Great show , I don't follow much of your work but this week was good.
Also if you like check out one of my shows.

BM - Main Event very good, and good back and forth action not a dull moment which I like.
WM - None,
BP - All were good but Mick Foley was really good at the top of the show with him being in character helps here too.
WP - None..

Age of Fall promo: LOL on Smith bagging Tomko for steroids when Smith has been suspended in the past for breaking the wellness policy. Imo the Jacobs bit was the best. You have channelled his inner emo lol.

Smith vs Tomko: Some nice chain wrestling in there, and it did enter the brawl faze for a while. The match was good length wise, and everything flowed relatively well. Good to see the people on the outside actually do something.

Foley promo: The exchanges with Jacobs reminded me a lot of the Edge/Foley exchanges. I’m guessing that is what inspired you. It was an awesome promo to say the least, although Necro doesn’t really fit in with the emoes lol.

VIP Lounge: Nice promo, and I like that Regal brought up Burchill’s pat. MVP was pretty damn in character, and Burchill just played the usual face role. Very nice.

Six Man Gauntlet: I thought it was going to be over the top rope, but it was WWE style gauntlet. The match flowed pretty well, and I am extremely surprised that you had Dykstra pick up the win. I am interested to see what you have in store for him now.

Second City Saints: LOL! This promo is kickass. Colt just as he should be at his comedic best. So many good damn lines. Oh and btw, this review is true thuganomics yall. Word life.

Matt Sydal vs Rocky Romero: You used Sydal’s fast pace really well whenever he went on offense. I really thought he would win, just seemed right.

Strong Style Thugs: Joe talking the smack lol. You truly do make them come off as thugs, but then again, that is Homicide. Not a bad promo, and it keeps building hype to the big six man tag match.

Fatal Four Way Tag: Well since MCMG got the pin, I sense doom for them in the survival gauntlet . I think you used the eight men well, and even though the New Nation are orced to enter first, I like their chances for some reason.

Six Man Tag: Really good match, but I’m surprised you got Punk to make Joe tap. I would have thought he would have beaten B-Boy. Doesn’t matter, as it was a great match. Poor Colt, getting punished for having fun...

BM: Main event, six man tag.
WM: n/a
BP: Second City Saints = comic genius
WP: n/a
AC: Great show man, I really love the way you write your promos. Matches are just as good too. This BTB has an awesome future.

AOTF promo: Agreed with BKB, I laughed at the irony of Smith talking about roids when he was a consumer. The promo got to his point.{

Tomko vs Smith: Didn't expect that kind of wrestling from Tomko, but it got over as a good match and with Tomko winning it even the score.

Foley situation: It was just a matter of time before that happened, before Foley got into the match. Necro Butcher is thought to be the next Foley so it would be an interesting match up, and now with the condition that the losers are fired from PRIDE, then it will be a hell of a match.

VIP Lounge: Shocked about Regal actually coming in, but he had a nice change with Burchill. MVP classic coward leaving the ring was great and he was in character in every moment

Six Man Gauntlet: Good match, it was nice to see that you gave everyone a chance and to have a good time inside the match. Ken Dykstra to me is a good choice.

Second City Saints promo: Good comedy by Cabana, focuseness by Punk and seriousness by Ace Steel, everybody got his condition over. Great one.

Sydal vs Romero: I liked how the pace changed depending on who was on the offense, Matt winning again was a good decision.

Strong Style Thugs: I just love your Joe promos. Hell, I even ripped them off a little on my past show. Great counterpart for the SSC.

Fatal Four Way Tag: I would have preferred MCMG to lose this match, setting him up as sympathetic babyfaces and winning the match, I now think Burke and Benjamin will win that match by getting back at MCMG.

Main Event: I was expecting this, Punk getting back at Samoa Joe and now both have passed out during one another's submission hold. I wonder what will happen next week.

PS: Next week, I wanna hear a rant of AOTF about how Britney Spear is singing the theme song for Uprising

Best Match: Main Event six man tag, it was a great match, last week CM Punk tapped, this week Punk got his revenge and made Joe pass out...I was hoping Joe would make Punk tap out twice in a row lol.

Worst Match: None.

Best Angle: Second City Saints backstage...I found it funny, and the segment where Jimmy Jacobs finally forces Foley to agree to the match.

Worst Angle: None.

Line of the Night: "Fine, let’s just go to the ring with baggy pants to our knees and a do rag, because we need to make fun of the Strong Style Thugs, right? Right? Come on guys, let’s do it."

Additional Thoughts: Nothing to complain about at all man. I really loved your promos, especially the Foley/Jacobs segment, it was great to see how Jacobs eventually got under Foley's skin, and his promo about Mick's family was great, very well done. The VIP Lounge was also a pretty good segment, it put Burchill over and made him look strong. No, I didnt forget about the matches. I loved all of them, especially the main event. I liked how CM Punk tapped last week to Joe, but this week Joe was the one tapping out. The build up to this match earlier in the show was awesome, and the match itself delivered.

Overall rating: 9.5/10 = Superb

BM: Main Event, Joe tapping to Punk is great, I can pretty much see what's building here, but I will wait and see.

WM: N/A

BP: Second City Saint's one, and Mick Foley's

WP: N/A

AC: Really enjoyed this show, but the main event stole the whole show IMO. Thanks for the review BTW.

PRIDE Preview for 5/9/08

PRIDEBanner.jpg

-This week, Pro Wrestling PRIDE will come to you on a special Friday matinee show.

-This is the last regular show before the big MTV Special, Uprising.

-The following matches have been signed for Friday afternoon.

Pick Your Poison Challenge
-This week, CM Punk and Samoa Joe need some tuning up before their big match on Saturday the 17th. Commissioners Mick Foley and Ricky Steamboat announced a pick your poison challenge, where both men select an opponent for their rival. The opponent can be anyone from the PRIDE Roster. Both CM Punk and Samoa Joe are seeking to make the most out of this, trying to soften up their opponent for an easy win. Will Punk or Joe fall victim to their opponent's secret weapons?

The Untamed vs the New Nation
-Paul Burchill and MVP are scheduled to go at it on the 17th, and the week before, all the members of their squads are going at it. Who will have the right to say they have the superior squad? Will this affect the Burchill and MVP match in Manhattan?

Jimmy Jacobs vs BJ Whitmer
-Last week, Mick Foley and Necro Butcher joined the elimination deathmatch scheduled for Uprising. Also, Tomko gained a huge win after beating the AOTF's Harry Smith. And this week, an old rivalry is rekindled. Former friends and tag partners BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs will go at it. Last year in ROH, they had a brutal feud, where both men suffered major injuries. Will things be as brutal?

Joey Ryan & Scott Lost vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs Chuck Taylor & El Generico
-In the final tuneup for the tag team survival match, three very exciting teams will go at it. Joey Ryan and Scott Lost have been constantly receiving tough motivation from leader Larry Sweeney, who urges them to win the gold. The Aerial Assault and Team EGO are looking to pick up another victory to make themselves favorites in the match.

-Join us this Friday for more PRIDE action, the calm before the big show Uprising!

(OOC - I won't be able to post on Saturday because I'll be going to an ROH show on Saturday [Be Jealous] and I'll be out all day.)

=====================
(Never really posted a backstory, so I decided to make one up recently. So here is the story of Pro Wrestling PRIDE. It'll be edited into the first post.)

During the summer of 2007, the wrestling business as a whole was in shambles. The recent controversial deaths of the Benoit family and the continued tragedies of ECW Alumni had taken a toll on all involved with wrestling and sports entertainment. Now companies encountered serious scrutiny from the government, trying to crack down on steroids and drugs in the sport. The WWE suffered the worst summer and overall 3 months in its entire history, with stocks plummeting. They were able to rebound during August with strong Pay per Views and media interviews to gain a considerable amount of respect. But also that summer, the winds had also changed for WWE as a brand. Vince McMahon and his wife Linda chose to step down from their executive positions in the company. Their children Shane and Stephanie took over the business and entertainment aspects of the company respectively. Shane McMahon did a wonderful job, bringing in renewed interest in the WWE. But with her husband at her side, Stephanie McMahon chose to bring a new attitude to Raw, Smackdown, and ECW. ECW became known as Velocity, and it truly became a home for undercard nobodies. Young stars such as CM Punk, MVP, Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin were released in favor of older veterans to take time up on television. Triple H successfully used himself to become a 12 time champion before the end of summer, and the Nature Boy Ric Flair was forced to watch on the sidelines. Younger superstars like John Cena and Randy Orton watched the King reign supreme over all of their careers.

In the young company TNA, things seemed to be going well. New stars from WWE and WCW were coming in and helping the cause, and TNA had finally made a large profit due to their success. Head booker Vince Russo used the familiar faces in all of his matches and all the title matches, which proved to be a hit with the fans. But the younger members of the roster had nowhere to go, and no way to get noticed. They begged and pleaded with officials to let them work for independent promotions, and the wish was granted. The younger stars now had the option to work for any promotion they wanted, and only if they showed up to Impact tapings on a regular basis.

The independent scene in America had never seen more success. Several promotions were now getting nationwide attention and helped wrestling gain more respect. Legends were made in the stars of the company, and they were soon known as common names. ROH had reached a PPV deal, and the world was buzzing. They proved to be successful, and all promotions thrived from the newfound success of the east coast promotion.

