WWF Raw Is War 12/04/2000 - WWF World Heavyweight Title: Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho

Angle comes out first and gets on the mic saying New Jersey isn't associated with winners while complaining about not having time to prepare for this match but gets interrupted by Jericho’s intro. Jericho rushes the ring and starts off by coming off the ropes with a flying forearm. Jericho hammers away on Angle then goes for a whip, Angle reverses but Jericho hits a spinning heel kick. Jericho follows up with a springboard dropkick that sends Angle through the ropes then goes out and drops Angle onto the barricade before throwing him back in the ring. Jericho gets on the apron and Angle gets in some shots but Jericho snaps his neck on the rope. Jericho goes for a clothesline but Angle comes back with a belly-to-belly suplex. Angle beats Jericho down in a corner and chokes him then follows up with a suplex for a two count. Angle drops Jericho with a right hand and applies a chinlock, Jericho fights out of it and comes off the ropes rolling Angle up for a two count. Angle hits a back suplex for a near fall then whips Jericho and hits an elbow for another two ocunt. Jericho starts to fight back and goes for a whip, Angle reverses him into a corner and charges but eats a boot. Jericho hops to the middle rope and leaps off but Angle catches him into a belly-to-belly suplex for two. Angle rolls Jericho in a La Magistral but that only gets a two count. Angle applies a chinlock but Jericho counters the hold with a jawbreaker then kicks him down in a corner, Jericho goes for a whip, Angle reverses Jericho into the opposite corner and catches the boot but Jericho responds with an enzuigiri. Angle goes for a German suplex but Jericho reverses it into a rollup for a near fall. Jericho goes for a whip, Angle reverses but lowers the head and Jericho kicks the face then comes off the ropes with a clothesline. Jericho hops to the middle rope and connects with a missile dropkick that gets a two count. Jericho goes for a whip, Angle reverses and Jericho goes for a flying forearm but Angle ducks it and Jericho accidentally wipes out Earl Hebner. Jericho comes off the ropes with the bulldog then follows up with the Lionsault! Jericho covers Angle but Hebner is still out so referee Teddy Long runs in to count … but only gets two! Jericho whips Angle into a corner and charges but Angle sidesteps and Jericho runs into the ringpost. Angle goes for the Olympic Slam but Jericho lands on his feet and puts Angle in the Walls of Jericho. Long asks Angle if he wants to submit when he’s pulled out of the ring by Kane. Jericho goes over and pops Kane off the apron, causing him to fall on top of Long. However Angle hits a low blow followed by the Olymic Slam and Hebner revives to count the three. *** Really good for 6/7 minutes. The near falls after the ref bump and Kane interference, WOW. You knew Angle wasn't losing the title this close to the pay-per-view. At the same time Angle once again needed a run-in to bail him out instead of looking strong with a clean win.

WWF Armageddon 2000 - Intergender Elimination: The Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. The Radicalz (w/Terri)

This came about because Malenko won a date with Lita, which led to Lita drawing Dean back to the hotel where the Hardyz were waiting to jump Malenko. Terri is not on the Radicalz team, it's just three guys against two guy and one girls. Enjoyable opener but they tried too hard to cram all that action into eight minutes. Plus Malenko carried Lita to a decent showing for the last two minutes. *3/4 fuckit call it **

