Re: Huge news regarding Brock Lesnar and WrestleMania 29

I am going to lulz so fucking hard if this all turns out to be some sort of elaborate April Fool's prank and Brock/Batista aren't even there.

Don't expect Batista to be there. It's Brock that's in serious negations. And how would we know if it's april fools day prank. If he doesn't show up it could just be for the reason that him and wwe couldn't come to an agreement.

Re: Huge news regarding Brock Lesnar and WrestleMania 29

And the storyline is...

Could be any number of things. Maybe Brock comes on Monday and is just there for a little bit of publicity, and arrogantly, Triple H comes out and says that he never got a thank you for letting him appear, and Brock could come back and say that Triple H never thanked him for leaving the WWE and letting him have all the world title reigns that he wouldn't have had if he was around. Then, feeling challenged, Triple H gets pissed and assures Lesnar that if he had stuck around, he would have kicked his ass and won just as many titles. And then of course Lesnar wants Triple H to prove it... at Mania of course.

Or, Lesnar could play to Triple H being the owner of Mania and be the heel in the scenario, and joke about how he owns a fake wrestling company. Lesnar talks about leaving to find some real competition, and then to protect the good name of wrestling, Triple H challenges Lesnar to a match, no holds barred, and they make it seem like a legit battle, not just a pro wrestling match.

Since Triple H basically runs the number one 'fake' wrestling promotion in the world and Lesnar fancies himself to be a 'real' wrestler, there are a lot of ways to go with it. Maybe HHH even feels like Lesnar got his ass kicked in MMA so many times he had to tuck tail and run back to WWE, but even in WWE he's gonna get his ass kicked (even though in reality, Lesnar didn't get his ass kicked too many times. Only 3... but still..)

There are a lot of ways to build it, imo. And don't start an argument please. If you don't support the match, that's fine, but we don't need any more conflict in this thread than what there aready is.

Also, Batista IS there, but I don't really think he'll be involved in any capacity. Prolly just watch the show, make a little cameo appearance as part of the crowd or something. But he's definitely in Miami, that's believable.

No there not just going to say "oh look former world champion Batista is in attendance" and then have him wave to the camera. Just no

They might say "Former WWE world champion and MMA star, Batista" though.

Maybe.

But he'll be there. Somewhere.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. You never know with these dirt sheets.

Re: Huge news regarding Brock Lesnar and WrestleMania 29

Flair was his mentor, so that's a fair assumption. They'll at least mention his role in mentoring Batista, and they might get a shot of him clapping. It's hard to tell, tbh.

- The Four Horsemen are up next as Dusty Rhodes makes his way out to do the induction. Dusty talks about how unique the Horsemen were and calls Ric Flair a national treasure. Dusty talks about Flair with a lot of passion.
*
Dusty goes on to talk about his famous feuds with the Horsemen and calls Arn Anderson the Horsemen’s heartbeat. Dusty puts over the others before introducing The Four Horsemen to a nice ovation.
*
A big “Thank You Horsemen” chant breaks out and it’s amazing. Flair gets chants to come back and he says “I want to…” Flair gets emotional as he talks about his career and what the Horsemen were.
*
Tully Blanchard is stylin’ but talks about his father who passed away recently. It changes the look on the others faces. Arn Anderson is up next and our correspondent reports that he gets the biggest pop of anyone so far out of all the inductions. Arn also gives one of the bet speeches so far of the night and puts over JJ Dillon, Bobby Heenan and Paul Ellering as managers.
*
Arn also puts over CM Punk. The rumors of Arn being a big CM Punk fan are true. He gives high marks to Randy Orton, Big Show, Rey Mysterio and John Cena. Cena’s name looks to get boo’d but Arn calls Cena the best human being that he knows and the crowd approves.

Professor Booty - true that

ViperRKO - I'm talking about the victory lap they traditionally do during WrestleMania where they honor them once more, but they don't give speeches.