In the winter of 2007, a mysterious, secretive man only known as the Entity appeared on the scene. Unknown to many, he was seen as a mystery. Many thought the mysterious figure was Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff or even Vincent Kennedy McMahon himself. The Entity sought out several stars of all 3 major American outlets, trying to develop a wrestling product like none other. He traveled all across America and scouted all that he could. He signed several wrestlers to open contracts, assembling a very diverse roster. The Entity sought to create the mix of athleticism and entertainment that all were craving for. By January 2008, all the work was done, and The Entity finally called his new soldiers together. He showed everyone, still under a disguise, the plan and mission of his new promotion. He called his new promotion PRIDE, not being scared of the past and not hiding from the light of the future. In less than a year, wrestling had changed. Though not many had been expecting it, Pro Wrestling PRIDE had come to make an impact.

The Elks Lodge

Queens, NY

The Pro Wrestling PRIDE Logo flashes across the screen as the first Chords of Jane’s Addiction’s Stop plays. A highlight video plays along to the song.

HERE WE GO!
Go! Nowhere!
No One… Gonna Stop Us Now!

Save the complaints,
For a party conversation.
The world is loaded,
It's lit to pop and nobody is gonna stop...

No one...
No one!
No way!
Gonna stop,
Now; go!

Farm people,
Book wavers, soul savers
Love preachers!
Lit to pop and nobody is gonna stop.

No one...

One come a day, the water will run,
No man will stand for things that he had done...
Hurrah!
And the water will run...
One come a day, the water will run,
No man will stand for things that he had done...
Hurrah!
And the water will run...
Will run!
Will run!

Gimmie that!
Gimmie that - your automobile,
Turn off that smokestack
And that goddamn radio
Hum... along with me...
Hum along with the T.V.

No one's
Gonna
Stop!

The PRIDE logo shows again, and the camera shows the announce team of Chris Masters, Dean Malenko, and Mike ‘Simon Dean’ Bucci.

Simon – Welcome to this week’s edition of Pro Wrestling PRIDE, this week, a special broadcast, coming to you on a Thursday.
Malenko – We’re only one week away from the MTV Special featuring PRIDE, called Uprising. All the matches look to be great contests, and we’re looking forward to what happens now.
Masters – And we’re going to keep on building to next week, so we’re going to start it up right now. First, we’ll have my favorite tag team the Dynasty in action in a 3 Way, no not like that you sick freaks.

D’Angelis – The following match is a Triple Threat Tag Team Match! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 30 Minute Time Limit!

Olé hits, and El Generico and Chuck Taylor walk through the curtain. Chuck Taylor yells at little kids while Generico runs around the ringside area.

D’Angelis – First, weighing at a combined weight of 380 Pounds, El Generico and Chuck Taylor, Team EGO!

Dynastic hits, and Larry Sweeney struts to the ring. Behind him are Scott Lost and Joey Ryan. The fans boo them loudly and they yell back at the fans.

D’Angelis – Next, accompanied to the ring by Sweet and Sour Larry Sweeney, Joey Magnum Ryan and Scott Lost, they are the Dynasty!

Battle without Honor or Humanity plays, and Paul London and Brian Kendrick walk to the ring, with smiles on their faces. They are cheered by the fans as they get in the ring. Ashley Massaro walks with them to the ring, and the fans cheer for her too.

D’Angelis – Finally, weighing in at a combined weight of 390 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Ashley, Brian Kendrick and Paul London, the Aerial Assault!

AssaultvsDynastyvsEGO.jpg

Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Team EGO vs The Dynasty vs Aerial Assault

*Bell Rings*

Brian Kendrick and Chuck Taylor start off the match. They shake hands, and Chuck Taylor wipes his hand on his ass. Taylor and Kendrick stare each other down and the two laugh at each other. They get in a dance off. Brian Kendrick brings a mix of old school breakbeat moves. Chuck Taylor comes back with his own moves, standing and spinning on his head. Brian Kendrick starts to Party Boy, and Chuck Taylor does the same. Kendrick gets out of the ring and whispers something to the referee.

D’Angelis – Brian Kendrick has just announced that he would like the guys in the back to turn on the strobe lights, and blast the mega mix. He also said that his dance skills can not be messed with.

The lights flash with different colors. Smoke fills the ring, and Chucky T and Spanky continue their dance off. The ringside officials give them glowsticks, and they start to trance dance. Neither man is at an advantage, and both pull equally difficult dance moves. Both look at a draw, and they tag in their partners. El Generico and Paul London stare each other down, and they try to dance. El Generico doesn’t know what he’s doing, and he starts to rant in Spanish. Paul London yells back at Generico, and the two have a verbal debate in Espanol. El Generico runs around the ring and yells ole, banging his feet along to the uhn tiss uhn tiss beat. El Generico faces Paul London, and Generico gives him a hug from out of nowhere. Paul London talks to Generico in Spanish and whispers to him, pointing at Joey Ryan and Scott Lost. He then points at Ashley. Generico looks bright eyed, after what he just heard. Joey Ryan and Scott Lost get into the ring and attack both of them. The smoke clears, the strobe lights are turned off, and the dance music stops.

Simon – What the hell? That was pretty awesome.

Masters – I could dance better than all 4 of those clowns. But look at Ryan and Lost, they’re so damn good, I’m telling you that they’re going to win.

The ref tells Ryan and Lost to get back to their corner. They drag Paul London with them, and Joey Ryan tags himself in. He stomps El Generico, and pushes him to the corner. Ryan tags in Scott Lost, and both stomp at the Generic Luchadore. Ryan picks Generico up on his shoulders, and Lost brings him back down with a neckbreaker. Lost makes the cover. 1…2… Generico kicked out. Lost and Generico get back to their feet. Lost punches at Generico, and the Team EGO member fights back. He is able to chop Scott Lost, and then bring him to the mat with a hip toss. Generico tries to run to his corner for a tag, but Lost grabs him by the ankles. Generico is pulled back to the opposite side of the ring, and he can’t kick Lost away. Scott Lost gets up and grabs Generico by the waist, bringing him over with a German suplex. Lost bridges the move over and up, and then damages the Luchadore with a regular Atomic Drop. Scott tags in Joey Ryan. Generico ducks under a clothesline attempt and brings Ryan down to the mat with a bulldog. El Generico runs to his corner, and tags in his partner Chuck Taylor.

Taylor runs in and laughs at Joey Ryan, standing over him. Ryan kicks Chucky T in the balls, and Taylor falls straight to the mat like he just got shot. Joey Ryan stomps at Taylor, and then does some disco dancing. Chuck Taylor rolls back to his feet, and he does not look impressed by the dancing of the member of the Dynasty. Taylor chops Joey hard, and he leans on the ropes. Joey is sent running across the ropes, and is brought to the mat with a boot to the face. Taylor makes the cover. 1…2… Scott Lost breaks up the pin. Generico charges into the ring, and fights Scott Lost off. Joey Ryan gets up, and he lunges toward a random corner. He tags in Brian Kendrick. Kendrick jumps into the ring, and dropkicks Lost out. He comes face to face with Chuck Taylor, and Taylor tries to hit a forearm. Kendrick ducked under it, and brought Chuck down with a neckbreaker. Kendrick stands at the ropes, waiting for Chuck to get up. Once Chucky T gets up, Kendrick jumps onto the ropes and goes for a turning springboard crossbody. Chuck Taylor moves out of the way, and tells the fans that he’s going for his finisher. He drops his fist on Kendrick’s face, and the fans laugh.

Malenko – Taylor’s sneaky, and his lack of seriousness is sometimes an advantage.
Masters – That’s where being a nerd in high school shows through and through.

Taylor slaps Joey Ryan for the tag. Joey Ryan comes in and drops his knee on Kendrick, and then makes the cover. 1…2… Kendrick kicked out, and he gets up to his feet. Ryan throws Kendrick to the ropes. Kendrick is able to sidestep a big boot attempt from Ryan. Kendrick jumps up and connects with a hurracanrana. Joey Ryan is trapped in the Aerial Assault corner, and Kendrick tags in Paul London. London slingshots into the ring and dropkicks the seated Ryan in the face. He and Brian Kendrick team up and bring Ryan up with a backbreaker and leg drop combo. London follows up with a standing moonsault, transitioned into a cover. 1…2… Joey kicked out. London gets up quickly and runs against the ropes. He tries to nail a springboard turning senton, but Joey rolled out of the way. Ryan tries to make a tag, but Brian Kendrick flies out of his corner, stopping Joey with a double axe handle to the back. Scott Lost gets in the ring and starts to punch Kendrick away. London gets on and takes part in the brawl too. Chuck Taylor and El Generico run in the ring, and run towards the 4 brawling opponents. They simultaneously connect with dropkicks, Generico on London and Joey Ryan, and Taylor on Kendrick and Lost. They jump up and high five each other.

