slips out, and he runs against the ropes now. MVP tries to knock the running Cody Rhodes down with a short arm clothesline, but he rolled under the attack. MVP turns around and gets hit with a nice dropkick.

Simon – Big dropkick from Cody Rhodes, but he needs to tag in Paul Burchill right now.

Masters – He needs to find a better moveset, because he’s boring.

Cody Rhodes gets the tag in to Paul Burchill. Burchill comes in with a head of steam, running and compacting MVP with a big lariat. Shelton Benjamin flies into the ring with a springboard, but Paul Burchill catches him in mid air. He puts him on his shoulders, runs and drops Shelton down with a running Samoan drop. Burchill gets up and looks energized, but MVP, who just stood up, dropkicks Burchill’s knees, forcing him to kneel. MVP runs against the ropes and goes for the Player’s Boot. Burchill caught the leg of MVP, and he starts to stand up. Burchill still has the leg, and now he uses his other arm and grabs MVP by the waist. Burchill brings him over with a leg capture suplex, with MVP landing on his neck. MVP slides out of the ring and calls for a timeout. Burchill respects that, and he waits for MVP to recover. MVP slides back into the ring, and Paul Burchill immediately gets on him. MVP elbows the side of Burchill’s head, and he has control now. He picks Paul up and attempts a move. MVP brought his opponent down with a big spinebuster. Instead of going for the cover, MVP tags in his partner Shelton Benjamin.

Malenko – MVP and Shelton are showing that their egos aren’t too big to tag each other in the match.

Masters – Their egos should pin Paul Burchill right now, I want to see this thing done.

Benjamin gets in and starts to stomp on Burchill. He runs and bounces off of the middle turnbuckle, and drops his knee onto Paul. He covers Burchill. 1…2… Kickout by Burchill and Benjamin gets him to stand. Benjamin has him hooked for the T-Bone Suplex. Burchill gets his leg out of the grasp of Benjamin, and he holds Shelton in for the C4. Benjamin fights out, and backs up. Burchill runs back against the ropes, and he looks to hit a move. Shelton ducked a lariat attempt, and when Burchill turns around, he smashes his foot right into Burchill’s jaw with a big superkick. Shelton tags in MVP, and he calls for the finish. They pick Burchill up, and hook him in for a big move. Burchill blocks an attempt to bring him up, and he pushes Shelton off of him, focusing on MVP right now. He brings him over with a Northern Lights Suplex. Burchill stands up, and goes towards Shelton now. He boots Shelton to the mat, and he backs up. Burchill backs up, and he hits a standing shooting star press! He calls Cody Rhodes to get in the ring now. Burchill picks MVP up, and throws him against the ropes. Burchill catches him, setting up a side slam. Cody Rhodes bounced off the opposite ropes, and hits a reverse spinning elbow to the face of MVP. Burchill flips over and he hits the C4! Burchill goes for the cover, and Rhodes blocks Shelton Benjamin from breaking it up.
1…2…3!

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – Here are your winners, Paul Burchill and Cody Rhodes!

Simon – Paul Burchill just pinned MVP, let’s see what Porter has to say about that.

Malenko – MVP does not look happy right now, I think he still has something to prove.
Masters – Burchill winning doesn’t mean a thing, wait until we see them go one on one, if that ever happens.

D’Angelis – The following match is a qualifying contest for the 6 man ladder war on May 17th! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 30 minute time limit!

911 plays, and Jack Evans bursts through the curtain, with Julius Smokes standing behind him. Evans stands on his hands, and goes to the ring like that.

D’Angelis – Coming to the ring, from Jacksonville, Florida, weighing 221 pounds and standing 6 foot 1 inch tall, this is Elijah Burke!

Malenko – Earlier tonight, Jack Evans and Julius Smokes said they want to show Elijah Burke the future of wrestling.

Simon – But Elijah Burke wants to show Jack Evans four knuckles upside his head. He beat Paul Burchill last week, let’s see if he can continue his semi-hot streak.

