WINNER CHALLENGES FOR THE WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AT WRESTLEMANIA

Friday Night Smackdown superstar Bayley eliminated Monday Night RAW superstar Liv Morgan to win the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. In doing so she earned herself a shot at either the Women’s World or WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XL.

Before she could even begin to make the decision the choice was seemingly taken away from her. As her now former Damage CTRL stablemates attacked and expelled her from the group. Seeing as she then chose to face Iyo Sky at the show of shows, RAW GM Adam Pearce announced a Elimination Chamber match for the event.

The winner of the match would challenge for the Women’s World Championship. Becky Lynch beat Candice LeRae, Liv Morgan beat Chelsea Green and Ivy Nile beat Katana Chance. The three remaining spots were filled by Shayna Baszler, Tegan Nox and Zoey Stark, who beat Kayden Carter, Nia Jax and Nikki Cross respectively. ​

WWE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
DAMAGE CTRL(C) VS DAWN OF FYRE
The final match added to the card was a women’s division tag team match, for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Between the reigning and defending current champions and Damage CTRL members Asuka and Kairi Sane. Their challenger’s the duo of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn aka Dawn of Fyre.

WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER: PERTH
The WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth premium live event kicked off with a women’s division tag team match, for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Which saw the reigning and defending champions aka Damage CTRL represented by Asuka and Kairi Sane(c) defending against Dawn of Fyre (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn). The winner of the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match and former DC member aka Bayley made an appearance which distracted Asuka enough for Fyre to get the pin.

Next it was time for the women’s Elimination Chamber match to crown a challenger for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania XL. Becky Lynch, Ivy Nile, Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler, Tegan Nox and Zoey Stark waged war amongst themeselves. Soon six became two as the duo of Lynch and Morgan were the last two women standing. They went back and forth but in the end the match ended with a double pin, meaning that both women were crowned the winner.

In the third match of the night the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship was up for grabs. As the reigning and defending champions the Judgment Day, represented by Damian Priest and Finn Balor(c). Were challenged by the team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa aka DIY. Given the talents of the four superstars involved it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the match was awesome. It concluded with Damian Priest isolating Tommaso Ciampa and putting him down for the count with the South of Heaven for the win.

After that the second of two Elimination Chamber matches scheduled for the event took place. As Andrade, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston and Sami Zayn. Squared off to crown a challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL. Reed got a huge response from the crowd seeing as he is Australian born, it took three men to get him down and out. In the end came down to Kingston and McIntyre with the former getting the better of the latter.

Finally the show closed out with the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley(c) aka the current champion and Indi Hartwell aka the challenger. Despite a high energy and heartfelt performance from Hartwell she would be unsuccessful in this attempt to win the title. As Ripley got the better of her opponent by hitting back to back Riptides for the win.​

LOSER LEAVES NXT + WINNER IS N1C - STREET FIGHT
CARMELO HAYES VS TRICK WILLIAMS
The duo of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were as good as brothers to each other. That all changed when the latter aka Williams won the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at the 2023 NXT Deadline event.

In doing so he earned himself a future shot at the NXT Championship. Going into 2024, Williams found himself the victim of back to back attacks from an unknown person. This all came to ahead at NXT Vengeance Day, where Williams teamed with Hayes in an unsuccessful attempt to win the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Later on the same night Williams competed in his second match of the event for the NXT Championship. He would fail in his attempt to become the new champion and after the match Hayes revealed himself as the attacker and beat Williams down.

NXT GM Ava announced that the two men would compete in a street fight at NXT Stand & Deliver. Not only that but the winner would earn a shot at the NXT Championship while the loser would leave NXT.​

ILJA DRAGUNOV(C) VS JOE GACY
At NXT Vengeance Day the “Mad Dragon” and current reigning and defending NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov(c) retained the title against Trick Williams. Going into the lead up of the NXT Stand and Deliver event, Dragunov would find his path forward as champion blocked by the utterly bizarre Joe Gacy.

The self proclaimed “Unwanted One” aka Gacy made it abundantly clear that he wanted a shot at the title. Dragunov wasted little time in going to NXT GM Ava and asked for the match to be made official, which she did.​

The third match announced for the NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event was a one on one women’s division match. For the brand’s women’s championship aka the NXT Women’s Championship.

Between the current champion, Lyra Valkyria(c) and the challenger, Cora Jade. The match was made official by NXT GM Ava, after Jade beat Valkyria in a non-title Championship Eliminator match.​

At the 2024 edition of the NXT Vengeance Day PLE, Oba Femi successfully retained the NXT North American Championship. In a one on one match against the man he defeated to capture the gold in the first place aka Dragon Lee. At the same event a man who knows what it’s like to hold the title, Wes Lee who defeated five other men to earn a shot at the title.

WOLF DOGS(C) VS GOOD BROTHERS VS SUPERSONIC DUO VS THE FAMILY
First the duo of Baron Corbin and Bron Breaker collectively known as the Wolf Dogs defeated Trick Melo Gang to win the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Second they would go on to defeat the then NXT Tag Team Champions the Family(c) to capture the gold.

NXT GM Ava announced a fatal four way tag team elimination match for the gold at NXT Stand & Deliver. The line up of the match featured the defending champions, the former champions, the Good Brothers and the Supersonic Duo.​
