WWE 2019: No Wildcards

I was almost expecting Ziggler to finally snap and attack Mustafa Ali...but he didn't. However, one of these days he will I mean it is inevitable.

Ricochet definitely will not join The Hurt Business but look at all the people MVP has tried to recruit and they reject him at every turn. However, Bobby Lashley when he returns, I definitely see Bobby not only joining but becoming the leader of The Hurt Business.

Xavier Woods I really hope becomes WWE Intercontinental Champion because if he does win his 1st singles title, he will be on even par with Big E and Kofi...but Big E is on his way to being a future WWE or WWE Universal Champion while Kofi is a former WWE Champion but Woods I see him as a future World Champion but it will probably be eventually...some time in the future

But I love that Big E and Kofi both are here for him tonight

British Strong Style could not only win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship but they could win the RAW Tag Team Championship too...this group makes an impact every where they go so it is bound to translate over on to the main roster

The opening video for Armageddon comes to an end as we pan around the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri before we cut to the commentary team at ringside who welcome us to the show.

Michael Cole: It’s Sunday night and you know what that means. Welcome to Armageddon!

Elias: And we have a packed card tonight! In our main event, the WWE title is on the line as Drew McIntyre defends against his close friend Sheamus!

Michael Cole: We will also see Charlotte Flair taking on Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar fighting Andrade Cien Almas to decide the number one contender for the WWE title at Summerslam.

Elias: But right now we are starting the show with action as we find out the next number-one contender for the Cruiserweight title in a ladder match!

*COMBATIVE*​

The first man to make his way out for the match is ONEY LORCAN who scowls at the crowd as he walks to the ring sticking one finger in the air (no not that one). He gets a few boos from the crowd as he looks at the ladders around ringside before heading into the ring.

Michael Cole: Oney Lorcan is a hard-hitter but is not known for being a high-flier.

Elias: But in this kind of match maybe that will work to his advantage. He will be happy to let everyone else leap off from a great height whilst he has his eyes on the price!

*FEARLESS WARRIOR*​

KALISTO makes his way out next getting a decent reaction from the fans. A few of the kids in the first few rows have luchador masks prompting Kalisto to touch masks with a few of the kids. Oney in the ring scowls at him clearly not impressed with this.

Michael Cole: Kalisto is a former champion but it has been a few years since he has held gold. A win tonight puts him closer to correcting that.

Elias: When you’ve tasted that gold, being without it must hurt even more.

*I CAME TO COLLECT*​

LIO RUSH makes his way out next getting boos from the live crowd as he sticks his arms out hyping himself up. ISIAH “SWERVE” SCOTT and MVP join him at the top of the entrance ramp giving him some advice before he runs down the entrance ramp and leaps into the ring ready for action.

Michael Cole: Lio Rush has been riding high since the turn of the year and has come close to winning the Cruiserweight title before. Can he get another shot tonight?

Elias: Lio may have a big mouth but is very talented. MVP signed a true diamond to the Hurt Business!

*ONE AND ONLY*​

RICOCHET makes his way out to the ring next getting loud cheers from the crowd. He stands at the top of the entrance ramp and points to the ceiling, making it clear he intends to fly tonight. He sprints down the entrance ramp and stops at ringside looking at a few of the ladders before climbing into the ring.

Michael Cole: Ricochet is a new addition to the Cruiserweight division and has impressed so far winning against Noam Dar and Dolph Ziggler.

Elias: He impressed on Smackdown competing with opponents twice his size and beating them. But can he adjust to the new style?

*GO HARD*​

MUSTAFA ALI makes his way out getting the loudest pop of anyone who has come out to the ring so far but there is a lot less of a smile on his face than normal. He walks down the entrance ramp and waits in the ring but he ignores the other men in the ring focusing on the entrance stage.

Michael Cole: Mustafa Ali held the Cruiserweight title for just over 7 months and will be desperate to get his title back.

Elias: I think he may be splitting his focus because he seems to be preoccupied with his recent rival Dolph Ziggler.

*HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD*​

And we see the final man DOLPH ZIGGLER make his way out! He walks out onto the ramp and turns around doing his signature butt shake not noticing Mustafa Ali has already left the ring and headed straight up the entrance ramp towards him!

Michael Cole: Ziggler and Ali’s issues have exploded on Raw to the point they were banned from contact in the lead-up to tonight.

Elias: Well Ali ain’t waiting a moment longer!

Ziggler turns around and gets attacked by Mustafa Ali as they brawl which each other at the top of the entrance ramp! The other four men in the ring shrug and charge at each other as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Number contender’s ladder match for the Cruiserweight title:
Mustafa Ali vs Dolph Ziggler vs Ricochet vs Oney Lorcan vs Kalisto vs Lio Rush​

At the top of the entrance ramp, Ali and Ziggler go after each other hammer and tongs as they try to batter each other, taking out what is now months of hatred! Back in the ring Kalisto and Ricochet remove Oney and Lio Rush from the ring respectively with a pair of hurricanranas! Both men then land on their feet and turn to each other in the middle of the ring getting a pop from the live crowd as they nod before running the ropes as RICOCHET LEAPFROGS OVER KALISTO AND LOOKS TO REBOUND OFF THE ROPES BUT KALISTO CATCHES HIM WITH A DROPKICK!

Kalisto follows up as he springboards off the ropes and looks to hit Ricochet with a MOONSAULT BUT RICOCHET GETS HIS KNEES UP! Kalisto stumbles back and Ricochet looks to leap off the ropes… BUT ONEY CATCHES HIM IN THE RIBS WITH A LADDER SHOT! Ricochet falls back onto the mat as Kalisto gets up and Oney slams him in the midsection with the ladder through the ropes! Oney smiles but turns around as LIO RUSH RUNS OFF THE RING APRON AND CANNONBALL SENTONS INTO THE LADDER AND ONEY!

Both men lie on the ring floor as back at the top of the entrance ramp Ali grabs Ziggler by his head and SLAMS HIS SKULL INTO THE LED BOARDS AT THE TOP OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP! Ali looks to SUPLEX ZIGGLER ON THE STAGE… BUT ZIGGLER ELBOWS HIS WAY OUT! Ziggler then catches Mustafa Ali with a SUPERKICK DROPPING HIM TO THE FLOOR! Ziggler stands there before looking towards the production area nearby having ideas! Whilst Ziggler does that, we cut back to the ring as Lio Rush is back on his feet and winces due to his back.

He grabs the ladder from Oney Lorcan down on the floor and slides it back into the ring. Lio gets into the ring but Kalisto is back on his feet and looks to go after him but Lio is ready catching him with a BICYCLE KICK SENDING KALISTO CRASHING BACK ONTO THE LADDER! Kalisto is in a ton of pain and winces before rolling out of the ring. Lio looks to grab the ladder and set it up in the middle of the ring. He looks to end it early but RICOCHET STOPS HIM! Ricochet and Rush come face to face as they start to battle in the ring but back at the top of the entrance ramp we can see Ziggler set up a TABLE ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP!

He grabs Ali by the hair and lays in a few punches getting boos from the crowd but Ali COUNTERS WITH A FLATLINER INTO THE LED BOARD! Ziggler falls to the floor and Ali isn’t done grabbing hold of him as he hits him with a SPANISH FLY ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Ali then looks at the table and looks to the stage having a crazy idea! He puts the prone Ziggler on the table before looking around the production area and grabbing a ladder! Ali sets it up and starts to climb as we once again cut back to the ring as Ricochet who has been battling with Lio Rush uses the ladder to SPRINGBOARD OFF IT AND HITS A TORNADO DDT!

Lio’s head gets spiked into the mat but Ricochet gets to his feet as he sees Kalisto and Oney Lorcan coming to blows on the outside so he walks along the ropes before HITTING THEM BOTH WITH A MOONSAULT PLANCHA TO THE OUTSIDE! Loud cheers from the crowd before we cut back to the entrance ramp as Ali is at the top of the ladder… BUT HE LOOKS TO THE STAGE NEXT TO HIM AND CLIMBS ONTO THE TOP OF IT! The crowd goes wild as Ali lines up Ziggler… BEFORE HITTING A 054 OFF THE STAGE THROUGH THE TABLE ONTO ZIGGLER!

A holy shit chant starts from the live crowd as Ali rolls out of the wreckage and Ziggler is out for the count! The commentary team wonders if this will put them out of the rest of the match and if their rivalry had gone too far. As the medics check on Ziggler and Ali we cut back to the ringside area as Ricochet has slid into the ring and looks to make the climb… BUT ONEY LORCAN STOPS HIM! Oney lays into him with a series of strikes to the back before HITTING HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX OFF THE LADDER ONTO THE RING MAT!

Ricochet winces in pain on the mat as Oney follows up with a series of chops to his chest on the mat before kicking him in the head! Ricochet rolls out of the ring leaving him alone in the ring but he doesn’t get much time to do anything as KALISTO LEAPS OFF A LADDER OUTSIDE THE RING AND HITS A HURRIACNARANA SENDING ONEY INTO THE CORNER! Oney collides with the corner as Kalisto lands back on his feet and looks for a delayed dropkick…ONEY MOVES JUST IN THE TIME!

Kalisto kicks the bottom turnbuckle and rolls back wincing as Oney goes right back on the attack! He slams down Kalisto with a few snap suplexes before looking at the ladder and having an idea! He drags Kalisto to the upright ladder before hooking his leg through it and locking in a MODIFIED KNEEBAR! Kalisto shouts in pain as Oney looks to take away the speed and legs of the luchador. However as he is wrenching back on the hold… LIO RUSH SNEAKS INTO THE RING AND CLIMBS THE LADDER!

Lio is not worrying about taking his time as Oney notices him climbing and joins him on the ladder! Lio reaches for the title but Oney meets him at the top clocking him with a STIFF FOREARM TO THE JAW! Rush is staggered atop the ladder before firing back with a few hands of his own as Kalisto rolls out of the ring to recover for the time being. As they are battling atop the ladder Lio Rush takes control of the battle between the two of them hitting a JUMPING NECKBREAKER OFF THE LADDER TO THE MAT!

Lio goes high-risk as he slams Oney Lorcan down to the mat with a proper thud as both men lay down and out for the moment! As they are selling on the mat we can see Ricochet reappear in the ring and he starts to climb the ladder but Lio grabs his leg stopping him! Ricochet kicks him away and looks to resume climbing the ladder. Lio doesn’t stop there and once again grabs the ladder forcing Ricochet to jump off and lays into LIO RUSH WITH A SERIES OF KICKS!

Ricochet is laying into him with a series of kicks but Lio grabs the leg of Ricochet and connects with a dragon screw leg whip SENDING HIM INTO THE LADDER KNOCKING IT OVER! Ricochet rolls on the mat in pain as Lio grabs the ladder from the mat before KNOCKING ONEY LORCAN AND KALISTO TO THE RING FLOOR FROM THE APRON AS THEY TRY TO COME BACK INTO THE RING! Lio then turns around to swing at Ricochet… BUT HE LEAPFROGS OVER LIO ONTO THE ROPES BEFORE CATCHING HIM AS HE TURNS AROUND WITH A MOONSAULT ONTO THE LADDER AND LIO!

Ricochet once again stole the show in this match! He gets back to his feet wincing in pain a bit before resetting the ladder as Ricochet rolls away for the time being. Ricochet starts to climb the ladder and gets halfway up it when KALISTO USING A LADDER FROM THE OUTSIDE LEAPS AHEAD OF HIM ONTO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LADDER! Insane skills are being shown by the two men in this match! Kalisto and Ricochet are battling on top of the ladder but Kalisto wins the battle between them and grabs Ricochet before HITTING A SALIDA DEL SOL OFF THE LADDER TO THE RING FLOOR!

The crowd goes wild as both men land on the mat with a hard thud as they are putting it all on the line to win this match! Ricochet rolls out of the ring and Kalisto has to take a few moments to recover from the damage done but he soon starts to slowly climb up the ladder looking to earn that title shot… LORCAN CLOCKS HIM WITH A LADDER IN THE BACK! Kalisto falls to the mat clutching his back and Oney goes right back on the attack as he grabs the right leg of Kalisto and places it between the ladder before SMASHING THE LADDER DOWN ON IT OVER AND OVER!

Oney lays into Kalisto and the commentary team wonders if he is being extra aggressive here due to the mini-rivalry that has started between the One Twos and Lucha House Party on Monday Night Raw. Oney finishes off the flurry of slams with the ladder with one final slam. Kalisto rolls away towards the middle of the ring and Oney is far from done with him as he places the ladder in between the turnbuckles before grabbing the Luchador ready to send him into the ladder… LIO RUSH HITS A DROPKICK KNOCKING OVER ONEY LORCAN!

Kalisto rolls out of the ring and grabs his right leg as Lio Rush lays into Oney on the mat and looks to keep the pressure up on the brawler! He grabs hold of him looking to send him into the table in the corner but Oney lays into him with a bunch of strikes staggering him. Oney rocks Lio with a wicked lariat SENDING LIO RUSH INTO THE ROPES… BUT HE USES THE MIDDLE ONE TO BOUNCE BACK AND HITS A STUNNER! Both men lay down and out on the mat with everyone down… AS ALI SLOWLY REPPEARS FROM THE RAMP AND HEADS TOWARDS THE RING!

He is still in pain and clutching his ribs after his big dive off the stage before he walks to the ring! He slowly walks down the ramp and heads right for the ring as the crowd cheers him on! He gets to the side of the ring by the camera and grabs hold of a ladder before placing it into the ring. Lio Rush is the first man who looks like he is going to get back to his feet but Ali catches him with a SUPERKICK SENDING HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE FLOOR! Oney comes at him next but Ali counters with an STO ONTO THE LADDER HE BROUGHT INTO THE RING!

Ali knocks Oney out with that lethal blow and the brawler rolls out of the ring leaving Ali all alone in the middle of the ring! He grabs the ladder and places it upright in the middle of the ring before looking at the contract with a ticket back to his Cruiserweight title! He gets about halfway up the ladder when RICOCHET LEAPS FROM A LADDER OUTSIDE THE RING ABOVE HIM ON THE SAME LADDER! Ricochet tries to quickly scramble up the ladder to grab the title… BUT ALI GRABS HIS LEG STOPPING HIM! As Ricochet tries to fight him off both men are sent crashing out of the ring as RUSH TIPS THE LADDER TO THE FLOOR!

Boos from the crowd as Rush smirks to himself before pulling the ladder back to the middle of the ring! Rush starts to set up the ladder but gets clocked in the back of the head with a hard lariat by ONEY LORCAN! Boos from the crowd as Oney looks to lift up Lio Rush to do more damage but Rush ends up getting Oney in a head-scissors and it takes both men over the top rope to the ring floor! The two men slowly get to their feet and Oney knocks Rush over with a wicked lariat!

Oney looks frustrated once again to have someone getting in his way and looks to set up a LADDER BRIDGE BETWEEN THE BARRICADE AND THE RING! He sets it up and looks to grab hold of Lio Rush to send him through it but he then sees KALISTO CRAWLING UP THE LADDER! Oney dumps Lio right into the barricade before heading straight for the ring! Kalisto tries to climb up the ladder but is struggling greatly due to the damage done to his leg and it gets even worse as ONEY GRABS THE LEG AND SMASHES IT ON THE LADDER!

Kalisto screams in pain and Oney uses that to POWERBOMB HIM ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE IN THE CORNER OF THE RING BREAKING IT! Kalisto lies down and out in the wreckage as Oney smirks proud of his handiwork before looking to make the climb again but he is stopped by RICOCHET WHO HITS HIM WITH RECOIL! Oney drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring leaving Ricochet alone until he comes face to face with LIO RUSH!

Once again the two men stand in the middle of the ring as the commentary team reminds us of their meeting backstage earlier tonight. Both men go for kicks one after another but they are each too quick and avoid their rival's strikes. As they are battling out ALI COMES BACK INTO THE RING WITH A LADDER LOOKING TO TAKE DOWN BOTH… BUT THEY BOTH AVOID IT BEFORE DROPKICKING THE LADDER INTO ALI STOPPING HIM! Ali rolls out the ring and the two men carry on their battle as they try to one-up each other!

Rush and Ricochet run off the ropes with Ricochet leaping over Lio Rush before bouncing off them… RICOCHET GETS CAUGHT WITH A SUPERKICK AS HE TRIES TO MOONSAULT OFF THE ROPES! A massive pop from the crowd for that insane counter by Lio Rush and he looks to make sure Ricochet stays down! Lio Rush heads to the top rope and steadies himself… ONEY TRIES TO ATTACK HIM BUT RUSH KICKS HIM BACK OFF THE APRON! Rush turns around… RICOCHET LEAPS OFF THE ROPES AND HITS AN AVALANCHE HURRICANRANA ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE OUTSIDE THE RING!

A massive pop from the crowd who start up another “HOLY SHIT” chant as Ricochet uses the steel steps outside the ring struggling as he sees Lio Rush on the floor and the bridge in front of him having an idea! He lifts Lio Rush onto the ladder bridge in front of him and places him laid down on it before looking at the upright ladder next to him. He slowly makes the climb before pointing to the sky and FLIES OFF HITTING A 630 SENTON TO LIO RUSH CRUSHING HIM IN THE LADDER BELOW!

A massive pop from the live crowd as Ricochet once again steals the show to the delight of the live crowd before we cut back to the ring and see ONEY LORCAN and MUSTAFA ALI slide back inside the ring! Both men are beaten up having gone through a war in this match and head to the ladder looking to end this match and earn a Cruiserweight title shot! Both eventually reach the top of the ladder and start exchanging strikes with one another ATOP THE LADDER!

Oney is firing off on Ali and gets off a series of his signature forearm strikes before reaching for the contract and getting his fingertips on it… ALI HEADBUTTS HIM STAGGERING HIM! Desperation from Ali who now tries to reach for the contract and he is fingertips away from pulling it down… BUT ONEY CATCHES HIM WITH A FOREARM! Oney goes for another one but ALI CATCHES IT AND EUROPEAN UPPERCUTS HIM! Oney is knocked loopy but Ali knows he needs to properly put him away so grabs him and HITS A SPAINISH FLY FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER TO THE MAT!

Both men land on the mat with a hard thud and it takes Ali a good few seconds before he can move! However with the crowd willing him on, he slowly crawls up the ladder really feeling the impact of this match! As he gets about halfway up the ladder there are boos from the crowd as DOLPH ZIGGLER HITS HIM WITH A ZIG ZAG FROM HALFWAY UP THE LADDER! We haven’t seen him since he was taken to the back after the 054 at the start of the match! Ziggler smirks to himself and climbs the ladder, taking his time due to the damage to his ribs. He gets to the top step and reaches for the contract… ALI AND KALISTO CRAWL TOWARDS THE LADDER…

BUT THEY ARE TOO LATE!

Winner: Dolph Ziggler (14:21)​

The crowd boos though a few fans are still behind Ziggler even though he did very little to earn this win! Both Ali and Kalisto pound the mat having come so close to stopping Ziggler but the veteran picks up the win and earns a future Cruiserweight title shot! He steps off the ladder and looks at Ali on the mat, mocking his recent rival before heading up the entrance ramp with a big smile on his face!

Michael Cole: Dolph Ziggler escapes from this match with a shot for the Cruiserweight title!

Elias: Ziggler barely did a thing all match after Ali hit the 054 onto him off the stage through a table but he was there when it mattered!

Michael Cole: Veteran instincts perhaps?

Elias: Well we will see if Dolph Ziggler will be fighting Angel Garza or Pete Dunne for the Cruiserweight title later on tonight!

