  • Chuck Palumbo/Sean O'Haire beat KroniK to retain the WCW World Tag Team Titles (the Perfect Event interfered)

  • Ernest "The Cat" Miller (w/ Ms. Jones) beat Bam Bam Bigelow
  • Shane Douglas beat General Hugh G. Rection to retain the WCW United States Heavyweight Title (Chavo interfered)
  • Kevin Nash beat Scott Steiner by DQ, failing to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title (the Magnificent Seven interfered)

RAW 276

RAW episode 276 took place from the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA and aired on September 12, 1998. On Saturday because tennis. If you're wondering where all the stars were on this show, their matches were on Heat. Which is why this card looked like an extended edition of Heat.
  • Edge beat Jeff Jarrett (w/ Southern Justice) by DQ
  • Bradshaw beat Droz
  • Marc Mero (w/ Jacqueline) beat Miguel Perez
  • Disciples of Apocalypse (w/ Ellering) beat Kurrgan/Golga (w/ Oddities) by DQ (ICP interfered)

  • Rob Van Dam beat Kenzo Suzuki (w/ Hiroko) by DQ

Not gonna lie things have been rough recently. I'm looking forward to not doing this any more. Most recent Dynamite was 277.

Nitro 277

Nitro episode 277 took place from the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC and aired on January 23, 2001. It was pre-empted to a Tuesday because fuck it, the company's dying, might as well do something better on a Monday.
  • Christopher Daniels vs. Michael Modest ended in a no contest (if you think this looks like "Scott Steiner kills a match by destroying two jobbers" you'd be sort of correct. They did get seven minutes to do their stuff before Steiner came out)
  • Lance Storm (w/ Team Canada) beat Konnan (w/ Filthy Animalz)
  • Lex Luger beat DDP (Jeff Jarrett interfered)
  • The Mamalukes beat Mark Jindrak/Shawn Stasiak by DQ (the other Natural Born Thrillers interfered)

  • Gangrel vs. Edge ended in a double count-out
  • Mark Henry beat X-Pac/Chyna (w/ HHH)
  • Sable beat Jacqueline in a Evening Gown match
  • Steve Austin vs. Ken Shamrock for the WWF Title ended in a no contest (Taker and Kane attacked everyone)

SmackDown 277

  • Rey Mysterio/RVD/Torrie Wilson beat Rene Dupree/Kenzo Suzuki/Hiroko
  • In Tough Enough: the future Ryback got voted off and the other three wore dresses and flirted with Hardcore Holly. How is WWE still alive?
  • Charlie Haas (w/ Jackie) vs. Jesus (w/ Carlito) never started (Carlito hit on Jackie, Haas tried to stop him and got beaten up)
  • The Basham Brothers (w/ JBL and Jordan) beat Eddie Guerrero/Booker T

  • Lance Storm (w/ Team Canada) beat Crowbar (w/ Daffney)
  • Jeff Jarrett vs. DDP never started (DDP was arrested. Apparently he was at a book signing, broke up a fight between fans, and accidentally knocked over a child so he was now facing an assault charge. WCW)

  • The Brothers of Destruction beat Steve Austin/Billy Gunn
  • Disciples of Apocalypse (w/ Ellering) vs. Southern Justice ended in a no contest (Jarrett attacked Ellering and everyone just stopped wrestling)
  • Al Snow beat Sgt. Slaughter in a Boot Camp match (the Stooges attacked Snow but Scorpio made the save)
  • Val Venis vs. Owen Hart ended in a no contest (Dustin Runnels interfered)
  • X-Pac beat D'Lo Brown to win the WWF European Title
  • The Rock vs. Mankind vs. Ken Shamrock ended in a no contest (Taker and Kane attacked everyone)

  • RVD/Rey Mysterio beat Kenzo Suzuki/Rene Dupree to win the WWE Tag Team Titles

Nitro episode 279 took place from the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo, MS and aired on February 5, 2001.

  • El Nino beat Chavo Guerrero Jr. (El Nino was Rey Misterio Jr. in another mask)
  • Chuck Palumbo/Sean O'Haire beat Lance Storm/Mike Awesome
  • Brian Adams vs. Buff Bagwell ended in a time limit draw (yes, that famous 5 minute 44 second time limit applied to WCW matches. Hey, it would explain the time they gave the rest of this card)
  • Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) beat Kevin Nash/Rick Steiner (Rick turned on Nash, this show looked so devastatingly bad)

RAW 279

RAW episode 279 took place from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI and aired on September 28. 1998. It was the fallout show from Breakdown: In Your House.
  • Southern Justice (w/ Jarrett) beat the New Age Outlaws by DQ, failing to win the WWF World Tag Team Titles (partner miscommunication lead to a tease of Billy Gunn quitting DX)
  • Dan Severn vs. Owen Hart in a Submission match ended in a no contest (they did a worked shoot of Owen breaking Severn's neck with a piledriver, because you gotta reference the Austin thing)
  • Al Snow (w/ Head) beat Vader (w/ Slaughter) (Vader kicked out early tho)
  • D'Lo Brown beat Gangrel, Droz, Jeff Jarrett, Marc Mero, and Edge (in that order) in an WWF European Title #1 Contender's Elimination match
  • Faarooq beat Mark Henry (Chyna was special ref, in a taste of that dreadful storyline they had together)
  • The Oddities beat the Headbangers
  • Val Venis (w/ Terri) beat X-Pac by DQ, failing to win the WWF European Title
  • Rock/Shamrock/Mankind beat the Brothers of Destruction