Singles Match

Qualifying for Ladder War
Jack Evans vs Elijah Burke

*Bell Rings*

Both men stand parallel in the middle of the ring, with Burke raising his hands in a boxing stance, while Evans is bouncing from left to right foot, waiting for Burke to attack him. Burke starts swinging, but Evans backs up and laughs at Burke. Elijah comes closer to Evans and he starts to swing again. He hits Evans once, but Jack moves out of the way for an attempted second flurry. Jack Evans tells Burke that he’s too fast, and messes with Burke. He tells Burke to try to punch him, but Evans rolls out again. Evans gets to his feet and the fans clap as he throws Burke off of his game. Elijah has a very dissatisfied look on his face, and he runs towards Evans. Jack doesn’t move this time, and he kicks Elijah’s leg, and then runs against the ropes. Evans goes for a spinning wheel kick, but Burke just moves out of the way to avoid Evans. He hits the mat on his side, and Elijah Burke wants to attack him while he’s down. Burke drops his knee to the chest of Jack, and now mounts him. Burke starts to punch Evans in the face, and he tries to cover his face up. Burke swings, again and again, and he wants to knock Jack Evans out.

Malenko – That’s Burke’s specialty, punching and striking his opponent.

Masters – It’s great to see Evans down already, I really want to see Elijah take the victory tonight
.

Elijah Burke finishes his attack on Evans, and he then stands up and taunts the fans, showing them his wrist tape. He turns his attention back to Evans and picks him up. Burke pulls him up, and puts him in a wristlock. Elijah grabs him by the head and starts kicking his head with his shin repeatedly. Burke pulls Evans up so he’s fully standing, and he spins and goes for a discus punch. Evans ducked under the attempt, and stands back up, and he hits the distracted burke with a dropsault. Burke goes a few steps backwards, and Evans runs at him. Burke moved out of the way of an attack, and Evans’s throat gets draped on the top rope. Burke starts to choke him, and the ref gives him a count to break it up. Burke backs away, and Evans leans on a rope, struggling to breathe. Burke dashes at him and hits a running knee to his midsection. Burke throws Evans against the ropes now. Elijah Burke tries to bring Evans over with a back body drop, but Evans grabbed the head of Burke and countered it into a DDT, driving his head hard to the mat, and he lies face first on the mat.

Jack Evans stands over Burke, and jumps high into the air. He drops both of his knees to the back of Elijah, and he rolls him over for a cover. 1…2… Elijah got his shoulder up. Jack Evans goes to the apron, and springboards off as Elijah got up. Evans attempted a flying corkscrew clothesline. Elijah Burke moved out of the way, grabbing the right arm of Jack, and twisting it awkwardly as the rest of his body falls to the mat. Evans is lying on his back on the mat, and Burke still has his arm held. Burke places his foot on Jack’s chest, and pulls on his right arm, pulling it away from his body. Burke pulls him up by the arm, and takes him back to the mat with a deep arm drag. Burke quickly takes the arm and puts it in a Rings of Saturn type submission. Jack Evans groans in pain in the move, and he tries to reach the ropes. He uses his flexibility to move his leg to the side, just barely touching the ropes. Elijah Burke breaks it up quick, and he gets up and admires himself again. Jack Evans gets up quick, but he leans on a rope, trying to get back his composure. Burke rushes towards him, and Evans jumps up and kicks Burke with a jumping boot. Burke is leaning on a rope, and Evans backs up. He runs against the opposite rope, cartwheels and knocks Burke with a big back elbow smash, and both competitors fall out of the ring.

Simon – This is where Jack Evans does his best, the outside game, where he can use anything as a platform for him to leap.

Masters – And a platform for him to do some crappy move and only hurt himself.

Jack Evans looks pumped up, and he slides back into the ring. He stands in the middle, and yells out “Let’s Go!†He runs against the far ropes. Evans then springboards against the near ropes, and he knocks Elijah Burke back on his back with a springboard 450 splash. Both of them are down, and both look like they’re in pain. The fans chant “Holy Shit†as both Burke and Evans are down for the count. Jack Evans is the first to get up, and he leans against the guardrail, still trying to catch his breath. Elijah Burke gets up, and Jack goes into the crowd, and he waits for Elijah. Elijah is standing fully now, and Evans uses the guardrail as a springboard. He jumps, and goes for a spin kick. Elijah Burke catches him by the waist, and crotches him onto the guardrail. Elijah moves back, and tries to catch his breath. He charges towards Jack, and he hits a big lariat on him, knocking him off the guardrail. Jack landed on the back of his neck on the hard wooden floor. Elijah Burke continues his attack by running to the guardrail. He jumps and handstands on it, and he hits the Outer Limits elbow drop onto the grounded Evans.