Dolph Ziggler heads to the top of the ramp and he is clearly not 100% but he stands tall as Mustafa Ali kicks the ropes in anger. We then cut elsewhere backstage as…

SHEAMUS is shown walking through the back. He has a big smile on his face and it stays wide as he sees his former tag team partner CESARO! The tension is still there on Cesaro’s part but Sheamus is all smiles.

Sheamus: So did I knock some sense into you fella?

Cesaro looks unimpressed as Sheamus offers him a fist but Cesaro shakes his head.

Cesaro: You beating me proves nothing more than you were the better man on the night.

Sheamus smiles.

Sheamus: So the old Cesaro is still in there?

Cesaro: I’ve never left.

Sheamus: Could have fooled me.

Cesaro at this point grabs Sheamus’s shirt and looks ready to explode.

Cesaro: What do you want Sheamus?

Sheamus gets angry.

Sheamus: I want the real Cesaro, not this pretender!

Both men are forehead to forehead ready to explode but Cesaro removes his hands from Sheamus’s shirt.

Cesaro: I’ve not changed. I am still the man who kick your ass and would do it again. I am the Bar and I’ll show it later tonight.

Cesaro goes to leave but Sheamus stops him.

Sheamus: And when I do something you’ve never done…

Cesaro doesn’t like that.

Sheamus: Again you can see who the true Bar was!

Sheamus walks off but stops and turns around to Cesaro.

Sheamus: Tell your boss if I fight him at Summerslam and he pulls what he did at Backlash, you’ll be picking his teeth out of his arse when you kiss it!

Ouch! Sheamus walks off and Cesaro looks ready to explode, a rare sight for the normally calm Swiss Superman as we cut back to the ring for the second match of the show.

*PLAY MY ASS OFF*​

Cheers from the live crowd as XAVIER WOODS makes his way out for the biggest singles match of his career so far and he is joined by his best friend BIG E! Mr. Money in the Bank holds his briefcase in the air and plays to the fans before hyping up his friend ahead of this match.

Michael Cole: Xavier Woods earned this match by defeating The Miz on Raw to become the number-one contender for the Intercontinental title.

Elias: Winning tonight would mean the world to Woods and to Big E as well.

Michael Cole: The New Day wants each other to succeed.

Elias: A lot of people say that in WWE. New Day might be one of the few groups where that is the truth.

*AIN’T NO MAKE BELIEVE*​

Boos from the crowd as JOHN MORRISON walks out with the title around his waist and he is joined by his bodyguard ERICK ROWAN! He does his full slow-motion entrance mocking the fans before heading to the ring as Woods looks on.

Michael Cole: Normally Morrison is joined by his wife Franky Monet but she must be licking her wounds after losing tonight.

Elias: There have been a lot of questions about Morrison’s ability to get his job done on his own.

Michael Cole: And with Big E outside the ring, the presence of Erick Rowan could be neutralized.

Elias: But can Woods break through and become a singles champion in his first one on one attempt?

John Morrison stands in the ring as the title announcements start. John carries on acting cocky and relaxed as Woods stays calm with Big E hyping his friend up. The referee passes the title belt to the timekeeper before calling for the bell to get this match underway!

Intercontinental title match:
John Morrison © w/Erick Rowan vs Xavier Woods w/Big E​

Once the bell rings John Morrison doesn’t stop his trash talk but Woods keeps focused ignoring the comments from Morrison. Morrison winds up the fans and doesn’t seem to be paying much mind to Woods so XAVIER CATCHES HIM WITH A KICK TO THE HEAD! Morrison falls back and over the ropes in over-the-top fashion as the crowd cheers wildly!

The champion gets to his feet outside the ring helped up by Rowan as the challenger smirks and dares him to come back inside! John Morrison doesn’t take this lightly and storms into the ring going right for Morrison GOING FOR A HIGH KNEE BUT XAVIER AVOIDS IT ROLLING UP MORRISON! 1 2 Morrison kicks out! Woods nearly stunned Morrison in the opening minute!

Morrison looks furious and shell-shocked as Woods connects with a SNAP DDT sending Morrison’s skull into the mat 1 2 Morrison kicks out! Outside the ring, Rowan can be seen teasing getting involved and that gets the attention of Big E who gives him a stare. Back in the ring Woods lays into Morrison with a series of kicks looking to keep the pressure up and Morrison is struggling to fight back! Woods runs the ropes…

AS ROWAN LOOKS TO TRIP HIM BUT WOODS SEES IT COMING SO SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES AND HITS A ONE-HANDED BULLDOG! Woods thinking on his feet and makes another cover 1 2 Morrison kicks out again! It is all Woods in the opening minutes and Morrison knows it as he rolls out of the ring upon the kick out looking to regroup with Erick Rowan outside the ring. Woods ain’t letting him rest this time hitting a SUCICDE DIVE WIPING THEM BOTH OUT!

The crowd goes wild as Woods gets back to his feet and grabs John Morrison sliding him back into the ring! Woods looks to head to the top rope and is ready to go for LIMIT BREAK EARLY! He starts to walk the ropes BUT MORRISON KICKS THE ROPES CROCHING WOODS ON THE TOP ROPE! Boos from the crowd for the cheap save by John Morrison. Woods falls back into the ring as Morrison leans on the ropes looking to recover after a rough start but he has a slight smirk.

He grabs hold of Woods and slams him down to the mat before slowing him down as he works over him in a headlock on the mat soaking in the boos from the crowd! Morrison then follows up with a series of punches to the head laying into Woods! Morrison grabs hold of Woods after the punches slamming him down on the mat once again before making the cover 1 2 Woods kicks out! Morrison gets back to his feet talking trash to Woods as Big E noticeably watches on, keeping his eyes on Morrison.

Morrison gives Woods a series of kicks before running off the ropes and connects with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Another rapid cover from the champion 1 2 Woods kicks out! Morrison follows up by laying into the back of Woods with a few kicks before grabbing hold of the legs of Woods and locking him in a CLOVERLEAF! Morrison trying to slow down Woods who has been on fire early on putting pressure on the back and legs but Woods makes it to the ropes fairly quickly forcing a break!

Morrison releases the hold of the count of 3 but upon breaking as Woods gets to his feet he gives him a CHEAP SHOT WITH A KNEE TO THE MID-SECTION! Morrison doesn’t stop there leaping off the ropes and hitting a CORKSCREW MOONSAULT! He makes the cover getting some cheers for that move 1 2 Woods kicks out! Morrison grabs hold of Woods at this point and connects with a series of knees laying into the challenger before lifting him into the air… BUT WOODS COUNTERS WITH A FALLING DDT! Woods is staggered by this as Morrison SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES AND HITS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Morrison then further mocks the New Day by doing Kofi’s old signature taunt. Morrison bends down and makes the cover as he stares at Big E! 1 2 Woods kicks out! Morrison smirks though as he remains in control of the mat and even shows off hitting THE FLARE LEGDROP! It gets boos from the crowd as Morrison makes a lax cover 1 2 Woods kicks out!

Morrison carries on the attack as he locks Woods in a KOJI CLUTCH! Morrison wrenches back on the hold putting Woods under a ton of pressure once again. Woods fights in the hold but is stuck in it for a good while until he gets his feet on the bottom rope to break the hold! Morrison breaks it straight away as Big E checks in his friend but as he does MORRISON CLOBBERS WOODS IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A WICKED KNEE STRIKE!

Morrison pulls Woods away from the ropes but that prompts BIG E TO GET ON THE RING APRON! Big E makes it clear he isn’t happy with what Morrison is doing but Big E gets pulled off the ring apron by ERICK ROWAN! Boos from the crowd as Rowan pushes Big E and Mr. Money in the Bank responds by PUNCHING ROWAN IN THE FACE! The two larger men start trading fists and end up BRAWLING UP THE ENTRANCE RAMP AS THEY HEAD BACKSTAGE! Morrison though spends too long watching them brawl as XAVIER GOES FOR THE BACKWOODS!

Loud boos from the crowd as John Morrison rolls off of Woods and gets to his feet with a smug smirk on his face. He lifts the Intercontinental title into the air showing off the title he retained tonight. Xavier Woods meanwhile rolls out of the ring and sits by the barricade devasted he was unable to pick up the victory tonight.

Michael Cole: John Morrison is still the Intercontinental champion but Xavier made him work for it tonight.

Elias: Xavier came this close to becoming a champion and I feel if he gets a future title shot, he will achieve singles glory like his tag team partners.

Michael Cole: You have to wonder what is next for Morrison after his victory tonight.

Elias: Well we know one man who still has an axe to grind.

John Morrison walks backward up the entrance ramp as he lifts the Intercontinental title into the air showing it off… AS THE MIZ ATTACKS HIM FROM BEHIND AND HITS THE SKULL-CRUSHING FINALE! Renee Young: Ladies, it is a big night for both of you. Natalya, you will get the chance to become a three-time Women’s champion whilst Charlotte you will have a rematch with Ronda Rousey. How are you both feeling ahead of this match?

Natalya: Tonight is massive. I get the chance to put Shayna in her place and avenge my best friend Beth.

Natalya turns to Charlotte.

The Queen then turns back to Renee.

That causes Natalya to raise an eyebrow which Charlotte notices.

A loud pop from the live crowd as SAMI ZAYN makes his way out and looks focused as he slaps hands with the fans. Once he finishes playing to the fans he heads down the entrance ramp and climbs into the ring ready for action.

Michael Cole: Sami Zayn is looking for revenge tonight against Randy Orton after being put on the shelf by him and missing Wrestlemania.

Elias: As someone still recovering from an injury, I can personally tell you how much it hurts to miss a Wrestlemania.

A massive mixed reaction from the live crowd as RANDY ORTON slowly walks onto the entrance ramp. The viper takes his time, not taking his eyes off Sami in the ring before smirking as he slowly slithered down the ramp and towards the ring.

Michael Cole: Randy Orton is known for being a legend killer but as time has gone on he has become a career killer too.

Elias: That punt to the skull is famous for ending careers and putting people on the shelf for months.

Michael Cole: It was even banned once upon a time.

Elias: The influence Randy has is strong enough for him to get it unbanned.

Randy steps into the ring and smiles as Sami remains focused. The referee checks both men before calling for the bell to get this match underway!

Grudge match:
Randy Orton vs Sami Zayn​

Sami takes his time once the bell rings, knowing the Viper can strike at any time. Orton slowly paces around the ring, circling Sami like he is prey before going in looking to take him down. Sami meets him in the middle of the ring as the pair lock up. Randy takes control and brings Sami down to the mat as he looks to grind him down but Sami fights out of it with a few elbow strikes before running the ropes… CLOTHESLINE WIPING OUT SAMI!

Orton smirks as he tilts his head ready to play with his food as he once again works over Sami on the mat bringing him down and lays into him as he grinds away on Zayn. The commentary team wonders if Sami might have bit off more than he can chew by asking for this match but the former NXT Champion soon looks like fighting back until Orton transitions into a BACKBREAKER cutting off Sami Zayn. Orton makes the cover 1 Sami kicks out! Orton will need to do a lot more to put him away!

Orton would lay in a few shots to the back of Sami before picking him up but Zayn counters rolling Orton up! 1 2 Orton kicks out! Sami nearly outsmarted the Viper and he knows it as he goes for a clothesline BUT ZAYN CATCHES HIM WITH A CALF KICK! Cheers from the crowd who get behind Sami as he makes the cover 1 Orton powers out! The Underdog from the Underground will need to do a lot more to win this match but he knows that as he runs off the ropes and hits a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Sami makes another cover 1 Orton powers out!

Sami looks to lift Orton off the mat and go for a suplex but ORTON ESCAPES WITH A FEW ELBOWS! Sami staggers back and Orton once again hits a BACKBREAKER targeting the back of Sami! He rolls on the mat in pain and Orton gives him a few stomps to the back before rolling him over for another cover 1 Sami kicks out! The commentary team points out that each of these rapid covers will be taking its toll on Sami’s back each time he kicks out!

Orton picks up Sami and looks for a BACKDROP SUPLEX BUT SAMI COUNTERS WITH A DDT! Cheers from the crowd as Sami makes the cover 1 2 Orton kicks out! Sami holds his back feeling the effects of the opening attack by Orton before grabbing the legs of the Viper looking to go for a SHARPSHOOTER… BUT ORTON KICKS HIM AWAY INTO THE CORNER! Sami’s back hits the turnbuckle and Orton follows up with a series of CLOTHESLINES IN THE CORNER!

He lays into Sami in the corner keeping the pressure up and gets a warning from the referee for keeping him in the corner too long! Orton shakes his head before lifting Sami up and taking him across the ring to hit him with SNAKE EYES! Orton once again goes back on the attack slowly working over the body of Sami Zayn with the GARVIN STOMPS attacking the limbs of Zayn! Sami looks to keep the pressure up grabbing hold of Orton and looks to send him into the corner for the HULLEVA KICK… BUT ORTON CUTS HIM RIGHT OFF WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Sami falls back down to the mat as Orton works over him on the mat and looks to pick him apart, this time going after the back. He wrenches back on Sami and wears him down on his knee. Sami tries to escape from the hold but Orton slams him back down to the mat with a SUPLEX! Orton makes the cover 1 2 Zayn kicks out!

Orton rolls Zayn over onto the mat and locks him in a MODFIDED CAMEL CLUTCH! He wrenches back on the hold and looks to cause Sami as much pain as possible. Sami is in pain and looks to make it to the ropes but Orton is keeping the pressure on him! The commentary team reminds us of the heart of Sami and he won’t give up on this match without a fight! He eventually makes it to the ropes forcing a break! Orton though keeps the hold on till the count of 4 before finally letting go!

Orton backs off for a moment before laying into Sami with a series of stomps by the ropes once again getting a warning from the referee! He breaks away as Sami falls away from the ropes but Orton can smell blood and heads to the middle of the ring as he pounds the mat ready for the RKO! Sami staggers back to his feet and struggles to stay steady as Orton dives in for a killer blow BUT SAMI PUSHES HIM OFF! Orton stumbles back before running into a LEG LARIAT! Sami makes the cover 1 2 Orton kicks out!

Sami gets to his feet holding his back as he heads to the top rope and waits for Orton to get back to his feet before DIVING OFF THE TOP ROPE HITTING A CROSSBODY! Sami stays on for the cover 1 2 Orton kicks out! Sami Zayn then waits for Orton to get back to his feet before hitting him with an EXPLODER SUPLEX SENDING HIM INTO THE CORNER! Sami lines Orton up and charges in looking for a HULLEVA KICK… ORTON AVOIDS IT! Sami then charges at Orton but gets hit with a SCOOP SLAM! Vintage Orton as he makes the cover 1 2 Sami kicks out!

Orton looks angry and looks to size up Sami for the RKO once again but as he gets to his knees he smirks and… HEADS RIGHT TO THE CORNER OF THE RING! The crowd boos loudly as they know what this means! Sami struggles to his knees as Orton is ready to go for the kill… HE CHARGES IN… SAMI WAS READY FOR IT AND MOVES BEFORE ROLLING HIM UP INTO A PINNING PREDICAMENT!

Orton kicks out at 3.01 but it is too late! Sami gets out of the ring and celebrates the victory as Orton looks in total shock. Orton gets back to his feet and starts to argue with the referee about it not being a 3 count as Sami carries on his celebrations.

Michael Cole: Sami Zayn outsmarts Randy Orton and picks up the victory!

Elias: Sami knew the punt was coming and was prepared for it, using Orton’s attempt to hit it to win the match!

Michael Cole: And I don’t think Randy is taking it well!

Elias: The referee might want to get out of there!

As Sami heads to the back to finish his celebration, Orton carries on the argument with the referee getting right in his face! The official tries to get away from the Viper… BUT THEN GETS HIT WITH AN RKO! Loud boos from the crowd as Orton glares at the official!

Michael Cole: That will be a suspension!

Elias: Orton is a law onto himself!

Michael Cole: He always has been.

Elias: Whilst we check on our official I’m getting word that Renee Young is just trying to get a few words with Xavier Woods after his loss. Let’s go to her now!

We cut to the backstage area and RENEE YOUNG has a microphone as she approaches THE NEW DAY! XAVIER WOODS is sitting down on a bench with BIG E and KOFI KINGSTON on either side of their close friend.

Renee Young: Woods, I know this might not be a good time but…

Kofi steps up stopping her.

Kofi Kingston: Renee, we love you but right now we want to be left alone with our friend.

Renee nods understanding that as she leaves the locker room but as she leaves… MVP WALKS INTO THE ROOM! Big E looks up and does not look impressed. Kofi though stays a lot calmer and more measured.

Kofi Kingston: Montel…

MVP: Kofi! It’s been too long!

MVP offers his hand and Kofi takes a moment before shaking it.

MVP: How’s your leg holding up? Are you back in the ring for a bit more of Kofimania soon?

Kofi shakes his head.

Kofi Kingston: I got a while yet Montel. But as soon as I am back, I’ll be doing what I’m doing now.

He put looks to Woods who nods but stays silent fist bumping him.

Kofi Kingston: Supporting my boys.

MVP sticks his arms out.

MVP: Hey it looks like they need a bit more support…

Big E at that point rises to his feet sizes up and gets closer to MVP who puts his hands up defensively.

MVP: Easy E…

Big E: You better be careful what you say next because I’ve already had one fight. I’ll gladly have another tonight.

MVP shakes his head.

MVP: I was just once again offering my help.

Big E: We don’t want it.

MVP slightly smiles at this point.

MVP: Maybe if you had joined my Hurt Business, Woods would be a champion right now.

Xavier shakes his head and Big E gets up close to MVP but Kofi stops him from getting any closer to hit him.

Kofi Kingston: E, leave it.

Big E backs away slightly and looks like he is going to walk away but turns back to MVP.

Big E: You’re right Kofi. Montel is desperate because no one wants to join the Hurt Business.

MVP looks angry at this point.

MVP: I’m offering you the deal of a lifetime but I’m not waiting much longer! And by the end of tomorrow night, you’ll know what you’re missing out on!

MVP walks off and leaves the room as Big E and Kofi go back to cheering up their friend as we cut back to the ring for the Cruiserweight title match!

PETE DUNNE makes his way out first getting loud cheers from the live crowd. He poses at the top of the entrance ramp smirking with his fist pressed to his cheeks before walking to the ring, looking to become a Cruiserweight champion for the first time ever.

Michael Cole: Pete Dunne last year came to Smackdown and made an impact straight away. Can he do the same tonight?

Elias: Pete Dunne is an expert in taking your limbs apart and as someone who stepped into the ring with his last year, his joint manipulation is second to none!

Loud boos from the live crowd as ANGEL GARZA walks out with the Cruiserweight title around his waist and is wearing an open white shirt with a rose in his mouth. He is then joined by his girlfriend of recent times EVA MARIE! She takes the rose from his mouth before making out with his to heat from the crowd. Pete in the ring doesn’t seem to care and just wants to get on with the action as Garza slowly heads to the ring.

Michael Cole: Angel Garza managed to escape from a triple threat match with Mustafa Ali and Dolph Ziggler with that title thanks to Eva Marie.

Elias: I can see Pete Dunne not taking any of those games during this match.

Michael Cole: Angel Garza has shown a ton of fear in the lead-up to this match and he will need to be on top of his game if he wants to defeat Pete Dunne.

Elias: But with the rest of the Ungovernables busy with their own business, Angel will have to do it with just Eva Marie at ringside!

Angel Garza steps into the ring and passes the Cruiserweight title to the referee, remaining wary of Pete Dunne. The referee lifts the title into the air as the usual pre-match introductions are done and the referee calls for the bell to get this underway!

