I'm just laughing at everyone who said RVD is draw..... No, no he's not.

TNA needs to just go back to Thursdays, so at least people who watch Raw might tune into TNA, instead of splitting (used lightly) the audience.

The only "Original" you named was AJ lol, but I digress.

Yeah, the ratings were bad. But do ratings really matter all that much? I mean on January 4th Raw crushed Impact in the ratings, but other then the Bret Hart return nothing was all that good on Raw that night. Same goes for the March 8th I think it was episode of Raw. It sucked and Impact was much better by comparison.

Elijah Burke is not a TNA original but "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero is and I'd bet money that he'll be way more successful than the days of Vince's horrible ECW.
Nigel McGuinness is not a TNA original either but Desmond Wolfe is already more successful.
ei: Those characters are TNA originals.

As for rating... they matter to Spike. Though I say "so far, so good".

Who is a more well known name in TNA at this moment?
Jeff Hardy, possibly but who else?

RVD would draw, it's just the fact that TNA sucks and no one even knows he's there. Jeff would draw more though. Btw, even Hogan's advertising campaign was only on Spike/TNA shows. How would this attract viewers when you're telling the TNA fans that Hulk Hogan is coming?

OUCH.

Like I said before, ratings don't mean anything to me and shouldn't really mean anything to the fans, unless you really want to laugh your ass off.

You're right in as mch as they shouldn't influence ones mark-dom, but in terms of understanding why things do and don't happen within a fed they are of huge importance.

There was a time when ratings really didn't matter. Once Monday Nitro was created the wrestling world changed forever. At the time it seemed like the war would last forever. Somehow ratings have become a barometer of sorts for a company's well being. Bad rating could mean the end of a company. It shouldn't but it does.

It was definitely a mistake for TNA to move to Mondays. Everybody can see that. The formula that they need to use is to build up your fanbase and viewers on Thursdays. And while you are on Thursdays, do the necessary things to be able to compete with Raw ex. making the Impact Zone look less cheaper. After you have done all of this if you feel you are ready, go back to Mondays.

Because TV channels don't like to waste money. Ratings=Money. Why do you think so many networks pull sitcoms off the air after one season? They don't get any ratings and they aren't making them any money.