  • John Cena beat Jesus (w/ Carlito) in a Street Fight (they just re-showed the entire Armageddon match on SD)

Impact 279

  • Tara beat Alissa Flash (then Kong attacked Tara)
  • The Motor City Machine Guns beat Team 3D (there was a weird incompetent-ref current running through TNA shows around this time, and Devon claimed he didn't tap in this, he just hit the mat. If you ask me, what's the difference?)
  • Bobby Lashley beat Eric Young by DQ, failing to win the TNA Legends Title (Scott Steiner interfered)
  • The Beautiful People beat ODB/Hamada/Christy Hemme (and there you have it, that was Christy's last ever televised match)

Last Dynamite was 280. Make it stop please

Nitro 280

Nitro episode 280 took place from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, MS and aired on February 12, 2001. It was the go-home show for SuperBrawl Revenge.
  • Rick Steiner vs. Dustin Rhodes for the WCW United States Heavyweight Title never started (no idea what happened here. Ric Flair came out and fired Dustin midway though but then Cat came out and reinstated him)
  • Lance Storm beat Ernest "The Cat" Miller (w/ Ms. Jones) for the WCW commissionership (this was made by Ric Flair. Crooked ref Mike Sanders called for the bell when there was no submission, because hey, it's Montreal somewhere)
  • Jimmy Yang beat Lash LeRoux in a WCW Cruiserweight Title #1 Contender's match
  • Dustin Rhodes beat Rick Steiner (non-title, but if Dustin had lost he'd be fired, and because he won Kevin Nash got an early title shot. Anyway, Animal and Shane Douglas both interfered)
  • Billy Kidman beat Elix Skipper
  • Shawn Stasiak beat Chuck Palumbo (and massively botched the finish)
  • Kevin Nash (w/ David Flair) beat Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) by DQ, failing to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title (where to begin? Nash came out with David Flair, whom he attacked just to stick it to Ric despite the family feud that underpinned the last year of programming. Despite the promise of everyone being banned from ringside, Rick Steiner, Lex Luger, Cat, KroniK, and Ric Flair all interfered. The Flair interference was what caused the DQ despite it being the least effective and Nash no-sold it. This company, holy fuck. Who created the narrative that WCW was showing signs of life in the final weeks? They're a lying bastard)

RAW 280

RAW episode 280 took place from the Breslin Center in East Lansing, MI and aired on October 5, 1998.
  • D'Lo Brown (w/ Mark Henry) beat X-Pac (w/ Chyna) to win the WWF European Title
  • The Headbangers vs. Insane Clown Posse never started (just a big old brawl until the Oddities interfered)
  • Marc Mero (w/ Jacqueline) beat Vader
  • Edge beat Owen Hart by forfeit (Owen came out and apologised for ""legit"" hurting Dan Severn before leaving)
  • Ken Shamrock beat Kane (after Taker came out and "accidentally" cost Kane)
  • Val Venis (w/ Terri) beat Gangrel (w/ Christian) by count-out (Edge came out to challenge Christian, and the Brood attacked Edge forgetting about the match)
  • Al Snow (w/ Head) beat Jeff Jarrett by DQ (Slaughter interfered)
  • Road Dogg (w/ X-Pac and Chyna) beat Mark Henry (w/ D'Lo Brown)
  • The Undertaker beat the Rock (despite Kane's interference)

SmackDown 280

SmackDown episode 280 took place from Camp Speicher in Tikrit, Iraq and aired on December 23, 2004. Tribute to the Troops!
  • Booker T beat Rene Dupree
  • The Undertaker beat Heidenreich by count-out
  • Hardcore Holly beat Kenzo Suzuki
  • Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio beat Kurt Angle/Luther Reigns

NXT 280

NXT episode 280 took place from Full Sail University and aired on August 12, 2015.
  • Tye Dillinger beat Solomon Crowe
  • Baron Corbin beat Axel Tischer
  • Finn Balor beat Marcus Louis
  • Bayley beat Becky Lynch in an NXT Women's Title #1 Contender's match (oh yeah, it's all coming together for Brooklyn)

Impact 280

Impact episode 280 took place from the Impact Zone and aired on November 5, 2009. This is also the one where they aired a Dixie Carter promo where she basically told the roster legit to get behind her or fuck off. Great idea!
  • Beer Money, Inc. beat Eric Young/Rob Terry (and then the British Invasion and MCMG both came out for the brawl)
  • Desmond Wolfe beat Cody Deaner
  • AJ Styles vs. Daniels never started (Samoa Joe attacked both men)
  • Bobby Lashley (w/ Kristal) beat Homicide
  • Taylor Wilde beat Madison Rayne (w/ Velvet and Lacey) (Wilde got swarmed by TBP but ODB and Sarita made the save)
  • AJ Styles beat Daniels (Samoa Joe was special ref, and attacked both men again)
  • Matt Morgan/Hernandez beat Team 3D by DQ
