NXT CHAMPIONSHIP
ILJA DRAGUNOV(C) VS TRICK WILLIAMS
At the NXT Deadline 2023 premium live event, Trick Williams was able to win the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. In doing this he aka Williams earned himself a shot at the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil.

However the current and reigning NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov(c) wasn’t medically cleared and the match was postponed as a result. NXT GM Ava revealed that the match would take place at Vengeance Day instead.

Which meant Williams would be pulling double duty at the event as he teamed with Carmelo Hayes. To take on the duo of Baron Corbin and Bron Breaker in the final of the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic​

NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
OBA FEMI(C) VS DRAGON LEE
On the 9th of January 2024 episode of NXT the then NXT North American Champion, Dragon Lee successfully retained the title against the egotistical prick known as Lexus King.

He wouldn’t have much time to celebrate his victory as he was cut off by Oba Femi. Femi who won the 2023 NXT Breakout Tournament and in doing so earned himself a title match of his place and time of choosing.

Femi proceeded to cash in his opportunity and defeated Lee to become the new champion in quick fashion. Lee would confront Femi on the following episode of NXT and said he would be having his rematch at Vengeance Day and Femi agreed. Lee vowed that he would leave NXT if he couldn’t win the title back.​

NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
LYRA VALKYRIA(C) VS ROXANNE PEREZ
The 9th of January 2024 edition of NXT saw the brand’s General Manager Ava take to the ring. She proceeded to announce a twenty woman over the top rope battle royal for the following week’s episode of the show.

The last four women would then compete in a fatal four way match. With the winner of the four way becoming the number one contender to the NXT Women’s Championship.

The four women left standing in the match were the quartet of Roxanne Perez, Kiana James, Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan. The fatal four way saw Perez get the better of James and put her down with Pop Rocks for the win.​

NXT GM Ava announced that at NXT Vengeance Day a six man match would take place. She revealed that the participants of the match would clash with the winner earning a future shot at the NXT North American Championship.

The lineup was announced as Charlie Dempsey versus Dijak versus Joe Gacy versus Keanu Carver versus Lexus King and Wes Lee .​

WOLF DOGS VS TRICK MELO GANG
The final match announced for the 2024 edition of NXT Vengeance Day premium live event was the final of the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
. The duo of Baron Corbin and Bron Breaker collectively known as the Wolf Dogs, defeated Gallus then the Supersonic Duo to land a place in the final.

Their opponents? The team of Carmelo Hayes and Trick WIlliams aka Trick & Melo Gang. Who defeated Edris Enofe & Malik Blade and the LWO to earn their spot in the final​

The first match announced for the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event was a one on one women’s division match. For Monday Night RAW’s Women’s World Championship. The match would also feature two Australian born superstars. As both the reigning and defending current champion “Mami” Rhea Ripley(c) and the challenger, Indi Hartwell.​

WINNER CHALLENGERS FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT WRESTLEMANIA
ANDRADE VS BRONSON REED VS DREW MCINTYRE VS JEY USO VS KOFI KINGSTON VS SAMI ZAYN
At the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes did the unthinkable by winning his second Royal Rumble in as many years. As a result of this he decided that he would challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL.

RAW GM Adam Pearce announced a Elimination Chamber match where the winner would challenge for the WHC at the Showcase of the Immortals. Andrade beat Braun Strowman, Bronson Reed beat Chad Gable, Drew McIntyre beat CM Punk. Jey Uso beat Ricochet, Kofi Kingston beat Dominik Mysterio and Sami Zayn beat Shinsuke Nakamura to qualify for the match.​

THE JUDGMENT DAY(C) VS DIY
RAW GM Adam Pearce and his SD counterpart Nick Aldis announced a number one contender tournament with four teams from both brands taking part. The winners would go onto the Elimination Chamber: Perth premium live event to challenge the Judgment Day(c) for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship.

The four teams from Monday Night RAW were revealed to be, the Creed Brothers, DIY, Modern Day Vikings and the Awesome Truth. Meanwhile the Smackdown teams consisted of the Street Profits, New Catch Republic, Legado Del Fantasma and the LWO. When it was all said and done the duo of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa aka DIY were the last team standing.​
