Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

I'm gonna give Cena credit. His debut match against Kurt Angle was one hell of a good fight, and his rap gimmick he had long before his American Superman/Marine days was pretty enjoyable.

Ah John's debut. He slapped the taste out of Kurt Angle's mouth and never looked back

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

- John Cena reportedly won his 100th match of the year with his defeat of Big Show at the Supershow on Saturday. Including that win, he is now 100-4-4 for the year in win-loss-draws/NC.

The most WWE matches for the year goes to Daniel Bryan with 113. He is 35-74-4.

Other big winners are Brodus Clay at 78-1-0 and Ryback at 52-1-0.

PWInsider

To put this into context, there's been 196 days so far this year. So Daniel Bryan & John Cena have been wrestling at least one match every other day on average.

The main eventers are being ridiculously overworked.

 John Cena has lost 4 matches this year and won 100. He's invincible.

I've got Cena's defeats as being against The Rock, Johnny Ace, Tensai & possibly Kane?

Is Tensai still around? If so he has lasted a lot longer than I thought he would have, At least he shaved his damn back this time around though.

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

Chris Jericho is finishing up with WWE for the time being. Here's a list of the rest of his advertised appearances from Pwtorch.com.

- Aug. 3-5: Raw house show tour
- Aug. 6: Raw TV taping in San Antonio
- Aug. 13: Raw TV taping in Dallas
- Aug. 19: Summerslam PPV in Los Angeles
- Aug. 20: Not advertised for Raw post-SS
- Aug. 27: Raw TV taping in Milwaukee
- No further dates advertised

I'm disappointed because Jericho has been gold since he came back but he clearly doesn't need to wrestle anymore so whatever is best for him.

Jericho's return has been such a bummer. It's just never got going like it has before.

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

His program with Punk was great

Yes and Jericho lost all of their matches. He had no upper hand whatsoever on Punk in that feud. Yeah, he may have poured beer all over him a couple of times but in the end, Punk always came out on top. So, Jericho's return really has been pretty lackluster. Which sucks but WWE is obviously not his main focus anymore.