Chuck Taylor and El Generico double team both Paul London and Joey Ryan. Taylor picks up Generico and uses him to splash onto Joey Ryan. The Team EGO members double double stomp Paul London in the chest and groin. Scott Lost pushes the two to the ropes, and brings them out of the ring with a double clothesline. Brian Kendrick gets up, and he attacks Scott Lost, who was posing in the middle of the ring. Kendrick tried to go for a side suplex, but Lost countered it into a reverse DDT. Scott Lost picks London to his feet, and he and Joey Ryan team up for an attack. They both punch at London, and then make him weak with an inverted atomic drop to both of their knees. Ryan stands in the corner, and Lost spin kicks London. Paul is spun around after the last move, and Joey Ryan spears him. Magnum goes for the cover. 1…2… El Generico broke up the pin attempt. Paul London and El Generico unexpectedly team up to bring Scott Lost out of the ring. London connects with a superkick to Lost, and Generico follows with a dropkick to throw the Dynasty team member out of the ring.

Malenko – There’s that common bond for the hate of Joey Ryan and Scott Lost.
Simon – And Joey Ryan’s moustache.

Joey Ryan tags Chuck Taylor in, making him the legal man. Chuck and London run against the ropes, and Chucky T gets brought down with a jumping leg lariat. London rolls to his corner, and tags in Brian Kendrick. Kendrick runs at Chuck and makes him dizzy with a flying forearm. Kendrick spins and kicks Chucky T with a sole kick to the stomach. Kendrick runs against the ropes, and springboards, followed by a reverse elbow smash. Kendrick gets in the Dynasty’s corner, and tagged Scott Lost in. Lost runs into the ring, and he stomps on Chuck Taylor, and lets him get to his feet. Lost slaps Chuck in the face, and calls for the finish. Before he could bring Chuck in, El Generico runs into the ring, kicking Lost with an enziguiri. Joey Ryan runs into the ring, and he immediately meets a belly to belly suplex from Chuck Taylor. Taylor continues his offensive by putting Scott Lost in a fireman’s carry. He runs and brings himself and Lost down with a steam roller fireman slam. Chuck Taylor continues his combo by jumping to the middle rope and tagging El Generico. Taylor flies off of the ropes with a moonsault. Generico follows him with a split leg moonsault onto Lost. London and Kendrick get in the match, and they pick Lost up. Kendrick grabs Lost by the head and hits the Sliced Bread #2! London runs, jumps, and then nails his standing SSP! Team EGO and The Aerial Assault both cover Scott Lost.
1…2…3!

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – The losers of this match are the team of Scott Lost and Joey Ryan!

Larry Sweeney has an angry look on his face, and he slides into the ring. He has a mic in hand, and the crowd boos him and the two members of the Dynasty.

Larry_Sweeney4.jpg

Sweeney – Will the Aerial Asswipes and Team Illegal please go to the back right now before I hit you four losers with a baseball bat?

The Aerial Assault and Team EGO mock Sweet and Sour Larry Sweeney as they celebrate, going to the back. They don’t listen, and keep imitating Sweeney’s mannerisms on the entrance stage.

Sweeney – You know what, you 4 freaks can go die in a fire right now. But right now, I need to talk about you two, Scott Lost and Joey Ryan. When I signed you guys to Sweet and Sour Incorporated, I was expecting what would be a big acquisition. Because I heard that you two were all the rage. You guys were wheeling and dealing out in Cali, in that promotion Pro Wrestling Chimpanzee. So I thought that you two were going to be the hottest thing since the sun itself. I’m paying you guys all this money, giving you all the perks not even a pimp would get. I’ve given you guys weekly first class flights, limousines, the best women, and the best clubs. Hell, I’ve even sweat my ass off to get you guys a contract in a promotion based in Stamford.

He takes his sunglasses off, and the fans continue to boo him.

Sweeney – But what have you guys done for me? You’ve lost all of your matches here, and stained my reputation as the best agent in wrestling today. Your stock has fallen so much, and you’re the only ones to blame. The only guy I signed for PRIDE that’s actually had some decent success is Scorpio Sky. How does it feel for you two to get outshined by Scorpio Sky, a man who you know you can beat? You call yourselves the Dynasty, but you guys are as bad as the New York Jets. I don’t understand why you can’t win. You two and Scorpio are primed for the big time, I don’t know why you’re getting pinned by the likes of Chuck Taylor and Brian Kendrick. You shouldn’t even by showing your faces now, I wouldn’t.

Joey Ryan – But boss…

Sweeney – Joey, shut up. You came in here with the confidence like no one else, but what the hell happened? I knew that you could’ve beat Kevin Steen and Ken Dykstra, you’ve become as soft as Bobby Dempsey’s stomach, brother. And Scott Lost, where’s your arrogance, and where’s your ego? That’s what SNS is all about, it’s all about confidence, and it’s all about knowing you’re better than anyone else. You two along with Scorpio are the biggest disappointments I have ever seen in my life. So this is your last chance. Next Saturday, you two are in the tag team survival match. You have the chance of becoming the first ever PRIDE Tag Team Champions. Even though I would’ve preferred the PRIDE Heavyweight Title, the tag belts will do. You two had better win at Uprising, and beat all of those other nobody teams. I want to see you two leave New York with those tag belts. And Scorpio Sky, wherever you are, you’d better listen too. All 3 members of your so called Dynasty have to come out with gold next Saturday. If you don’t, you 3 will be gone from PRIDE. You 3 will be immediately sold to some random promotion, and I’ll make more money for my enterprise. And I’ll come back with a big, big, surprise here in PRIDE if you get fired. In fact, I’m already in negotiation with them. Boys, follow me so we can have a nice little discussion not in front of these ungrateful fans.

More, More, More plays and Larry Sweeney leads Lost and Ryan out of the ring and to the back. Scott Lost and Joey Ryan look intimidated, and Larry Sweeney shuts fans up as he passes by them.

Malenko – A big announcement by Larry Sweeney, he was dead serious about taking Lost, Ryan and Scorpio Sky out for good.
Masters – You never know who he might bring in, he might be sitting at this announcers table.
Simon – Chris, that would be a disaster, and you know that you can’t handle Sweeney’s tough love.

The Murder City Machine Guns are seen backstage, chatting with each other. Their conversation is overheard.

MCMG.jpg

Lethal – Man, it’s no sweat in the Lightweight Title match, I’ve got it bro. Scorpio Sky and Matt Sydal are nothing, the belt’s already mine.

Sabin – Yeah, and me and Alex have the Tag Straps too. Oh, did you two see the new Iron Man yet?

Shelley – What are you talking about man? I was watching Speed Racer, and that was amazing.

Lethal – Nah man, I was just chilling the past week.

Shelley – Were you chilling with your girl So Cal Val and impersonating Randy Savage?

Lethal – You know what, screw that Black Machismo crap. I’m so sick and tired of it, that’s probably the only reason I’m still with that crappy promotion, because I’m funny. But I’ve had it with the entire BS and all the comedy.

Sabin – Hell Yeah man. For the past year, I’ve been doing nothing. It’s just me flying up and down from Orlando to the next city, doing nothing. All me and Alex do is watch some guys like a Shark and a poser Japanese guy beat us.

Shelley – Hey man, that Curry guy is actually a God, I don’t know what happened to him and why the other Vince isn’t making him the champ. We’re too busy in that promotion wrestling in random gimmick match number 5,789. Me and Chris are going to fall off random steel structures and not even come close to a title. It’s just our spot for us to wrestle in nobody matches, and losing to some people that are about 10 years past their prime and can’t even walk anymore. It makes me try to relive the days back here in promotions like this where a show was actually a sport, not a drama for no audience at all.

Sabin – So the other teams in the survival match had better be ready. It doesn’t matter if the Machine Guns are the second or second to last to get in the match. We can plow through any team, we’ll just take them down 5 at a time. So next week, everyone has to have their eyes open. The Guns will shoot right through for the PRIDE tag titles. And Jay Lethal will win the Lightweight strap too. And you can send the tapes straight to Orlando, because we’re not just another tag team and not something to look over. We’re the real deals, and we’re gunning straight to the top.

Camera shows the middle of the ring.

D’Angelis – The following match is a singles contest! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 30 Minute Time Limit!

Kiss 2 Kill plays, and Jimmy Jacobs walks through the curtain, and he is standing next to Lacey.

D’Angelis – First, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, weighing 178 pounds, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, Jimmy Jacobs!

Date with the Night plays, and BJ Whitmer comes busting onto the entrance stage, getting cheered by the fans.

D’Angelis – His opponent, from Alexandria, Kentucky, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing in at 234 pounds, BJ Whitmer!

Singles Match
Jimmy Jacobs vs BJ Whitmer

WhitmervsJacobs.jpg

*Bell Rings*

BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs immediately start punching each other, and the match spills out into a brawl. The bigger man BJ Whitmer pushes Jacobs to the corner, and continues to punch him. The ref breaks the two up, and Whitmer is forced to the middle of the ring. Jacobs runs out of the corner and tackles BJ, bringing him to his back. Jacobs unloads with big haymakers on the grounded Whitmer. Jacobs yells at BJ with every punch he throws. Jacobs gets up and raises his hands up, taunting the crows. Jacobs stomps the face of Whitmer two times, and follows up with a cover. 1… Whitmer got his shoulder up easily, and he stands up on his feet. He and Jacobs exchange more punches. Jacobs is able to gain control by kicking Whitmer in the stomach. Jacobs continues with some hard knife edged chops. Whitmer looks furious and retaliates with hard forearm strikes right to the makeup covered face of Jimmy. They stand in the middle of the ring, and continue to brawl. Whitmer ducks under a haymaker attempt from Jacobs, and connects with a huge uppercut right on Jacobs’ chin. Whitmer follows up with a loud snap suplex, bringing his former tag partner to the mat.

