Yeah it would be something Christian wants... but that doesn't mean it is best for business. What is best for business... is sense the belt isn't gonna be defended until the PPV, the belt is going to be on the line at the PPV, leave the belt vacated and the triple threat will determine the champ. Having the belt vacated for 2 or 3 shows is not going to hurt anything at all. BUT handing the belt over to someone that had a money in the bank cashed in on him is essentially erasing what happened and pretending that he never got cashed in on.
The immediate look... yeah its good. But the deeper look it isn't pretty. I would have much rather seen it vacated since the champ had to leave and it be awarded to the winner at the PPV. It looks a whole lot better than just a simple hand out saying... here you got cashed in on and lost but the guy had to quickly leave so you can get your belt back.
