WWF Smackdown 12/21/2000 - WWF Hardcore Title: Steve Blackman vs. Raven

Raven has a garbage can of plunder with him which he dumps in the ring then grabs a kendo stick and trash lid. Blackman responds by pulling out his own kendo stick from under the ring and we apparently have a standoff. Blackman takes the first swing and Raven blocks it with the lid then moves in but Blackman gets in the first shots. Blackman grabs the lid and whips Raven then bashes his knee with the lid and nails him in the back of the head. Raven comes back with a lid shot then pulls him out to the floor and hits a Russian legsweep into the barrier. Raven goes for a crossbody but Blackman ducks it and Raven sails over the barricade, taking out a few fans. Blackman goes after Raven in the crowd and grabs someone he thinks is Raven but is just a fan in a black shirt while Raven waffles him with a popcorn tray. Raven tosses Blackman back in the ring and grabs a pair of trash lids but Blackman hits an armdrag then hits Raven with the lid. Blackman covers but Raven nails Blackman with his own lid then grabs a kendo stick and works Blackman over with it. Raven grabs a trash can but Blackam trips him into it then goes out and slides another can in the ring. Blackman grabs his fighting sticks and hammers away on Raven then follows it up with the stick-assisted suplex .. but only gets a two count. Raven hits a shot below the belt then grabs a fire extinguisher and sprays Blackman’s face with some CO2. Raven climbs to the middle rope with a trash can in hand but Blackman quickly superkicks the can in his face. Blackman then climbs up and DDTs Raven from the top rope into a trash can and that gets the three to retain. ** Man this was fun, just a shame Raven jobbed again.

WWF Smackdown 12/21/2000 - WWF World Tag Team Titles: The Rock & The Undertaker vs. Edge & Christian

Rock and Taker get to enter first since they’re Rock and Taker then E&C are out and hesitate on getting in the ring. However Kurt Angle suddenly appears wearing a referee shirt. SWERVE!. E&C are happy about this and want a high-five but Angle just ignores them as he heads in the ring to officiate. Rock and Taker protest but turn their backs to their opponents who jump them from behind to start us off. Rock knocks Edge out of the ring but Angle orders him out to the corner while Christian works over Taker. Angle then reprimands Christian but that allows Taker to throw Christian into the corner and get in his offense until Angle then pulls him off. Taker wrenches Christian’s arm when Christian reverses it but Taker decks him then whips him into a corner and hits a clothesline. Taker whips Christian the other way when Edge comes in but Taker boots Edge down then gets Christian in a cross armbreaker. Edge saves it before Christian can submit and Angle orders him back to the corner while Rock tags in to take over and whips Christian, hitting an elbow. Rock whips Christian when Edge make a blind tag and Christian slides under Rock but Rock clotheslines E&C. Rock plants Edge with a Samoan Drop and covers him as Angle makes a fair count but only gets a two. Rock goes for a whip but Edge reverses and Christian grabs Rock’s ankle. So Rock pulls Christian onto the apron but Christian snaps his neck on the top rope and Edge follows it up with a spinning heel kick. Edge lays the boots to Rock then tags Christian in and Rock fights back but Christian hits a Russian legsweep. Edge tags back in and helps Christian with a double-team when Angle demands that Christian go to the corner. Edge gets in Angle’s face on why he’s not cheating for them while that allows Rock to start fighting back again. Rock goes for a whip and Edge reverses it but both men clothesline each other and are down as Angle counts. Both men are up and Edge tries to keep Rock from reaching his corner but Rock still makes the tag to Taker. Taker pounds away on Edge with right hands and whips him, hitting a boot then decks Christian off the apron Edge rakes Taker’s face and whips him but lowers the head and Taker sets him up then hits the Last Ride! Taker covers Edge but Angle is too busy getting Chrsitian back to the corner even though he sees the cover. Rock comes in and gets in Angle’s face when Angle shoves him so Rock takes Angle out with a Rock Bottom. Rock stomps Angle out to the floor but Taker isn’t happy Rock took out the referee while he had a pinfall when Christian low blows him. Rock pops Christian through the ropes then goes out and rams him into the barricade. In the ring Taker chokeslams Edge and covers him as Earl Hebner runs in and counts 1..2..but Christian barely makes the save. Christian tees off on Taker and chokes him when Hebner pulls him off. Taker plants Christian with a flapjack and both men start crawling toward their corners when Christian tags in Edge while Taker makes the hot tag to Rock. Rock peppers Edge with right hands and caps off with the Smackdown then knocks Christian off the apron. Rock drills Edge with a DDT and covers him but Hebner is too busy getting Christian out of the ring to count. Taker pops Christian through the ropes and fights him on the floor while Hebner tries to get them back in the ring. Meanwhile Rock plants Edge with the spinebuster and readies to deliver the People’s Elbow when Angle comes back in and plants Rock with the Olympic Slam. Angle then drapes Edge’s arm over Rock and counts the 1..2..3 and Edge & Christian regain the titles after just three days. E&C are now five-time champs, tying the New Age Outlaws for most title reigns together. **3/4 Main event was fine probably just as good as on Raw, if not better. Cause the did that "I know that move, so I have a counter" this also had a hot crowd, but a bit shorter. Kurt was a good ref who didn't get involved hardly at all, except trying to enforce legal man rules. but leaves you wondering why Rock and Taker got that meaningless title run to begin with. Plus five title wins for E&C in just nine months and it just gets worse heading into WM-X7 if i remember correctly.