Masters – Wow, an actual wrestling move.

Simon – There shouldn’t be lots of wrestling here, the two absolutely hate each other.

Whitmer stomps on Jimmy’s chest, holding on a rope to do so. Jacobs rolls out of the ring, and Whitmer raises his hands up, showing some emotion. Jacobs runs on the opposite set of ropes, and jumps up for a dropkick. Whitmer moved out of the way, and he runs to the corner, onto the second turnbuckle. He jumps off, going for an elbow drop. Jacobs rolled out of the way, and he gets up to the top rope.

Jimmy Jacobs flies off of the top turnbuckle, attempting his big back senton. Whitmer raised his knees up, and Jacobs lands on them. Whitmer gets back to his feet, with his opponent running around the ring clutching his back. Whitmer connects with some chops that corner Jimmy. Whitmer backs up, and runs back to the corner looking for a body splash. Jacobs rolled back to the middle of the ring, and Whitmer’s chest rammed into the turnbuckle. Jacobs gets to that corner, and starts to rain some forearms and punches on BJ’s face. Jacobs grabs the head of Whitmer, and looks like he wants to set up a DDT. Jacobs jumps backwards, and brings his opponent’s head down with a snap DDT. He keeps Whitmer’s head in his grasp, locking in the End Time. Whitmer gets back to his feet, and Jacobs weakens him with chops to the chest. Jacobs grabs his opponent’s head for the Contra Code. Jacobs runs to the corner, but Whitmer pushes Jacobs into the turnbuckle to stop the move from going through.

Malenko – The two were very successful as a tag team previously, so they really are experts at the other’s move.

Simon – We’ve seen these two fight throughout the whole match, and it can continue right now.

Jacobs turns around, and gets hit with some punches by Whitmer. Jimmy Jacobs grabs Whitmer by the throat, and he also gouges the eye of BJ with his free hand. Jacobs then grabs the weak Whitmer, and brings him down with a side slam. Jacobs makes the cover. 1…2… Whitmer kicked out. Jacobs stands over his opponent, slapping him in the face. Jacobs says some strong words to Whitmer, and BJ kicks Jacobs in the balls. Whitmer rolls up to his feet, looking to inflict some damage on his former tag partner. Whitmer yells at Jacobs, bringing up Lacey, and their old partnership. Jacobs looks very upset, and he slaps Whitmer right in the face. Jacobs goes crazy, and he slides out of the ring. Jacobs grabs a chair from ringside, and gets back into the ring. Whitmer looks ready to fight, and he also grabs a chair from the other side of the ring. Whitmer and Jacobs stare at each other in the middle of the ring, with chairs both in their hands. They strike each other with the steel at the same time, and the ref calls for the ending.

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – As the result of a Double Disqualification, this match has been ruled a no contest!

Whitmer and Jacobs continue to brutalize each other with chairs. Both of them get busted open, and Jacobs throws his chair at the face of Whitmer. Whitmer falls to his back, and Jacobs mounts him. Jimmy punches him, and yells at Whitmer. Tyler Black, Harry Smith, and the Necro Butcher run in from the crowd, and join Jimmy Jacobs on their attack of BJ Whitmer. Tomko, Billy Kidman and commissioner Mick Foley quickly follow the AOTF members for an assist to their team member. Jimmy Jacobs gets off of Whitmer, and he slides out of the ring. The rest of the AOTF follow and Jacobs grabs a mic, while standing next to Lacey.

Jacobs – That’s what it takes. That’s what it takes to beat you 4 next week in Manhattan. BJ Whitmer, you just saw what I’m capable of, and what you’re going to have to come face to face with. Whitmer, last year, you already saw what I could do when you piss me off. Last year, I was fighting for the love of Lacey, but this year, it’s for something else. This year, my comrades and I are fighting for our revolution, not for love. We’re not fighting for money or a spotlight on MTV. We want to spread the right way of thinking, we NEED to spread our knowledge before it’s too late. Whitmer, last year you and I had some battles. Those battles were won by me, and there were no cheap wins, no bullshit. Because of you BJ Whitmer, and the battles we had, I lost things and I gained things. I finally won the women I bled for, Lacey. But you made me lose 3 months of my career. You destroyed my knee, and you knocked my tooth out. For 3 months, I was walking with a cane, all because of you. But next Saturday, I’ll take more than 3 months off of all your careers. The 4 members of the Age of the Fall are going to come out victorious. When that happens, you will be gone from PRIDE. The battle might be over, but the war is not. Though you guys will be done, our revolution will continue to spread. I don’t care what you say, The Age of the fall is coming out as winners.

The group of the AOTF walks to the back, getting booed loudly and getting taunted by the fans. Team PRIDE has smiles on their faces, and they leave the ring through the crowd.

D’Angelis – The following match is a 6 Man Tag, scheduled for one fall!

Immigrant Song plays, and the Untamed bust onto the entrance stage, getting huge cheers from the fans.

D’Angelis – First, the team of Paul Burchill, Cody Rhodes and Lance Hoyt, they are the Untamed!

I’m Comin’ plays, and the fans look at the entrance stage. After a few awkward moments, the New Nation finally walks out to the stage, getting a very big negative reaction. Instead of wearing their wrestling gear, all 3 men are in street clothes. MVP has a microphone in his hand and begins to speak.

NewNation.jpg

MVP –
You silly fools. Do you really think that the most athletic crew in PRIDE would want to wrestle filth like you 3? And why the hell would we want to wrestle one week before a very important date, where we will become victorious?

Burke – You see, we’re too busy getting ready for our matches, and don’t need to confront you guys. We don’t need you to make us look better than we already are. The New Nation is the most gifted, the most exciting, and the most electrifying team in the entire world. Do we really need to explain any further?

Paul Burchill, Cody Rhodes, and Lance Hoyt are in the middle of the ring. Burchill grabs a mic.

Untamed.jpg

Burchill – You 3 call yourself the best team here? But you remind me of something.

MVP – What is that, Paul?

Burchill – You remind me of a bunch of PUSSIES! You claim to be preparing for a match, and you think we believe you. Everyone here knows that you’re afraid of a fight. You’re afraid of having your ass handed to you. You three are a bunch of liars, and a bunch of fakes.

Benjamin – Wow, what a hypocrite. You call us fakes, but actually we’re more truthful than you. When we say we’re the best, we mean it. Come on, have you seen how high I can jump? How easily I can put my opponent away, and how great I am? Just look at me, this isn’t blonde hair, it’s a halo showing my heavenly greatness.

Burke – And just look at my abs you freaks. It’s nothing short of perfection, and so is this team. I could send 4 Knuckles right upside your heads, and I could beat all of you in a fight, not a wrestling contest, right here and right now.

Burchill – Then why don’t you? I’m looking for a fight, and you know that you’ll get one when you ask me. That’s what being Untamed is all about. We’re here not to be the best looking or the most athletic, we’re here to break bones. These two men beside me will be glad to punch your faces into your brains right now.

MVP – That’s really cute Paul, so when we meet in the ring next week, I’ll see if you can do that. And wait, aren’t you a pirate? Come on, swing from a rope like the monkey you are, and go find your treasure. And wait, it’s Lance Hoyt, the big man in the Rock and blueberry connection. Wait, how come there’s no panties stapled to your pants? And weren’t those your mother’s? Oh wait, I feel like a video game now, it’s the generic superstar. He has the haircut, the plain tights and the boring moveset, I really need to change his attire and play some season mode. At least I’ll be able to change his finisher. And wait, what’s your name?

C. Rhodes -
Really funny MVP, but let’s see who got pinned in the PRIDE Title Tournament? And who are the two guys starting off the survival gauntlet that got pinned last week? All you guys want to hear about is you, and all you want to hear is the positive come through all your big heads. But actually, you guys are one of the most overrated teams in all of wrestling. I can’t really see how you guys are going to be serious when you can’t even get a win without using a cheap tactic.

MVP – Whatever gets the job done, that’s what we do. You should learn that some time, maybe I could make you fight with dirty tactics. Anyway, Paul Burchill, next week you’re going to take the beating of your life. It’ll be the Franchise Player in New York, getting the easiest victory in my career. So what do you say man, are you up for a big beating?

The Untamed sprint out of the ring, looking to fight the New Nation. The Nation run away to the crowd, and the members of the Untamed follow, but are stopped by members of security.

---------------INTERMISSION---------------

D’Angelis – The following contest is the first match in the Pick your Poison Challenge! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 45 minute time limit!

Miseria Cantare plays, and the fans get on their feet. CM Punk walks through the curtain, with a serious look on his face. He gets a great reaction from the fans in attendance and he slides into the ring.

Mama Said Knock You Out plays, and Samoa Joe gets a mixed reaction from the fans. He slides into the ring, and grabs a microphone.

Samoa_Joe.jpg

Joe – CM Punk, if it isn’t you again. If you want to get ready for our match next week, I suggest that you just leave right now. I know that you’re dying to wrestle right now, because like you said before, you’re addicted to competition. Tonight we get to pick each others opponents. Man, when I heard this was going to happen, it put a smile on my face. Because I know exactly what to pull off in a situation like this, and I don’t even have to do a thing. I can make you as weak as I possibly can, and I don’t even have to touch you. Hell, it’s the ultimate way for me to get the advantage. I can have someone attack any part of your body, or just take you out completely. Then next week, I can exploit your Achilles heel as much as I can. It’s a win/win scenario for me, even if you win tonight.