WWF Armageddon 2000 - European Title: William Regal vs. Hardcore Holly

Regal comes out first and gets on the mic saying he knows the fans are going to cheer for his opponent. Regal calls the fans slobs for not using handkerchiefs and wearing dirty overalls then accuses them of loving their farm animals. Hardcore comes out but doesn't get the big hometown pop until after he’s announced from Alabama. Hardcore charges in the ring and goes right to work on Regal, whipping him and hitting an elbow. Regal bails out to the floor and the referee keeps Hardcore from going out after him when Regal pulls him of the ring and tees off on him. Hardcore starts to fight back and rams Regal into the apron then goes for a whip but Regal reverses him into the ringpost. Regal throws Hardcore back to the ring but Hardcore hits a back suplex for a two count. Hardcore climbs to the top rope and leaps off but Regal gets his foot up to block him. Regal pops Hardcore with a European uppercut and sets him on the top rope then goes up and hits a superplex but only gets a two count. Regal covers for another two count then covers again and still only gets two. Regal puts Hardcore in a bow-and-arrow then releases it. Regal goes for a whip, Hardcore reverses it but lowers the head. Regal goes for a butterfly suplex but Hardcore counters it into a delayed suplex for a two count. Hardcore hits a clothesline then whips Regal and hits the dropkick. Hardcore follows up with the Hollycaust then climbs to the top rope and connects with an Alabama Jam but only gets two. Hardcore whips Regal and goes for a Frankensteiner but Regal counters into a powerbomb. Regal slaps on the Regal Stretch but Hardcore immediately grabs the bottom rope. Regal goes for the inverted neckbreaker but Hardcore counters with a short-arm clothesline, using his steel-plated arm. Regal seems out as the referee checks on him when Raven runs in the ring and drills Hardcore with the Evenflow DDT. Regal then crawls over and drapes an arm over Hardcore for the pin to retain. *1/2 This was still million times better than the match we got at survivor series, don't get to excited cause this was total shit too. Regal pre-match promo was better than this match.

WWF Armageddon 2000 - Last Man Standing: Chris Jericho vs. Kane

Man Jericho/KANE matches are awful which is strange cause during TV they usually have good interactions in Tag or 4 ways and they had plenty of them during '00, but when it came down to PPV and over 8 minutes they were slacking that spark. This was dull and had none of the intensity that the Triple H match at Fully Loaded. Not the mention a pretty cheesy ending. But at least this feud is finally done with. Part of me is wondering if they didn't go all out cause of the HIAC match. **

WWF Armageddon 2000 - Intercontinental Title: "The One" Billy Gunn vs. Chris Benoit

Benoit totally dismantled Gunn in there, which made the match a lot more fun than your average squash. It was like 10 minutes of a Benoit exhibition match and Benoit matches are always fun. This was just here to give the title to Benoit and move him to that feud with Jericho (DAT LADDER MATCH IS COMING:mark:) **1/2 would bump it higher if Billy would of sold the knee work.

WWF Armageddon 2000 - WWF Heavyweight Title, Hell in a Cell: Kurt Angle vs. The Rock vs. Steve Austin vs. Triple H vs. Rikishi vs. The Undertaker

Not quite the epic they were hoping it would be but lets be honest this really only had 2 weeks of build. Taker debuted the "Limp Bizkit's Rollin'" theme:mark:. I have never been a fan of this match for me i found it too clustered, There was too many people fighting to properly follow one fight and there was too many other distractions (Foley/Vince, some people fighting on the cell while others are *Somewhere else*, ect. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed the chaotic stuff going on but it really lacked any real story telling and was mostly just brawling. I just realized this was a perfect example of the attitude era just a giant overbooked mess. ***1/2

WWF Raw Is War 12/11/2000 - Tables Match: The Rock & The Dudley Boyz vs. Kurt Angle, Edge & Christian