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kane

Austin rushes the ring and goes right to work on Kane when Kane grabs him and throws him into a corner. Austin quickly escapes from there and continues working over Kane then rams him repeatedly into a buckle. Austin goes for a whip and Kane reverses him into the other corner but Austin comes back with a clothesline. Austin straddles Kane on the middle rope then clotheslines him over the ropes but Kane lands on his feet and pulls Austin out to the floor. Kane hammers away on Austin with uppercuts but Austin fights back while Regal decides to get involved. Austin goes for a whip and Kane reverses it but Austin ends up clotheslining Regal instead. Austin stomps away on Regal when Kane comes over but Austin decks him, knocking him right on top of Regal. Austin rams Kane him into the announce table then unloads on him with rights before throwing him in the ring. Austin drapes Kane on the apron and elbows him in the chest as we see Regal trying to recover on the floor. Austin heads in and goes for a whip but Kane reverses it and hits a boot followed by a short-arm clothesline. Kane whips Austin for another boot but Austin catches it then trips Kane by the leg then stomps away at his thigh. Austin knocks Kane through the ropes but Kane comes back and trips Austin then wraps his leg around the post. Austin jabs Kane’s eyes but Kane climbs to the top rope and connects with the flying clothesline for a near fall. Kane follows it up with a backbreaker then whips Austin hard into a corner and lays the boots to him. Austin starts fighting back and goes for a suplex but Kane blocks it and hits his own suplex for a two count. Kane whips Austin and grabs him in a bear hug so Austin grabs at his mask then manages to fight out of the hold. Austin whips Kane and hits the Thesz Press then wails on him with rights and follows up with the elbowdrop. Austin goes for a whip when Kane reverses and grabs him by the throat. Austin fights out of the chokeslam and goes for the Stunner, Kane shoves him away. Kane scoops Austin up for the Tombstone but Austin slips out then tries the Stunner again and hits it. Regal hops on the apron but Austin rams him into the buckles and decks him off the apron. Kane grans Austin by the throat again but Austin kicks him below the belt. Austin pounds on Kane when Regal goes in and nails Austin from behind and that’s going to do it for the match. Regal and Kane double-team Austin before Regal goes out and brings a chair in. Kane holds Austin while Regal readies a swing but Austin cuts him off then nails Kane with a mule kick below the belt to escape. Austin grabs the chair and whacks Regal and Kane with it then heads out with a can of beer in each hand because he always has to get in the last word. **1/2 Solid match but could have had a better ending, like Regal helping Kane to a cheap win over Austin to fuel a potential feud with Regal.

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - Chris Jericho & The Dudley Boyz vs. Kurt Angle, Edge & Christian

