Mass Effect 3: Take Earth Back Teaser - YouTube

    :mark:
Can't say the idea of "death by black hole" doesn't intrigue me

I'm guessing not all of them are humongous dreadnoughts like Sovereign was. From the trailer vids, it seems a good number of them are though, like the ones you see destroying London and San Francisco (really hope NYC gets Reaper'd btw). Some seem to look different though, like the one Shepard's shooting with the machine gun mounted on the back of that jeep... that thing looked a lot smaller than Sovereign.

The other thing I'm really looking forward to is the Geth/Quarian situation. I'm seriously anticipating that almost as much as the invasion of Earth. I fucking LOVE Legion and Tali and that whole back story behind the Geth and Quarians. That side-story has me hooked more than any other video game's side story that doesn't directly impact the main plot. I'm going to assume ol' Quib Quib didn't get his way and the Quarians go to war. Why tease the idea of combat in a combat-based game and NOT do it, you know?
I'm sure the Reapers are going to be a lot harder to take down than anything your firearms can manage. Absolutely clueless as to how you end up taking those things down in ME3. Since they're spaceships technically, I would imagine you go inside at least a couple of them. But I expect them to give us some new situations we haven't seen before. Things like that sky way chase in Shadow Broker DLC. That's what I'm hoping for anyways.
Look at Jeff Hardy, for example, he was a main-eventer quite frequently at one point and would have continued to be if he didn't leave the WWE. He was a tag team wrestler for a very long time and I didn't think he would ever be the WWE champion but it happened. This is just an example, by the way, I don't like Jeff. If CM Punk continues to be a fan favorite, there is no reason as to why he should be a mid-carder.
Yes, I do agree that Chris Jericho has deserved much more throughout his career. I don't understand how someone like Triple H could even be considered a main-event star. Don't get me wrong, I understand that he has been but he isn't the greatest or most interesting wrestler. I remember back in 2003, he was pushed down everyone's throat consistently and nobody really wanted to see him as champion. Excuse my venting but I think Jericho is ten times better than Triple H has ever been. Anyway, I understand that you are a CM Punk fan and want see him as a main-eventer for a while but don't despair, just because he has a match with Jericho at Mania doesn't mean he'll be a mid-carder after that.
I really hope they bring back the Cain on ME3, I really do. Thing is just too much fun.

Have you used the M-96 Mattock assault rifle? It's on the Firepower DLC. Great gun, puts holes in everything. Just found out there's a Geth assault rifle on Tali's dossier mission if you play on hardcore or insanity. Think I'm gonna have to go find this bad boy now.
No offense to Punk but his mic work has been pretty lame as of late. I enjoyed his character in the summer but over the past couple of months, I haven't found him particularly interesting. I am glad to see that Jericho is bringing back so much engery and I am sure that this feud will solidify Punk's in ring ability and mic skills.
Yes but don't you agree that many people wanted to see this feud? I know that a lot of WWE fans were looking forward to Punk vs Triple H at Summerslam but that didn't happen. It would of worked back then because Punk was a heel (well more like tweener) and Triple H was a face. They ruined that feud; therefore it wouldn't make sense to have him face Triple H at Mania. If they would have stuck with it, then I would have agreed. Punk would have been a face eventually (which is what that feud seemed to be leading into) and Triple H a heel. They wanted us to witness Taker vs Triple H again which doesn't make any sense. Their match last year was pretty dreadful but anyway, we'll see what happens with Punk. I doubt his momentum will die because he is going to face Chris Jericho but at the same time, the guy will stay relevant if he has an interesting storyline and if he remains impressive on the mic.
Can't believe the Cain doesn't kill the thresher maw though. I watched a youtube vid on killing that thing, and the cloaking ability with infiltrator and a sniper rifle seems to work great against it. I might do a renegade run-through as an infiltrator. That's my second favorite class. Gonna go Cain-wild on it too. When you absolutely positively have to kill every motherfucker in the room, except no substitute.
:lmao I know EXACTLY what vorcha you're talking about too. Left halfway, all the way to the end, and right around the fucking corner. Pisses me OFF. Can't even lock on with an overload because it's at such a weird angle. I found sending my squad mate in ahead of me works a little. It sucks though because I never have any squad mates with a fucking shotgun yet, so I have to do most of the KILLING stuff myself. I get the squad mate to just get in there and draw the fire (no pun intended) and I peer around the corner and hit him with reave and blast away. And I don't know why, but almost every time after I finally kill that bastard, I immediately send a shockwave barreling down the hallway wiping out everything else. Not sure if it's to relieve the frustration that finally killing that guy just doesn't do on it's own or a victory parade, but either works. Hate, fucking HATE that guy.
I played Arrival today actually. I kept trying to get the achievement for surviving all the waves when they all start attacking you, but fuck. I'm playing as an Adept on Hardcore difficulty and it's fucking impossible. Even cornering myself all the way to the left of the room, spamming the fuck out of Reave and cleaning out the room with the rocket launcher right before the heavy mech walks in, it is a pain in the fucking ass. I might try again later with the M920 Cain and just nuke the whole front of the room to high hell on that wave. Can't seem to cause enough damage fast enough. And by the way... that M920 Cain is my new favorite toy. Never really used it much, but there's really no better way to go. I took down half the Human Reaper's health in one shot, completely took down the derelict reaper's drive core with one shot, straight up DESTROYED Donovan Hock's bullshit plane in one shot. That thing is a fucking mad man.
I see what you mean but personally, I don't oppose the feud because I think CM Punk and Jericho in the ring is a lot more interesting than Triple H and Punk. I think Triple H is pretty boring in the ring. His match with Taker last year at Mania was actually pretty uneventful (big move after big move). I'm not concerned about star power as much as watching a match that I enjoy. I think that a lot of people have become fans of CM Punk over the summer and maybe that momentum will keep up for a while but you never know in the wrestling business. I also think that many people wanted to see Punk vs. Jericho; therefore I think the WWE did the right thing. A lot of people are actually enjoying this feud. That's just my opinion though because I don't really feel that star power and ratings mean everything in the world of wrestling.
Yeah Overlord, couldn't remember the name off the top of my head. Don't get ne wrong, I liked it, but I got it at the same time I got Shadow Broker, so I always looked at it as the lesser of the two. Really hate the vehicle stuff though. But the David character is fantastic and the last two stations are fun as hell. Prometheus Station and Atlas Station are worth the purchase alone. But I can't emphasize enough how much I love that David character and I hope he doesn't just become a 1-time deal. Definitely a character worth following up on. Shadow Broker was just drop dead amazing though, probably the best DLC ever created for any game. Arrival too, brilliant story telling. I totally did not see that coming when the bitch turns on you. Caught me completely off guard.
Don't blame you at all for avoiding the previews, I haven't really been following them either. Game Informer seems determined to give as much away as possible. The last issue had some long 5-page spread on ME3, didn't read a word of it. The last article I read was when Game Informer had Shepard on the cover, but that was a while ago. The only other small thing I heard was the Batarians are pretty fucking mad about you blowing up that relay in Arrival, but that should be obvious. I'm playing the Atlas Station/Rogue VI DLC now. I wasn't crazy about this DLC the first time I played it, but it's grown on me. Hopefully we'll find out something about David in ME3 and what eventually happened with him and if he's still obsessed with computing square roots...
One thing I don't get though is that if the Illusive Man is working with the Reapers and so were the Collectors, why would he even give a shit if you destroyed the Collector base? Especially after you destroyed the human reaper. You would think the human reaper would be the only thing he would have been interested in keeping.