Malenko – Elijah Burke has been able to perform well on the outside too, I’m actually surprised by that.

Simon – Jack Evans landed hard on his neck after that lariat, I don’t even know if he’s still conscious. We’ll see what Elijah will do now.

Elijah Burke slides back into the ring, and he has a smile on his face, trying to get the crowd’s reaction. The referee starts to count Jack Evans out. After a count of 7, a weakened Prince of Parkland slides back into the ring. He stands groggily near the ropes, and Burke starts to open up on him. Elijah starts to punch at him, and Burke grabs him and places him throat-first on the middle turnbuckle. He runs against the opposite rope, goes back to Evans and jumps. Elijah drops both knees onto the hung Evans. Elijah’s knees impacted the upper back and neck of Jack hard. Elijah pulls him back to the middle of the ring, and he covers. 1…2… Evans got his shoulder up, and Burke is now talking with the ref. A weak Evans pulls Burke down by the leg, rolling him up for a pinfall attempt. 1…2… Burke kicked out, and the two get up, standing parallel in the middle of the ring. Evans runs at Burke, and slides in between his legs. Evans gets up and kicks the stunned Elijah with a reverse enziguiri. Burke falls to his back and Evans hits a standing 450 Splash!

Jack Evans climbs to the top rope, and he signals the 630 Senton. He jumps off, and attempts it, but Elijah Burke moved out of the way. Jack Evans is up and holding his back and Elijah starts to attack Evans. He punches at the midsection of Evans a couple of times, and he follows those punches with a big uppercut. Evans staggers backwards, and Elijah runs at him, picks him up and drives him down with an STO. Elijah still has Jack held on, and he makes his way to his feet. Elijah has him held from behind, and he throws him over with a German suplex. Burke rolls to his feet, and he hits another German suplex. Elijah bridges up, and he stands on Jack’s side, setting up a forward Russian legsweep. Before Elijah could hit the move, Jack reversed the move into a cutter attempt. Elijah pushes Evans out of the way, and to the ropes. Burke nails Evans in the back of the head with a big dropkick, sending Evans to the corner, chest first. Elijah pulls his knee pads down, signaling the Elijah Express. Burke runs towards the cornered Evans, and he attempts the move. Before Burke could make an impact, Evans jumped up and handstands on the top turnbuckle, avoiding the Elijah Express. Burke hit the turnbuckles hard with both of his knees, and he falls back, lying on the turnbuckle. Evans gets off of the turnbuckle, and he stands on the apron. He calls for the 630. He springboards, spins, and he hits it onto Burke! A tired Evans is able to cover Elijah Burke.
1…2…3!

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – Here is your winner, Jack Evans!

Malenko – Jack Evans has just qualified for a chance to compete in the ladder war on May 17th.

Simon – And Evans will definitely thrive in the ladder match, we just saw that he can fly from anywhere around the ring.

Masters – The ladder war could kill him.
Malenko – We’re going to go backstage now, where backstage interviewer Leticia Cline is with Kevin Steen.

Leticia_Cline5.jpg

Leticia – Kevin Steen, you said that you have an announcement for everybody tonight. What is it?

KevinSteen.jpg

Steen – Leticia, it’s not really an announcement, it’s a proclamation. I’m saying to everyone that Kevin Steen is going for the gold. You see, I don’t really care about what title it is, or how I win it, gold is on my mind. After being screwed out of a title from Nigel McGuiness in ROH, I’m here in PRIDE to take what’s mine. If it’s a tag title shot with El Generico or Chuck Taylor, or a chance at the International or PRIDE Titles, I want those belts. Listen to me right now, I’m guaranteeing gold here in Pro Wrestling PRIDE.

Leticia – How do you plan on taking PRIDE gold?

