  1. I guess RVD doesn't equal ratings

Who is a more well known name in TNA at this moment? Jeff Hardy, possibly but who else?
  2. I guess RVD doesn't equal ratings

Elijah Burke is not a TNA original but "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero is and I'd bet money that he'll be way more successful than the days of Vince's horrible ECW. Nigel McGuinness is not a TNA original either but Desmond Wolfe is already more successful. ei: Those characters are TNA originals. As...
  3. The greatest wrestling promo of all time

I actually liked it when he an Bischoff were working together in WCW (at least going by when they were on camera). It was very short lived but it was the answer after NWO was gone and it was then Veterans vs. New Blood. Had Time Warner let Bischoff continue to be Bischoff, I think we'd still...
  4. I guess RVD doesn't equal ratings

RVD is not Hulk Hogan (when he was fighting), The Rock, Austin, etc. BUT he's a bigger name than AJ Styles, Pope, Wolfe or any other TNA originals (at this point). Think of this... at one point RAW was pathetic and had NO competition, yet USA Network stuck with them. Right now, Impact is...
  5. The injury update is cool!

It's never good to hear that somebody got hurt but injuries happen. I like that ticker at the bottom of the screen... last night they mentioned Daffney's injury from last week. Apparently Angelina Love got hurt in that three way match last night, so they mentioned it on the ticker later in the...
  6. TNA Ranking System (Vote for Wolfe!)

I took Pope but if he doesn't win, Wolfe or Anderson would be the best bet.
  7. TNA Blew Their Load to Quickly

And Jericho duked it out with Goldberg in WCW while Goldberg was champion. Beniot got a few PPV main events in WCW and held the US title plenty of times. I think the biggest reason for them going to WWE was not because WCW had no plans to build them higher but because Time Warner set standards...
  8. TNA Blew Their Load to Quickly

OK but who were Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho before WCW? NOBODY!!! I agree that WCW should have given those guys title shots but how long was it till WWE gave them the title? Chris Jericho - 2 years Chris Benoit - 4 years Eddie Guerrero - 4 years WWE was not instant success...
  9. so what happened with joes "kidnappers"

And that's probably why TNA didn't do just that.
  10. One of the greatest interviews of all time

At first I didn't like the Mr. Kennedy/Mr. Anderson, WWE/TNA transformation at all but now that's one of the best things going for them. Just hope he can still have great matches without Angle.
  11. TNA Blew Their Load to Quickly

They are still building up those guys and it will take time. There's a reason why they had Flair buddy up with AJ. Now there's a reason why RVD is champion. Star status creates new stars. No star status... no advancement.
  12. TNA stepped up.

And they can't create more PPV quality matches when that time comes, why? In an attempt to get viewers to switch from Raw to Impact, I say they're doing all the right things right now.
  13. TNA Blew Their Load to Quickly

I thought last night's show was great. I don't know why some people have a problem with putting PPV quality matches on their show. Those saying RVD was slow... well that's bound to happen after you had a match with a big name guy not even an hour before hand. And no... giving RVD the title...
  14. Slowly but Surely Not Blowing

Just missing 1.0. They'll be fine!
  15. Star power isn't everything

As I said "that's where it starts." Raw had it's time of horrible ratings. Like in the early 90's, watching it was an embarrassment. That was with characters like Papa Shango, Dr. Issaac Yankem DDS, Viscera, and many of the worst wrestling characters ever.
  16. Star power isn't everything

They were successful in WCW but became bigger in WWE. Though none of them ever got the heavy weight title in WCW... they had big fan followings, their t-shirts were selling, and they held other titles. Another name that became huge in WCW and is now huge in WWE... The Giant, now known as the...
  17. Star power isn't everything

This I can agree with but now that TNA is a big name, they can do what they want... and like I said "it took the Hogan signing to get them there." WCW did something similar which slowly developed stars like Diamond Dallas Page, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerreor, Booker T, Chris Jerrico, etc. The...
  18. Star power isn't everything

Sting, Angle, and Booker T got TNA credibility among wrestling fans. Hogan got TNA into Mainstream Media. Bottom Line... Everybody knows what WWE is. Before bringing in Hogan, the vast majority of people (who do not follow wrestling) didn't know what TNA is. Now most of those people know what...
  19. "Bubba"

I have no idea who he is or what roll he is playing. I completely don't see what he brings to The Band. I guess we'll find out.
  20. Has Kaz Been Forgotten Already?

Didn't someone else take the Suicide character after Kaz's injury?