CM_Punk.jpg

Punk – Alright Joe, tell me who my opponent is. I could care less about what you say, tell me who my opponent is right now.

Joe – Being a man with many connections and many friendships, I could’ve picked anyone. From Kurt Angle to Kenta Kobashi, I was like a fat boy in a candy store.

Punk – Kind of like you when you were 6, right?

Joe – Real funny Punker, but let’s see if you can back your talk up. You’re nothing but another body to murder so I can win the PRIDE strap. But like I was saying before, my opponent could basically been anyone. But I’ve decided to keep it on the PRIDE roster. Wait, you might think that it would be Homicide or B-Boy, but you thought wrong. This man hasn’t even wrestled in PRIDE yet, and is dying to go out and kick some ass. CM Punk, tonight, you’re going to get knocked out by the man none other than Hernandez!

Gangsta Zone plays and big Hernandez walks through the curtain, getting booed by the fans. He has a cocky smile on his face, and when he gets in the ring, he shakes hands with Joe.

Joe – Hernandez, your job right now is plain and simple. I want you to take him out no matter what. But I’ll even say it to little Punker’s face. I want you to take out his back. Use a chair, your knees, your arms, anything. Just do what I said, and we’ll be fine.

Samoa Joe drops his mic and walks to the back. The ref signals for the beginning of the match.

CM Punk vs Hernandez

PunkvsHernandez.jpg

*Bell Rings*

Punk and Hernandez stare each other down in the middle of the ring. They get in a lockup quickly, trying to see who gets an early advantage. Hernandez gets the best of Punk, pushing him to the ropes. Hernandez opens up with some chops to the chest of the smaller Punk, making his chest red. Hernandez throws Punk back to the middle of the ring with a power hip toss. Hernandez quickly gets on top of Punk for the cover. 1... Punk kicked out easily. Hernandez wants to control the pace, and stomps on Punk’s back. Hernandez drops his left knee onto Punk’s back, and keeps it draped, locking in a camel clutch on his opponent. Punk tries to grab a rope, but he’s stuck in the middle of the ring. Hernandez locks the hold in tighter, placing even greater pressure on Punk’s lower back and neck. CM Punk grabs the hand of Hernandez, trying to free himself from the hold. He wedges his hand between his own chin and Hernandez’s hold, breaking the camel clutch. Punk gets up quickly, and he runs against the ropes, trying to stop Hernandez and his controlled pace. Hernandez uses his power to catch Punk, and bring him down with a scoop backbreaker.

Hernandez keeps Punk draped on the knee with a backbreaker rack submission. Punk is able to get out of it quickly, elbowing Hernandez in the midsection. Punk rolls away to the mat, escaping the reach of Hernandez. Punk gets up to his feet, and waits for Hernandez to come over. Hernandez steps towards Punk and tries to pick him up. CM Punk kicked Hernandez in the left shoulder, making him stand on weak legs. Punk brings Hernandez down with a snapmare to the big man. Punk kicks Hernandez in the back of the head several times, followed by a dropkick to the back of the head. Punk runs towards the ropes, and boots Hernandez in the face, making him lie on his back on the mat. CM Punk follows up with a leg drop, followed by a pin attempt. 1… Hernandez pushed Punk off of himself to get out of the pin. Hernandez and Punk are both on their feet, and Punk wants to control the pace. He runs and ducks under a haymaker attempt, and puts the big man in a side headlock. Hernandez is weakened by the simple submission, and is standing groggily. CM Punk brings him down with a headlock takeover.

Malenko – There’s that strategy CM Punk used with Samoa Joe, the headlock. He just wears his man down and creates cobwebs making Hernandez dead tired.
Simon – And that’s where conditioning comes in play. Who can stay in it for the longest could be the winner.

Punk has a leg draped over Hernandez in the headlock, making it difficult for Hernandez to escape. Hernandez tries to roll over to his back, but Punk still has the headlock held. Hernandez tries to pull Punk’s hands away from his head, but it doesn’t work. Hernandez uses his power to battle to his knees, and grab Punk by the legs. Hernandez pulls him up with a back suplex, but Punk still has Hernandez’s head locked in the headlock. Hernandez looks frustrated and weakened, and he gets up on his feet again. Hernandez grabs Punk’s head from behind him, and brings Punk down with a Cutter. The last move just got Hernandez out of the headlock, and he is relieved. Punk is getting up slowly, leaning against the ropes. Hernandez walks towards him looking for an offensive, but Punk grabbed Hernandez by the arm, and started bringing knees to the head of Hot Stuff. Punk tries to push his opponent back to the middle of the ring, but Hernandez countered it into a throw to the ropes. Punk stopped himself before meeting a big move from Hernandez. Punk tries a round kick to the side of the head, but Hernandez ducked under it. Punk is spun around, and Hernandez picks him up and drops him down with a back suplex spun out into a backbreaker onto the knee.

Masters – As stupid as he looks, Hernandez is looking like a genius. He’s picking apart CM Punk’s back with every move that he does and not wasting any time at all.

Hernandez gets a cover on Punk. 1…2… Punk kicked out of the move. Hernandez drapes both of his knees on Punk’s weak back and rolls it over for a bow and arrow submission hold. Punk’s body bends awkwardly in a U shape, with the hands of Hernandez pulling back even more. Punk’s arms are not being held, and he reaches out and touches the middle rope. The ref counts for Hernandez to let go of the hold. 1…2…3…4… Hernandez releases, and continues to stomp on Punk. Punk grabs the left leg of Hot Stuff, and knocks him to the ground. Punk grabs his legs for a jackknife cover. 1…2… Hernandez kicked out, and he rolls to his feet and slides out of the ring quickly. He stands and waits for Punk to follow him. Punk slides out of the ring and Hernandez quickly tries to attack him. Punk moves out of the way, and Hernandez’s face bumps against the apron. Punk brings his knee up to the face of Hernandez, and continues with some kicks to the chest and face. Hernandez is standing straight now and Punk connects with forearm continuing his attack. Hernandez counters an Irish whip attempt to his own, throwing CM against the guardrail, making a loud thud.

Hernandez grabs Punk and pushes him to the rail again, focusing on the weak back of his opponent. He picks Punk up and tries to drop him back first on the top of the rail. Punk amazingly brings his knee up, hitting Hernandez in the side of the head. Punk gets back to his feet, and jumps to the apron while Hernandez was groggy. Punk flies and knocks Hernandez over with a flying body press. Hernandez slams into the guardrail after the move. Punk is quick to get up, and raises his hands towards the crowd. He grabs Hernandez and bangs his opponent’s head on the ring post. Punk continues and throws Hernandez to the corner of the guardrail. A ringside official moves out of the way and Hernandez lands hard on a chair he was seated in. Punk runs at him and connects with a high knee to the face of the seated Hernandez. Punk tries to follow up with a bulldog out of the ringside corner, but Hernandez pushed Punk away, hitting the guardrail. Hernandez slides Punk back into the ring. Punk is lying on the mat, getting to his feet slowly, and his opponent stands on the apron. Hernandez slingshots himself in the ring with a leg drop.

Simon – Surprisingly, Hernandez can move well for a big guy, and that is somewhat similar to Samoa Joe.

Malenko – It’s another test for Punk to see what he can do next week against the big Samoan.

Hernandez wants to continue his high flying attack and gets out on the ring apron once more. Punk gets to his feet, holding his back. Hernandez flies into the ring, going for a slingshot body block. Punk jumped up in the nick of time, dropkicking Hernandez in the chest as he was coming down. The tired Straight Edge warrior makes a cover. 1…2… Hernandez got a shoulder up. Hernandez is the first to get up, and grabs Punk by the stomach. CM is pulled in for a powerbomb, but he fights out of it. He brings his knee to the midsection of Hernandez, and runs against the ropes. Punk attempts a clothesline, but Hernandez grabbed his arm. Hot Stuff brings CM up with an inverted suplex carry dropped into a backbreaker. Punk is sitting, and Hernandez dropkicks the seated man in the head. Hernandez finishes his combo by getting up and landing on his opponent with a big standing splash. He hooks Punk’s leg for a cover. 1…2… Punk kicked out, and Hernandez complains to the ref. Hernandez quickly turns Punk around and grabs him by the arms. He stands on Punk’s back and pulls up by the arms, putting lots of pain on Punk’s softened back.

Masters – I’ve never really seen Hernandez lock in that many submissions before, but he’s actually pretty good at it.

Malenko – And it looks like Punk’s back has taken as much damage as it possibly could already, let’s see what happens now.