Steen – It all begins next week, when I get a chance to qualify for the International title. Commissioner Ricky Steamboat already said that I’ll get a chance to be one of the 6 Men to get a chance to become the first International Champion. I really don’t give a damn about who I face, I’ll win and qualify for that match. And on May 17th, I’ll climb the ladder, grab that title and be named champion, plain and simple.

Leticia – Thanks Kevin, now back to the action.

Mama Said Knock You Out hits, and Samoa Joe walks through the curtain, and he goes to the ring, getting a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance.

Miseria Cantare blasts through the speakers, and after a few seconds, CM Punk steps onto the entrance stage. He grabs a microphone and speaks to Samoa Joe.

Punk – You know what Samoa Joe, I know that you’ve been scheming, strategizing and training your ass off for our match on the 17th. But tonight, I’m going to throw you off of your game. So tonight, my tag team partner is none other than Classic Colt Cabana.

Copa Cabana plays, and Colt Cabana walks to the ring, singing along to his entrance theme and dancing. He stands by CM Punk’s side.

Joe – You’re the most predictable person I’ve ever seen Punk, I knew that you would pick Cabana since the day the match was announced. It’s kind of fitting though, because Cabana and the man I picked have had their battles before. You two had better be scared, because my tag team partner for tonight is the Notorious 187 Homicide.

The Truth Iron side echoes through the Murphy Rec Center, and Homicide stands on the entrance stage, soaking the crowd’s mixed reaction. He stands next to Samoa Joe, and Steven D’Angelis announces the next match to the fans.

D’Angelis – This is the main event of the evening. It is a tag team match, scheduled for one fall, under a 30 Minute time limit! In the corner to my right, weighing in at a combined weight of 515 pounds, Samoa Joe and Homicide! Their opponents, in the corner to my left, weighing in at a combined weight of 455 pounds, CM Punk and Colt Cabana!

The two men get to their feet, and stare each other down.

Malenko – A nice preview of their rematch, and a repeat of their previous match, with both men at a draw.

Simon – But tonight, both of them have someone they know well to tag to, to keep themselves fresh and get time to rest.

Instead of facing off again, CM Punk and Samoa Joe tag in their partners. Cabana and Homicide circle each other. Homicide wants to be aggressive, and he lunges at the legs of Colt. He pulls him down with a single leg takedown. Homicide turns Cabana onto his stomach, and puts him in a headlock. Cabana fights to his feet, and escapes the headlock with a back suplex. He throws him over with a big exploder suplex, sending Cabana out of the corner and into the middle of the ring.

Simon – There’s the power of Samoa Joe, he’s arguably one of the strongest guys here in PRIDE.

Masters – But not as strong as the man that’s sitting right next to you.

Malenko – That wouldn’t be you Chris, because ever since you stopped juicing, you’ve been as weak as a diva.

Samoa Joe pulls Cabana to his knees, and he runs against the ropes. Joe goes for a boot to the side of the head, but Cabana dropped down, tripping the big Samoa Joe. Colt Cabana runs against the ropes and baseball slides the side of the grounded Samoa Joe. Homicide comes in and tries to save his tag partner, but Colt Cabana sees him and elbows him on the head, sending him backwards. Cabana clotheslines him out of the ring. Samoa Joe pulls Cabana to the middle of the ring and drops his knee onto Cabana. Samoa Joe has a cocky look on his face, and he tags in Homicide.

Homicide waits eagerly on the apron for Colt Cabana to get up. Cabana slowly gets to his feet, and Homicide springboards. He goes for a springboard clothesline, but Cabana moved out of the way. Homicide lands on his knees, and Cabana runs towards the corner. He scales to the top rope. Samoa Joe quickly knocks him off of his feet, and Colt gets crotched on the top turnbuckle. Homicide is back up and hoes to the middle rope, and has Cabana set up for a superplex attempt. Cabana pushes him away before he could initiate the move, and climbs back to his feet. Joe tries to knock him off the ropes again. Colt kicks him in the face, knocking him off of the apron. Cabana flies off of the turnbuckle, and he connects with a missile dropkick to Homicide. Cabana rolls to his corner and tags in CM Punk. Punk and Homicide face off, and Punk hits several strikes to Homicide. Cide comes back with hard forearms, knocking Punk to his knees. He kicks Punk hard in the chest, and runs against the ropes. Homicide delivers with a shining wizard to Punk, and he covers. 1…2… CM Punk got his shoulder up.