The bell rings and Pete Dunne charges right at Garza, who rolls out of the ring straight away to boos from the crowd! Dunne doesn’t look impressed and neither are the crowd. Angel kisses his valet before looking to slide back into the ring… BEFORE SLIDING OUT AGAIN WHEN DUNNE COMES CLOSE! The Bruiserweight is starting to get pissed off as Angel talks with his partner getting even more heat before walking around the ring as Dunne waits in the middle. Angel slides in before retreating again AND DUNNE HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THE GAMES!

He slides out of the ring and gives chase to Angel Garza as they run around the ring BUT EVA MARIE stands in front of him blocking the path! Dunne gets close to her and she goes to slap him… BUT HE GRABS HER HAND! Eva’s eyes widen as DUNNE GETS READY TO SNAP HER FINGERS to a massive pop from the live crowd! However, before he can snap them… ANGEL GARZA LEAPS THROUGH THE ROPES AND WIPES HIM OUT WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!

Boos from the crowd as Angel acts cocky whilst Eva Marie scrambles away from Pete Dunne, clearly not wanting her nails (and fingers) broken! Angel grabs hold of Dunne and sends him into the STEEL STEPS! The boos from the crowd as Angel dances before grabbing Dunne and rolling him back inside the ring! He leaps onto the ropes and springboards off them hitting a MOONSAULT! Angel makes the cover 1 2 Dunne kicks out! But the champion is in control of the match early on!

Angel runs off the ropes and connects with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! He looks to keep Dunne on the mat before following up with a series of kicks pressuring him but he goes for one too many as DUNNE COUNTERS AND HITS A DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP! He slams Angel’s back onto the mat and locks in a KNEEBAR! Angel shouts in pain but boots Dunne away from him to break the hold fairly quickly! He gets back to his feet but so does Dunne who scowls at him and grabs Garza before he can leave the ring again SLAMMING HIM DOWN WITH A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX!

Angel winces in pain which makes Dunne happy who follows up by booting him in the face! Dunne makes the cover 1 2 Angel kicks out! Dunne is quick to follow up after the cover and grabs hold of the arm of Garza looking to lay into him with a series of elbows… but Garza PELE KICKS HIM AWAY! Dunne stumbles back as Angel runs the ropes and DROPKICKS DUNNE INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! Angel leaps into the air looking to follow up on Dunne but gets hit with CRASH LANDING!

Dunne slams the champion down to the mat cutting him off once again! Dunne doesn’t stop there and connects with a series of forearms keeping Garza down for the moment before making a cover 1 2 Garza kicks out! Garza upon kicking out looks to get away from Dunne again which further frustrates the challenger. Meanwhile, Eva walks back towards the ring but Dunne spotting her makes it clear what will happen if he gets his hands on her fingers so she backs away! This gives Garza the opening he needs tho as he hits a SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF DUNNE’S HEAD!

Dunne falls down to the mat and Angel follows up with a LOW NECKBREAKER slamming the challenger down to the mat! Angel makes the cover 1 2 Dunne kicks out! Angel smiles and looks to keep the pressure up as he lifts Dunne off the mat getting him in position for a DDT… BUT DUNNE FIGHTS OUT OF IT BEFORE SMASHING GARZA IN THE JAW! Garza looks to reply with a SUPERKICK BUT DUNNE CATCHES HIS FOOT AND COUNTERS WITH A DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP!

Dunne bends Angel onto his front as he locks him in a BOSTON CRAB! He wrenches back on the hold as he looks to slow down Angel Garza and make him suffer a little. The commentary also mentions if he weakens Garza's legs, he can’t run away from him! Angel has to use his strength to get to the ropes to force a break with Dunne making full use of the referee’s count before letting go of the hold! Angel goes to use the ropes to get back to his feet BUT DUNNE CLOCKS HIM WITH A FOREARM SMASH SENDING HIM TO THE RING FLOOR!

Dunne climbs onto the ring apron as Angel struggles on the outside of the ring but gets to his feet and gets hit with a MOONSAULT OFF THE RING APRON! Cheers from the crowd as Dunne is in total control and he sees the steel steps! He grabs hold of Angel and SLAMS HIM INTO THEM WITH AN IRISH WHIP! Payback for earlier on in the match but the Bruiserweight isn’t done there! He grabs hold of the hand of Garza and places it onto the steel steps BEFORE STOMPING ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GARZA!

A massive shout of pain as a frightened Eva Marie watches on but the crowd loves Dunne making Garza suffer! Garza rolls away shouting in pain before Dunne grabs hold of him and rolls him back into the ring. He makes sure to keep an eye on Eva Marie who wisely stays away from him as Dunne goes back to work. He looks to grab the hand and arm of Angel Garza ready to go for the FINGER SNAP… BUT WITH HIS OTHER HAND GARZA DESPERATELY FIGHTS HIM OFF!

Garza gets back to his feet and catches Dunne as he charges in with a DROPKICK TO HIS KNEE! Garza cuts him off but has to take a moment to wince due to the damage done to his right leg early on in the match. Garza runs off the ropes and connects with a DOUBLE LEG DROP TO THE MID-SECTION! Garza makes the cover 1 2 Dunne kicks out! Eva can be heard cheering outside the ring but she still keeps her distance as Garza instead of being fearful now looks a bit angry and gives Dunne a few hard kicks with his left leg!

Garza grabs hold of him lifting him up off the mat and hits a REBOUND INVERTED SUPLEX slamming down Dunne on the mat. He makes the cover 1 2 Dunne kicks out! Garza shakes his head annoyed that Dunne is giving him a tough time. Garza looks to then springboard off the ropes again… DUNNE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Garza lands on the mat slightly awkwardly before hitting a CHOP BLOCK TO THE RIGHT LEG CAUSING HIM TO BUCKLE ON THE MAT!

Garza winces in pain and looks to grab hold of the right leg as he yanks on it looking to cause a bunch of damage to it. He gets it wrapped into a KNEEBAR and Garza once again is struggling thanks to the submission skills of the British Bruiserweight. Garza tries to get Dunne off him with a series of kicks again with his left leg. Dunne this time is ready for it and grabs the left leg transitioning from a kneebar into a SHARPSHOOTER! The commentary team put over how lethal the hold is and Garza screams in pain forced to reach out to grab the bottom rope to break the hold!

Dunne once again keeps the hold on for the maximum time allowed before releasing it. Garza is struggling to stay alive and at this point, Eva Marie comes back over to check on him. This prompts Dunne to tell her to back away from the ring, rightfully not trusting Eva Marie. Garza whilst he is distracted rolls to the corner of the ring and TAKES OFF THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE PAD! He tosses the pad away and gets back to his feet using the corner as Dunne charges in… GARZA LEAPFROGS OVER HIM… BUT DUNNE STOPS HIMSELF BEFORE HITTING THE TURNBUCKLE PAD… BUT GARZA ROLLS HIM UP ANYWAY!

Garza looks to go for a DROPKICK TO DUNNE BUT THE BRUISERWEIGHT JUMPS OVER HIM AND STOMPS ON THE RIGHT LEG! A brutal counter from Dunne as Garza winces in pain and the Brit shakes his head with a scowl on his face as locks the right arm behind himself before HITTING A SERIES OF ELBOWS TO THE HEAD! Pete Dunne is vicious in his assault as he reigns down brutal strikes to the head of Angel who can’t fire back as Dunne is hammering away on the champion! He keeps firing off the elbow strikes until Garza fades in his arms and falls down to the mat as Dunne makes the cover

ANGEL KICKS OUT!​

The champion is on the ropes and Dunne is aware of that as he grabs the right arm of Garza AND TEASES THE FINGER SNAP ONCE AGAIN! However, before he can do it… EVA MARIE JUMPS ONTO THE RING APRON AND PULLS HIS HAIR! Nuclear heat for Eva getting involved prompting Dunne to turn around and bring her over the ropes into the ring! The referee goes to DQ Garza… BUT DUNNE STOPS HIM! He doesn’t want Garza to escape like that before turning to Eva squirming on the mat! He grabs hold of her right arm and SNAPS THE FINGERS OF EVA MARIE TO A HUGE POP FROM THE LIVE CROWD!

She screams in pain and rolls out of the ring comically over-selling the damage done, as she is in floods of tears. The medical team approaches to check on her and take her away from ringside leaving ANGEL GARZA ALL ALONE! Pete Dunne shrugs upon her leaving but as he turns around ANGEL GARZA PLANTS HIM WITH A HAMMERLOCK DDT! Loud boos from the crowd as Garza hits Andrade signature move. He looks angry but makes the cover

DUNNE KICKS OUT!​

Garza looks angry that Dunne was able to kick out but he jumps on Dunne laying into him with a series of punches to the head, looking to avenge his girlfriend and wails on him on the mat! He is firing off a series of blows to the head as the referee keeps an eye on things but Garza stays on him for too long as DUNNE GRABS ONE OF HIS ARMS AND BITES IT! Dunne is fighting dirty and gets a warning from the referee but Garza is forced off of him and retreats to the ropes shaking his arm!

Dunne looks to go back on the attack but Garza kicks him away from the ropes before springboarding off them with a MOONSAULT! Garza this time chooses to not make the cover and instead looks to the top rope! He climbs to the top as he waits for Pete Dunne to get back up before flying off the top rope looking for… FOUR-STAR FOREARM FROM PETE DUNNE CATCHING GARZA IN MID-AIR! Garza crumples down to the mat and Dunne makes the cover

Garza kicks out!​

Pete Dunne looks a bit annoyed that Garza hasn’t stayed down and grabs hold of his arms locking them in between his fingers before HE STARTS STOMPING ON HIS HEAD! A brutal assault from Pete Dunne as he lays into the Cruiserweight champion with a series of brutal stomps before finishing off with one more with extra force! Dunne makes the cover once again even pushing his forearm onto the face of Garza! 1 2 Garza stays alive!

The commentary team put over the heart being shown by Angel Garza even with all of his cheating! Dunne though only has interest in stomping that heart out of Garza as he drags him off the mat and connects with a REGAL-PLEX! Dunne follows up with another quick cover 1 2 Garza stays alive! Dunne is looking a bit annoyed but grabs hold of him and this time connects with the X-PLEX! Dunne makes another cover 1 2 Garza kicks out again… BUT DUNNE GRABS HIS RIGHT ARM AND SNAPS THE FINGERS OF ANGEL GARZA!

Garza screams in pain AND DUNNE USES THAT TO TRANSITION TO LOCKING GARZA IN A CROSS-ARMBREAKER! Dunne is wrenching back on the hold and tries to force Garza to give up on the Cruiserweight title! Garza tries to get to the ropes but is trapped in the middle of the ring! Garza screams in pain but refuses to tap out… so DUNNE STARTS MAINUPLATING THE JOINTS OF GARZA TWISTING THE BUSTED FINGERS OF GARZA CAUSING HIM EVEN MORE AGONY!

Garza screams in pain as the commentary team mentions that Dunne is famous for using joint manipulation to inflict extra damage and Garza LIFTS HIS ARM IN THE AIR… BUT CLENCHES HIS FIST AND REFUSES TO TAP OUT! The champion is still trapped in the middle of the ring however and needs to find a way to escape from the hold or his title reign is over! He looks to push off the mat and eventually uses all of his power to POWERBOMB DUNNE ONTO THE MAT BREAKING THE HOLD!

Garza is forced to roll away from the Bruiserweight and clutches his right arm/fingers whilst struggling to stand and it is Dunne who gets back to his feet first! Pete Dunne charges in and looks to lift up Garza for the BITTER END… GARZA COUNTERS AND HITS A HURRICANRANA SENDING DUNNE INTO THE EXPOSED MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE! The commentary wonders if that was on purpose until we see a cheeky smirk on Garza’s face and the referee doesn’t realize as Dunne stumbles back… GARZA GRABS HOLD OF HIM AND HITS THE WING CLIPPER! Garza makes the cover hooking with the left arm!

GARZA ESCAPES WITH THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE!

Winner via pinfall and still Cruiserweight Champion: Angel Garza (14:03)​

Loud boos from the crowd as Garza hops to his feet and is struggling to stand on his bad leg, with the referee needing to raise his left arm into the air. Garza smiles wildly and knows he escaped tonight with the Cruiserweight title.

Michael Cole: By hook or by crook, Angel Garza did it!

Elias: He exposed that turnbuckle earlier in the match and waited for the right opportunity to use it to his advantage.

Michael Cole: But how is Angel Garza going to cope in the coming weeks?

Elias: He is struggling to stand right now and we had a new number-one contender crowned earlier tonight!

We cut backstage at that point as we see a smirking DOLPH ZIGGLER holding the contract for a Cruiserweight title shot and nodding his head, clearly happy with the state Angel Garza’s body is in after his war with Pete Dunne.

Elias: And it looks like Dolph Ziggler is up to something!

Michael Cole: We will have to find out on tomorrow’s Raw. But right now we have a grudge match years in the making: Charlotte Flair versus Ronda Rousey. Let’s see how we got here!

We get a hype video for the upcoming match as we see clips of their first-ever match and Charlotte smashing her with a steel chair around her throat. The clip focuses on the cheers and we cut to Ronda lambasting the fans recently for cheering Charlotte doing that to her. We then see clips of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler taking over Monday Night Raw. We then see Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Lita, Trish Stratus and Team Kick leading the fight back against the MMA Horsewomen before we cut to Charlotte’s promo promising to reign supreme and finish what she started by taking out Ronda Rousey for good as we cut back to the ring for the next match.

RONDA ROUSEY makes her way out first but she is soon joined by the rest of the MMA HORSEWOMEN! JESSAMYN DUKE and MARINA SHAFIR both head to the ring with Ronda Rousey joining her at ringside whilst the crowd showers her with a ton of heat! SHAYNA BASZLER meanwhile heads to the commentary desk taking a seat next to Michael Cole and Elias!

Michael Cole: Well it looks like our Women’s Universal champion and fellow Women’s tag team champion with Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler is joining us. Welcome Shayna.

Shayna Baszler: Thanks Michael. I just wanted to give you guys some expert insight from someone close to Ronda as she sends another of the four horsewomen home.

Elias: I mean she didn’t send Becky Lynch home. Becky went home because of her pregnancy.

Shayna Baszler: Do you want a broken jaw to go with your broken leg Elias?

*ALL HAIL THE QUEEN*​

A massive mixed reaction but way more cheers than normal as CHARLOTTE FLAIR walks out! Looking every bit the Queen of the women’s division she is, she heads straight for the ring and locks eyes with Ronda Rousey. But there is no one by her side, the Queen is doing this alone.

Michael Cole: I’ve been told earlier tonight that Charlotte Flair said she wanted to do this alone to send a message and told her allies in the locker room as of late to only come out if any of you get involved.

Shaya Baszler: Why would we need to get involved? Only one person has defeated Ronda and she ain’t in that ring.

Elias: That’s not stopped you from interfering before.

Shayna Baszler: Tonight is about sending a message to the locker room and putting Charlotte in her place. Duke and Shafir are just learning from Ronda up close.

Charlotte stands across from Ronda Rousey as the two women glare at each other before the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Grudge match:
Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey w/Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir ​

Both women take their time once the bell rings and pose for the fans. Both women eventually meet in the middle of the ring and lock up with each other battling for control. Ronda wins control initially getting Charlotte in a headlock BUT CHARLOTTE ESCAPES AND SLAMS RONDA DOWN TO THE MAT! Charlotte walks away from her and smirks as Ronda looks annoyed before charging in with a RIGHT HAND ROCKING CHARLOTTE… BUT THE QUEEN STARTS THROWING HANDS BACK!

The hatred can be felt in the first minute of this match as two women battle to the middle of the ring with Charlotte matching Ronda blow for blow until Ronda catches one of her right hands and HITS AN ARM DRAG INTO AN ARMBAR ALREADY! Charlotte scrambles quickly and gets her feet on the bottom rope to break the hold! Ronda keeps the hold on till the count of 2 before breaking as she looks at Charlotte saying she was this close to beating her… PROMPTING HER TO LEAP UP AND CLOCK RONDA ROUSEY ONCE AGAIN!

Ronda is rocked and gets a series of chops before being sent out of the ring by Ronda with a clothesline! Ronda lands on the floor and rubs her jaw clearly not happy with how the match has started. The goons make sure their leader is OK as she pushes them off whilst Shayna says even the best have a rough start. Charlotte inside the ring meanwhile moves back to the middle and sticks her arms out as she taunts Ronda getting cheers from most of the fans.

Ronda slides back into the ring as she jumps onto Charlotte and once again these two women start brawling on the mat as they battle for control! Ronda’s MMA experience helps her as she goes for an ARMBAR once again… BUT CHARLOTTE HEADBUTTS HER! Ronda falls back as Charlotte follows up with a BIG BOOT TO THE SKULL! Charlotte makes the cover 1 Ronda powers out! A lot more is needed to put Ronda away and Charlotte knows that laying into her with a series of forearms!

She picks her up to send her into the corner BUT RONDA COUNTERS AND SLAMS CHARLOTTE INTO THE CORNER INSTEAD! Ronda follows up leaping into the air and SMASHES CHARLOTTE WITH A FOREARM SMASH! She follows up with a series of shoulder thrusts before getting told off by the referee for not breaking the count! She turns back around and CHARLOTTE SLAPS RONDA RIGHT IN THE FACE! She steps back as Charlotte takes her down with a CLOTHESLINE!

Ronda falls down to the mat wincing in pain before Charlotte grabs hold of her and hits an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Ronda’s back bounces off the mat as Charlotte makes the cover 1 Ronda powers out! Charlotte once again goes right back on the attack laying into Ronda with a few strikes before pulling Ronda off the mat and IRISH WHIPS HER INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING THIS TIME! Charlotte follows up by slamming her with a SERIES OF KNEES TO THE HEAD IN THE CORNER AS RONDA SLUMPS DOWN!

Charlotte then slides out of the ring and looks to go after the legs of Ronda, teasing a RINGPOST FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK… BUT DUKE AND SHAFIR BLOCK HER! Loud boos from the crowd and commentary criticize the goons but Shayna defends them saying Charlotte got in their way! The duo gets pushed out of the way so Charlotte can go for the move but RONDA KICKS HER THROUGH THE RING ROPES SENDING CHARLOTTE BACK!

Ronda is then quick to follow up by climbing to the top rope and DIVES TO THE OUTSIDE WIPING OUT CHARLOTTE WITH A FLYING FOREARM SMASH! The hatred between these two is on full display as they are doing whatever it takes to take the other one down! Ronda grabs Charlotte up by her hair and THROWS HER INTO THE BARRICADE! Charlotte’s back slams off it and slides down as Ronda carries on her attack jumping onto Charlotte and hitting her with a series of punches to the head!

She is laying into her with pure venom and takes full advantage of the distraction provided by her goons. The referee in the ring is counting as Ronda hears them before sliding in and out of the ring to break the count! She gives Charlotte a punch to the head before looking at the steel steps and having evil intentions. She sends Charlotte into the STEEL STEPS BEFORE HITTING A JUMPING KNEE CRUSHING CHARLOTTE BETWEEN HER KNEE AND THE STEPS!

Charlotte slumps down as the crowd boos the hell out of her but Ronda isn’t done. The referee tells her off but Ronda slides in and out shouting at the referee “YOU CAN’T DO ANYTHING. I WON’T GET FIRED!” as she approaches Charlotte Flair again! She moves the steel steps before placing Charlotte’s arm against the ring post! Charlotte tries to squirm BUT RONDA CLOCKS HER IN THE FACE A FEW TIMES STOPPING HER! Ronda walks over to the steps AND KICKS THEM INTO HER RIGHT ARM CRUSHING IT!