Hernandez thinks he weakened Punk enough and lets go of his submission hold. He grabs Punk and pulls him in for the Border Toss. Hernandez brings him up, but Punk slips out of it, landing behind Hernandez. CM Punk tries to bring Hernandez down for a backslide pin, but Hernandez is just too big and strong to be pulled to the mat. Hernandez grabs Punk by the arms, setting up the Border Toss again. CM Punk flipped out of it, this time landing in front of Hernandez. Hernandez tried to level him with a lariat, but the attempt is ducked. Punk kicked Hernandez in the stomach with a spinning sole kick, and grabs him by the arm. Punk tries to bring him down to lock in the Anaconda Vice, but Hernandez’s strength prevails. He brings Punk down to the mat with an STO, with Punk landing on his back again. Hernandez calls for Punk to get to his feet. Punk is up, and Hernandez grabs him in for another Border Toss attempt. Punk sweeps the legs of Hernandez away, and knocks him to the floor. Punk gets to the upper body of Hernandez, and he locks in the Anaconda Vice! Hernandez quickly taps out to the submission move!

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – Here is your winner by submission, CM Punk!

Simon – CM Punk just got the victory, but at what cost?

Malenko – I really am unsure of how he’s feeling, he’s really clutching his back with every move he’s making right now.
Masters – Exactly. Punk would be an idiot not to use the same strategy when he announced his poison for Samoa Joe.

The ring is cleared, and the camera focuses on the entrance way. Drugs Instrumental plays to a chorus of boos, and Prince Nana and Jimmy Rave walk through the curtain. They pose on the entrance stage, and have toilet paper thrown on them. They slide in the ring, and Nana begins to speak.

Prince_Nana.jpg

Jimmy_Rave.jpg

Nana – Shut up Fat Boys! You should not even be saying anything when you are in the presence of royalty. And right next to the glorified prince, is the crown jewel of the Embassy, Jimmy Rave!

The crowd throws more toilet paper into the ring. Rave tries to throw the rolls back, and he is only successful after a couple of throws.

Nana – You think you’re funny, huh? You’re the ones that need to wipe yourselves, because you can all kiss my Ghanaian ass. You people are so ungrateful that Prince Nana has come here to make your lives better.

The crowd continues to boo both Jimmy and Prince Nana.

Nana – But next Saturday, there is a big match coming up for my man Jimmy Rave. He is going to compete in a Ladder Match to decide the first ever International Champion. You see, the plan is pretty simple. Get rid of all the fat boys, climb the ladder and Jimmy will be the champion. It will be that easy, because no one can even come close to Jimmy Rave and his skills. No, we are not talking about his guitar playing skills, because you nerds might beat him by sitting on the guitar and making music. I am talking about his amazing wrestling skills, skills only suited for an Embassy member.

Austin Aries walks from out of a corner of the crowd, and he gets a mixed reaction. He begins to speak, interrupting the Prince.

Austin_Aries15.jpg

Aries – You two make me laugh at your way of making yourselves look good. Jimmy Rave is scared to compete in the match, just look at his eyes. But me, I don’t care what happens, I will be the International Champ. It’s a ladder match, where I can take my game and elevate it 10 to 15 feet in the air. There will be 5 other guys in the match, but obviously, I’m the ace. I have the most skills out of everyone, and the most ways to bring someone down. And the rules are simple, even a meathead like Roderick Strong would know how to win.

Jack Evans and Julius Smokes strut their way out from the crowd and into the ringside area. They get a big reaction from the fans in attendance.

Jack_Evans5.jpg

Julius_Smokes.jpg

Smokes – Yeah! Yeah! Yeah, Baby! What you talkin’ bout Nana? You think that because you have all the money and a little crown on yo head, you can get Jimmy Rave a title? Nuh, uh, that ain’t how we run it on the streets. We’re getting a title because Jack is the best wrestler in PRIDE here. He’s not about headlocks and stealing moves like your guy Nana, he’s the new era of wrestling. This is what you’ll be watchin’ at home on your TV next week on MTV. Jack, you betta Transform, because next week, you’re goin’ to climb that ladder and grab the title.

Evans – Come on Smokes, you know that I can do that. You see, Jimmy Rave is wack, and so is everyone else in that match. I don’t even give a damn how far I fall, it’s about how much I climb. And next week, I’m climbing 15 feet for the International Title. And man, you already know how it is.

Rave –
Jack Evans, you’re nothing but a useless monkey that can jump off random things and do about 10 flips. That’s not how it is in my game. It’s not about doing flips, it’s about winning the title. Yeah, you’re making the crowd go wow, but the fans can go post on the internet and eat their fat asses off. At the end of the day, Jimmy Rave and the Embassy will be all that matters.

Roderick Strong walks in from the other side of the venue, and he has a mic in hand.

Roderick_Strong7.jpg

Strong – You two idiots have it both wrong. All you need to know is that I show No Remorse and no mercy in my matches. The International Title will be mine, I don’t care how much you two or anyone else bitches about it. I’m tired of seeing people talk their way to a win, and the stupid fans get behind them. The ladder match is going to be brutal, and I’m going to be handing out all the damage. Yeah, I know all of you will pray to the Messiah of the Backbreaker, but next week, I’ll be the Messiah of the Ladder. And Jack Evans, I’m looking right at you, because I’ve been dying to break you in half for a long time.

Austin Aries is standing in the balcony area, also with a mic in hand, heading down to the ring.

Aries – Strong, you’re an idiot. Evans, you’re white. Jimmy Rave, realize that you’re nothing without Prince Nana. But me, I’m the Ace of Pro Wrestling PRIDE. I’m the best kept secret, the most explosive and the one with the biggest future ahead of him. Those aren’t little tags I put on myself like other people, I’ve earned those names. The fans might hate me, but they know that when they see me, they’re in for the show of their life. When you put me in a match with a ladder, you know that I’ll win. So far, I only have one loss here. I have the best record out of anyone in this match, and if you throw in a Title, my game will go to the next level.

Smokes – Man Austin, you sound so damn corny. You can just say that you wrote it on a piece of paper at home, because you sound so wack.

Nana – Look who’s talking, eh? Look at you and your golden teeth and your fake accent, you can’t even fool these idiotic fans!

Smokes – Man, and they call you a prince? You’re trippin’ man, I’m more of a prince than your wack ass royalty. And maybe you’ll get hit with a ladder next Saturday too, so we can shut you up.

Ken Dykstra walks slowly down from the entrance stage, also starting to talk.

Kenny_Dykstra8.jpg

Dykstra – Hold on a minute. I’ve never been in a ladder match, but I know for a fact that some of you won’t even last a minute in that match. Some of you guys are in way over your head, and you’re not ready for what’s coming next. What’s next is me, Ken Dykstra becoming the International Champ. When you say that I’m the least prepared or least experienced, that’s nothing but a---

Strong – Oh no, we’re going to hear another long rant from another generic superstar. Come on Dykstra, what are you going to do now, your buddy Vince isn’t here to back you up or send you to a crappy development territory. And this isn’t when 4 other guys will come in and cheer you on like cheerleaders. This is where you’ll get your head smashed in by everyone here you reject.

Aries – Look who’s talking. Roddy, you’re the biggest reject out of them all. Once I stopped teaming with you, all you did was live off my success and my name. I was the one who carried you to success before, but now you can’t do anything, and you probably won’t survive a ladder match.

Strong – You’re saying that I can’t survive? You’re saying that I’m living off your success? Let’s see who the current FIP Champion is. What was the last title you held? Wait, those were vacated, and you didn’t even do anything to win them, you were just a random replacement partner. But look at Jack Evans, out of the former Generation next members, he’s probably done the least. The last thing I saw him doing was competing with Japanese guys in Dragon Gate and losing, he’s actually gotten worse.

Evans – Wow, way to change the topic Roddy. I can’t believe I used to team with you, I didn’t realize how much of an idiot you are. Come on, chop me right here right now. I know that you’re just here to make a point and talk about your past, so show me what you can do. I already showed everyone that I can take the air, but let’s see what you can do. You might just be scared to climb the ladder man.

Dykstra – Before we get into a little reunion, let’s talk about the ladder match. Next week, all of you are going out. There can only be one winner, and it’ll be me. The International Title will come home right around my waist, and there’s really nothing you guys can do about it. I know you might cry about it and post a blog or something, but just remember that I’ll be the champ.

Rave – That’s real funny, coming from the most stupid guy on the roster. Your team name is the Muscle Militia, which obviously shows that you’re nothing but a steroid junkie. And look at you, no one even knows who you are. The Muscle Militia and you are nothing but rejects, just muscular WWE fan boys trying to get a job with their super nutritional supplements.

Nana – All the fat boys here know that Jimmy Rave is speaking the truth about everything. And that truth will make him the International Champion, and you fatties can bow down to the Crown Jewel of the Embassy!

Kevin Steen walks in from the crowd, also with a mic in hand.

Kevin_Steen6.jpg

Steen –
You’re funny Nana. Really, I’m sure that none of these fans even care about what you have to say. And next week, big things are going to happen-

Steen is cut off by the Ashanti Prince.

Nana – Wait, who is this guy? Did one of the fat boys in the crowd get a microphone and start talking. And speaking of big things, just look at his appetite.

Steen – You think you’re funny, right? But you’ll see what happens when you mess with Mr. Wrestling next week. You see, next week will be a big night in the career of Kevin Steen.

Strong – I’ll finish that thought for you. Next week the big night will be you ending your career, along with everyone else. There can only be one winner, and that’ll be me.

Strong steps towards Steen. All 6 Competitors are in the ring, wearing street clothes.

Steen – Do I really take that comment seriously? For God’s sake, your name is Roderick. How much more odd can it get? But there’ll be a ladder right with your name on it, and it’s going to slam straight against your head.