So yes, the long opening talking segment was used to set up the first hour main event. Christian pounds on D’Von Dudley to start and goes for a whip but D’Von reverses and hits a hiptoss then follows up with an armdrag and a clothesline. Bubba Ray tags in and elbows Christian in the head then hits an elbowdrop. Edge tags in but runs right into a powerslam and Bubba whips him and hits a backdrop. Rock tags in and tees off on Edge then whips him and hits a Samoan drop … then covers for a two count? I though table matches aren’t supposed to have pinfall covers. Rock rams Edge into D’Von’s boot then tags him in to take over on Edge. D’Von goes for a whip but Edge reverses and Christian kicks him in the back. Edge lays the boots to D’Von then tags Angle in and Angle stomps D’Von down in a corner. Angle whips D’Von and hits an elbow then covers him but Earl Hebner reminds him there’s no pinfalls in table matches. I’m glad we got that clarified. Christian tags in and D’Von starts to fight back but Christian rakes the face. Christian whips D’Von and hits a Russian legsweep then applies a chinlock. D’Von fights out of the hold and comes off the ropes but runs into a knee. Edge tags in and sets D’Von on the top rope then goes up but D’Von shoves him off then connects with a flying shouldertackle. Both men start crawling to their corners and D’Von tags in Bubba but Christian distracts Hebner from seeing it and Hebner orders Bubba back to the corner while E&C work D’Von over. This type of match shouldn't even need tags to begin with like I keep saying. Edge hammers D’Von and whips him into a corner and charges, D’Von sidesteps him and Edge hops onto the middle rope but D’Von hits a neckbreaker and both men are down. D’Von tries to crawl to his corner and Edge tries to stop him but D’Von manages to tag in Rock. Angle tags in but Rock unloads on him and whips him, hitting an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Christian comes in but runs into a DDT and Rock pops Edge off the ropes as well. Rock plants Angle with a spinebuster and goes for the People’s Elbow but Edge pulls Rock out to the floor. Edge rams Rock into the announce table while Bubba slams Christian in the ring. Bubba sets Christian up while D’Von goes up and hits the “Wassup” headbutt. Bubba sends D’Von out for the table while he goes out and nails Edge on the floor. D’Von slides a table in the ring and sets it up while Bubba does the same with another table. Bubba sets Christian on his shoulders while D’Von climbs to the top rope and goes for the Dudleyville Device but Angle pulls the table out of the way. Edge pulls D’Von out of the ring and throws him into the barricade. Bubba tires to suplex Angle through a table when Angle floats over into a waistlock and goes to suplex Bubba through the table but Rock moves it out of the way. Rock clotheslines Angle and tries to Rock Bottom him through a table but Edge breaks it up. Angle rolls out to the floor but Rock grabs Edge and hits a Rock Bottom through the table for the win. D’Von passes Christian to Bubba on the top rope and Bubba superbombs him through the other table for good measure while Angle grabs his belt and walks off. *** Pretty fun match for the most part and should have been the main event.I still find the notion of enforcing legal man rules in a match like this to be completely asinine and devoid of any logic. That being said, they did it well, and the hot tag and finishing run of teased table spots ruled.

WWF Smackdown 12/14/2000 - Hardcore Match: The Undertaker vs. Raven

Three months into his WWF run and Raven finally gets a shot at a main event guy. Raven comes out first and gets on the mic bragging about what he did to Al Snow on Raw then tells Taker he’s like a trapped animal, most deadly when he’s cornered. Taker rides out to the ring on his motorbike and climbs in the ring as Raven readies a trash can lid. Raven takes a swing but Taker catches him with a boot the takes the lid and whacks him. Taker whips Raven into a corner and hits a clothesline then nails him with a trash can as we get a quick shot of Mick Foley and Debra watching the match form backstage. Raven rolls out to the floor and pulls out a tool box then grabs a wrench and nails Taker in the chest and in the back with it. Raven shoves Taker into a ringpost and takes another swing with the wrench but misses. Taker rams Raven into the ringsteps and into the apron then grabs him in a bear-hug and rams him into the ringpost. Taker throws Raven across the timekeeper’s table then grabs the steps and knocks Raven in the head, busting him open. Taker starts clearing off the announce table as we again see Foley and Debra enjoying this then grabs a chair and whacks him in the head with it. Taker then powerbombs Raven through the announce table with the Last Ride and the three is academic. Raven is left twitching in the table wreckage as Taker rides off after burying another talented jobber.

WWF Smackdown 12/14/2000 - Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock vs. Kurt Angle & William Regal (w/Kane)