The Queen screams in pain as the commentary criticizes the attack but Shayna defends it saying this is payback for when Charlotte tried to end Ronda’s career! Ronda slides back into the ring soaking in the boos from the crowd as Charlotte falls to the ring floor and clutches her right arm, in tears due to the pain caused by that slam with the steel steps. We see a bunch of the medical team come over to her as Ronda tells the referee to start counting as they argue in the ring.

The referee makes it clear he could disqualify her for what she just did but Ronda tells the referee she’ll get him fired. Back outside the ring, the medics check Charlotte and confirm whilst damaged, her arm is not broken. They ask her if she wants to continue and she pushes them away before standing her feet locking eyes with a smirking Ronda in the ring! Charlotte rolls into the ring and AVOIDS A CHARGING RONDA BEFORE BOUNCING BACK OFF THE ROPES AND HITTING A ONE-ARMED SPEAR! Charlotte makes the cover unable to hook the leg! 1 2 Ronda kicks out!

Charlotte winces in pain and she knows she is going to have to end this quickly if she is to have a chance of winning! She looks to go after the legs of Ronda and attempts to lock in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK… RONDA KICKS HER AWAY AND GETS ONE KICK OFF ON THE RIGHT ARM! Charlotte screams in pain and Ronda hits a TAKEDOWN SLAMMING HER ON THE MAT! Ronda gets off a series of punches once again before STOMPING ON THE RIGHT ARM INFLICTING FURTHER PAIN!

The crowd is behind Charlotte fully now, not enjoying Ronda playing with her food as she yanks the arm twisting it behind the Queen and causing her even more pain on the mat! She refuses to give up however and tries to escape from the pain but Ronda counters with a JUDO THROW SLAMMING CHARLOTTE DOWN TO THE MAT AND KEEPING THE PRESSURE UP! She keeps her grip on Charlotte's right arm and BENDS IT DOWN ON THE MAT BEFORE STOMPING ON IT!

A tribute to her friend Shayna who smiles and tells the commentary team she is proud of her friend using her move! Charlotte is left clutching her arm on the mat and Michael Cole wonders if the referee will have to step in to stop this match before Charlotte is hurt long-term. Elias mentions that The Queen will not want to give in willingly and Ronda is going to take advantage of that to do serious damage. Ronda has had enough of Charlotte getting a moment to rest as CHARLOTTE LAYS INTO HER WITH A SERIES OF BOOTS TO THE BUSTED ARM!

Ronda overwhelms the Queen who grabs hold of the nearby ropes hoping to stop Ronda but she makes full use of the 5 count before backing away from The Queen! Charlotte winces in pain trying to get her bearings back BUT RONDA HITS A KNEE TO THE HEAD WHILST SHE IS IN THE ROPES! Charlotte is staggered as Ronda drags her onto her shoulders and gets ready to go for PIPER’S PIT… CHARLOTTE COUNTERS AND USING HER LEFT ARM HITS A SWINGING NECKBREAKER!

Charlotte though has taken too much damage to her right arm and doesn’t make the cover, instead using the ropes to slowly get back to her feet using only her left arm! She waits for Ronda to stagger back to her feet before connecting with a WICKED BIG BOOT! Charlotte then looks to the top rope having to go high-risk! She climbs up the ropes before standing on the top rope AND DIVES OFF CONNECTING WITH A DIVING MOONSAULT! Charlotte makes the cover draping herself over Ronda!

Ronda kicks out!​

Charlotte looks defeated as she knows she doesn’t have much time left to finish off Ronda and looks to the end this as she goes to lock in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK WITH ONE ARM… BUT RONDA HITS HER WITH A SIDE KICK TO THE HEAD! Charlotte stumbles away and Ronda would grab hold of her hitting a SERIES OF ROLLING SUPLEXES! She slams down Charlotte a good three times before TRANSITIONING INTO AN ARMBAR ON THE QUEEN WHO DESPERATELY SENDS RONDA BACK ESCAPING FOR NOW!

Charlotte knows she might be on the verge of losing and runs off the ropes looking for a BIG BOOT AGAIN BUT RONDA COUNTERS AS SHE SCOOPS UP CHARLOTTE AND PLANTS HER WITH ANOTHER PIPER’S PIT! Ronda though has no interest in going for the cover and instead stays on her locking in a CROSS ARMBREAKER! Charlotte is trapped in the middle of the ring as Ronda tears away at her right arm and Charlotte is in massive trouble! Shayna on commentary says Charlotte needs to tap or it will snap, revelling in the pain she is suffering… BUT CHARLOTTE GETS RONDA INTO A PINNING PREDICAMENT!

RONDA BREAKS THE HOLD AND KICKS OUT!​

Charlotte rolls away clutching her right arm again which is in agony and is hanging by a thread after the relentless assault by Ronda during this match. Ronda meanwhile is getting frustrated that Charlotte will not just stay down as she charges in BUT CHARLOTTE CATCHES HER WITH A LOW CHOP BLOCK TO THE RIGHT LEG USING HER LEFT ARM! Ronda falls to the mat and Charlotte knows this might be her only chance as she locks in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!

Charlotte locks in her father’s signature move and starts putting as much pressure as possible on Ronda's legs and back. On the commentary desk Shayna for the first time all match starts to show a little bit of fear and wonders if Charlotte might be about to become the second woman to ever defeat Ronda Rousey. Charlotte is putting as much pressure as she can on the right leg of Ronda but the former MMA Champion refuses to give up again no matter how much the fans want it!

Ronda tries to make it to the ropes and slowly starts being able to crawl to the ropes as she looks to get closer and closer to escaping the hold. Charlotte pulls with all her might but because of the damage to her right arm, she can’t push down with as much force as she normally would. Ronda is now inches from the ropes and in a moment of desperation CHARLOTTE TRIES TO BRIDGE FOR THE FIGURE EIGHT… BUT HER RIGHT ARM BUCKLE AND CHARLOTTE COLLAPSES RELEASING THE HOLD!

Charlotte is unable to keep the bridge due to the damage done to her right arm and Ronda as she uses the ropes to get back to her feet smells blood in the water! She picks up Ronda scooping her off the mat and planting her with a GUTWRENCH SUPLEX sending her back towards the middle of the ring! Charlotte lands with a thud as Ronda climbs on top of her and lays in a few stomps as she tries to lock in the CROSS ARMBREAKER… BUT CHARLOTTE DESPERATELY TRIES TO FIGHT HER OFF!

She is still trying to fight Ronda off and the crowd gets behind her as the commentary team mentions Flairs don’t fold without a fight! Charlotte tries to get back to her feet but RONDA CUTS HER OFF WITH A WICKED KNEE STRIKE TO THE HEAD! Charlotte falls down to the mat and this gives Ronda long enough to lock in a CROSS ARMBREAKER! She gets the hold locked in tight in the middle of the ring and CHARLOTTE FLAIR IS TRAPPED WITH NOWHERE TO GO!

Ronda is looking to break Charlotte's arm! The Queen looks to get out of the hold with another pinning predicament but RONDA ADJUSTS HER POSITIONING SO CHARLOTTE CAN’T GET HER SHOULDERS DOWN! Charlotte though doesn’t want to give up and tries to crawl to the ropes but she can’t make it! Ronda has the hold locked in tight but Charlotte is refusing to tap… SO RONDA HOLDS IT ON EVEN TIGHTER AND TWISTS IT EVEN MORE…

AND WE HEAR A SNAP AS CHARLOTTE SCREAMS IN AGONY!

RONDA KEEPS THE HOLD LOCKED IN AND CHARLOTTE…

LIGHTLY TAPS THE MAT THREE TIMES TO SUBMIT!

The crowd is silent at first before loudly booing as Ronda gets to her feet and soaks in the boos from the live crowd! Charlotte meanwhile lays on the mat and clutches her now most likely broken arm.

Shayna Baszler: I told you all! She was always going to break the arm of that bitch!

Shayna slams her headset down in celebration and leaves the commentary desk to join her friends as the other commentators carry on.

Michael Cole: Ronda managed to force the Queen to tap out tonight but not before totalling destroying her right arm.

Elias: Ronda came into this match with one mission. Try to end Charlotte’s career.

Michael Cole: She hadn’t forgotten what happened at Survivor Series just over a year ago.

Elias: Michael I don’t think they are done with Charlotte.

Elias is right as Shayna Baszler grabs a steel chair from under the ring and slides back inside before SMASHING IT ON THE ALREADY BROKEN ARM OF CHARLOTTE! Loud boos from the crowd due to the vile attack by Shayna as the goons Duke and Shafir lay several stomps to Charlotte on the mat before Shayna slips the chair around the broken arm of Ronda. Ronda heads to the corner and gets ready to PILLMANIZE HER UNTIL…

*NEW FOUNDATION*​

NATALYA runs out but she isn’t alone as she is joined by MELINA, DAKOTA KAI and TEGAN NOX from Team Kick who attack the MMA Horsewomen in the ring. Team Kick takes care of the goons whilst Melina sends Ronda out of the ring to cheers from the crowd and Natalya sends Shayna Baszler out of the ring. The crowd cheers the babyfaces as they dare the MMA Horsewomen to enter the ring and we don’t find out if they will because…

*GOD SAVE OUR QUEEN/END OF DAYS*​

WADE BARRETT walks out onto the stage in a suit and with a microphone in his hand as he points at the women in and around the ring.

Wade Barrett: OK that is enough! Shayna and Natalya, since you are out here already we are moving your Women’s Universal title match to right now!

Cheers from the crowd as the two women glare at each other. In the background, the medical team helps Charlotte Flair out of the ring and takes her to the back as Wade carries on.

Wade Barrett: And everyone else is banned from ringside!

Loud cheers from the crowd as the MMA Horsewomen look annoyed though Shayna doesn’t look too worried. Team Kick and Melina head to the back first before Ronda fist bumps her fellow tag team champion and Women’s Universal Champion in this match Shayna Baszler. The champion meanwhile steps into the ring as the usual title announcements are done before we ring the bell to get this match underway!

Natalya lands with a hard thud as she winces before turning around to see Shayna smirking telling Natalya “Doesn’t have to be this way Nattie”. Boos from the live crowd as THE UNGOVERNABLES members CESARO and ILJA DRAGUNOV walk out with their World tag team titles around their waists. Both men look a bit angry but they nod and fist bump as they walk to the ring alone.

Michael Cole: We have seen a few issues between the members of the Ungovernables as of late.

Elias: Cesaro especially has had issues with a lot of his fellow stablemates and Zelina has had to get the troops in line.

Michael Cole: But will those issues flare up tonight once again?

Elias: Any mistakes and we will see new tag team champions, Michael!

The two teams are now in the ring as the tag team champions discuss and Ilja makes it clear he wants to start. Cesaro looks like he disagrees but he allows his partner to step into the ring to start the match. Tyler looks at Trent and his partner nodes as Bate starts for his team whilst the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway!

The commentary team mentions these two men have fought before in Progress (2018) so will be familiar with each other’s game. Once the two men meet in the middle of the ring, the two Cruiserweights battle for control with Bate winning the exchange… UNTIL ILJA CLOBBERS HIM WITH A WICKED KNIFE-EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF TYLER!

Tyler stumbles back as Ilja goes for another hard chop to the chest so TYLER FIRES BACK WITH ONE OF HIS OWN! The two men stand in the middle of the ring at this point and start trading chops with each other as they try to turn each other’s chest red before Ilja connects with a wicked EUROPEAN UPPERCUT SENDING BATE BACK BEFORE GETTING ONE RIGHT BACK! Ilja is a bit staggered as Bate looks to carry on the attack but Ilja ducks and runs off the ropes hitting a DROPKICK! Ilja makes the cover 1 Tyler kicks out!

Ilja looks over to the corner as Cesaro nods and the Swiss Superman tags back into the match! Cesaro steps back into the ring as he and Bate lock eyes with the fans excited to see them go head-to-head! Bate dares Cesaro to meet him in the middle of the ring and asks for a test of strength! Cesaro smirks dismissively before locking up with Tyler Bate in the middle of the ring and they are evenly matched at first. Cesaro though smirks as he then gives it his full power BUT BATE HOLDS FIRMS AND EVEN OVERPOWERS CESARO SENDING HIM TO THE MAT!

Cesaro is in shock on the mat and the live crowd starts up a BIG STRONG BOI chant prompting a smile from Tyler Bate and proud dad on the ring apron Trent Seven to clap along. Cesaro has a scowl on his face as he looks to charge at Tyler but BATE COUNTERS WITH A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Cesaro lands with a thud as Bate makes the cover 1 Cesaro powers out! Bate though has taken control of the match for his team as he makes the tag and brings Trent Seven into the match!

Trent steps into the ring with a bit of a smirk as Cesaro remains heated after being shown up by Bate before charging in and Trent avoids him! Cesaro comes back off the ropes but Trent plants him with a DDT! Trent spikes Cesaro before turning to an annoyed Ilja on the ring apron and twirling his mustache! The Mad Russian doesn’t take that well looking to storm the ring BUT BATE MEETS HIM IN THE MIDDLE AS THEY TRADE BLOWS BEFORE FALLING OUT OF THE RING!

Back in the ring, Trent grabs hold of Cesaro and SLAMS HIM DOWN ONTO HIS BACK! Trent makes the cover 1 2 Cesaro kicks out! Trent starts to work over Cesaro on the mat as outside the ring, the brawl has carried on but Ilja has taken control before WIPING OUT BATE FOR THE MOMENT WITH A DIVING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Back in the ring, Cesaro soon overpowers Trent as he works over him but the Swiss Superman gets sent back as Trent runs the ropes… ILJA TRIPS HIM UP!

Boos from the crowd as Cesaro pounces on it and LEVELS SEVEN WITH A WICKED UPPERCUT! Boos from the crowd but Cesaro doesn’t care looking to pounce on the distraction caused by Ilja and starts rocking Seven with a few more hard uppercuts! Cesaro then grabs Seven with ease and SLAMS HIM INTO THE CORNER WITH A HARD IRISH WHIP! Trent falls to the mat clutching his back as Ilja reappears on the ring apron and Cesaro makes the tag!

Ilja has a wild smirk as he leaps onto Trent and lays into him with a series of forearms to the head, being every bit the mad Russian he is known for being! Ilja runs off the ropes and connects with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Ilja makes the cover 1 2 Trent kicks out! Ilja grabs Trent and Irish whips him back into their ring corner as they look to isolate Trent whilst making quick tags. Cesaro becomes the legal man again and whips Trent out of the corner into a LARIAT FROM ILJA!

Ilja rolls out of the ring as Cesaro makes the cover 1 2 Trent kicks out! Meanwhile, Tyler Bate makes it back onto the ring apron, still wincing after his brawl outside the ring earlier in the match with Ilja! Cesaro grabs hold of Trent and lays into him with a series of hard strikes to the head before looking directly at Tyler Bate and LIFTS TRENT INTO THE AIR SLAMMING HIM DOWN WITH A BRIDGING GERMAN SUPLEX! 1 2 Trent kicks out as Cesaro gets his feet and keeps his focus on Tyler on the apron.

He mouths off a few times at the young Brit before going back on the attack and lays into Seven with a series of uppercuts on the mat. He grabs hold of Seven as he wrenches him off the mat and sends him into the corner of the ring as Cesaro makes another quick tag bringing Ilja back inside. Ilja climbs onto the top rope as Cesaro SUPLEXES SEVEN TO THE MAT AND ILJA DIVES OFF HITTING A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP THE CHEST! A wicked blow as Ilja makes the cover 1 2 Seven kicks out!

The veteran though even after kicking out grabs his chest wincing slightly as Ilja lays into Seven with a series of kicks to the chest. Bate looks impatient as he paces up and down on the ring apron as Ilja finishes off his assault with a ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE SKULL! Ilja makes the cover 1 2 Trent kicks out! Trent is starting to struggle a bit on the mat as Ilja wildly smirks as he makes another quick tag! Ilja and Cesaro both run the ropes before meeting Trent in the middle with DUAL UPPERCUTS TO SEVEN! Ilja leaves the ring as Cesaro makes the cover 1 2 Seven kicks out!

Cesaro grabs hold of Seven and gets him in an ABDOMINAL STRETCH working over the mid-section of Trent Seven and wrenches on him causing the veteran a ton of pain. Trent can be heard letting out sounds of pain as Cesaro makes sure to keep his eyes on Tyler Bate almost daring him to come to break the hold. Bate though nods as he looks at Seven who nods before breaking out of the hold and SENDS CESARO BACK BEFORE MAKING THE TAG TO BRING BATE BACK INTO THE MATCH!

Bate flies into the ring as Cesaro gets tagged out by Ilja who runs at Bate who ducks underneath his lariat attempt and CLOTHESLINES CESARO OUT OF THE RING! He turns back around as Ilja charges at him but Tyler counters with an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Cheers from the crowd as Ilja gets back to his feet as Bate goes for a gut punch and Ilja blocks it… BATE FAKED HIM OUT AND CATCHES HIM IN THE JAW! Ilja falls to the mat as Bate turns around and catches a charging Cesaro with a SPINEBUSTER!

Cesaro is once again being shown up by the young superstar who smiles at the crowd and has an idea! He grabs the legs of Cesaro and TEASES GOING FOR THE CESARO SWING… ILJA CLOBBERS HIM FROM BEHIND! Loud boos from the crowd as the Mad Russian lays into Bate with a series of clubbing blows. The crowd is not happy about Ilja stopping Bate from once again showing off his insane strength before Irish whips him into the corner and charges in HITTING A HESITATION DROPKICK! Ilja brings him out of the corner 1 2 Bate kicks out!

Ilja looks to carry on his attack as he starts laying into Bate with a few hard elbows to the chest whilst locking him in a headlock on the mat but Bate clocks him in the jaw and the Russian falls backward! Bate gets back to his feet and starts meeting Ilja with a series of hard chops sending him backward before lifting him in a VERTICAL SUPLEX POSITION MID-AIR! He keeps hold of Ilja in the air as Cesaro tries to stop him… BUT TRENT TAKES CARE OF THE SWISS SUPERMAN AND BATE TRANSITIONS INTO A POWERBOMB PLANTING ILJA! He hooks the leg 1 2 Ilja kicks out!

Bate is getting massive cheers from the crowd as he sees Seven asking for the tag so he sends Dragunov into the corner with a wicked Irish whip before tagging Trent back in! Trent and Bate both grab hold of Ilja lifting him up before slamming him down with a DOUBLE SUPLEX! Trent then makes the cover 1 2 Ilja kicks out once again! Trent grabs Ilja off the mat and works over him before dragging him back over the corner as Cesaro climbs onto the ring apron!

Cesaro is not happy to see his partner strongly and now it is his turn to watch as Bate tags back in. The commentary team put over the two teams are doing similar strategies and isolating one man to wear them down. Trent meanwhile lifts up Ilja into a powerbomb position before Bate dives off the top HITTING A NECKBREAKER! Trent plays defense as Bate makes the cover 1 2 Ilja kicks out again! Cesaro came close to stepping into the ring but steps back onto the apron trusting his partner whilst Seven does the same.

Ilja is starting to struggle as Mustache Mountain takes full control of the match and Tyler keeps the pressure up on Ilja. He lifts him back up off the mat but ILJA SLIPS OUT AND HITS HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Bate lands with a huge thud closer to the Ungovernables corner as Ilja charges in looking to hit a LARIAT BUT BATE DUCKS… CESARO BLIND TAGS INTO THE MATCH! Ilja charges at Bate who takes him down with a ROLLING WHEEL KICK! However, before he can react CESARO CLOBBERS HIM WITH A NORTHERN LARIAT!