Strong – Man, I heard that McDonald’s causes depression, but jeez, your career takes it to a whole new level. My name might be odd, but it doesn’t matter man, I’ll still take the title and your girl. Next week, Roderick Strong will be the International Champion.

Aries – That’s what you think Strong. So let’s have a little preview of that match right now.

Aries and Strong start to brawl, with both getting in hard shots to each other’s skull. Jack Evans and Kenny Dykstra also brawl, and Evans knocks Dykstra down with a spin kick. Evans slides out of the ring and pulls out a ladder from the bottom of the ring. Jimmy Rave and Prince Nana jump on Kevin Steen, but Steen’s size is able to fight both. Evans sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring, and he starts to climb it. Dykstra is up quickly, and he climbs up the ladder to battle with Jack. Both are on top of the ladder now, and Jimmy Rave pushes Kevin Steen away. Rave pushes the ladder to the side, and both Evans and Dykstra go flying out of the ring. Rave and Steen brawl again, and all 6 Men Are out of the ring. The brawl continues, spilling out to all parts of the arena.

Simon – What a way to hype the 6 Man International Title Ladder Match, with all 6 Men getting into action.

Malenko – Even a ladder was used, but we were stopped from seeing something big. That could be what happens on Saturday.
Simon – It’s Main Event time now, let’s see who CM Punk picked as Samoa Joe’s opponent.

D’Angelis – The next match is the main event! It is the second pick your poison challenge match. It is scheduled for one fall, under a 45 Minute Time Limit!

Another Body Murdered plays, and the crowd gives a mixed reaction. Samoa Joe walks through the curtain, with his hands raised. He gets in the ring and has a cocky smile on his face. He grabs a mic from a ringside official.

Miseria Cantare plays, and CM Punk walks to the ring, wearing a shirt along with his regular wrestling gear. He gets a big reaction from the fans, and he slides into the ring, with microphone in hand.

CM_Punk.jpg

Punk – You look surprised Joe. Are you surprised that your “boy†Hernandez didn’t beat me, or are you shocked at what’s going to come?

Samoa_Joe.jpg

Joe – Actually, Punker, I’m surprised that you’re still standing. Hernandez did his job, he put as much damage as he could on you. I know you’re hiding the injury, your back is probably all taped up right now. So next week, I already know how to beat you.

Punk – Joe, you know that next week, it doesn’t matter how much my back hurts or if I’m hurt anywhere else. Because I know just how to counter whatever you can dish out. We’ve already wrestled each other about 5 times already, and I don’t think that there’s nothing we don’t know about each other’s move sets. Sure, my back might be in pain, but I can win the PRIDE Championship next week with anything, just look at the headlock.

Joe – Wow, I could really care less about how you think you’re going to beat me. Because all you’re doing is dreaming, and that dream will not come true. Next week the champ will be your favorite Samoan Submission Machine. You don’t even matter, it’s the champion that gets all the spotlight.

Punk – You don’t even know what you’re in for Joe, you and your cockiness will bring you down. I’m ready for the match, we could even have it right here, right now if you wanted. But tonight, your opponent was a pretty easy decision for me. It might be a little predictable, but it’s effective. He already has had some matches with you, but it really doesn’t matter. And I’ll ask him to do the exact same strategy you told Hernandez, which was already my plan. Samoa Joe, tonight, you’re facing none other than Classic Colt Cabana.

Copa Cabana plays, and Colt Cabana walks to the ring, dancing. He rolls into the ring and stands next to Punk.

Colt_Cabana4.jpg

Cabana – Hey, it’s like a reunion of my favorite show Friends, come on, let’s party right now.

Joe – That’s the best you’ve got Punker? I already knew it was coming you idiot. Cabana, you’re nothing more than a big boy with a big mouth. Right now, I’ll wipe the smile right off of your face with my boot.

Cabana – Come on Joe, calm down man. Maybe we can hit the buffet later, right? I mean, we’re both big guys, we like to eat. Maybe we can hit the strip club, and get some girlies. It sounds like a good night Joe. What do you say?

Punk – Come on Colt, I told you to be serious right now. I told you to take out his legs, but all you’re doing right now is making me look bad. I should’ve just gotten Ace to do this…

Joe – You two shut the hell up! Before I choke both of you out, tell the ref to ring the damn bell.

Samoa Joe vs Colt Cabana

JoevsCabana.jpg

*Bell Rings*

Joe and Cabana face off as the bell rings. Joe quickly brings down some forearm shots, which Cabana quickly retaliates with. Joe gets the better of Cabana, but Colt ducked under a kick attempt to save himself in the early part of the match. Joe turns around and gets hit with a couple of jabs from Colt. Joe steps backwards, holding his face. Colt goes for a clothesline, but Joe ducks under it. The Samoan steps to the middle of the ring, and once Cabana turns around, Joe tries a test of strength. Cabana hooks on with one hand, but then grabs Joe in a side headlock with his free arm. Cabana tries to bring Joe down, but he’s pushed to the ropes to break the headlock. Cabana runs back to the middle of the ring and slides under Joe’s legs. Cabana stands up and imitates Samoa Joe, getting a laugh from the crowd. Joe turns around and Cabana runs around the ring to escape an attack from Samoa Joe. Joe chases after him, and Cabana sticks his boot up, making Joe run right into it. Before Joe could fall, Cabana brings the big man over with a hip toss, bringing the big guy down. Joe slides out of the ring, surprised at the advantage that Colt Cabana just showed to him.

Simon – Wow, Joe looks a little frustrated after Colt showed him up there.
Masters – Don’t worry, it’s only a game of possum by Joe.

Joe slides back into the ring. Once he gets up, he immediately gets hit with a dropkick to the left knee. Joe staggers around the ring, and is hit with a stomp to the knee. Joe takes a knee and Cabana steps on his foot. Cabana punches at him, bringing Joe to the mat. Colt Cabana drops his fist onto Joe’s knee, and bars the leg into a simple submission hold. Joe uses his free leg to kick Cabana in the head, effectively breaking the submission. Joe stands on his feet, with Cabana still kneeling. Joe delivers some shots to the back of Cabana’s head and neck. Cabana is pulled up, with Joe then opening up with some strikes. Cabana ducks under most of them, sliding out of the ring. He has a smile on his face, and laughs at Samoa Joe. Joe leans on the rope, with a look of anger towards Cabana. Colt slides back into the ring, and Joe immediately attacking him. He brings Colt down with a running leg sweep. Joe stomps Cabana’s ribs, and grabs his arms. Joe brings his boot to Colt’s face and starts stomping on the Saint’s face. Joe brings one last boot to Colt’s face, and follows up with a jumping leg drop.

Joe brings Cabana up to his feet. Joe hits more hard forearm strikes, and Cabana is brought to his knees. Joe grabs Colt by the stomach, putting him in a gutwrench. Before Joe could pull Cabana up, he gets pushed away. Colt regains his composure, as Joe is forced back. Cabana runs at him, and connects with a headbutt to Joe’s chest. Joe looks winded, and Colt follows up with a legsweep, forcing Joe to the mat. Colt continues his attack on the knee by twisting it outward. Cabana drops his elbow onto the knee, and he gets up, and pulls Joe’s leg towards his head. Colt continues by throwing Joe’s leg hard back towards the mat. Cabana raises his hands, with a smile on his face. Joe slowly gets to his feet, with Cabana running to the ropes. Joe grabbed Cabana out of nowhere, and threw him over with a big powerslam. Joe stands up, but he clutches his hurting knee. Joe grabs Cabana by the hair, kicking him in the face hard. Joe runs to the ropes, looking for a big move. But before Joe could make his way back to the ring, he falls to his knee, showing his injury.

Masters – That’s what CM Punk has to attack next week, he actually might survive 10 minutes if he does.
Malenko – Masters, Punk and Joe have wrestled 60 and 30 Minute draws before, I don’t think that Punk will be done after 10 minutes.

Cabana is up, and he knocks Joe to the mat, pinning him in the process. 1…2… Joe rolls over to escape, which pins Cabana. 1…2… Colt reversed it into a cradle pin attempt. 1…2… Joe kicked out, but Cabana used the leg to turn Joe to his stomach and lock in a half Boston Crab. Colt locks the submission in, and wrenches back, stretching the left leg and back of Joe. Cabana uses his free leg and body to roll over to his back, wanting to break the submission. Joe is up to a knee, with Cabana still holding Joe’s left leg. Joe is standing on one leg, and Cabana is about to release the other leg of Joe. But before Cabana could let go, Joe kicks Cabana in the side of the head with a big enzuigiri. Cabana is on weak legs, and Joe looks to hit some more offense on the Second City Saint. Joe quickly lifts Cabana up with a belly to belly suplex. Cabana lands hard on his back, but he leans against the ropes with the aftershock. Joe steps towards him and elbows him in the back of the head. Joe brings Cabana up again with a hard German Suplex. Joe bridges it over, and brings Colt down again with a Dragon Suplex. Joe bridges over into a pin attempt. 1…2… Colt kicked out.

Simon – Joe has one of the deadliest array of suplexes, but I’m surprised at the willingness showed by Colt Cabana here.