Jericho takes a swing at Angle on the apron but that allows Christian to nail him from behind to start us off. Christian pounds away on Jericho and Angle gets in some shots as the referee tries to hold back the Dudleys. Christian whips Jericho but Jericho comes back with a flying forearm then gets in his shots. Jericho whips Christian who goes for a Sunset Flip but Jericho rolls out of it and catapults him into a right hand from D’Von. Jericho rolls Christian up for a near fall then brings him to his corner and tags D’Von in for a double-team. D’Von gets an arm wringer but Christian jabs his eyes to break it then Edge tags in but he runs into a hip toss. D’Von whips Edge and hits a flying shoudertackle that gets a two count then rams him into Bubba Ray’s boot. Bubba tags in and hammers Edge with right hands then whips him and drops him on the ropes with the Stun Gun. Bubba pops Angle and Christian and the referee keeps them out while Bubba slams Edge and sets him up as D’Von climbs to the top rope and connects with the “Wassup” headbutt. Bubba sends D’Von to fetch a table and D’Von gets a table ready on the floor when Christian nails him. Angle goes out as well but Jericho cuts him off with a clothesline while Edge spears Bubba in the ring. Christian tags in and goes for a whip but Bubba hits a backdrop. Both men crawl toward their corners and Christian tags in Angle while Bubba makes the hot tag to Jericho. Jericho comes off the ropes with a clothesline then goes for a whip, Angle reverses but Jericho slides under him and hits a double-arm backbreaker. Jericho covers Angle but pops up to nail Edge and also decks Christian. Jericho goes to whip Angle who reverses it but Jericho kicks the face the clotheslines him over the ropes. Jericho tosses Angle back in the ring when Eric Angle reaches over the barricade and shoves Jericho’s face. So Jericho pulls Eric over the barrier and the Dudleys collect him while the other Angles swarm over Jericho and this match has really broken down now. Jericho tries to fight off the Angles but Kurt nails him from behind when we then see D’Von passing Eric over to Bubba and Bubba superbombs Eric off the steps and through the table. Jericho and Angle continue fighting when Jericho whips Angle into the ringpost and tosses him back in the ring. The Dudleys and E&C brawl up the ramp while Jericho climbs to the to top rope and hits a missile dropkick. Jericho goes for the Lionsault but Angle gets his knees up to block it then hits the Olympic Slam and gets the pin. The rest of the Angles pour in to celebrate with Kurt while Eric is left laying in the table wreckage on the floor. The Angles hold Jericho up for Kurt to get some free shots and Jericho spits in his face but gets beaten down. The Dudleys make it back in the ring to clear out the Angles but the damage has already been done to Jericho. **3/4 Real fun five minute match or so, but it's mostly the faces running through offense.

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - The Rock vs. The Undertaker

They gave this 8-9 minutes, and it was very good as expected. Takers work on rock's kidneys and back was AWESOME, everything was smooth. And Rock was on here with his selling and even his babyface comeback was great. I didn't even mind the Rikishi interference cause he has to get his heat back after his bump in the Cell match and what a way to get it back against with the man you have been feuding with for the past 2 months and the man who throw you off the cell. *** - ***1/4

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - Chris Jericho vs. Edge & Christian

Jericho gets on the mic and decides to make a New Year’s resolution to never make fun of Stephanie again, but then decides that since he’s already screwed he calls her a dirty, brutal, bottom feeder and so on. E&C make their way out but Jericho knocks Edge off the apron then attacks Christian as he climbs in the ring. Jericho then goes for a whip and Christian reverses it but Jericho rolls him up for a quick two count. Jericho takes Christian down by the legs looking for the Walls of Jericho already but Edge is in and breaks it up. Edge gets in his shots then heads out to the corner while Christian stomps away at Jericho and chokes him. Edge tags in for a double-team and chokes Jericho on the middle rope. E&C whip Jericho into a corner then Edge drops down while Christian goes for the crossbody but Jericho dodges it and clotheslines Edge down. E&C whip Jericho looking for a double spinebuster but Jericho counters and hits a double DDT. Jericho bulldogs Edge and connects with the Lionsault then covers him but Christian is able to make the save. Christian heads to the apron when Jerihco nails him with the springboard dropkick. Jericho chops away at Edge and goes for a whip, Edge reverses it but Jericho takes him down and puts him in the Walls of Jericho. Christian tries to make the save and the referee orders him back to the corner but misses Edge tapping out. We then see Stephanie heading out and climbing in the ring but Jericho lets go of Edge to confront her. The referee steps in between them and gets Stephanie out but Christian nails Jericho with the Tomikaze. Stephanie finally leaves the ring while Edge covers Jericho and grabs the cheap pin. After the bell Christian drills Jericho with another Tomikaze then E&C proceed with a double-team beatdown before holding him for a slap from Stephanie. Jericho lunges at her but E&C quickly put him down then finish him off with a double sitdown powerbomb and Stephanie gives him some parting words. **1/2 Decent stuff for 2 maybe 3 minutes, not much more i can say.