Masters – Homicide needs to finish Punk off now, he wants to look good against a PRIDE Title Contender.

Malenko – Wow, you actually said something semi smart right there.

Homicide brings CM Punk up to his feet. He hooks both the arms of Punk, setting a butterfly suplex. CM Punk blocks the move by pushing Homicide to the corner. Punk backs up, and runs towards Homicide. He connects with the running knee strike, and grabs Homicide’s head for the bulldog out of the corner. CM Punk has him held, but Homicide pushes CM Punk away to avoid the move. Homicide charges at full speed at Punker, and he knocks him to the mat with a very stiff lariat. Homicide calls for Joe to come in, and they go on the offensive. Homicide first knocks Colt Cabana out of the ring with a big tackle on the apron. Punk is put into a full nelson by Homicide, and the Notorious 187 brings Punk to the mat with a Full Nelson Bomb. Punk is seated, and Joe and Cide want to capitalize. They kick Punk in the back and chest individually, and they then sandwich him with stereo stiff kicks. Homicide runs against the ropes and knocks Punk to his back with a dropkick. Joe jumps high and drops his knee onto the chest of CM Punk. The ref tells him to get back to his corner, and he obeys, not wanting to get disqualified.

Simon – Great double team work by Joe and Homicide, they just knocked Punk out of breath with that last flurry.

Malenko – But Samoa Joe needs to get back to his corner now, he doesn’t want to forfeit the match by default.

Homicide covers Punk. 1…2… Punk got his shoulder up. Cide has Punk up and sets up the Cop Killa. Before Cide could bring Punk upside down, Punk got out of it. Punk hooks both arms of Homicide, and brings him down with the double underhook backbreaker. Punk calls Cabana to get in and attack Joe. He listens and tries to knock Joe off of the apron. Samoa Joe jumps off to avoid the attack. Samoa Joe looks at the crowd with a cocky stare. Colt Cabana stands on the outside apron, setting up a springboard move. Samoa Joe turns around and Cabana goes flying. He knocks Joe off of his feet with an Asai moonsault. In the ring, CM Punk just knocked Homicide back down with a flying springboard forearm. Punk stands up, and scouts Homicide up for the Go 2 Sleep. Homicide gets up, and Punk puts him on his shoulders. Homicide got out of it, and he runs against the ropes. He tries to hit a stunned Punk with an Ace Crusher, but Punk pushed him out of the way, and against the ropes. Cide comes back to the middle of the ring, and CM Punk gets him on his shoulders for a second time. CM Punk drops Homicide down, and he hits the Go 2 Sleep! CM Punk covers Homicide for a pin.
1…2…3!

D’Angelis – Here are your winners, CM Punk and Colt Cabana!

Malenko – CM Punk and Colt Cabana pick up the victory tonight, showing Samoa Joe and Homicide what could happen on May 17th.

Simon – Colt Cabana and Homicide performed pretty well as short notice partners for each side.
Malenko – True, but when it all came down to it, CM Punk was the one who got the cover, hitting the GTS on the Notorious 187.
Simon – Thank you for watching this showing of Pro Wrestling PRIDE, join us next week for another big show!

A highlight video plays to a song by 30 Seconds to Mars. The credits roll after the showing of the video.

BM: CM Punk/Cabana vs Homicide/Joe. Good back and forth match and with a perfect ending, giving Punk the win but not making Joe take the pinfall.

WM: None

BP: The Age of the Fall one. I just love the sense of shoot all of their promos have. I was surprised with the wrestlers you choose to be Team Pride, and I loved how Foley/Steamboat showed who are in charge by forcing them to wrestle on the debut's show on MTV, which by the way I agree with everything AOTF said about it.

WP: If I have to select one, the exchange between MVP/Burchill by its lenght, but with all and all it was good.

