Thanks @Mr. Peanutbutter for this one: Who is the rightful WCW Commissioner?

2000-01-24 Sid Vicious - beats Nash on WCW Monday Nitro
2000-02-14 Jeff Jarrett - beats Sid on WCW Monday Nitro
2000-02-20 Sid Vicious (2) - beats Jarrett and Scott Hall in a Triple Threat match at WCW SuperBrawl 2000
[2000-02-28 Sid beats Tank Abbott for his leather jacket, and you know what that means...]
2011-01-31 Edge (7) - beats Miz on WWE Raw
Edge now has control of one company and commissions the other. So he's basically this thread's equivalent of 2001 Vince.
Well I have an issue with this because Mike Sanders, Ernest Miller and Lance Storm passed around the Commissionership after Nash had already lost it. In all honestly, I was hoping to see the lineage from the last WCW Commissioner who I think was Storm.
Yeah I support this, can you do it from the last time WCW had the commisionership up for grabs in a match Sky? Just to see if someone other than Edge gets it
Okay, then. Who is the rightful Commissioner of WCW, if you ignore all but the last match contended for the commissionership in WCW?
2001-02-18 Ernest Miller - beats Lance Storm at WCW SuperBrawl Revenge, snatching the title of commissioner from him.
2001-02-19 Buff Bagwell - beats Cat on WCW Monday Nitro
2001-03-12 Sean O'Haire - beats Buff, Lex Luger, and Chuck Palumbo in a Four Corners Elimination match on WCW Thunder

2001-06-23 Bruce Hart - beats Modest at a Stampede live event
2003-06-20 Duke Durrango - beats Hart at a Stampede live event
2003-07-26 Kirk Melnick - beats Durrango at a Stampede live event
2003-08-07 Duke Durrango (2) - beats Melnick at a Stampede live event
2004-05-07 Greg Pawluk - beats Durrango at a Stampede live event
2004-05-28 Duke Durrango (3) - beats Pawluk at a Stampede live event

2004-11-20 Harry Smith - beats Wilson at a Stampede live event
2005-05-31 George King - beats Smith on WWE SmackDown (dark)
So, if we choose to ignore the times Kevin Nash actually lost the commissionership, it ends on a dark match where the winner retired after.
Hey, remember the Hulk Hogan WWE Hall of Fame ring? That wasn't the only ring Abyss gained in 2010. But tracking it from Abyss' win would be boring, as he loses it to AJ Styles on the next Impact who loses it to RVD on the next Impact after that, and Hogan's ring is unified with Flair's, and it ends up with Strong Man. So let's take a different approach. Abyss handed his ring to Jay Lethal before the next Impact, who handed it back to Flair. Let's see what happens now that Flair's got it back: Who holds Ric Flair's first WWE Hall of Fame ring?

2016-11-13 Mike Gibson - beats Toxic and Mitch Thompson in a Three-Way Elimination match at BATTLEWAR 39
I had hope for it returning to Impact given that it's stuck in the Canadian indies. But Mike Gibson seems to have disappeared after winning the BATTLEWAR title. So, this is where it ends.
I learned two things:
- TNA World Champs didn't lose much
- Crimson's unbeaten streak really was legit

This Canadian indy nobody really has taken everything from Flair... of course, Edge is the sole owner of WWE technically, so what does it matter?