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - WWF Intercontinental Title: Chris Benoit vs. Matt Hardy

AWESOME MATCH. Matt was wrestling with intensity and hatred and if you know Benoit that's how he always works so this was great. Benoit was even bumping for Matt, but when Benoit took over his offense was sweet the back work was vicious and it only made Matt's comeback better just a shame he no sold the back. ***1/2

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - WWF World Heavyweight Title: Kurt Angle vs. Bubba Ray Dudley

So Bubba puts Angle’s brother through a table on Raw and his "punishment" is a world title shot? Bubba is out first followed by Angle who first gets on the mic and talks about Bubba being know for putting people through tables while he rose to prominence by winning an Olympic gold medal as well as the WWF Championship. Angle says Bubba broke his number one rule by putting his hands on his family and dares Bubba to try him. Bubba knocks Angle off the apron to start things off then nails him with the mic before rolling him in the ring. We see D’Von watching the match from the interview set backstage as Angle works Bubba over in a corner. Angle goes for a whip and Bubba counters it but Angle comes back with a German suplex and stomps him. Angle elbows Bubba in the head when Bubba starts to fight back then whips him but Angle hits a neckbreaker. Angle stomps Bubba down in a corner but the referee backs him off allowing Bubba to come back with a chop. Bubba whips Angle into a corner goes for a splash but Angle sidesteps it and clotheslines Bubba from behind. We get a shot of Stephanie watching as Angle climbs to the top rope and goes for a moonsault but misses it. Bubba again fights back with punches and chops then whips Angle then clotheslines him down but only gets two. Bubba whips Angle and hits a sidewalk slam for a near fall then whips Angle again and hits a backdrop for two. Bubba goes for a another whips but this time Angle reverses it and plants Bubba with a belly-to-belly suplex. Angle goes out and brings his championship belt the ring then readies a swing but Bubba is able to cut him off and followed it up with a DDT. Bubba drapes an arm over Angle as the referee counts …but only gets two! Bubba then starts getting a strange look on his face as he grabs the belt but the referee takes it away from him. However that allows Angle to nail Bubba below the belt and roll him up for the pin to retain. Angle celebrates the win when Bubba nails him from behind then plants him with the Full Nelson bomb. Bubba continues pounding on Angle when Edge and Christian run out to svae their pal and double-team Bubba. D’Von comes to his brother’s aid and tosses Christian over the ropes while Bubba hits Edge with a Stun Gun. Bubba then slams Angle and sets him up while D’Von climbs to the top rope and connects with the “Wassup” headbutt. Bubba sends D’Von to fetch a table for him then sets it up while D’Von dukes it out with Christian on the floor. Bubba attacks Edge on the apron but Angle recovers and plants Bubba through the table with the Olympic Slam. **3/4 I think everyone knew Angle wasn't winning but the did a good enough job trying to tell the story with the potential upset, instead of doing a squash match.

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - WWF Hardcore Title: Raven vs. Jeff Hardy

Raven brings his shopping cart of plunder out and throws it in the ring then decides to get on the mic and brag about destroying Steve Blackman and Hardcore Holly on Raw, courtesy of The Raven Effect. Raven then laughs at facing a “mere Hardy Boy” in his first defense and declares 2001 the year of the Raven. Jeff comes out and does his posing on the turnbuckles while Raven tries to sneak attack him with a trash can but Jeff catches him coming and missile dropkicks the can in his face. Jeff bulldogs Raven into the can then grabs a broom and stuff it in his face. Jeff throws Raven to the mat then climbs to the top rope and tries to rid the broom down but misses Raven and ends up hurting himself. Raven nails Jeff with a road sign then tosses him through the ropes and hits a Russian legsweep into the barrier. Raven covers Jeff for a two count on the floor before tossing him in the ring and hitting him with the trash can. Raven sets the can upright then whips Jeff and trips him into the can with a drop toehold for a near fall. Jeff crotches Raven with the mop handle and bounces him a few times then hits the double legdrop to the chest. Jeff goes out and slides a ladder in the ring then jabs Raven with it. Jeff places the ladder on Raven then climbs to the middle rope and hits a double legdrop but only gets two. Jeff sets the ladder up then climbs to near the top and set up for something but Raven bails out to the floor. Raven tries to regroup but Jeff walks off the ladder onto the top rope and connects with a flying clothesline. Jeff tosses Raven in the ring then climbs the ladder again but Raven sprays him with a fire extinguisher. Jeff is blinded as Raven drills him with the Evenflow for the pin to retain. ** Good hardcore match. Not on the of a Blackman defenses, but Blackman is the best Hardcore Champion ever, so yeah.

