They used to bring it on TheFightNetwork in Canada but it was a free preview so I only got to see it for a few months. It was around the SeX with Russo when I started but it was old stuff from a year or two earlier so I really started in 2004-5.

It was just refreshing, new faces, new talent. It nice from the same old same old and around that time I stopped watching WWE. They showed the D-lo Brown/Styles ladder match and I was a fan. I cheered for SeX because I hated Jarrett, I was a big Samoa Joe fan because they (TheFightNetwork) aired old ROH matches too and Joe was a BEAST!

2005.

The very same night when Christian debuted. I was sadden he was gone from WWE. I was channel surfing one night and seen a ring with 6 sides and was like "what the hell is this?'' Then Christian came out and I marked like a bitch. Been watching ever since.

Christian debut was on the Genesis 2005 ppv. Do you mean the first Impact he was on?

I remember back in the days when the X Division was the shit. The matches that AJ/Lynn/Low Ki had weree fucking amazing. The Triple Ladder Match they had in like 2002 has got to be one of the best ladder matches I have ever seen. I honestly prefered TNA in 2002-2006ish over the WWE.

In the early days I loved it, The X division was awesome with guys like AJ, Lynn, Low Ki and Petey Williams. Some of the early X division matches have still yet to be topped imo.

Abyss was still a beast, his feud with AJ was pretty awesome imo. The match @ Lockdown 2005 I think is one of, if not Abyss' best match.

AMW and Triple X was one of the better early TNA feuds imo. The AMW/New Church matches were fucking brutal.

I don't know about anyone else but I was a huge 3LK mark.

Pretty sure there ratings have been exactly the same (1.0-1.2) even when Angle came in, who was the first big major WWE talent. So...

Angle, if anything just gave TNA a consistant rating after he came in. If I remember correctly they were really inconsistant in ratings. After he came in they were consistant in getting about a 1.0. Him, Christian and Sting were really imo the only WWE/wCw talents that helped more then they hurt. The rest kind of just took up space.

I first ordered a weekly payperview show back in 2003 I think it was. It was around the time New Jack and Saturn and Sandman were in there feuding with the new church. Then I started hardcore following them when they got the FSN deal and we're actually putting on great matches.

I saw a little bit of TNA around 04 but I wasn't really impressed. At that time, I thought the ring entrance too much like American Gladiators. Not to mention that Hall and Nash's ring attire looked like something purchased out of a tennis catalog.

When Sting came to TNA, that got my attention. He'll always be my favorite wrestler! I became a regular Impact viewer in 2008.

I started watching in like 2004 when they had the hour long show on Fox Sports Network at like 4 in the afternoon lmao the shit was awesome back then. 3 Like Krew, Team Canada, AMW, AJ tearing up the X division. That's when it was great imo. Its changed so much since them

Late 06-Early 07. I can't exactly remember, but it might have been 2-3 shows before Angle debuted.

I used to watch it too. I started watching TNA with the first Impact on FSN, I was too cheap to buy the weekly PPVs, but read the weekly reports. I sadly still remember the timeslot, Friday afternoons at 4 PM. I think they also did a late-night replay too. I dug the Raven-Sabu feud, which included Sonjay Dutt when TNA actually decided to use him well, unlike the Guru character he had that went on way too long. Abyss was a blueberry back then too. He was managed by Goldylocks & she would berate him during matches. I think Jarrett should have dropped the belt to Monty Brown, it would've been a nice change of pace from Jarrett constantly holding the title.
