  • I agree, the ending of GOW was bad, "falling apart at the end" is very accurate, but the game was still fun to play. I really hated the escort mission with Pandora, I absolutely HATE escort missions, but that was really my only knock on it. Don't get me wrong, I love the GOW series, but I definitely think you're a bigger fan. It was my favorite series besides GTA before Mass Effect came out. And when ME2 came out, well... that cliffhanger had me hooked harder than anything else and I forgot about GOW. Then GOW came out I think only 3 or 4 months later, and I was just like, "Oh... that's finally here. Ok, what the hell..."

I just entered that sweepstakes for the fucking computer, man... WOW. I'll answer some ME trivia for that :p
I can see what you're saying about Tali and the Quarians, I just don't think it's necessary she unmasks first. Unless they establish another Quarian character first, I'm not sure how well it would work with someone else, or a bunch of Quarians all at once. I just think showing the face or faces of other Quarians first would add to the suspense of what she looks like. Very curious about what they look like, if they're humanoid or if they look like the fucking Predator which would be pretty weird. But if they were all "one ugly motherfuckers" I would imagine it wouldn't do Tali's suspense any favors to say the least.
Ah it doesn't matter, I put in my two weeks notice at the end of the day anyways, because I'm leaving for Montreal soon lol. Thankfully I didn't have to give them an excuse, just said I was running "a little" late. :p It's all good.

I try to use every option they give you. I try not to rely on squad mates too much, but I'll tell you this... hitting Harbinger with warp over and over again will take that motherfucker down faster than you would believe. And I figure, I have the squad mates... might as well use them, but it's generally a mistake relying on them. If I'm fighting a rather large enemy and one of my squad mates goes down, I sometimes panic and burn an omni gel just to keep their special abilities. Miranda's also good because she has warp and overload, which are essential abilities for me on certain levels.

Oh and Mass Effect 3 Trivia Sweepstakes Week 1 - GeForce. Get in, buddy. :D
I could definitely see them revealing the Quarians' faces in a prequel. Who says it even has to be Tali to unmask first? If they did a prequel that took place before the Quarians left their homeworld, like the Rachni Wars or something, we would at least get to see what a Quarian looks like. Then they could hold off on unmasking Tali even longer. So many possibilities. That's why I would be a little disappointed if they just unmasked her in ME3 for the hell of it.

As for Kratos, that was a story I felt was getting a little stale before the third one was released. Love all of them, but they waited too damn long to release 3. By the time it came out, I was pretty indifferent about the series. I got it because I felt like I needed to, and 2 ended on such a cliffhanger, but I got my hopes up REALLY high, and although it was a great game... Mass Effect 2 came out first that year. So... yeah.
Well I played the ME3 demo last night. And then I was an hour late to work this morning because of it :p Wow... just wow. The graphics are unbelievable. Especially for Wrex. He looks REAL. Couldn't get over how sick the game looks.

I'm pretty much the exact opposite, lol. I usually take characters who are most-effective with my character class and the level's conditions, which is adept 90% of the time. I found Miranda and Thane are a great tandem for me on ME2, because all 3 of us have warp. I ran through the Collector base like a bat out of hell with that team. I'm getting where I reeeeally don't like pulling up that wheel and try to stay in real time as much as possible.
Tyrion and Arya are my favorite. I like to hate Jaime. As for Viserys, I can't stand him. He got on my nerves in the book and I find him just as annoying on the show.
Okay, let's choose to agree to disagree. I think it's a splendid idea and that CM Punk will not be de-pushed but you have a differing opinion so we'll leave it at that. We'll see what happens!

Yes! I have heard it's the best book so far. Who are your favorite characters so far?
My 360 died a couple years ago, so I just moved over to PS3 completely. I have both games on PC also, sill trying to get the hang of the control system. It is nice having more buttons to map your biotic powers to so you don't necessarily HAVE to pull up that wheel for certain abilities.

As for being the last game, I was just under the impression it was the last game in the "trilogy". Still not impossible for them to do prequels or even another trilogy. Even Kratos isn't done yet. Bioware would be stupid to just flat out discontinue this franchise considering how many hardcore fans it has. At least, I sure as hell hope.
I've never done a playthrough with Wrex dying. I don't even want to know what it's like. Kind of like betraying Tali on her loyalty mission, I just have no idea why anyone would want to make a stupid decision like that. I did a play through on ME2 before I downloaded the interactive comic, so I saw Reave. Yeah... not impressed. Terrible character, especially compared to Wrex. Didn't have a problem with Grunt though. It was a little bit of a bummer not having Wrex on my squad in ME2, but it was easy to get over when I discovered what a fucking HOSS Grunt is. Max his shields out, give him that krogan shotgun, and upgrade the squad shotgun damage all the way... WOW. I'm constantly surprised with what that guy can take. If you're playing as an infiltrator, it's a flat out MISTAKE not to take him with you. You can hang back and take shots from a distance and direct Grunt get up close to the action and straight wreck shit.
Yes but the fans want to see Jericho vs Punk; hence why it's happening. It's going to be the best match on the pay per view. Anyway, I understand your opinion and you understand mine so let's just leave it at that.

I don't yet but when I do, I will definitely spam your profile. I am assuming that Storm of Swords is your favorite book so far then. :D
Fucking piss. Just found out the demo is "delayed" on PS3 and I have to wait till some unspecified time later tonight to download it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
I imagine that humans are still on Earth because they haven't been in space travel status long yet, only about 100 years, maybe a little more. Most of their settlements outside our solar system are relatively small. It's neat humanity is still seen as the greatest threat and they come for us first, that's the thing that baffles me. You would thing the Asari or the Salarians would be the greater threat considering they are a little wiser and technologically advanced.

Tali unmasking is definitely needed at some point. I'm going to assume it doesn't happen in ME3 though. Seems like a cliffhanger they could keep going for a while. Probably hold it off until it's absolutely necessary to see them, like when they play a more prominent role in the main story's focus.

Thanks a bunch for the links too. I'm definitely going to look at that stuff this weekend. Gee's also insisting I start watching it. When I move there next month, I really won't have a choice, heh.
I don't think it's a de-push. The fans have wanted to see this match for a while. Before Jericho returned, it was anticipated that CM Punk would face him at Wrestlemania. Jericho has put on excellent matches at Wrestlemania; therefore I don't think there is anything to worry about. A lot of people are enjoying this feud. It is the most interesting feud in the WWE right now. CM Punk has nothing to worry about. Even if he wrestled Triple H as the champion, he would have just retained at Wrestlemania and I think Jericho/Punk is a much better match than Punk/Triple H anyway.
Yeah I gave in to temptation to based on the principle that I didn't want other people to know more about it than me, so that's how I convinced myself it was okay. Only one problem... I CAN'T FIND IT IN THE PSN STORE. WTF do I need plus???

And yeah, I love the Krogan too. Not sure where they will go with that, bc they aren't really at war with anyone but themselves. I bet the decision you make concerning the cure Maelon was working on is going to impact their story BIG time.

As for Cerberus... definitely curious about it, but I assume is they are pretty much the Illusive Man's personal army of mercs and engineers (probably all indoctrinated to a certain degree), and I want to think he is really in charge of it all. I don't suspect he's as indoctrinated as Saren, but who knows. But I get the distinct impression he has other reasons for wanting to stand up to the Reapers than the rest of the galaxy does.
