They had a two year feud that ended EIGHT YEARS AGO with one guy as the clear winner of the feud. If they book this, they've just stopped trying.

Yes, but WWE can't seem to book Taker into a fued with Shawn or HHH without involving the other in some capacity, almost involuntarily. There's plenty to work with for a storyline between those two and its clear that its what WWE would rather do (Taker gets priority pretty much out of obligation).

The fact that it was done before eight years ago probably doesn't hold much weight. For Taker/HHH they've totally ignored their WM match from 2001, I don't see why they couldn't brush over HBK/HHH from 2002 as well. WWE have been appealing to the newer generation of fans with these fueds, so this Shawn/HHH idea isn't that crazy.

I wouldn't mind if HBK came back and wrestled, he'd have a reason for it.

Could say he can prove HHH that he still has it and that he's boiled his blood and such... besides HBK is an Icon. Yes he retired but I'd still love to see him do one more match.

There is no way that HBK will come back. He is retired and he has continually said that he is happy to be retired. He isn't like other wrestlers who say "never say never" or that if they right guy comes along they will wrestle again, he has simply said that he won't wrestle again and good on him for knowing when to bow out of the ring.

Several Names Stirring Up A WM29 Match
Earlier today, CM Punk, Steve Austin and Paul Heyman all sent out tweets trying to stir up a possible WrestleMania 29 match-up between CM Punk and Steve Austin. CM Punk has publicly shown that he wants the match for quite some time and said it again today publicly on twitter with some assistance of Paul Heyman. Steve Austin has also said in the past he has one good match left in him and wants to face CM Punk but the timing and other things have to be right, he replied to CM Punk' tweets today.

I did that little paragraph before the tweets so sorry if it sounds shitty, but there's the tweets. I hope this happens but I want it more at 30 cos that's when I'm probably going. Oh well. Steve looks very open to do it.

Here's the link Paul Heyman put in his tweet: THQ Presents WWE All Stars "2 Generations, 1 Ring" Fantasy Matchup: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs CM Punk! - Heyman Hustle

Steve seems more eager about the possible match than I've ever seen him. The more the idea gets kicked around, the less surprised I think I would be if Stone Cold officially stepped up.

"I always have a big can of Whoop Ass ready to take NYC."

Seems like he wants to do it, let's just see how it pans out and if WWE wants to. Austin would prob be a bigger ratings boost than Rocky if he was to return to the ring and especially against someone like Punk. The promos would be AMAZING.

News Regarding Brock Lesnar/WrestleMania 29 in 2013

Source: F4WOnline.com
It's being said that former WWE Superstar and UFC cagefighter Brock Lesnar is at least somewhat intrigued by the possibility of facing either The Undertaker or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. As you may remember, Lesnar was originally penciled in to be Undertaker's WrestleMania 27 opponent last year, but was unable to participate due to contractual obligations to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Believe what you want with this story but I hope it's against Taker, Lesnar will be a for sure ratings boost.

I'd prefer him to crush Austin instead as payback for him bailing on WWE and bitching about losing a fucking wrestling match.

Chris Jericho noticed the CM Punk and Steve Austin tweets and decided to post his thoughts quoting CM Punk.

I would love for it to be Taker. It would make sense since Taker called him out last year. Austin Punk can't be touched, that match needs to happen.

Punk vs Austin > everything. Jericho Austin segment in the future would be great though. Those two were hilarious back in the day when Austin was GM.

CM Punk would be the ideal opponent for Brock Lesnar in every aspect.
