Last night's Dynamite was 256

Nitro 256

Nitro episode 256 took place from the Sky Reach Palace in Kelowna, BC and aired on August 14, 2000. It was the fallout show from New Blood Rising 2000. I should have refused to follow the script and just not made this post.
  • Billy Kidman/Big Vito beat Shane Douglas/Reno (w/ Torrie)
  • Lance Storm beat Mike Awesome to retain the WCW United States Heavyweight Title (they did another screwy finish with the Canadian winning. In Canada. How is this company not dead already)
  • Jeff Jarrett beat Booker T by DQ, failing to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title (Goldberg interfered)
  • Norman Smiley beat Carl Ouellet to win the WCW Hardcore Title
  • Rey Misterio Jr./Juventud Guerrera (w/ Filthy Animalz) beat Vampiro/The Great Muta (w/ Demon) to win the WCW World Tag Team Titles
  • Elix Skipper beat Kwee Wee (w/ Papaya) to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Title
  • Sting beat Vampiro, the Great Muta, and the KISS Demon
  • Kevin Nash vs. Scott Steiner never started (hoo boy. So Nash came out with a giant box, and it was filled with a Scott Hall cardboard cut-out. He challenged Booker T, who came out, but Steiner attacked Booker. Goldberg then came up on the screen and put Midajah through a table. The camera cut off before we saw the table bump, though)

RAW 256

RAW episode 256 took place from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY and aired on April 20, 1998. It was the go-home show for Unforgiven: In Your House.
  • Faarooq beat Kama Mustafa in a Long Island Street Fight (refs had to clear the rest of the Nation away from the ring, and also stop Shamrock and Blackman from attacking)
  • Dan Severn (w/ Cornette) beat Mosh (w/ Thrasher)
  • Bradshaw beat The Artist Formerly Known as Goldust (w/ Luna) by DQ (Kai En Tai interfered)
  • Terry Funk/2 Cold Scorpio beat the New Midnight Express (w/ Cornette and Severn)
  • Triple H/Billy Gunn/Road Dogg (w/ X-Pac and Chyna) beat Owen Hart/LoD (w/ Sunny)
  • Dude Love beat Steve Blackman (after Vince screwjobbed him into a win)

SmackDown 256

SmackDown episode 256 took place from the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg, MB and aired on July 8, 2004.
  • Rob Van Dam beat Mark Jindrak
  • Billy Kidman/Paul London beat the Dudley Boyz to win the WWE Tag Team Titles
  • John Cena vs. Booker T for the WWE United States Title never started (Kenzo Suzuki and Luther Reigns both attacked Cena)
  • El Gran Luchadore beat JBL by count-out (Gran Luchadore this week was Shannon Moore. He switched out for a second Gran Luchadore played by Eddie Guerrero who made JBL look stupid)
  • Rey Mysterio/Spike Dudley/Scotty 2 Hotty beat Chavo Guerrero/Jamie Noble/Akio (an actual fun cruiserweight division match! Also almost a Jung Dragons reunion, just a shame they couldn't get Kaz Hayashi in)
  • John Cena beat Booker T by DQ to retain the WWE United States Title (Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns both interfered, then Angle stripped Cena of the US Title for knocking Angle over)

NXT 256

NXT episode 256 took place from Full Sail University and aired on February 18, 2015. It was the fallout show from NXT TakeOver: Rival.
  • Rhyno beat Elias Samson
  • Enzo Amore/Colin Cassady (w/ Carmella) beat the Vaudevillains
  • Sasha Banks beat Blue Pants
  • Kevin Owens beat Adrian Neville

Impact 256

Impact episode 256 took place from the Impact Zone and aired on May 21, 2009. It was the go-home show for Sacrifice 2009.
  • Christopher Daniels/Suicide beat the Motor City Machine Guns and Lethal Consequences
  • Sting beat Eric Young
  • Kurt Angle beat Matt Morgan
  • Jeff Jarrett beat Samoa Joe by DQ (Joe bumped a ref)
  • Mick Foley beat a cardboard cut-out of Rocky Balboa (yes, this happened. Jarrett's pissed at Foley for making a mockery of TNA, and Angle's pissed at Jarrett for the usual reasons. Sting was playing peacemaker)