Ilja rolls out of the ring as Cesaro goes on the attack lifting up Bate and slamming him down to the mat with a hard BODY SLAM! Cesaro looks to do more damage but the Swiss Superman counters an attempt to do damage to him by Trent and sends him out of the ring with a hard thud! He turns back around as Bate lays into him with a few hard chops but Cesaro grabs his wrist stopping him and SMASHES HIM WITH A SERIES OF UPPERCUTS AS HE LAYS INTO THE PRODIGY!

Bate is struggling as Cesaro slams him down to the mat again this time with a SUPLEX before looking to work over him as he locks in a BOSTON CRAB working over the mid-section and the legs of Bate on the mat! Bate is trapped in the hold and tries to escape out of it by crawling to the ropes but Cesaro pushes down on the back of Bate stopping him from making it to the ropes! Trent tries to save his tag team partner from the hold BUT ILJA TAKES HIM OUT WITH A DIVING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Seven rolls out of the ring and Bate knows he has to do it by himself!

He looks to crawl to the ropes again but realizes he wouldn’t make it to the ropes and instead presses down on the mat! He grits his teeth as he pushes down and eventually overpowers Cesaro TO BREAK THE HOLD! Cesaro falls back onto the ropes as Bate gets back to his feet and first looks to the corner but Seven is still down! Bate charges at Cesaro and connects with a EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He rocks Cesaro a few times before slowly lifting him into the air… DEADLIFT POWERBOMB! Bate makes the cover 1 2 Cesaro kicks out!

Bate winces in pain as he sees Ilja Dragunov trying to come back into the ring and KNOCKS HIM OFF THE APRON WITH A FOREARM TO THE HEAD! Ilja lands with a thud to the ring floor before turning back to Cesaro and gets ROLLED UP AS HE TRIES TO GRAB CESARO! 1 2 Bate kicks out! The technical skill of Cesaro nearly won him the match here! Bate gets back to his feet and tries to go after Cesaro but the Swiss Superman counters hitting a REVERSE POWERBOMB SNAKE EYES IN THE UNGOVERNABLES CORNER!

Bate stumbles in the corner as Cesaro clobbers him with a CLOTHESLINE IN THE CORNER! He doesn’t stop there hammering him with a series of clotheslines before making the tag to Ilja on the ring apron bringing the Mad Russian back into the ring! Cesaro picks Tyler Bate up and SLAMS HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Cesaro walks over to Tyler and taunts the crowd before STARTING UP THE CESARO SWING! Loud cheers from the crowd as ILJA HITS TORPEDO MOSCOW! Cesaro poses as Ilja makes the cover

Trent saves the match-up for his team! He grabs hold of Cesaro and sends him out of the ring before turning around into a DROPKICK FROM ILJA SENDING HIM OUT OF THE RING! Ilja turns back to Bate seeing him still struggling on the mat and smirks wildly. Ilja heads over to Tyler Bate looking to lift him into the air ready for a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER… BATE COUNTERS WITH A NECKBREAKER! Bate plants Ilja before using the ropes to get him back to his feet and lifts Dragunov up off the mat hitting TYLER DRIVER 97! Bate makes the cover

CESARO BREAKS THE COVER!​

Cesaro saves the match for his team and HURLS BATE INTO THE CORNER SHOULDER FIRST CAUSING BATE TO WINCE IN PAIN! He stumbles back and falls down in the corner as Cesaro checks on Ilja who is still struggling so he DRAGS HIS TAG TEAM PARTNER TO THE CORNER AND TAGS IN! Cesaro heads back to the center of the ring and looks to lift Tyler Bate into the air ready for the RICOLA BOMB… BATE COUNTERS WITH A FACEBUSTER PLANTING CESARO TO THE MAT!

Bate gets loud cheers from the crowd as he refuses to give in during this match! Bate winces in pain having taken a bunch of damage during this match but he wants to bring home the tag team titles for his team. He looks at Cesaro and smiles as if he has a big idea! He grabs the legs as the crowd starts to go wild… BATE IS HITTING CESARO WITH HIS OWN CESARO SWING! He spins Cesaro around the ring getting an insane pop from the live crowd as he keeps Cesaro in it for a good 20 seconds before finally dropping him!

Cesaro falls to the mat as the crowd are super behind Tyler who nods to the crowd and lines Cesaro up ready to dive off the top rope… ILJA GRABS HIS FOOT AND TRIES TO TO STOP HIM! Tyler tries to kick away the Mad Russian but TRENT SEVEN GRABS ILJA AND THROWS HIM INTO THE BARRICADE STOPPING HIM! Tyler turns his attention back to Cesaro and flies off the top rope hitting a CORKSCREW SENTON BOMB! Tyler makes the cover

Bate looks shocked he was unable to put away Cesaro but refocuses on the task at hand as Trent Seven climbs back onto the ring apron reaching out for the tag and Bate makes it! Cheers from the crowd as Mustache Mountain surround Cesaro and lay into him with a series of dual chops before Bate dives over the top rope to wipe out Ilja outside the ring with a SUICIDE DIVE! Trent meanwhile lifts Cesaro up off the mat and goes for the SEVEN STAR LARIAT… CESARO AVOIDS IT BREAKING FREE AND FALLS TO THE MAT HANGING ON THE ROPES!

Trent looks to go after Cesaro but the Swiss Superman trips him up placing him onto the middle rope! Cesaro runs off the ropes and connects with a SWISS-1-9! He sends Trent falling back to the middle of the ring before seeing Tyler Bate outside the ring and HITS A DIVING UPPERCUT FROM THE RING APRON! Cheers from the crowd even if it did come from Cesaro before he lifts Bate up and HITS HIM WITH SWISS DEATH OUTSIDE THE RING KNOCKING HIM OUT FOR THE MOMENT! Seven falls away from Cesaro as Ilja checks on his tag team partner who nods ready to end this match once and for all! Winners via pinfall and still World tag team champions: The Ungovernables (17:35)​

A mixed reaction from the crowd but the majority of them still boo the Ungoverables even after a clean victory tonight over Mustache Mountain. There was some tension teased between Cesaro and Ilja before the bell but both men share a hug after their win and lift their tag team titles into the air!

Michael Cole: The Ungovernables win and all the gold remains in their grasp!

Elias: Mustache Mountain pushed them to the limit and were this close to walking away as champions.

Cesaro and Ilja head up the entrance ramp carrying on their celebrations whilst in the Mustache Mountain share nod and a hug disappointed to have come up short tonight but they get a positive reaction from the live crowd.

Elias: Well the issues between the Ungoverables didn’t make an impact but maybe Cesaro knows that he might not have to even speak to Andrade after tonight.

Michael Cole: That’s right because Andrade faces an angry Beast Incarnate in our semi-main event with a shot at the Universal title at Summerslam on the line! Let’s see how we got here!

We cut to a video package running over Andrade Cien Almas first having to face Brock Lesnar with the Universal title on the line and using the Ungovernables to screw him out of the title. We next see both of them losing to Aleister Black via Black Mass in the three-way dance at Wrestlemania. After the next thing we see is Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman’s promo on the Raw after Wrestlemania with the Ungovernables all attacking Brock and powerbombing him off the stage to write him off for a month.

Next, we see Paul Heyman talking about what happens when you piss the beast off and the path of destruction he has laid through the years. We even see him destroying Dominik Dijakovic before Wrestlemania and his previous wins over the likes of Lashley, Cena, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles before we get the final promos before this PPV as Paul promises Andrade will learn who really runs Monday Night Raw.

Loud boos from the crowd as ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS walks out to the ring and is joined by ZELINA VEGA! Andrade has a slight smirk and has a few words with the co-leader of the Ungovernables before heading down the ramp ahead of the semi-main event.

Michael Cole: Andrade Cien Almas was able to reign as Universal Champion for over six months by hook or by crook.

Elias: A lot of the time Andrade used the numbers game to his advantage but he can’t do that tonight.

Michael Cole: The Ungovernables are banned from ringside for this match. Andrade will have to find a way to defeat Brock Lesnar by himself.

Elias: A feat that very few have managed to do.

*NEXT BIG THING*​

A massive pop from the live crowd as BROCK LESNAR walks out onto the entrance ramp with a sadistic smirk on his face and he is joined by his advocate PAUL HEYMAN! Brock after doing a little jog, wastes little time before heading down the entrance ramp!

Michael Cole: Brock Lesnar has not held either the WWE or Universal since losing to Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania thirty-five!

Elias: We rarely see Brock Lesnar without gold around his waist.

Michael Cole: Brock will be looking to get to Summerslam so he can correct that!

Elias: I mean either of the men in our main event, Drew McIntyre or Sheamus will be up for that fight for sure.

Brock Lesnar gets to the bottom of the entrance ramp as he smirks climbing onto the ring apron but ANDRADE BOOTS HIM OFF IT WITH A DROPKICK TO THE MID-SECTION! Brock falls to the ring floor before getting back to his feet as ANDRADE HITS A SUCIDCE TOPE THROUGH THE ROPES HITTING THE MID-SECTION OF BROCK LIKE A BULLET!

Michael Cole: Andrade cheap-shotting Brock Lesnar before the bell!

Elias: Andrade is willing to do whatever it takes to become the head of Monday Night Raw once again!

Andrade isn’t done there as he climbs onto the ring apron and dives off STOMPING ON THE MID-SECTION OF BROCK LESNAR! Brock's stomach is a weakness even to this day due to the diverticulitis he suffered back in his UFC days. Andrade though isn’t looking to stop there as he heads to the ring apron and PULLS OUT A STEEL CHAIR! Loud boos from the crowd as the commentary team reminds us that the bell is yet to ring so this is all legal. Andrade goes to SMASH BROCK WITH IT…

PAUL HEYMAN STEALS THE CHAIR FROM HIM! The advocate of Brock Lesnar stopping Andrade from trying to take Brock out before the match even begins. Andrade looks furious as he stands over Paul Heyman but this gives BROCK TIME TO GET UP AND CLOBBER ANDRADE FROM BEHIND! A massive pop from the fans as Brock grabs hold of Andrade and rolls him into the ring. Brock climbs over the ropes joining him inside as the referee calls for the bell to officially get this match underway!

Number contender’s match for the WWE title at Summerslam:
Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs Andrade Cien Almas w/Zelina Vega​

Brock wastes no time as he grabs hold of Andrade and takes him to SUPLEX CITY! He slams Andrade down with several German suplexes as Andrade is getting battered right from the bell so far! After the fourth suplex Andrade tries to roll out of the ring to get some breathing room BUT BROCK GRABS HIS LEG SMIRKING AS HE DRAGS HIM BACK INTO THE RING! Brock then climbs on top of Andrade and lays into him with a series of punches to the head!

Brock wails on Andrade as Zelina Vega looks worried for her client who is getting a beating at the hands of the Beast! He finishes punching him on the mat and HURLS HIM INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! Andrade’s back bounces off the turnbuckles in the corner of the ring as BROCK CHARGES IN CRUSHING HIM IN THE CORNER WITH A SERIES OF SHOULDER BLOCKS! Andrade is getting crushed in the corner as the referee warns Brock who backs away on the count of 4… BEFORE HITTING A WICKED CLOTHESLINE!

Andrade falls in the corner and is on the ropes already with Brock crushing him with ease. Brock grabs hold of Andrade and looks to lift him onto his shoulders for the F5… ANDRADE RAKES HIS EYES! Utter desperation getting loud boos from the live crowd but Andrade only cares about surviving the pasting he is getting in the early stages. Brock falls back as Andrade runs off the ropes and hits a DROPKICK TO THE MID-SECTION! Brock falls to the mat clutching his mid-section before Andrade climbs to the top rope and hits a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! Andrade makes the cover 1 BROCK POWERS OUT!

Andrade looks shocked that Brock was able to kick out so easily. He tries to run off the ropes again but BROCK WIPES HIM OUT WITH A WICKED LARIAT! Andrade does a full spin in mid-air landing on the mat with a hard thud! Brock picks him up off the mat and GERMAN SUPLEXES HIM AGAIN! A fifth suplex in this match as Andrade rolls out of the ring and falls to the ring floor in pain. Brock however smirks and rolls out of the ring looking to do even more damage to Andrade!

Brock slowly walks over to Andrade outside the ring and grins with a wicked smile, he is having fun toying with Andrade and destroying him in this match! Andrade tries to get back to his feet but Brock clobbers him from behind and knocks him to the floor! Brock grabs hold of Andrade and SENDS HIM INTO THE BARRICADE! Andrade’s back bounces off it as Brock smirks and asks Andrade where his buddies are? Brock grabs Andrade and POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO THE BARRICADE!

Andrade screams in pain as Brock sadistically laughs at Andrade with Vega looking very concerned for her client. In the ring the referee gets to a 5 count as Brock wisely slides into the ring and slides out, wanting to keep the fun going. Andrade is still trying to crawl away from Brock but the Beast grabs him and looks to lift him in the air… ANDRADE DESPERATELY USING THE ROPES HITS A TORNADO DDT SENDING BROCK HEAD-FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS! A hard thud as Andrade falls to the floor next to him and even Heyman looks worried! Andrade slides into the ring as the referee is on a 3 count and he is happy to go for the countout win!

Andrade though immediately pounces on him and hits him with a series of stomps, frantically going after the Beast! Andrade is putting his full force into it before running off the ropes and connects with a DROPKICK SENDING BROCK INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! Brock’s back bounces off the turnbuckles as he slumps in the corner! Andrade heads to the opposite corner as he lines up Brock before hitting SEEING SHADOWS! He smashes his knees into the face of Brock but shakes his head before heading back and HITTING IT AGAIN! Andrade drags Brock out of the corner before making the cover

Andrade punches the mat angry that Brock was able to kick out but he stays focused as he heads to the top rope lining up Brock for a MOONSAULT! Andrade dives off the top rope… BROCK ROLLS AWAY… ANDRADE LANDS ON HIS FEET AND HITS A STANDING MOONSAULT! Andrade makes the cover 1 2 Brock kicks out! Andrade looks angry that Brock dares to keep kicking out but looks to drag him off the mat for the HAMMERLOCK DDT… BROCK PUSHES HIM OFF INTO THE ROPES… ANDRADE TRIES TO SPRINGBOARD BACK… BROCK CATCHES HIM AND SUPLEX TOSSES HIM ACROSS THE RING!

Andrade lands with a thud as an angry Brock gets back to his feet and clobbers Andrade who is sent crashing back down to the mat! Brock picks up Andrade looking for the F5… ANDRADE GRABS HOLD OF THE ROPES BLOCKING THE MOVE SO BROCK THROWS ANDRADE UP INTO THE AIR AND KNEES HIM IN THE RIBS! Andrade lets go of the ropes and falls away clutching his mid-section as Brock stands over Andrade and calls him stupid before scooping him up and connecting with a GERMAN SUPLEX SLAMMING ANDRADE DOWN!

Andrade winces in pain in the middle of the ring having been taken to Suplex City in this match. Brock isn’t done hurting Andrade as he grabs Andrade's right arm and LOCKS HIM IN A KIMURA! Brock yanks back on the right arm and tries to snap it! Andrade screams in pain as he tries to find a way out! Brock has it on tight as Andrade moves his body trying to make sure Brock can’t twist it enough to break his arm… GETTING HIS FEET ON THE ROPES! Brock holds on till the count of 4 before breaking the hold!

Andrade is in a ton of pain and clutches his right arm as Brock tries to lift him up for another suplex… BUT ANDRADE CLINGS ONTO THE ROPES FOR DEAR LIFE! He holds on as the referee warns Brock but the Beast shouts at him to back off! Brock goes back after Andrade who has snuck onto the ring apron and hits a SPRINGBOARD TWISTING CROSSBODY! Andrade stays on for the cover 1 BROCK POWERS HIM OFF SENDING HIM BACK!

Andrade falls back into the ropes and looks terrified unsure how he is going to put the Beast away! Andrade tries to charge in looking for a running double knees… BUT BROCK CATCHES HIM AND POWERBOMBS HIM TO THE MAT! Andrade winces in pain as Brock looks to do more damage but Heyman outside tells Brock to finish the job! Brock shouts to Heyman he is no fun but listens to the advice of his advocate as he scoops Andrade up onto his shoulder looking for the F5… ANDRADE COUNTERS WITH LA SOMBRA! Out of nowhere, Andrade stuns the Beast and he slowly crawls over onto him to make the cover

Andrade slams the mat in anger that Brock will not stay down! He looks to Zelina who advises him to finish him off however he can. Andrade nods and grabs Brock punching him a few times before looking for LA SOMBRA AGAIN… BROCK SCOOPS HIM UP AND FLATTENS HIM WITH A WICKED F5! Brock makes the cover

ZELINA PUTS ANDRADE’S FOOT ON THE ROPE!​

The referee goes to count the 3 but sees the foot on the rope! Outside the ring, we can hear Paul Heyman shouting that Zelina put it there. This prompts Brock to get angry and confront the referee who tells him he can’t call what he can’t see! Brock doesn’t calm down and the referee is cowering as… ZELINA PASSES ANDRADE WHAT LOOKS LIKE A LOADED PURSE! Andrade grabs hold of it and looks to smash Brock with it… BUT THE BEAST DUCKS AND ANDRADE HITS THE REFEREE BY MISTAKE! Andrade drops the loaded weapon as Brock scoops Andrade up and HITS THE F5 AGAIN… BUT THERE IS NO REFEREE TO COUNT THE COVER!

Brock looks angry as he tries to wake the referee up but they are out from the belt shot. Zelina though out of view of Paul Heyman can be seen texting someone! Brock gives up trying to wake the referee and tosses them down to the mat as he goes back over to Andrade and flips over his lifeless body laying into him with a series of elbows! If he can’t win the match for the moment he is going to hurt Andrade! As he is battering Andrade however we can see MVP AND ISAIAH "SWERVE" STRICKLAND walk down the entrance ramp?!?!

Zelina at ringside smirks as Paul Heyman asks what these 3 men are doing and MVP PUNCHES HEYMAN KNOCKING HIM DOWN! Heyman falls to the floor as Brock stops pummelling Andrade to confront the members of the Hurt Business standing outside the ring. He sees Heyman down on the mat and dares them to try that on him. Both men are dressed in crisp suits but they head to a section of the ring apron each ready to attack Brock… WHEN A MAN IN A HOODIE SLIDES INTO THE RING BEHIND BROCK!

IT’S SAMOA JOE!​

Samoa Joe stands behind Brock scowling BEFORE LOCKING HIM IN THE COQUINA CLUTCH! Samoa Joe starts to choke the life out of Brock who tries to escape from the lethal choke but Joe has it locked on tighter than he has ever had it locked in during his life! The Hurt Business watches on as the light fades from Brock’s eyes and The Beast passes out! Joe tosses the lifeless body of Brock down onto the mat before smirking as he leaves the ring… SHAKING HANDS WITH MVP! Samoa Joe has joined the Hurt Business!

MVP walks over to Zelina who pulls a bunch of cash out of her cleavage and promises to give MVP the rest later. The leader of the Hurt Business walks off to a shower of boos with Isiah “Swerve” Stickland and Samoa Joe following him to the back whilst back in the ring ANDRADE STARTS TO COME TO WITH BROCK DOWN! He looks confused until Zelina Vega nods at him and they both smile! Andrade scoops up Brock as the referee just now comes to… LA SOMBRA TO THE MAT! Andrade makes the cover

The boos get even louder as Andrade gets to his feet and even though he took a beating during this match, he has escaped with the WWE title shot at Summerslam! Zelina Vega joins him in the ring and the mastermind smirks having helped her client secure victory.