WWF Raw Is War 12/25/2000 - The Rock & The Undertaker vs. Rikishi, William Regal & Kane

Kane and Regal head in first and Rock and Taker duke it out with them while Rikishi watches from the floor. Rock clotheslines Kane over the ropes then takes his spot in the corner while Taker hammers away on Regal. Taker whips Regal into a corner and clotheslines him then whips him the other way and hits a sidewalk slam. Taker whips Regal but lowers the head and Regal kicks the face then works him over with European forearms. Regal goes for a whip and Taker reverses him into a corner but eats an elbow and Regal makes the tag to Kane. Rock also gets the tag and gets in his shots on Kane then comes off the ropes but Kane clotheslines him down. Kane pounds away on Rock in a corner when Rock fights back but Kane stops that with a knee to the chest. Kane whips Rock but Rock comes back with a flying clothesline. Taker tags back in and grabs Kane’s arm then walks the top rope then hits the shot to to the back. Taker decks Regal off the apron but Kane regains control with a boot then Rikishi tags in and Regal helps out with a double team in their corner. Kane adds in an elbow from the apron before Regal tags in and works Taker over in a corner with forearms. Regal htis the kneelifts to the face then tags Kane in and Kane decks Rock to prevent Taker from tagging out. Taker starts to fight back and caps it off with a boot but Kane hits a boot as well and both men are down. Both men start crawling toward their corners and Kane tags in Regal but Taker makes the hot tag to Rock. Rock hammers away on Regal in a corner and caps it off with the Smackdown then hits a belly-to-belly throw. Rock decks both Rikishi and Kane then plants Regal with the spinebuster but eats a clothesline from Kane. Taker clotheslines Kane over the ropes while Rikishi decides he’s had enough and starts to walk up the ramp. However Rock goes out after Rikishi and clotheslines him on the ramp then nails him with a shot below the belt. Rock then brings Rikishi back in the ring and Rikish finds himself surrounded as Rock and Taker attack him. Taker grabs Rikishi and manages to chokeslam him but Kane and Regal keep him and Rock from covering him. Kane pounds away on Taker in a corner and Regal does the same to Rock while Rikishi brings a chair in the ring. Regal holds Rock for Rikishi as he swings the chair but as usual Rock ducks it and Regal takes the shot instead. Taker then works Rikishi over while Rock drills Regal with a DDT and that actually gets the pin! *** This was allot of fun the Regal/Taker interactions was AWESOME. Rock was great at his selling during the heat segment. This also had a bunch of great near falls.

Post Match: Kane comes back in and doesn’t give them a chance to celebrate but Taker punches away at him in a corner. Rock works Rikishi over but Regal nails him from behind and takes him out with the inverted neckbreaker. Rikishi superkicks Taker then stands over him and has some parting words before hitting the sitdown splash. Kane chokeslams Rock to add the exclamation point and he, Rikishi and Regal stand over their fallen foes.

ROH Breakout 2008 - Cage Match for the ROH World Championship: Nigel McGuinness vs. Chris Hero (w/Sweet 'n' Sour Inc.)

Pinfall, submission or escape wins it. Hero was his in his "goofy, antics and posing/Super Athlete" gimmick so you know this had some funny moments, he did do some great stuff with a chair like the Boston Crab with him sitting on the chair. I really didn't get why this was a cage match mainly cause the "Cage" GIMMICK is suppose to eliminate outside interference from getting involved and sure it did that while the match was going on when ever Nigel tried to escape they would get involved and 2nd it's usually used for bitter/blood feuds and this wasn't that type of feud. 3rd they barely used the cage. Anyway!. I did like Hero working the leg was a sound strategy as it worked as a way to make McGuinness tap and as a way to prevent McGuinness from climbing the cage. Just a shame they didn't really do anything with that as the match was near the closing. ***1/2 - ***3/4

Boston Garden 12/07/1985 - Randy Savage (w/Elizabeth) vs. Ricky Steamboat

Obviously, wasn't on the level of the WM III match but god damn this was still good. This was more slower and more based on psychology and getting heat for Randy. Really old old school heel vs. face match and Steamboat bumped well for him. Just 10-12 minutes of fun. ***3/4

Stampede Wrestling May 1979 - Keith Hart, Bruce Hart & Bret Hart vs. The Dynamite Kid & The Kiwis

So the DVD takes us about 10 minutes into the match already, UGH! This was a pretty solid old school tag formula heels beating the shit out of the "Face" Harts. (HOLY SHIT Bret's body looks as white and skinny as El Generico) They did pick up the intensity and pacing towards the end tho. *** Pretty much an exhibition of what Stampede wrestling was all about back then.