So before the match Angle and Regal start heading to the ring when Kane suddenly comes out. However instead of going after them Kane apparently offers to be in their corner. Lawler mentions Angle did invite Kane over for Christmas so maybe that explains it, or not. :lmao Austin and Regal lockup to start and Regal gets in the first shots but Austin fires back and hammers Regal in a corner. Regal jabs the eye and goes for a whip, Austin reverses and goes for the Stunner but Regal shoves him off. However Regal wanders into the wrong corner and Rock and Austin knocks Regal back and forth before Austin whips Regal and hits a knee to the midsection for a two count. Austin whips Regal and Regal goes for a Sunset Flip but Austin tees off on him with rights. Regal tries to hook Austin’s shoulders with his legs but Austin rolls out of it and stomps him in the chest. Angle tags in but runs right into an armdrag. Rock asks to tag in so Austin obliges and Rock gets in his shots on Angle. Rock whips Angle and hits a forearm but Angle rakes the face to stop his offense. Angle whips Rock but lowers the head and Rock hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Rock rams Angle into Austin’s boot tags him in but Angle drives Austin into his corner. Regal tags in and goes for a whip but Austin reverses and applies a sleeperhold. Angle comes in but Austin catches him with a boot and knocks his and Regal’s heads together. Austin hits a snap suplex on Regal for a two count. Rock tags in and gets in a shot but Regal jabs his eyes and forces him into his corner. Angle tags in as wee see Vince McMahon watching the match from the back. (Man Vince is all over this show) Rock comes back and goes for a whip but Angle reverses it and Regal nails Rock from behind so Rock decks Regal off the apron. Rock catches Angle coming up behind him with a right and goes for the ropes but tumbles to the floor after Kane pulls the top rope down. Kane drops Rock onto the barricade and Regal gets in some shots before throwing him back in the ring. Angle lays the boots to Rock and whips him but Rock ducks a clothesline and fights back. Rock goes for a whip, Angle reverses him into a corner and Rock comes out looking for a Rock Bottom bur Angle elbows out of it. Rock blocks a kick into a Dragon legwhip then puts Angle in the Sharpshooter but Regal comes in to break it up as Vince feels the night will turn out well for him. Both men get to their feet and Angle charges at Rock but runs into a spinebuster. Rock goes for the People’s Elbow but Kane pulls Rock out of the ring and pops him. Austin runs over and tees off on Kane then throws him into the ringsteps while Rock climbs back in the ring but Angle and Regal double-team him. Both men whip Rock but Rock hits a flying clothesline on both men. Rock crawls to his corner and Angle grabs an ankle but Rock makes the tag to Austin. Austin takes it to both men and whips Regal into a clothesline and clotheslines Angle. Austin whips Angle and hits a spinebuster then whips Regal into a Lou Thesz Press and unloads on him. Suddenly Kane pulls Earl Hebner out of the ring then comes in and hammers Rock and Austin but they drop im with a double shot. Austin and Rock double-team Kane then Austin goes after Regal while Rock knocks Angle over the ropes with the Smackdown. Austin hits the Stunner on Regal and covers him but the referee is still out on the floor. Kane pulls Austin off and grabs him by the throat but Austin kicks Kane below the belt and clotheslines him over the ropes. Regal rolls out to the floor but Rock pops him then throws him back in and Austin hits Regal with a second Stunner to get the three. *** Good 9 minute tag. Austin doing a good amount of wrestling hold for TV is AWESOME, the other guys were great too.

Post Match: In the back, Vince gets a phone call from Shane, and he finds out Linda is in the hospital. He hunches over the sink breathing heavily, and he slowly brings his head up looking at the mirror with a legit horrifyingly evil smile on his face, like he's fucking possessed by Satan and shit. Vince McMahon is the best. :lmao

WWF Raw Is War 12/18/2000 - WWF Intercontinential Title: Chris Benoit vs. Jeff Hardy

JR mentions that Matt Hardy and the other Radicalz are barred from ringside for this match to leave it one-on-one. Benoit gets in the first shots whips Jeff but Jeff slides under the ropes. Benoit goes out after Jeff but Jeff climbs back in and hits a dropkick through the ropes then slings himself over the ropes into a plancha. Jeff throws Benoit back in the ring then climbs onto the apron but Benoit knocks him off. Benoit goes out and throws Jeff into the barricade then hits a back suplex and follows up with a snap suplex for a two count. Benoit works Jeff over with chops and a headbutt then whips Jeff into the a corner and hits a German suplex. Benoit holds on for a second German suplex then holds on for a third suplex. Benoit climbs to the top rope and connects with the diving headbutt but only gets a two count! Benoit goes for another suplex but Jeff turns in midair and falls on top of Benoit for a near fall. Jeff hits an inverted enzuigiri then goes for a whip, Benoit reverses but Jeff runs up the turnbuckles and hits the Whisper in the Wind for a two count. Jeff goes for the Twist of Fate but Benoit blocks it and flips Jeff in front of him then slaps on the Crossface and Jeff taps out just like that! Benoit eventually releases the hold and poses over Jeff’s fallen body. **1/2 - 3/4 Solid match that could have been a great one but they just had to cram everything into 4 minutes and we didn't even get a rest hold so it was BOOM, BOOM, BOOM for 4 minutes. Good Stuff!