AC: Great show, you made seem the debut MTV a big deal, I would have liked something during the show of Punk or Joe before their exchange, maybe an interview or something, but it was good. Good work with the building of the AOFT/Management feud. I will be reviewing.

BM: Shleton/MVP Vs Cody/Burchill or Second City Saints/Joe and Homicide, both were equally amazing
WM: Scorpio Sky/El Generico, good match but still wors, you used some good heelish tactics for Sky
BP: The opener, it was mixture of good heelness, seriousness and comedy all rolled together and I really enjoyed it. Gotta love what they said about Tomko.
WP: As CMS, said MP/Burchill, it was short but nonetheless it still done what it was there to do.
Add. Comments: Great show, you style of writing is unique and I like that and your promo's are very easy to get into and were very enjoyable.

BM: I liked both the main event and Shelton/MVP Vs Rhodes and Burchill. The El Generico/Scorpio Sky match was also quite good, too bad El Generico lost lol.

WM: I would have to say none, they were all at a good standard.

BP: The Age of the falls opening Promo was really good and funny! lol, you dissed Billy Kidman.

WP: N/A they all worked out how they should have.

AF: Great Show, I like how you write and the planning of your show, your fueds are good, roster is awesome and ladder war qualifiers are good. I will keep reviewing

Best Promo: Opening promo- No doubt the most exciting promo of the show. I wasn't really expecting Foley and Steamboat to have Team PRIDE up their sleeves cause quite honestly I thought the legends themselves would fight the AOTF. A nice turn of events after the weeks of beatings they've been receiving from the AOTF. I'm really watching out for this feud.

Worst Promo: N/A

Best Match: Main Event - The main event was just awesome. A nice sneak peak for May,17th. Having Colt by Punk's side and Cide by Joe's was a nice idea especially with their histories with each other. Not only the feud of Cide and Colt but also their feud and partnerships with Punk and Joe in the past. Excellent booking in you're part. The match was very unpredictable and having Punk pin Homicide rather than Joe or vice versa was a nice idea as well.

Worst Match: N/A

Additional: Great show once again my friend. I'm really far behind with DZW and reading you're shows just inspires me to continue writing by btb. The show was excellent and the feuds are really heating up. I'm really looking forward for the television debut of PRIDE cause I'm sure the feuds will just explode in that show. Nice job and keep doing what you're doing man. Will be reviewing you're next shows.

Best Match: Joe/Homicide and Punk/Cabana are really great. What a hype before their match at the first televised show on MTV.

Worst Match: n/a

Best Promo: The opener made some heat and I do really liked to see them in action on May 17th against Team Pride. Plus, I can't imagine Tomko as a face lol...

Worst Promo: n/a

Additional Feedbacks: Your first televised show is going to be great. The feud between the Commisioners and the AOTF is really interesting and so does Punk/Joe. Who will be the first Pride Champion? I am checking out your next show.

Best Match: Joe Homicide and Colt Punk was a good match but I really liked The Burke Evans one because honestly I like Evans and that was the first time I have ever read a BTB match with him... Good job mate...
Best promo: The Opener nuff Said...
Worst Match: All were good.. But If I MUST choose one.. I will choose Rave and Hoyt because it was the shortest...

BM: The main event, although the Burke-Evans match was a very close second
BP: Opening promo with the MTV diss and the cheap pop from Foley.
WM: None
WP: None
Additional: I like the indy wrestling feel of this. It's gonna be interesting when Pride goes on Television and who the Pride Champion will be.

BM : Well, I'll go for Burke vs Evans, I'm a big fan of him and seeinh him going over Burke like this in a great matchis good. The ladder match will be extraordonary ! Hoyt/ Rave was good too, nice to see Rave wins

WM : It was very good, but I wasnt into it, it's Burchill, rhodes vs Benjamin, MVP, Just like i said in your last show, I'm not into this feud.

BP : The opening one...that's was incredible, the "against the system" thing is very well written, it was a great build up to the match, it was huge, I really can't wait for this match now, that means the segment worked..

WP : Probably Burchill/MVP before their match, for the same reasisons I said.

AC : another great show, you're still incredible at writing matches, but the opening promo was THE segment of the show. Congrats