Elias: I said it before this match began. By hook or by crook Andrade Cien Almas finds a way to win!

Michael Cole: But who could have seen this coming? The Hurt Business costing Brock Lesnar the match.

Elias: And with their newest member Samoa Joe!

Michael Cole: MVP promised the New Day earlier tonight they would see the benefits of joining the Hurt Business. But what is in this for Samoa Joe?

Elias: We will have to find out tomorrow night but right now we are about to have our main event for the evening!

Michael Cole: That’s right Elias. Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE title against one of his closest friends: Sheamus! Let’s see how we made it to this point!

We hear both men and Wade Barrett talk about their friendship over the years with praise for one another. We then see clips of the WWE title contract signing as we cut back to the ring for the main event of the evening!

WADE BARRETT makes his way out to the top of the entrance ramp in a crisp suit and a smug look on his face. He plays to the fans who cheer for the Raw commissioner as he heads towards the commentary desk and takes a seat on commentary with Michael Cole and Elias.

Michael Cole: Well it looks like we will be joined by the Raw commissioner Wade Barrett for our main event.

Elias: Wade what brings you to ringside for this match?

Wade Barrett: These two men I’ve thought with for years to make it to this point. I wanted to see it up close and make sure there are no more Hurt Business or Ungovernables shenanigans.

*WRITTEN IN MY FACE*​

A loud pop from the live crowd as SHEAMUS walks out to the top of the entrance ramp. He sticks his arms out shouting fella in signature fashion before walking to the ring ready for a huge fight with one of his closest friends.

Michael Cole: Sheamus is a former four-time world champion and has achieved nearly everything there is to do in WWE.

Wade Barrett: But you always want more success. You never want to be someone who lives off past glories.

Elias: Well he loves a fight and he is going to get one tonight!

*BROKEN DREAMS*​

A humongous pop as DREW MCINTYRE slowly walks out onto the entrance ramp. He takes a moment to stop to lift his WWE title into the air before heading to the ring with a smile on his face. He doesn’t focus on the fans instead focusing on his close friend standing in the ring nodding and smiling.

Michael Cole: Drew McIntyre had to fight his way through the entire Corporation on Smackdown before winning the Royal Rumble and ending Roman’s reign as champion.

Wade Barrett: Watching it firsthand, was a proud moment for me and Drew earned his place as WWE Champion.

Elias: But can he overcome someone who loves to brawl and fight as much as he does?

Drew steps over the ropes and stands in the ring across from Sheamus. Both men smile as the referee raises the WWE title into the air. Once the title announcements are done and the timekeeper takes the WWE title away the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

The bell rings as both men look at each other smiling and giving each other a fist bump after the bell. Once the fist bump is given both men START TRADING PUNCHES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Wade Barrett tells us we are in for a full-on fight and he is right with both men clobbering each other with hard strikes in the middle of the ring! The two men are evenly matched in the middle of the ring as they trade blows but eventually, Drew looks to press Sheamus onto the ropes BUT SHEAMUS COUNTERS WITH A STUN GUN ONTO THE ROPES! Sheamus makes the cover 1 Drew kicks out!

A lot more is needed to put away the champion but Sheamus knew that as he goes back on the attack. He lays into Drew with a series of hard strikes to the back but Drew slowly gets back to his feet and starts firing back on Sheamus with strikes of his own! Both men are already hitting each other hard in the opening minutes and Drew gets Sheamus into the corner hitting him with a series of CLOTHESLINES! Drew looks to finish off with a hard strike but SHEAMUS CLOBBERS HIM FIGHTING OUT OF THE CORNER!

Drew stumbles back as Sheamus charges in and hits a SHOULDERBLOCK knocking over Drew! Sheamus looks to go for another cover 1 Drew powers out! Sheamus looks to grab hold of Drew to slow the champion down… DREW LAYS IN AN ELBOW TO THE JAW OF SHEAMUS! Sheamus stumbles back as Drew peppers him with a series of strikes before slamming him down with a BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Drew makes the cover 1 Sheamus kicks out!

Both men still with a lot left in them as Drew grabs hold of Sheamus laying into him with a few strikes before sending him off the ropes as he looks for a CLOTHESLINE ON THE WAY BACK… BUT SHEAMUS AVOIDS IT AND LEAPS INTO THE AIR WITH A SHOULDER BLOCK! Drew falls backward as Sheamus grabs hold of him and picks him up off the mat hitting him with a PENDULUM BACKBREAKER ONTO HIS KNEE!

Sheamus makes the cover 1 Drew powers out! Sheamus looks to work over the back of Drew as he gives him a few strikes to the back before lifting him up and BACK BODY DROPPING HIM! Sheamus makes another cover 1 Drew powers out again! Sheamus smirks shaking his head as he looks to keep up the attack grabbing Drew once again but the Scot pushes him off sending him into the ring ropes before DREW SMASHES HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE!

Sheamus falls to the mat but Drew soon scoops him up looking to slam him down with an ALABAMA SLAM! Drew makes the cover 1 Sheamus kicks out! Sheamus is still fighting in this match but Drew grabs hold of him and lays into him with a series of clubbing blows to the chest! Sheamus fights through the pain as he grabs the wrist of Drew but the champ responds with an ARM DRAG BRINGING HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A SLAM!

Sheamus stumbles back to his feet before getting clobbered from behind with a wicked NORTHERN LARIAT as Drew rolls him over and makes the cover 1 Sheamus kicks out! Drew at this point grabs hold of him and looks to lock him in a BOW AND ARROW STRETCH! He wrenches on the back of Sheamus and causing him a bunch of pain as the Celtic Warrior looks to get out of the hold but once he looks to escape. Drew however, transitions into a BACKBREAKER ON HIS KNEE BEFORE MAKING ANOTHER COVER! 1 Sheamus kicks out!

Sheamus winces in pain due to his back whilst Drew rubs his jaw as the opening 5 minutes have led to these two beating the hell out of each other! Drew goes back on the attack and grabs hold of Sheamus but he gets clobbered by the Celtic Warrior sending him back! Sheamus runs through him with a RUNNING DOUBLE AXE HANDLE slamming him down to the mat before laying in a series of REPEATED KNEE DROPS TO THE HEAD OF DREW MCINTYRE! Sheamus follows up with a cover 1 Drew kicks out!

Wade Barrett on commentary puts over how tough both of these men are and that it will take a lot from the other to put them down as they love fighting too much! Sheamus grabs hold of Drew and now hits him with a series of clubbing blows as both men are starting to get red chests the longer this battle goes on between the two men! He grabs hold of Drew and this time looks to plant his skull down to the mat with a DDT! Sheamus makes the cover 1 Drew kicks out again!

Sheamus grabs Drew on the mat and grabs him by the head keeping up his assault on Drew and he even gives his friend a bit of trash talk not wanting to hurt him too much… DREW RESPONDS BY CLOCKING HIM IN THE JAW! Sheamus stumbles back towards the ropes as Drew looks to send him over with a CLOTHESLINE… SHEAMUS PULLS THE ROPES SENDING DREW OVER THEM BUT HE HOLDS ON! Sheamus smirks though because he has Drew right where he wants him and STARTS UP THE BEATS OF BODHRAN!

Sheamus is clubbing away on the chest of his friend getting well past the 10 count before letting go of the hold and Drew drops to the ring floor! Sheamus however knows he can’t win the WWE title via countout and follows Drew to the outside of the ring! Sheamus clobbers Drew from behind as he looks to send him into the barricade with an Irish whip… BUT DREW COUNTERS SENDING HIM INTO IT INSTEAD! Sheamus’s back bounces off the barricade with a thud as Drew takes a moment to recover.

Drew then rolls in and out of the ring breaking the referee’s count, he won’t want to keep his WWE title via countout. He goes over to Sheamus and lays into him with a series of punches on the barricade before grabbing hold of Sheamus AND HITTING A SPINEBUSTER ONTO THE BARRICADE SMASHING THE BACK OF THE CELTIC WARRIOR! Sheamus winces in pain from the move as Drew looks to do further pain BUT SHEAMUS COUNTERS WITH A STUN GUN ONTO THE BARRICADE!

The referee gets to a 5 count but we see Wade Barrett stand up on commentary and tells the referee he will not allow this match to end on a countout! The referee not wanting to piss off his boss stops the count as Wade returns to his seat on commentary advising that he wants the best man to win and not have a screwy finish to this PPV. Back on the outside of the ring, Sheamus is laying into Drew with a few hard forearms before he grabs hold of Drew looking to drop him onto the barricade… BUT DREW ENDS UP FIGHTING AND SENDS THEM OVER THE BARRICADE INTO THE CROWD!

Both men land on the hard floor in front of the fans with a hard thud and start to brawl in front of them carrying on their fight! The referee follows after the pair and the commentary confirms once again per Wade’s ruling this is now a no-countouts match! As they fight through the crowd both men are evenly matched getting loud cheers from the crowd before ending up by the entrance ramp as Drew grabs Sheamus IRISH WHIPS INTO THE LED BOARD AT THE TOP OF RAMP! Sheamus turns around as DREW GOES FOR A CLAYMORE… SHEAMUS AVOIDS IT AND DREW BOOTS THE LED BOARD INSTEAD!

Drew winces in pain clutching his right leg and this could be the turning point of the match! Sheamus does stop for a moment having concern for his friend but he remembers what this is all about as he grabs hold of him and HITS A FLATLINER ONTO THE LED BOARD! Drew falls back down on the entrance ramp selling the damage done as Sheamus grabs hold of him and Irish whips him down the entrance ramp causing Drew to roll towards the ring in pain and lands with a hard thud as he clutches his right leg.

Sheamus follows after Drew and gives him a few hard shots before looking to lift him back up but DREW COUNTERS AND IRISH WHIPS HIM INTO THE STEEL DISLODGING THEM! A hard throw from Drew as Sheamus's back slides down one-half of the steps. Drew limps slightly as he makes his way towards Sheamus and lays in with several shots to the head… BUT THE CELTIC WARRIOR COUNTERS WITH A BACKBODY DROP ONTO THE STEEL STEPS BEHIND HIM!

Drew’s back comes flying off the steps as he rolls on the ring floor in pain and Sheamus doesn’t smile shaking his head, knowing he needs to pull out all the stops to defeat his friend tonight. Wade also comments that he had spoken to both men and they made it clear they would hold nothing back because the other man wouldn’t accept it. Sheamus makes his way back over to Drew and starts to club him in the back… BUT DREW FIGHTS BACK BEFORE HITTING A MASSIVE OVERHEAD BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX SENDING SHEAMUS TOWARD THE TIMEKEEPER’S AREA!

Sheamus leans on the barricade wall and DREW CHARGES AT HIM SENDING BOTH MEN THROUGH THE BARRICADE WALL BREAKING IT! Both men lay in the rubble as a “HOLY SHIT” chant starts up from the live crowd. The commentary team once again hype up how much being WWE Champion and winning this match would mean to both men. Drew gets to his feet first as he grabs Sheamus and drags him back to the ring before rolling him inside and making the cover 1 2 Sheamus kicks out!

The fight carries on as Drew shakes his head and looks to lift the body of Sheamus off the mat and gets him in position for the FUTURESHOCK DDT… SHEAMUS COUNTERS AND PUSHES HIM INTO THE TURNBUCKLES TO BREAK HIS GRIP! Drew winces in pain after the damage done to his back as Sheamus looks to go for a KNEE LIFT IN THE CORNER… DREW MOVES OUT OF THE WAY CAUSING SHEAMUS TO HURT HIS KNEE COLLIDING WITH THE TURNBUCKLE!

Sheamus also gets caught in the turnbuckle and DREW USES THIS TO CONNECT WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX SLAMMING DOWN SHEAMUS! Drew makes the cover 1 2 Sheamus kicks out! Drew is in control of the match and he looks to keep the pressure up as he lifts Sheamus up and LOCKS HIM IN THE IRON MAIDEN (Chicken-wing over-the-shoulder crossface)! He wrenches back on Sheamus as he tries to get his friend to tap out!

Sheamus is in a kneeling position as well putting some pressure on his knee too making it harder for him to break out of the hold! Sheamus isn’t keen on the idea of tapping out and fights through the pain eventually getting Drew up and he transitions him onto his back as he lifts Drew into the air before PLANTING HIM WITH A WHITE NOISE! He slams Drew down and takes a moment before making the cover

Drew kicks out!​

Sheamus winces in pain after having been in the Iron Maiden and limps slightly as he stands back up giving Drew a series of punches to the head laying into the champion. Drew starts trying to fight back but Sheamus grabs hold of him and hits him with a SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Sheamus makes another 1 2 Drew kicks out! Sheamus slams him down but looks to keep the pressure up as he flips Drew over and then locks him in a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!

Sheamus is pressing down on Drew and tries to force him to tap out here! The champion is in a ton of pain as he reaches out for the ropes but they are quite far away! He is in a ton of pain on the mat as Sheamus looks to force Drew to give up and hand the title to Sheamus! The Scot though crawls to the ropes as best he can with Sheamus doing one final pullback on the hold… BUT DREW REACHES THE ROPES TO BREAK THE HOLD!

Sheamus immediately realizes the hold and backs away, showing good sportsmanship toward his friend as Drew rests on the ropes wincing in pain. Sheamus is slightly limping meanwhile after the damage he has done to his own leg before daring Drew to come closer to him as he wants a fight. Drew rises to his feet and struggles at first due to his own damage to his leg but he meets his friend in the middle of the ring as the crowd goes wild and the two men start EXCHANGING CHOPS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!

Both men go at one another hammer and tongs as they try to knock one another out cold and win this match! The crowd is cheering for both men as the chops are turning their chests red! Drew starts to win out the brawl as he sends Sheamus into the ropes… SO SHEAMUS STARTS FIRING BACK WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES! He overwhelms Drew sending him back… UNTIL DREW HITS THE GLASGOW KISS ROCKING SHEAMUS! Sheamus stumbles for a moment before HITTING ONE OF HIS OWN SENDING BOTH MEN TO THE MAT!

Both men are down for the count as the referee starts to count getting to 5 before both men slowly get back to their feet using the ropes to help steady themselves. They then charge at each other… DREW MCINTYRE HITS THE CLAYMORE AND SHEAMUS HITS THE BROGUE KICK AT THE SAME TIME! Both men fall to the mat next to each other once again as these two men are evenly matched. The referee starts the count again…

The crowd goes wild and even starts up their own “FIGHT FOREVER” chant as both men are struggling to stand up but still have fight in them as they stumble to the middle of the ring. Both men lay into each other with a few punches once again getting cheers from the crowd as they swing with all the energy they have left. As they battle Sheamus once again tries to take control of the brawl early into it going for another GLASGOW KISS… BUT DREW COUNTERS INTO A FUTURESHOCK DDT! Drew makes the cover

SHEAMUS KICKS OUT!​

Drew pounds the mat in anger that he still hasn’t been able to put his close friend away as the match approaches the 20-minute mark. Drew gets to his feet and lays in a few punches to the head of Sheamus who is still feeling the effect of this match and the futureshock DDT. He grabs hold of Sheamus lifting him up as he places him onto his shoulders and plants Sheamus with WASTELAND! One of the signature moves of Wade Barrett who comments on it, proud Drew thinks it will get the job done tonight as the champ makes the cover

SHEAMUS KICKS OUT!​

Drew nods to himself as he sighs before heading to the corner of the ring and sizes up his friend ready to end this. He gets the crowd to count along as he lines up Sheamus 1 2 3 CLAY… SHEAMUS MOVES OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME! Drew lands on the mat as Sheamus leans on the ropes before sighing to himself. He grabs hold of Drew as he gets back up before hitting him with the IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER! He drops Drew to the mat before taking a moment to catch his breath, still feeling the impact of Drew’s assault.

Drew once again grabs his right leg which is in pain whilst Sheamus thinks about how he can end this and become a 5-time World champion! He grabs hold of Drew and lays into him with a series of hard strikes keeping him down. Sheamus reigns down a series of clubbing blows as he looks to put him away before hoisting him over his shoulders and onto his back! He lifts him high up… BEFORE HITTING DREW MCINTYRE WITH THE CELTIC CROSS! Sheamus has to take a moment wincing due to his leg before making the cover

DREW MCINTYRE KICKS OUT!​

Sheamus is now the one pounding the mat and frustrated he can’t defeat Drew here tonight! He looks over to the corner of the ring and even looks at the timekeeper’s area but shakes his head! Sheamus wants to win the right way! He lines Drew up and starts to beat his chest getting ready to go for the BROUGE KICK! He waits for Drew to slowly stumble to his feet before charging in… DREW COLLAPSES UNDER THE BROUGE KICK AVOIDING THE LETHAL KICK!

The commentary team wonders if that was luck or a great dodge on the part of Drew but either way, it keeps him alive in this match. Sheamus looks to go back on the attack dragging Drew’s body up off the mat and STARTS TO CLOBBER THE CHEST OF DREW WITH A SERIES OF HARD STRIKES! Blow after blow to the chest of the champion, inflicting as much pain as possible on the WWE Champion! He then looks to transition into another CLOVERLEAF… BUT DREW FIGHTS HIM OFF SENDING HIM BACK!

Drew starts laying into Sheamus with a series of strikes but Sheamus clobbers him back as they try to fight for control in the middle of the ring, once again slugging it out! Both men are on the edge and know it could take one more shot to bring this match to an end. Sheamus wins out of the brawl it seems until GLASGOW KISS FROM DREW! Sheamus is staggered but fires back with ANOTHER ONE OF HIS OWN! He connects with a HIGH KNEE ROCKING DREW WHO HITS THE ROPES… BUT SHEAMUS WINCES IN PAIN DUE TO THE DAMAGE EARLIER… AND DREW CONNECTS WITH A CLAYMORE ON THE REBOUND! Drew rolls over onto Sheamus and makes the cover

DREW RETAINS HIS WWE TITLE!

Winner via pinfall and still WWE Champion: Drew McIntyre (22:52)​

Drew rolls off of Sheamus after the bell and lies next to his friend as the live crowd goes wild for both men. The referee checks on both men as Drew winces but gets back to his feet as the referee passes him the WWE title which he raises to the delight of the live crowd.

Michael Cole: Drew McIntyre has done it! He has defeated his close friend Sheamus and remains WWE Champion!

Wade Barrett: I am proud of what these two men did in that ring just now. They left everything in the ring and showed the world why they got to this point!

Elias: But are they still friends after the beating they gave one another tonight?

In the ring, Sheamus gets back to his feet as he looks at Drew who is holding his WWE title in the air. Drew takes a moment before sticking his fist out for a fist bump but Sheamus shakes his head AND HUGS HIM INSTEAD TO LOUD CHEERS FROM THE CROWD!

ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS walks out onto the entrance ramp with a big smirk and he is soon joined by the rest of THE UNGOVERNABLES on Monday Night Raw: ZELINA VEGA, CESARO, ILJA DRAGUNOV and ANGEL GARZA! Those three men have their gold in their hands and lift it into the air (Garza has to use his left hand after Dunne broke his fingers earlier tonight) as Drew McIntyre lifts his WWE title into the air as the show fades to black.

- I was expecting there to be dissension within The Ungovernables because we have seen the seeds planted for a while now but instead we get the exact opposite of that here at Armageddon

- Andrade going over Brock is an upset in of that of itself because Andrade didn't win this match cleanly over Brock like let's be real here...Brock was dominating this match the whole way through for the most part but then out of nowhere Heyman gets attacked first by The Hurt Business and then Brock gets blindsided by none other than Samoa Joe of all people. Joe joins The Hurt Business but why Samoa Joe though? I don't get this at all especially when he's done nothing but rebuff them at every turn but swerve instead he decides to join...here is hoping we get an explanation here

- Andrade becomes #1 Contender for the WWE Championship...like how many title opportunities is this man going to get in a given year? Like it is almost kind of ridiculous at this point especially when he was WWE Universal Champion and then lost it and then lost his rematch for it but then gets thrust right back to a title again really?