Edge hops to the middle rope and leaps off but Taker catches him in a choke when Christian comes in to make the save but gets knocked down. Taker continues assaulting Edge in a corner but Edge slips out from there and gets in his own shots. Taker grabs Edge by the throat and throws him back into the corner for more punishment when Christian comes by but Taker throws him into Edge and tees off on him as well. Taker whips Christian into a corner then pops Edge before hitting Christian with a sidewalk slam. Edge clotheslines Taker and whips him but lowers the head and Taker hits a DDT. Rock tags in and gets in some shots then goes for a whip but Edge reverses it as Christian waits to attack Rock. Edge and Christian double-team Rock until Taker shoves the referee out of the way then chases Christian out to the floor. Edge chokes Rock on the mat then whips him and E&C hit a double slam before Christian covers for a two count. Christian lays the boots to Rock and whips him into an elbow then applies a chinlock. Taker pummels Christian and whips him into a corner and Christian staggers out into a powerslam. Taker catches Edge with a right hand and throws him over the ropes where Rock goes after him. The referee heads out to try and restore order while Taker grabs Christian’s arm and walks the top rope before clubbing him in the back and clotheslining him over the ropes. Rock rams Edge into the announce table but as Edge bounces back he accidentally knocks into the referee putting him out. Rock goes for a whip but Edge reverses him into the ringpost. Taker rolls Christian back in the ring and clotheslines him then plants him with the Last Ride! Taker covers Christian but the referee is still recovering on the floor and can’t count it. Edge brings one of the tag belts in the ring and waffles Taker with it then Christian covers him as the referee comes back in…but Taker powers out of the cover! Edge tags in and puts Taker in a sleeper to prevent a tag but Taker throws himself backward to break the hold and makes the tag to Rock. Rock wails away on Edge then whips him and hits a Samoan Drop. Rock works over Christian and caps it off with the Smackdown. Edge goes for a spear but Rock catches him into a spinebuster! Rock then drops the People’s Elbow on Edge and gets the 1..2..3 and we have new champions! *** Good match with the crowd totally into it cause it had a bunch of really great nearfalls and double hot tag segments. But there was no reason for Edge & Christian to drop the titles like that.

WWF Raw Is War 12/18/2000 - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. 'Steven' William Regal

Regal comes out first he gets on the mic and talks about Austin being a threat in the WWF with his appalling rampage and promises to make an example of him. Regal demands Austin come out when Austin charges in the ring and goes right to work on Regal. Austin rams Regal repeatedly into the turnbuckle and whips him and hits the Thesz Press. Austin unloads on Regal with right hands and caps off with an elbowdrop for a two count. Austin hits a series of kicks and follows up with a suplex for another two count. Austin chokes Regal on the middle rope and straddles him then jabs Regal in the eye and hits a clothesline for another near fall. Regal throws Austin through the ropes then goes out but Austin rams him into the announce table. Austin applies a headlock but Regal shoves him off into the ringpost then throws him into the post a second time before tossing him back in the ring. Regal lays the boots to Austin and chokes him on the mat. Regal whips Austin but lowers the head and Austin kicks the face and hits a clothesline for a near fall. Regal trips Austin with a drop toehold then hammers him in a corner with European forearms. Regal goes for a whip, Austin reverses him into a corner but Regal stops himself. Austin pummels Regal in a corner and shoves the referee away but Regal kicks him below the belt. Regal covers Austin while grinding the elbow but only gets a two count and covers him two more times but doesn't get the three. Austin wails away on Regal in a corner and stomps him down before flipping him off. Austin whips Regal and goes for a Stunner but Regal shoves him right into the referee. Regal hits the inverted neckbreaker and covers but the referee is still out and can’t count it. Regal brings his European belt in the ring and readies a swing but Austin catches him with the Stunner. Austin takes the belt himself and gets ready to use it when the referee comes to and, seeing Austin holding the belt, calls for the bell thinking Austin used it and gives the DQ decision to Regal. **1/2 They have an awesome 5 minute brawl with a ton of heat. Atleast Regal kinda won right?
