Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

Yes and Jericho lost all of their matches. He had no upper hand whatsoever on Punk in that feud. Yeah, he may have poured beer all over him a couple of times but in the end, Punk always came out on top. So, Jericho's return really has been pretty lackluster. Which sucks but WWE is obviously not his main focus anymore.

Here we go again. You don't have to win the matches. Just because Jericho lost doesn't make the return lackluster. He returned to put over younger stars and did that with flying colors

Yep, here we go again. :inferno:

Sure, putting over a few people is cool and all, but it was hurting him a bit, IMO. To come back in such great fashion, say that it's "the end of the world as we know it", then go on and lose every single PPV match you've participated in? I think that hurt his return a bit. If there's anything that he did "with flying colors", it's that he hurt himself by losing all the time. I don't know if it was him refusing to go over the guys (which is fine), but still. I don't see what's so fabulous about this return.

But he doesn't need to win anymore. He's already had a legendary career. Just because he loses to young guns doesn't mean his return hasn't been good. He's been fantastic in playing his role. The matches aren't the only thing that matters

This is all opinions, obviously but I do feel that his return has been lackluster. Of course, the matches aren't the only thing matters, but they do matter. What has he done that was anything of note since he's come back? For me, nothing, other than "swerve" us back in January.

He's helped young talent get over. Once again he's already had a great career. Putting himself over Punk isn't gonna make or break his career

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

I have enjoyed Jericho since his return even he's lost most of the big matches he's been in. His feud with Punk was great, and the one he's doing with Ziggler now has been fun so far and he's a face now too which is cool.

It's a bummer he'll be leaving again soon, but hopefully he'll back again soon, and continue as a face when and if he returns.

I've been loving face Jericho, hopefully he goes out by making Ziggler look strong then returns in a bit to continue the feud.

Face Jericho has been pretty nice I'll admit. But it's pretty disappointing how quickly he became "just another guy".

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

Grantland.com has published a lengthy article on the life and controversial wrestling career of Kevin Nash, who has begun to gain traction in Hollywood. A notable point in the article has the six-time world champion reiterating his stance on “Vanilla Midgets,” a dismissive term he used as booker in the late ’90s in World Championship Wrestling to describe small-statured, gifted technical wrestlers who didn’t project larger than life personalities but were beloved by fans, such as Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko. “Big Sexy” feels the professional wrestling industry died in 2004 at WrestleMania XX when WWE’s “Super Bowl” concluded with the image of the under six-foot-tall grapplers reigning supreme as champions and emotionally celebrating. Even though the two wrestlers are now deceased, he still believes they never belonged in the main event scene due to their small stature.
“When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business,” Nash says. “Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two fucking guys that were great workers that were the same height as the fucking referees, and I’m sorry, man. Are you going to watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick? Even if you’re not gay, you will not watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick. That’s not the standard in porno films. So you put a 5-foot-7 guy as your world champion.”
Nash has the same problem with today’s “Internet heroes,” CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
“They are not bigger than life,” he says. “I bet they could both walk through airports and not be noticed unless they have a gimmick shirt on and the belt.”

God what an insensitive prick.

Nash was right though... No one wants to watch a porn with a dude with a three inch dick!

I like how that's the only thing you got from the whole paragraph.

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

Kevin Nash is a crybaby bitch. And what dude talks about a 3 inch dick in porno anyway? Just accept it, your old and wasn't in the know how. I don't care, NOT every big guy deserves to be a World Champion. IMO and if Nash were able to see this, I'd tell him, you need to shutup, and they loved the business, unlike you did. You hurt the business as the booker for WCW. Oh, nWo was an amazing angle, but toward the end, being greedy bitches they overdone the stable and it lost it's effectiveness. Benoit and Eddie were good Champions. So why didn't he have a problem with The Miz, or Rey Mysterio being World Champion? Sounds like you just didn't like the fact that TWO guys you would purposely hold back in WCW finally did something that drove him mad. LOL.
