I told you loss 4 was his ass remember Sal!
Let me put it to you like this, he pissed them off with rotations like Mitch stated in the presser. He asked for a SG to spell Kobe, they got it, and he refused to play Meeks despite them using the mini mle on him. Likewise Mike asked for a backup PF and they went after Jamison hard, only for Mike to play him at SF, despite Mike asking in the exit interview for a PF to backup Oau and hill to be a full time C backup as he didn't want Pau playing there anymore, yet he has played Pau at C. The last thing is Mike Brown admitted in the yesterday practices that he had been called in and talked to by Jim about Dwight and Kobe's minutes as he was told to ease Dwight back and pace Kobe, yet Mike went into Utah and still played them all because he needed a win. He really fucked himself when they gave him the personnel and he chose not use it, and then how Kobe/Dwight risking injury because he can't follow the trainers was his ass as the final straw and you could see it with the Kobe death stare and Dwight looking at him and saying really when he out Kobe and Dwight back in the game vs Detroit in the 4th up 24 to secure a W. he was too master of panic.
Now the thing here is the options are
- Phil: Kobe and Pau get going from jump, Fisher is and has been working out in El Segundo, and Ron critiqued Mike as not being as good as Phil this year when Mike asked him to concentrate less in lockdown man defense and more on the team concept by saying Phil wouldn't do that to Worthy, as Phil just let Ron go after a Pierce, Melo, Bron, as a solo mission, called him a mercenary much like he used to do Rodman. Plus C is the easiest triangle set to learn so Dwight could do that in a snap. Biggest struggle is Nash and Blake more so than anyone else, as even Meeks and Jamsion benefit from the triangle sets
- Pringles: He and Nash are hand and glove, plus he's coached Kobe and Dwight for the Olympics O with Coach K. He could use Meeks shooting, and Duhon did have career stats under him in NY. Dwight is also the best pnr big in the league based on stats for the past 3 seasons. And Pau could be used. Probably easiest mini Showtime experiment that can be achieved
- Sloan: hybrid Phil and Dantoni. He would maximize Nash and pick and roll, but he is an old school guy who calls you on your shit like Phil and believes in man D like Phil with a motion offense. He would likely kill Pau, but I could see Kobe, Ron, and Dwight thriving just not Blake, Hill, or Jamison
Mike and to go though and it was clear he wasn't made for that job
