  1. Does Anyone Care for Sting?

Sting will never goto WWE. He said he'd never work for Vince and has stuck with it. After WCW was bought out, Vince wanted to talk to Sting about a long term contract. He refused. As of now... before we throw Sting under a bus, let's see what happens at Lockdown. I obviously don't expect to see...
  2. Does Anyone Care for Sting?

Sting will always be my favorite wrestler. He got me watching TNA.
  3. Has Kaz Been Forgotten Already?

Good point. He doesn't have a lot of mic skills but the crowd still loves him. When you mention that, Shannon Moore has very good mic skills. Which brings me to thinking that maybe they are trying to develop Kaz in that way as we haven't seen him for awhile. Though I disagree with you on this...
  4. Has Kaz Been Forgotten Already?

I hear what you're saying but I don't believe they forgot about Kaz. Yes, right now they are building up Shannon Moore and I think he could be good for the X Division but I agree that Kaz needs to be the big dog in the X Division. I'm thinking (and hoping) that Shannon Moore defeats Doug...
  5. ECW or NXT?

ECW was cool when it started but ECW is Raven, Jerry Lynn, RVD, Sabu, Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Taz, Cactus Jack, BWO, and wrestlers like that. If WWE wanted to add a third show, it shouldn't have been called ECW because it was not ECW. Vince's ECW wasn't any different from Smack Down or...
  6. When Did You Start Watching TNA?

I saw a little bit of TNA around 04 but I wasn't really impressed. At that time, I thought the ring entrance too much like American Gladiators. Not to mention that Hall and Nash's ring attire looked like something purchased out of a tennis catalog. When Sting came to TNA, that got my attention...
  7. Who Is the Most Overrated Wrestler in the WWE

Cena is great. Incredible athlete with great mic skills. He can really work the crowd but I don't care for him. I'll give him all kinds of credit for his success but IMO, WWE has overdone it with Cena. Then again it depends on how you look at it. Cena has made more money for WWE than you can...
  8. ECW or NXT?

I vote "none." I hated Vince's version of ECW... absolutely horrible! I saw the NXT opener and have no desire to see it again.
  9. Not Blowing as Hard This Week

I'd bet money that they'll get over 1.0 next week. And unless they do something extremely stupid, they'll continue to grow.
  10. TNA, Hogan, and Monday night.

That sounds about right. I don't know much about ROH. When I had expanded cable, they had a show that aired two times. I was quite impressed with the talent. The only names I knew were Jerry Lynn and 2 Cold Scorpio. One thing I didn't like was the handshake before each match. To me, that took...
  11. TNA, Hogan, and Monday night.

Being a regional product is fine but if you have the opportunity to be something bigger, you should do it. I gather that the complaints we're hearing about the current TNA Impact is mostly from fans that have been following it since 2002. They liked things the way they were and I can understand...
  12. Is it time for Jay Jethal to drop the "Black Machismo" character?

Don't get me wrong... I like Lethal and I used to like "Black Machismo" but in the last two shows, I though it was kind of annoying. Especially when Hogan started talking to him like he's Savage. IMO... that character worked at the time but it doesn't work as TNA is evolving. That gimmick can...
  13. Not Blowing as Hard This Week

Hogan had very little to do with last night's show except the introduction on the teams in Lockdown... which lead to a great RVD/Storm opening match. Great match, great ending! I liked the ending of the show. I thought the Love/Tara fight was cool... only I would have liked to see Daffney show...
  14. OK, that's enough, get OJ off my *%&$ TV!!

Good point. I really didn't think anything of it. It was very brief and IMO, didn't make or break the show.
  15. TNA, Hogan, and Monday night.

Everybody has their opinions on where TNA is currently and most of us agree that some changes need to be made but here are some questions to ask... Had they not brought in Hogan, would TNA be recognized in the mainstream media today? I say "Absolutely Not!" Right now, no TNA originals are...
  16. Will Roode and Storm Be Successful Singles Now?

I think they should keep them together and start a major rivalry between them and RVD/Hardy. Then ditch Team 3-D and the Nasty Boys to make room in developing Generation Me and MCMG.
  17. Steps You Might Take To Help TNA

This is the biggest thing that needs to happen. As great as the TNA talent is, they're not big draws. People outside of the wrestling crowd don't know the names of any TNA originals. Though I can see Pope becoming HUGE! His character will become a major seller once recognized. They also need to...
  18. Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, Good or Bad for TNA?

Bringing in Hogan got the attention of the main stream media... something TNA didn't have before. So that part of it was good. As of now, I agree that Hogan needs less time on the air. That needs to change but I still say a 3 hour show is the key.
  19. Holy fuck...It BLOWS and SWALLOWS!!

There has been some good points brought up in this thread but I have a question... Has anybody in here who has watched Impact on a weekly basis stopped watching it? With all this talk about TNA losing their original fans, I'm just curious.
  20. Of course; TNA contacts Dreamer, but Dreamer not happy about TNA Monday Nights

    Actually, that helped Nitro tremendously!
