I believe ECW was really at a strong point when it ended. I mean, for a short period, I hated ECW (I think some time in 2008) and NXT did impress me, but it stopped. Even then, ECW was still better for me.
By far ECW. NXT is boring and I stopped watching after 3 episodes. It's not tied in to any storylines or anything. I think WWE should stop worrying about Tuesday and Thursday night programming and bring back the concept of streaming matches on wwe.com
NXT is a waste of possible talent. I don't know how many guys will get contracts but if either of Barrett/Otunga/Gabriel/Bryan or even Slater miss out it's a shame.
ECW was great anyway, especially in the Mark Henry era and the Christian era.
ECW by far. It went out at its highest point since being brought back. I actually started to care about if a year or so before it went under. Much like the old ECW lol. I like the concept of NXT, but the execution is a fail. Other then Otunga and Daniel Bryan I cannot see any of them getting a serious push afterwords except maybe Wade Barrett. But other then that if they get WWE contracts I see a few matches on Raw or Smackdown then it's either Superstars or Future endevored for them.
ECW by far. Everyone except for Otunga and Barrett can seriously just gtfo. Seriously what a horrible and uninteresting spread of "talent" on this show. And yes, Daniel Bryan falls into the gtfo category, the guy has been nothing buy boring and annoying since coming onto the show. If I want to listen to someone sound like an internet smark I'll come here.
Daniel Bryan, honestly I couldn't give a shit about, which I have elaborated on before. But honestly even though he is supposed to be face he is coming off to me at least as a heel. With his whole "I don't need NXT I have been wrestling for 10 years" bullshit.
I honestly love the fact that Daniel Bryan has lost the most matches of anybody on NXT. Last time I checked he was 0-5 lol.
Otunga is really the only one of the NXT guys that I think is ready for the WWE. Barrett I am a fan of but I think that he needs a little more polishing before he is ready for the main roster.
Otunga is too much. At first his little intro promo came off as ridiculous but now that we've gotten to know him it works perfectly.
"Look and this face lookin so fresh n so smooth."
"You know who else went to Harvard? The president! We in the same club"..LMAO