- I was hoping we would get Brock/McIntyre for the WWE Championship because at least with that match up it would have been a fresher match up

- But it looks like we get McIntyre/Andrade at SummerSlam in the RAW main event...either way it should be a good matchup just not one I would have gone with honestly

- I definitely see Orton/Zayn continuing into SummerSlam. Why? Because of how the match ended but also the fact that Zayn used a roll up to beat Orton...this tells me we get a rematch between these 2 at SummerSlam. Orton RKOing a referee...he's bound to get fined by RAW GM Wade Barrett. Or Orton gets suspended.

- McIntyre was never going to lose this match against Sheamus especially since this was his first title defense defending the WWE Championship on the red brand since coming over to RAW in the Draft. But Sheamus did push McIntyre to the limit here.

- I wonder if that was a heel turn from Ziggler? Considering not just the fact that he won the 6 Man Ladder Match to become #1 Contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship but how he won it...sneaking in through the back door to steal the win...and then with Garza of The Ungovernables retaining his WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Pete Dunne, I'm wondering if we get a heel vs heel program with Ziggler/Garza since the fans more or less are turning Dolph heel and Garza is already a heel

- Morrison retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods...for me this match was the show stealer for the night in all honesty but Woods I can easily see him winning singles gold in the future

- Miz showing up and leaving Morrison laying post match was to be expected...Miz has been all but obsessed with becoming IC Champion for a 9th time which would tie him with Jericho for most IC Title reigns so if we get Morrison/Miz for IC it probably won't happen until SummerSlam

- 4 Horsewomen showing their dominance because not only did Ronda Rousey one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions beat Charlotte Flair but she may have broken Charlotte's arm...that arm is definitely broken EWR injury, it writes Charlotte Flair off TV and she can have her break. Then when she comes back eventually, the face turn can be more organic.

- Shayna Baszler the other half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions and RAW Women's Champion on top of that retains her RAW Women's Championship beating Natalya to retain...I almost expected this. But Shayna sent a pretty strong message and was about to do more damage to Nattie but who saves her? None other than a returning Beth Phoenix...what a shocker

- I definitely thought the dissension within the Ungovernables would still rear its head in the RAW Tag Team Championship match but no instead we get Cesaro & Dragunov retaining their WWE RAW Tag Team Championship beating Moustache Mountain but barely...the dissension is still there under the surface

- But why would Joe even target Brock? What does he gain from that? A Joe/Lesnar rivalry happened 3 years ago in your diary in 2017 so to see this feud reignited makes sense because of Joe's association with this group which I still don't get but Lesnar/Joe was good 3 years ago but I don't know about now

Update on Lashley and why Samoa Joe joined The Hurt Business​

There has been speculation on when Bobby Lashley is likely to return and regrettably, there is bad news. He is likely to be on the shelf until the end of the year. It was a massive blow to him as he was expected to fight Brock Lesnar at Summerslam in a rematch from last year’s Survivor Series. Samoa Joe was picked as a backup for him and hence him getting the chance to fight Brock at Summerslam as part of the Hurt Business. There are now big plans for Joe due to Lashley’s injury and it is likely the push that was going to go to Bobby will go to him instead.

Charlotte is likely to take some time off TV​

Charlotte Flair will be taking a few weeks off TV after having her arm broken by Ronda Rousey at Armageddon. Expect Charlotte Flair to take about a month off action and to be off the Summerslam card. Charlotte requested some time off and it was granted with the hope as well it will lead to the fans getting behind her when she returns to fight Ronda and the rest of the MMA Horsewomen as current plans have Charlotte as a face for at least the duration of this feud.

Orton suspended for 3 weeks for attacking a referee​

Randy Orton has been suspended after attacking a referee at the end of his match against Sami Zayn at Armageddon. He has been heavily fined by Wade Barrett and the suspension will last for 3 weeks.

Angel Garza and Eva Marie suffered broken fingers at Armageddon

Angel Garza and Eva Marie both suffered broken fingers after Garza’s successful title defense against Pete Dunne. During the match, Pete Dunne broke not only the fingers of Angel Garza but also his girlfriend Eva Marie. It remains to be seen if they take any time off to sell the injury or if Angel will carry on performing whilst selling the injury.

We get a video recap of the Armageddon PPV recapping the major events of the PPV: The Ungovernables retaining their titles, Shayna Baszler retaining her Women’s title before Beth Phoenix made her return, Ronda Rousey breaking the arm of Charlotte Flair, Andrade Cien Almas defeating Brock Lesnar thanks to Samoa Joe and Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus in the main event to retain his WWE title. We cut to the commentary team who welcome us to the show before saying right now, we are going to hear from the WWE Champion himself to start the show!

*BROKEN DREAMS*​

DREW MCINTYRE walks out onto the entrance ramp getting a huge pop from the live crowd but he has a slight limp as walks out! He holds the WWE title into the air soaking in the cheers before heading to the ring. The commentary team put over the fight he had with Sheamus but tells us up next at Summerslam he is in for a very different challenge as he has to fight Andrade Cien Almas! The champion gets into the ring and is passed a microphone as he gets ready to speak.

Drew McIntyre: I might be in pain right now but it feels good to be out in front of you as WWE Champion!

A cheap pop but a loud one for the WWE Champion.

Drew McIntyre: I went to war with my close friend Sheamus and…

*WRITTEN IN MY FACE*​

Speak of the devil as SHEAMUS walks out to the entrance ramp with a microphone of his own. Drew looks a bit confused as Sheamus puts his hand out as he looks to address his close friend.

Sheamus: Drew, I wanted to say this to you personally.

He climbs onto the ring apron and steps into the ring standing across from Drew.

Sheamus: You gave me the best fight of my life.

Sheamus hugs his close friend getting a loud pop from the live crowd. The two men break as Drew looks to speak.

Drew McIntyre: And you gave me it as well. One day we will do this again.

Cheers from the crowd prompting a one more match chant from the live crowd as he puts his WWE title back onto his shoulder looking to carry on.

Drew McIntyre: But now it is onto the future starting tonight. See a champion’s work is never done and I might be in pain but intend to fight tonight!

Loud cheers from the crowd happy to see Drew in action.

Drew McIntyre: And in tonight’s main event I will fit another man from back home.

Sheamus: A very mouthy lad though.

Drew nods agreeing.

Drew McIntyre: He is. But we all are when we are young. Noam Dar!

Boos from the crowd for the young Cruiserweight.

Drew McIntyre: You have a big chance tonight. Give me a fight that will make the people back home proud of both of us and who knows?

He lifts his WWE title into the air.

Drew McIntyre: You might get the chance to fight me for this in the future.

Sheamus looks to chime in but before the Celtic Warrior can speak…

ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand and he is joined by ZELINA VEGA at the front. They are soon joined behind them by CESARO and ILJA DRAGUNOV holding their World tag team titles whilst ANGEL GARZA holds this Cruiserweight title with his left hand (his right hand is noticeably taped up). Andrade looks to as he points at Drew and Sheamus in the ring.

Andrade Cien Almas: Last night I did something you two have never done. I beat Brock Lesnar!

Loud boos from the crowd as Andrade misses a big part of the story there as he sticks his arms out gloating. Cesaro noticeably rolls his eyes whilst Zelina takes the microphone from Andrade.

Zelina Vega: Andrade proved that this is The Ungovernables brand!

She points at the rest behind her who show off their titles.

Zelina Vega: All of my clients are draped in gold bar Andrade and in seven weeks he will correct that.

Drew gives her an “Oh really” look as she carries on.

Zelina Vega: Andrade was running this brand whilst you were scratching and clawing your way to Roman. Andrade was the champion Roman wishes he was.

Some shots fired at the Tribal Chief by Zelina.

Zelina Vega: And now you have come to his brand parading as the top superstar? No Andrade runs this brand ask Brock.

Sheamus at this point steps forward.

Sheamus: You only won because Samoa Joe handed you the match on a silver platter!

Loud cheers from the crowd as Vega and Andrade snarl. Cesaro noticeably behind them shrugs not disagreeing with that statement.

Drew McIntyre: Let’s be honest Andrade. We are very different men. Me? I fight with my friends for this. You though Andrade? You use your friends to try to win titles like this!

The crowd loudly pops from Drew who leans on the ropes.

Drew McIntyre: I had to fight through several of Roman’s cronies to get to this title. To even have a chance at this. I’ll fight all of The Ungovernables if I need to if it means keeping my title.

Zelina Vega: My clients do not need help to win. It’s just easier that way.

Zelina passes the microphone to Andrade Cien Almas who points at them.

Andrade Cien Almas: I do not need to explain myself to you. I think right now we…

CESARO TAKES THE MICROPHONE FROM ANDRADE! That causes Andrade to glare at him but Zelina keeps him calm as the Swiss Superman looks to speak.

Cesaro: I think it is time you start showing us the respect we deserve!

Boos from the crowd as Drew looks angry but Sheamus smirks in the ring which further pisses off Cesaro.

Cesaro: Sheamus, I don’t see you holding gold right now!

Sheamus: You’re right fella! But at least I’m not someone’s lackey!

Cesaro looks furious as the crowd largely cheers. Ilja steps forward to keep him calm as Andrade also stops him heading to the ring.

Cesaro: You keep running your mouth and I’ll…

Sheamus: Lose to me again?

Sheamus has a smirk on his face as Drew looks like he has an idea.

Drew McIntyre: And I remember beating Ilja just a few weeks ago.

The Mad Russian glares at Drew as the two friends in the ring look like they have had the same idea.

Drew McIntyre: Y’know I see Shayna Baszler walking around here with two titles and it gives me an idea.

Sheamus: Since we beat you two fellas a couple of weeks ago, how about next week you put those tag team titles on the line against us?

A loud pop from the live crowd for a potentially huge match on next week’s Raw. Zelina shakes her head about to say no but Cesaro has other ideas!

Cesaro: Das ist genug Respektlosigkeit Fotze. We accept!

Cesaro slams the microphone down and storms off as his tag team partner Ilja Dragunov joins him leaving Zelina Vega shaking her head as Andrade also looks pissed off and Angel Garza hangs back. He is also joined by the rest of THE HURT BUSINESS! MVP, LIO RUSH and ISAIAH “SWERVE” STRICKLAND are all in fancy suits as they follow their latest member. Samoa Joe steps into the ring across from Jinder Mahal as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 5: Samoa Joe w/The Hurt Business vs Jinder Mahal w/Singh Brothers​

Match summary: Joe plows through Jinder Mahal with ease and lays into him as Jinder struggles to fight back. The commentary team reminds us that Jinder Mahal is a former WWE Champion but Joe makes this a one-sided beatdown. In the end, Joe locks him in the COQUINA CLUTCH! The Singh Brothers look to enter the ring to help Joe BUT SWERVE AND RUSH stop them as they beat down the Cruiserweights with ease! A mixed reaction upon the finish as the crowd hates Jinder Mahal way more than they hate Samoa Joe. On the outside of the ring Swerve and Lio Rush finish the beatdown of the Singh Brothers to join MVP and Samoa Joe in the ring. The commentary team put over how dangerous this unit is starting to look. MVP meanwhile asks for a microphone before returning to the middle of the ring looking to speak.

Montel smirks as Swerve off-mic says we don’t owe these people anything. MVP nods but carries on anyway.

MVP: Whilst Swerve is right, I want to tell you why Joe made the best decision of his career joining the Hurt Business!

Joe smirks as he stands behind MVP letting his manager speak for him.

Joe nods as he takes the microphone from MVP and looks at the crowd.

He shows a small gap with his fingers and scowls as he speaks.

Oney now steps forward.

INSIDE THE UNGOVERNABLES LOCKER ROOM! We can see ZELINA VEGA and ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS standing on one side of the room whilst CESARO, ILJA DRAGUNOV and ANGEL GARZA stand on the other side of the room.

Zelina Vega: As we can see, Wade Barrett is already trying to screw us so you putting our tag team titles on the line against his two close friends is a horrible idea.

Cesaro rolls his eyes clearly not agreeing with Zelina.

Cesaro: I don’t plan on sitting on the sidelines.

He lifts his tag team title into the air.

Cesaro: I plan on fighting and proving we are the best team.

He looks to his tag team partner Ilja who nods agreeing with Cesaro.

Cesaro: I’ve beaten Sheamus before and next week we’ll beat him again.

Andrade Cien Almas: You better.

Cesaro: Or what?

Cesaro steps forward as he and Andrade lock eyes but Zelina steps in.

Zelina Vega: Andrade wants to make sure the gold all stays in our hands, no one else’s.

Cesaro smirks.

Andrade considers chiming back but stays silent as Angel speaks up.

He shows the broken fingers on his right hand as Zelina walks over to him and smiles.

Andrade pulls a look of disgust before responding.

Andrade Cien Almas: I will be preparing for a main event match. Something you know nothing about.

Cesaro walks forward but Zelina stands in between them!

PETE DUNNE to make his way out! He is also soon joined by the rest of BRITISH STRONG STYLE: TYLER BATE and TRENT SEVEN! The trio walk to the ring as Corbin talks a bunch of trash and tells Dunne to keep his friend in the back. Pete though ignores Corbin and slides into the ring CLOCKING HIM WITH A FOREARM TO THE JAW STRAIGHT AWAY! The referee then calls for the bell to get this match started!

Match 6: Baron Corbin vs Pete Dunne w/Trent Seven and Tyler Bate

Match summary: Pete Dunne keeps the fast-paced assault up in the opening moments of the match and just lays into Corbin with a series of strikes. Corbin does use his size to take back control of the match and Dunne is noticeably still feeling the effect of his title match last night but Dunne outsmarts Corbin by countering a DEEP SIX ATTEMPT INTO A CROSSARMBREAKER! He is wrenching back on the arm of Corbin who refuses to tap out… UNTIL DUNNE BREAKS HIS FINGERS! Corbin screams in pain and is forced to tap out!

Pete Dunne holds on for an extra few seconds to make Corbin suffer that little bit more before dropping his right arm to the mat and standing to his feet with a scowl still on his face. The commentary team mentions that you do not want to get on the wrong side of Pete Dunne as tonight proved. She walks to the ring as the commentary team points out she has become a dominant force on Raw ever since her debut and this has led to confrontations with Nia Jax in recent weeks. Piper steps into the ring and stands across from a fearful Dana Brooke as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match summary: Piper Niven as soon as the bell rings starts to run through Dana Brooke and overpowered her smaller opponent with ease. Boos from the live crowd as the cocky Scottish Supernova NOAM DAR walks out to the ring and he is joined by his new tag team partner KENNY WILLIAMS! The commentary team reminds us they picked up a win last night over Breezango and they will be riding high after their first win together. They also point out Noam Dar’s expertise in attacking the legs of his opponents and after the damage Drew suffered in his WWE title match with Sheamus last night, Dar might be able to pull off the biggest upset in his career so far.

*BROKEN DREAMS*​

A massive pop from the live crowd as DREW MCINTYRE walks out holding his WWE title in the air before being followed by SHEAMUS! The two men are all smiles as the commentary team hypes up the friendship going back years between these two plus Sheamus loves a fight if Kenny Williams tries anything during this main event. Drew steps into the ring as Noam mouths off as usual. The champion ignores him as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Main event: Drew McIntyre w/Sheamus vs Noam Dar w/ Kenny Williams​

Match summary: In the early stages of the match, Drew gives Noam a pounding and overpowers the cocky Scottish Supernova as the Cruiserweight struggles to survive the onslaught by the champion. Kenny Williams outside the ring acts like an over-the-top cheerleader which noticeably pisses off Sheamus. It takes Kenny Williams making a psychical presence to get Noam back into the match as he chop blocks Drew out of view of the referee!

Sheamus looks furious and chases Kenny around the ring but the cocky Cruiserweight manages to keep away from him as Sheamus stays ringside, just in case the Ungovernables pull anything. In the ring, Noam Dar works over Drew and goes after the right leg trying to set him up for the Champagne superkneebar! Drew is clearly in pain but has no intention of tapping out and giving Noam Dar something else to boast about!

Drew eventually gets locked in the CHAMPAGNE SUPERKNEEBAR as Noam gets him trapped in the middle of the ring! Drew though fights through the pain and crawls to the ropes being inches away from them… KENNY PULLS THE ROPES AWAY FROM HIM! The referee tells him off and sends him from ringside… BROGUE KICK FROM SHEAMUS TO KENNY! Kenny is knocked out cold by Sheamus as Dar is forced to break the hold!

He mouths off to Sheamus outside the ring before turning back around into a BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX from Drew McIntyre! Drew dominates the final minutes just slamming down Noam Dar with ease due to the size difference. Noam tries to go for the leg again but Drew now has it scouted and plants Dar with the FUTURESHOCK DDT! Drew then lines up Noam Dar before planting him with the CLAYMORE! Drew makes the cover and picks up another win in the main event of Raw!

Winner via pinfall: Drew McIntyre (11:12)​

Loud cheers from the crowd as Drew McIntyre gets to his feet, wincing due to the damage done to his leg during this match but he still celebrates the victory. Sheamus gets into the ring and celebrates the victory with his pal lifting his arm into the air. Both men are on edge in case of a post-match attack from the Ungovernables but right now, there is no sign of an attack from Andrade’s gang. We then cut backstage to show ZELINA VEGA and ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS watching on a monitor smirking as we fade to black.

- Yeah Sami Zayn wants the IC Title but I can see Orton returning before his suspension like hitting an RKO on Sami out of nowhere costing him the match against Miz for #1 Contendership and then leaving through the crowd before security can get to him.

- Hurt Business...I'M IN!!! BUSINESS IS BOOMIN!!! But I love The Hurt Business more than I do The Ungovernables and why? Because for a stable, for a faction they know how to dress wearing designer suits comin in, in style and they just win matches decisively unlike The Ungovernables

- Seeing the cracks of The Ungovernables as a faction as a unit just like in real life you see the cracks forming in The Bloodline, you see these exact cracks in The Ungovernables because of Cesaro continuously getting in Andrade's face or getting under his skin...then on top of this Cesaro and his Ungovernables teammate the other half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Ilja Dragunov have to defend their titles against Sheamus & the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre...imagine if Ilja and Cesaro lose the titles? Then I wonder who gets kicked out?

On the latest episode of NXT, Keith Lee became a dual champion after defeating Adam Cole in a winner takes all match with the NXT and North American title on the line! Adam Cole had been the longest-running NXT Champion with a reign of over 400 days but now Keith Lee holds the title. There have been rumors of Keith vacating the North American title soon but this idea is unlikely to happen as it is felt it would make the North American title feels lesser as a title and Keith will likely defend both titles in some form at the next takeover.

A loud pop from the live crowd as DANIEL BRYAN walks out as he looks at the fans. He doesn’t play to them but he doesn’t taunt them either. He stays focused as he walks to the ring ahead of this qualifying match. The commentary team mention that Bryan wanted a challenge and there might not be a tougher one than…

*VENGEANCE*

DOMINIK DIJAKOVIC! The muscle of the Ungovernables group walks out and he is joined by his fellow stable mate on Smackdown SHINSUKE NAKAMURA! Both men have cocky smirks on their faces and the commentary team reminds us that Shinsuke is already in the chamber match. They hype up the advantage the pair could have being able to work together. Dijakovic steps into the ring as the referee is about to call for the bell to get this underway but…

*BRAUN/I AM STRONGER*​

BRAUN STROWMAN marches out to the ring! He has a purpose as he charges down the ramp and looks to go after Shinsuke Nakamura! The King of Strong Style wisely wants no part of the monster among men and flees through the crowd. Braun though isn’t done with him yet and follows him through the crowd. Dijakovic meanwhile is distracted by this and Daniel Bryan uses it to his advantage chop blocking his right leg! Dijakovic stumbles and the referee gets the match underway!