Both men roll back up to their feet, with Colt being the currently weaker man. Joe charges at Colt, and connects with a Yakuza kick right to Colt’s face. Cabana is brought down, and he is leaning against the bottom turnbuckle. Joe signals for the Face Wash. Joe attacks Cabana, wiping Cabana’s face with his boot a couple of times. And after a fifth boot, Joe runs against the opposite set of ropes. He tries to connect with a running boot, but Cabana rolled out of the ring at the very last second. Joe’s left leg goes jams against the turnbuckle. Colt grabs Joe’s leg from the outside, barring it against the ropes. Cabana follows up by leaving the back of Joe’s knee exposed on the ring apron. Colt steps up to the apron and struts towards Joe. Cabana jumps up and performs a butt drop on Joe’s knee, which makes Joe roll to the middle of the ring, yelling in pain. Cabana climbs up to the top turnbuckle, seeking to hit a big maneuver. Joe gets up slowly, and once he’s up on both feet, Colt Daddy flies off the buckle. He connects with a missile dropkick to the chest of Joe, sending him to a corner.

Cabana runs to the corner, and goes for a double knee strike to Joe. The Samoan brought both of his legs up to stop Cabana from getting the advantage. Cabana crashes down to the mat after receiving the counter. Joe waits for Colt to get to his feet. Once Cabana is back up, Joe slaps him with some strikes. Joe throws him against the ropes. Once Cabana gets back to the middle of the ring, he gets driven down with a big Samoan drop. Joe runs against the ropes, and yells out Samoa before connecting with a big elbow drop. Joe makes the cover. 1…2… Cabana kicked out, and both get to their feet at the same time. Cabana wins an exchange of forearms, surprisingly. He backs up and attempts a lariat. Joe catches the arm, and pulls the other arm in a straightjacket hold. Joe brings him over with a Straightjacket Suplex. Joe raises his hands up, with Colt getting up quickly, clutching his neck. Joe dashes towards Colt, but he is quickly brought down with a drop toe hold, with Joe’s weight landing on his knees. Colt grabs the weak leg of Joe and grabs it. He spins around several times, performing a tribute to the Funks, a spinning toe hold. After that attack, Colt grabs the other leg of Samoa Joe, and puts it in the Chicago Crab, putting even more pressure on the knee.

Malenko – Look at the pressure put on Joe’s weak leg, Cabana’s showing he’s not just fun and games.
Simon – Submissions have been key in both Poison matches, let’s see if Colt can keep this Crab locked in.

Colt pulls himself and Joe to the middle of the ring, effectively stopping a rope break. Joe looks like he is about to tap, but with one motion, he rolls forward, breaking the submission. It sends Cabana running to the ropes. Joe gets up quickly and he attempts a superkick. Cabana held the ropes, and Joe collapsed to his knees, because his weak leg couldn’t carry him. Cabana walks towards Joe and hooks both of his arms, setting up the Colt 45. Before Joe is brought up, Cabana’s grip is lost when Joe counters the move into a modified Northern Lights Suplex. Colt is on his back, and Joe hooks the leg for a pin. 1…2… Colt kicks out, and Joe pulls Cabana up to his feet, and he signals the end of the match. Cabana stopped Joe with a couple of forearms to Joe’s face. Colt attempts to whip Joe against the ropes, but it is reversed, and Colt is the man running to the ropes. Cabana springboards against the middle rope, and attempts to knock Joe down with his moonsault. Joe moves out of the way, but Cabana landed on his feet. Before Cabana could turn around, Joe brings Colt down with The Choke! Joe scissors the body of Cabana, and Colt has nothing else to do but to pass out to the pain.

*Bell Rings*

D’Angelis – Here is your winner, Samoa Joe!

Malenko – Colt Cabana came so close to beating Samoa Joe, but it all went down the drain after Joe locked in the Choke.
Simon – That was a really hard fought battle between the two, and Cabana took Joe to raise his game. That’s exactly what we’re going to see next week at Uprising.
Malenko – It’s the biggest of all the matchups for next week. So next time, join us as we present Pro Wrestling PRIDE Uprising, only on MTV.

Joe raises his hands in the middle of the ring, but holds his knee after a couple of seconds. CM Punk slides into the ring. He and Joe stare each other down, with Punk pointing at the Uprising logo on the entrance stage. The two stare at each other for a couple of moments. The show ends with that image. After that, the credits roll.

BM: It was a toss up between both of the pick oyu poison matches. But I am going to go with the Punk/Hernandez match both were good but this one had me thinking Hernandez might win.

WM: None in my opinion although i thought the triple threat tag match would have been longer.

BP: International title match competitors promo.

WP: None you really get into how the wrestlers would talk.

AC: That was a great show building up to uprising. This is a great indy show that not many could pull off. I was glad to see you keep the Jacobs/Whitmer past in your show it really shows that not all companys would make wrestlers abandon there pasts. Also great job on having the Murder City Machine Guns rip into TNA.

Thanks for review

BM: It was between both pick the poison matches. But between them I pick the Samoa Joe vs Cabana, more mat wrestling and I think that Hernandez vs CM Punk was a little weird of the fact of the big man being so affected by Punk's headlocks. But hey, maybe it's just me too used to the WWE's Big men.

WM: None, all was well done

BP: The best promo was the one with all the International Championship Contenders, it was really good lenght, confronted everyone and set the chances for the match to everyone. The interaction between Punk and Joe in both his two segments was enjoyable. The shoots of MVP and MCMG were good also

WP: I didn't like Larry Sweeney's one, I don't enjoy his character.

AC: Good go show for Uprising. I enjoyed every promo of the show, and every match of the card was hyped nicely for next week, so good work on that. I will be reviewing.

Check out BTW, show has been posted

Best Match: Joe vs. Cabana; I thought that it might just be a long squash, but it was a really good match.

Worst Match: They were all good, but I'd have to say Jacobs vs Whitmer, just because of the DQ ending.

Best Promo: I really liked the Jommy Jacobs promo.

Worst Promo: Again they were all good, but if I had to choose I'd say the New Nation/Untamed promo.

Pro Wrestling PRIDE
Uprising
The Preview
FINALLY

-Pro Wrestling PRIDE will make its MTV monthly special on Saturday in the historic Grand Ballroom in the Manhattan Center Studios. It is PRIDE’s biggest event of their young history, and everyone is sure to deliver. The final card is as follows.

CM Punk vs Samoa Joe
PRIDE Championship Match
There Must Be a Winner

-After their 30 Minute Time Limit Draw at the Title Tournament, these two men have been looking to go at each other. For the past few weeks, they have been getting into each other’s heads and playing mental warfare in matches. So far, they both have submitted to each other. At Uprising, there MUST be a winner, and the First Ever PRIDE Champion will be crowned. Which man will come out as the winner?

MVP vs Paul Burchill
-These two men have also been fighting since the Title Tournament. Both came up short in a quarterfinal match where Austin Aries was victorious. Conflict between the two has gone back and forth, with both men trying to show up the other. It also has heavily involved their stables, the New Nation and the Untamed. Will MVP remain the Franchise Player, or will Paul Burchill rip through him?

Austin Aries vs Jack Evans vs Jimmy Rave vs Ken Dykstra vs Kevin Steen vs Roderick Strong
PRIDE International Title Match
Six Man Ladder War

-Things never get as heated as in a ladder war. Six Young Stars look to become the first PRIDE International Champion, risking their lives in a ladder war. This is guaranteed to be a brutal match, with all 6 Men having the qualifications to steal the show. Who will emerge, or survive to become the PRIDE International Champ?

Jay Lethal vs Matt Sydal vs Scorpio Sky
PRIDE Lightweight Championship Match
Triple Threat

-Things will be taken to the air with 3 Aerial Artists going at it. These young studs are looking for a chance to break out of their shells and make a big name for themselves. Jay Lethal has been trying to show that he isn’t Black Machismo, he is a true athlete. Matt Sydal wants to show the world size doesn’t matter, and he isn’t just some pretty boy. Scorpio Sky wants to save his job, after the threats of manager and Super Agent Extraordinaire Larry Sweeney. Who will make the biggest impact?

Eleven Man Tag Team Survival
PRIDE Tag Team Championship Match

-PRIDE’s tag teams collide for a chance to win the Tag Team Titles. This Gauntlet Style Match is a test to show who has the heart of a champion, and the endurance. Many of the teams have something to prove, and something to gain by becoming Tag Team Champions. The New Nation are the first teams entered, and the Kings of Wrestling are last. Which team can show the Manhattan Crowd what PRIDE is all about?

The Age of the Fall vs Team PRIDE
Eight Man Elimination Deathmatch
Losers leave PRIDE

-This feud has been going ever since the first ever PRIDE Show. The AOTF called out Commissioners Ricky Steamboat and Mick Foley in the first ever PRIDE Segment. For the following weeks, Team PRIDE was brought in showing what the company is all about, and to take out the AOTF. Mick Foley and the Necro Butcher were recently added to the match, and it will definitely be a war. Which team will stay in PRIDE?

Colt Cabana & Ace Steel vs Homicide & B-Boy
-Samoa Joe’s crew and CM Punk’s crew go at it in this match. These two teams have been dying to wrestle each other, setting the stage for Joe vs Punk. Which crew can claim for a fact that they’re better?

===============

Yeah, it’s really delayed. This will be my biggest show, so be ready.