Match 1: Elimination Chamber qualifying match: Daniel Bryan vs Dominik Dijakovic​

Match summary: Daniel Bryan may be on the face side of the spectrum compared to the rest of his time in this thread but that doesn’t stop him being vicious in the ring as he looks to pick apart his larger opponent. He focuses a lot of the assault on the legs early on trying to chop down Dijakovic like he is a tree and also stop the usual agility from him. Dijakovic though shows off his power game including booting Bryan off of him at one point to break out of a kneebar!

Dijakovic as we enter the middle stage of the match is slamming Daniel Bryan down with a series of power moves which really puts pressure on the submission specialist who is trying to find a way to bring him down. Dijakovic goes for one too many however as Bryan locks a HANGING ARMBAR OVER THE ROPES! He keeps it on making full use of the 5 count before falling to the ring floor as he breaks the hold. Dijakovic though is starting to struggle due to all the limb work as we enter the final stages of this match.

Dijakovic though looks to bring Bryan back into the ring but as he follows Bryan to the outside BRYAN HITS A DROPKICK TO THE BAD LEG AS HE TRIES TO STEP THROUGH THE ROPES! Dijakovic is stunned and Bryan uses that to DRAGON SUPLEX DIJAKOVIC! He slams him down and gets him trapped in the middle of the ring, locking in a HEEL HOOK! Dijakovic is in a ton of pain and due to the damage done to his arm he can’t crawl to the ropes… SO IS FORCED TO TAP OUT INSTEAD!

Winner via submission: Daniel Bryan (12:39)​

Daniel Bryan drops the leg of Dominik Dijakovic and gets to his feet celebrating the victory over a tough challenge tonight. The commentary team talks about the submission game of Bryan giving him the victory tonight and inside the chamber, a structure known for causing a lot of hurt, could it give Bryan the edge needed to walk away as number one contender for the Universal title? Bryan certainly thinks so as he stands in the ring celebrating and signaling he is coming for the title whilst the show cuts to a commercial break.

She walks down the entrance ramp and grabs a microphone from the ring steps before climbing into the ring, standing across from Ember Moon. She doesn’t look impressed though as she walks up to Ember.

Sasha Banks: Girl, it’s good you got some confidence. I had the same issues back in NXT where I didn’t believe I was the Boss I am today.

She smirks as he looks Ember in the eyes.

Match summary: Shotzi goes after Xia Li early on and overwhelms the unprepared Xia Li early on in the match. Once she gets used to the offense of Shotzi, Xia Li starts to make a fight back and goes after Shotzi with a flurry of kicks sending her back. In the closing stages of the match, Ruby Riott causes a distraction by attacking Taynara Conti from behind and this allows Shotzi to catch Xia Li with a TIGER SUPLEX! She then climbs to the top rope and hits a DIVING SENTON to pick up the win in her debut match!

The commentary team reminds us that Buddy Murphy will be fighting Aleister Black at The Great American Bash for the Universal title in the biggest match of his career and last week he laid out the Universal Champion after his match. Buddy Murphy climbs into the ring taking a moment to look at the crowd before sitting down cross-legged in the same style as Aleister Black! He looks at the crowd soaking in the louder boos before speaking.

Buddy Murphy: Do I have your attention now Black?

A lot of anger as Buddy glares at the crowd.

Buddy Murphy: When I became the number one contender for the Universal title, I thought now was finally the time I would get the praise I deserve. That people would acknowledge me and how far I had come.

Murphy shakes his head.

Buddy Murphy: But instead I am ignored by our champion and treated like I’m not a threat to him.

Buddy is getting angrier and angrier as he speaks.

He points at the commentary team before rolling out of the ring as Buddy towers over Byron Saxton intimidating the commentator.

Bryon stutters a bit scared as Buddy grabs him by the tie!

Buddy lets go of Bryon as the crowd carries on booing him. He heads back into the ring and stands in the middle of it once again.

Buddy slams down the microphone having sent a strong measure ahead of the Great American Bash. The commentary team starts to hype up the Universal title match but as he is leaving the ring, we see ALEISTER BLACK on the titantron sitting down in a dark room surrounded by candles as he looks at Buddy Murphy with a slight snarl before speaking.

Aleister Black: Murphy, you crave adulation and praise.

Black pauses as he looks directly at his challenger.

Aleister Black: You will get none from me.

Cheers from the crowd as Black looks down at Murphy from the titantron.

Aleister Black: All you have gotten with your actions is my wrath.

Black bends down not taking his eyes off Murphy before lifting him Universal title into the air, staring right into Murphy’s soul.

Aleister Black: You want to be seen as the best? All that will be seen is you fading… fading to black!

The screen on the titantron lingers on the face of Aleister Black as he glares at Buddy Murphy who glares back at him. The commentary team hypes up the match in two weeks at the Bash with both ready to go to war with one another at this point. We then get confirmation after the commercial break that Kevin Owens will take on Jey Uso in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match!

KEVIN OWENS to make his way to the ring! He marches out with a purpose as he locks eyes with Jey Uso. The commentary team reminds us that Kevin Owens was the second-ever Universal champion and will be looking to get that title back now he is on his own in his single division. He steps into the ring across from Jey Uso as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 3: Elimination Chamber qualifying match: Kevin Owens vs Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso​

Match summary: Jey Uso starts off the match very aggressively, knowing how rare an opportunity this is for him. Kevin though overpowers Jey Uso and starts to control the match using his superior skill and experience as a singles competitor to overwhelm Jey Uso. On the outside of the ring, we can see Jimmy watching the match very closely. Jey looks like he might be in trouble at one point as Owens teases going for an early STUNNER… BUT JIMMY USO SWIPES AT KO'S LEG DISTRACTING HIM! Kevin turns to Jimmy and shouts some words at him but Jey Uso not realizing why his opponent is shouting at his brother taking advantage of this.

Jey Uso lays into Kevin Owens hitting him with a series of superkicks at one point for a near fall. In the closing stages, Jey is struggling to put away Kevin Owens as Jimmy Uso approaches the ropes and seems to offer Jey a pair of BRASS KNUCKLES! Jey tells him to get lost and he doesn’t want to win that way. Jimmy and Jey argue as Kevin Owens gets back to his feet and catches Jey as he turns around with a STUNNER! Jey is out for the count as Kevin looks Jimmy directly in the eyes and makes the cover advancing to the Great American Bash.

He looks at the brothers before smirking.

We then get confirmation that ROWE of the War Raiders sent this video in after his attack by Bray Wyatt and what happened to his tag team partner Hanson. We cut to Rowe standing in front of a bunch of Viking memorabilia as he looks at the camera with an intense glare.

Rowe: Bray! I don’t know how you found me outside of Smackdown but you made it personal when you caused me to get into a car accident!

We see the photographs that were shown a few weeks ago of the bloody Rowe in a car accident before Rowe carries on.

Rowe: I have had to sit in a hospital bed and watch what you did to my tag team partner, my brother-in-arms Hanson!

Rowe starts to pace up and down.

Rowe: You have declared war on us and I promise you, all the monsters you have are nothing compared to the terrors, war can bring!

Kevin looks to ask more questions but before he can RONDA ROUSEY and SHAYNA BASZLER hit Lita and Trish with their TAG TEAM TITLES FROM BEHIND! Boos from the crowd as the champions lay into the legends giving them a beating on the floor before slamming them into a production crate. Kevin Patrick tries to tell them to stop but RONDA RESPONDS BUT SMASHING HER WITH THE TITLE BELT AS WELL!

A heinous action by Ronda Rousey but she doesn’t care about the potential fine as she goes back to attacking Lita and Trish. They lay into the legends before sending each of them in production crates, slamming their arms hard into them. Ronda and Shayna smirk as they each look at the damage they have caused before lifting up the tag team titles they had used to attack the legends and the interview. Ronda bends over them with a sinister smirk.

Ronda Rousey: You might have built this division but we have taken it over.

Shayna Baszler: See you soon.

The champions walk off leaving the legends laid out in their wake as Smackdown cuts to a commercial break.

Seth Rollins: Jeff I suggest you listen to this sermon because if you don’t, tonight might be the end.

He smirks in a sinister fashion looking directly at the camera.

Seth Rollins: And you don’t want your career to end on a bad note.

Seth stops himself though and smirks slight as he looks to his followers.

Seth Rollins: But maybe you are truly beyond saving!

He does his signature annoying laugh before clasping his hands together.

Seth Rollins: You’ve never been good at listening to the calls for you to let people help you.

A low blow from Rollins who turns to the Authors of Pain placing a hand on each man’s chest. The giant tag team remains stoic and focused as they stare dead ahead.

Seth Rollins: The Good Brothers. I am very familiar with you two and my authors are too. They know how to inflict pain upon you.

Seth turns back around smirking in sinister fashion.

Seth Rollins: Two lost little lambs without AJ to guide them to the promised land.

Seth lifts a hand into the air before turning it into a fist and scowling.

Seth Rollins: But that’s not all. I don’t want them to stop inflicting pain on the Good Brothers. No, we want to give the Great American Bash a taste of pain!

Seth Rollins: Heavy Machinery took over the tag team division at Wrestlemania. Time to correct that.

He turns to them as they each nod bringing a smile to the face of Seth before he turns to his newest disciple Nathan Frazer. He puts his hands around his face smiling.

Nathan smiles and nods taking in every word from Seth.

Seth Rollins: I have brought you to Smackdown but tell the people who don’t know you why you saw the light and joined me.

Seth steps out of the way letting Nathan step forward with a smile on his face.

Nathan Frazer: I was born on the Isle of Man, a small island off the coast of the United Kingdom. There was no place for me to learn to wrestle and I learned by watching this man on my TV.

Seth smiles proudly as Nathan carries on.

CHAD GABLE to make his way out! He is joined by his manager KURT ANGLE and has the United States title around his waist plus a microphone in his hand as he points at Roode in the ring.

Chad Gable: When picking my tag team partner I thought about who I would want to team with.

The crowd starts to chant for Angle but the legend is quick to show he has a microphone and speaks to them.

Kurt Angle: I’m sorry guys but I am retired and I plan on keeping it that way.

Boos from the crowd unhappy with the answer but Chad puts a hand on Kurt’s shoulder nodding before carrying.

Chad Gable: The person I choose has wanted to train with me and feels he can help me get even better. I figured now was the time to give him a chance to prove it.

The crowd are a little confused before Chad Gable turns to the entrance stage pointing towards it.

Chad Gable: My tag team partner is… Drew Gulak!

A new theme song for DREW GULAK as he gets an alright pop from the live crowd and he shakes hands with Chad Gable before walking to the ring with him. The commentary team mention that Drew Gulak last year was offering his help to Chad Gable and recently on Twitter offered to train with him so this could be a trial run for Gulak. After a quick chat, Gulak starts for his team whilst James Storm starts for the Outlaws and the referee calls for the bell!

Match 4: The Last Outlaws vs Chad Gable and Drew Gulak w/Kurt Angle​

Match summary: James Storm is very cocky upon the opening bell being rung and soon pays for it as Gulak lays into him with a series of hard strikes before grinding him down on the mat. Kurt outside the ring looks impressed by the performance from Gulak so far who makes the tag to the United States Champion and they work well together shocking The Last Outlaws.

Storm has to resort to an eye rake to make a comeback and Bobby Roode steps into the ring to start trying to take control for his team. Bobby Roode and James Storm work over Drew Gulak trapping him in their corner but Gulak is ready for their tricks and soon escapes making the hot tag to bring Gable back into the match! Gable is a house on fire hitting both Storm and Roode with a series of suplexes. He controls the match and even pulls the straps down as he locks Roode in the ANKLE LOCK!

He yanks back on the right leg of Roode who scrambles to the ropes as James Storm SUPERKICKS GABLE THROUGH THE ROPES! He falls back to his corner as DREW GULAK BLIND TAGS INTO THE MATCH! Drew runs into the ring as he looks to drag Roode away BUT STORM DISTRACTS THE REFEREE ALLOWING BOBBY TO LOW BLOW GULAK! Bobby then takes advantage of it by hitting the GLORIOUS DDT! Roode makes the cover as James Storm stops Chad Gable from breaking it up and The Last Outlaws pick up the win!

Liv Morgan: Are you scared of getting your ass beat by me Belair?

Bianca scoffs at that and shakes a finger.

Bianca Belair: You are tripping if I am scared of you.

She points at Liv in the ring being very dismissive before looking to the fans in the crowd.

Bianca Belair: And when I fight, I want people to know they are paying to see me. Cause I am the E S T and I am UN-DE-FEA-TED on Smackdown Live!

Liv Morgan: Then name the time and the place you want to do this!

Liv is getting fed up with the disrespect from Belair.

Bianca Belair: But I was looking for someone to beat at The Great American Bash and you can be the next lucky victim!

KAYLA BRAXTON is standing backstage ready for an interview!

Kayla Braxton: It’s been a packed night already and we are about to have our main event for the evening. However, right now I have one-half of the main event next to me. Please welcome my guest at this time JEFF HARDY!

Jeff walks into the shot and he already has his face paint on, ready for this big main event against Seth Rollins.

Kayla Braxton: How are you feeling ahead of the main event tonight?

Jeff Hardy: For weeks I’ve had to listen to Seth try to recruit me to his cult. He wants me to join his followers? Kayla, I’ve hit many lows but I will never be low enough to look to someone like Seth Rollins for help!

Kayla Braxton: Seth has promised to keep his church backstage to make sure it is a fair fight. Do you trust him?

Jeff shakes his head.

Jeff Hardy: I learned a long time ago to not trust people like Seth Rollins and I will plan for his so-called followers to make their presence felt.

???: And so will I!

The camera pans over as we can see MANSOOR walk into the shot offering his hand to Jeff who accepts and shakes hands with the young rookie.

Mansoor: It’s truly an honor to see one of my idols in the flesh. Growing up in Saudi Arabia, you were always one of my favorite superstars.

Jeff Hardy: Thanks Mansoor that means a lot.

Mansoor: And due to that I want to have your back. So if they try to interfere in the main event, I will help you.

Jeff nods accepting it but Mansoor isn’t done.

Mansoor: And even if they don’t get involved, I want Nathan Frazer in the ring next week.

A challenge sent to the newest member of the Smackdown roster as Jeff thanks the young rookie offering him a fistbump before heading to the ring as the commentary confirms the main event is up next!

When we return from the commercial break the commentary team confirms Mansoor will take on Nathan Frazer on next week’s Smackdown and also that Bray Wyatt will take on Rowe as the Great American Bash!

Loud cheers as always from the live crowd with JEFF HARDY making his way to the ring dancing in signature fashion for the fans. The commentary team puts over the history Jeff has winning titles and this could be one last chance to become a world champion. He stands in the ring and looks up the ramp waiting as…

*VISIONARY*​

SETH ROLLINS makes his way out sticking his arms out wide! He soaks in the loud boos from the live crowd before kneeling on the entrance ramp. He rises back to his feet with a sinister grin on his face before heading to the ring. The commentary team mentions Seth has promised to do this alone tonight and we should see no interference from his Church tonight. Seth now stands in the ring across from Jeff as the referee calls for the bell to get the main event underway.

Main event: Elimination Chamber qualifying match: Seth Rollins vs Jeff Hardy​

Match summary: Jeff Hardy starts off the match with a lot of anger and lays into Seth with a series of hard strikes catching the savior off-guard. Jeff keeps the quick pace up and looks to go for an early SWANTON BOMB… SETH AVOIDS IT! The early pace of the match nearly gives Jeff an early win but Seth now looks to make him pay for it. The commentary team wonders with Jeff’s age and the condition his body might be in, that he planned to end this quickly and take Seth by surprise.

Seth works over Jeff, making a point to target the back of Jeff Hardy and therefore cause him even more pain if he goes for the Swanton bomb one more time. Jeff tries to fight back and does start up several comebacks but each one gets cut off! Jeff is in a lot of pain but the fans keep rallying behind him which prompts Seth to mock the live crowd and hurt Jeff even more each time they cheer for him. As we reach the closing stages of the match Seth is lining up Jeff for a CURB STOMP… BUT JEFF AVOIDS IT!

The crowd goes wild as Jeff stays alive! He lays into Seth with a few kicks before looking to hits him with the TWIST OF FATE! Loud cheers from the crowd as Jeff takes a moment to make the cover 1 2 Seth kicks out! Jeff winces before heading to the corner knowing how to end this match! He slowly climbs to the top rope but as he gets to the top SETH CLOBBERS HIM WITH A HIGH KNEE! Jeff is rocked and Seth takes full advantage as he connects with a SUPERPLEX! Seth holds on before planting him with a FALCON ARROW! Seth stays on for the cover 1 2 3 THE DAMAGE TO THE BACK WAS TOO MUCH AND SETH ADVANCES TO THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH!

Seth Rollins gets to his feet and sticks his arms out into the air soaking in the boos from the live crowd. The commentary team gives him credit for being a man of his word and he won without help from his disciples. Jeff Hardy in the meantime lays in the ring and is in a ton of pain holding his back having coming up just short tonight. The show comes to a close as Seth Rollins stands at the top of the entrance ramp and gloats before turning around…

SPEAR BY EDGE WIPING HIM OUT! Edge gets back to his feet with a wild-eyed look in his eyes as he looks at Seth Rollins on the entrance ramp and says he told him this wasn’t over yet! He looks ready to do more damage to the savior but we can see THE CHURCH OF SETH ROLLINS POURING OUT LOOKING TO GET THEIR HANDS ON EDGE… BUT THE LEGEND FLEES THROUGH THE CROWD! They check on their leader who sits up and glares at a smirking Edge who stands in the crowd with the fans going wild next to him as Smackdown comes to a close.

- Elimination Chamber Match for Smackdown to determine the next #1 Contender for the WWE Universal Championship is stacked...you have Reigns, Rollins, Nakamura of The Ungovernables, Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Edge all in this match...realistically any of these 6 guys could win it that's how hard this match is to call

- Honestly I have my Tribal Chief, your Chief, our Chief Roman Reigns winning this. Why? Because Roman has been on a tear he has been on the warpath ever since coming back after he was thrown off of the top of Hell In A Cell and he came back in record time. Like that's almost superhuman. Not to mention he has his Bloodline to help him out that being The Usos and Naomi on top of that.

- But then again Rollins could win this too because his faction The Church has strength in numbers he has English, The Authors of Pain and now the new upstart Nathan Frazier to help him out in this Chamber Match

- Seeing Daniel Bryan here on Smackdown...this is not the same Daniel Bryan we are accustomed to seeing. This Bryan is different. There's just something about him. Plus the way he beat The Ungovernables' muscle their Enforcer Dominik Dijakovic relatively easily, this is the Daniel Bryan I think we have all been waiting for.

- But then Rollins his faction could end up with gold because AOP are facing Heavy Machinery for those Smackdown Tag Team Championships at The Bash and could you imagine if they win those?

- Shotzi joining The Riott Squad...her of all people I would have never have expected

- Bianca Belair as a heel, I don't know why but I just love her here as a heel as opposed to being a babyface because her gimmick screams heel so to see her first feud be Liv Morgan, I don't have a problem with that
