We get a video recap of the Armageddon PPV recapping the major events of the PPV: The Ungovernables retaining their titles, Shayna Baszler retaining her Women’s title before Beth Phoenix made her return, Ronda Rousey breaking the arm of Charlotte Flair, Andrade Cien Almas defeating Brock Lesnar thanks to Samoa Joe and Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus in the main event to retain his WWE title. We cut to the commentary team who welcome us to the show before saying right now, we are going to hear from the WWE Champion himself to start the show!
DREW MCINTYRE walks out onto the entrance ramp getting a huge pop from the live crowd but he has a slight limp as walks out! He holds the WWE title into the air soaking in the cheers before heading to the ring. The commentary team put over the fight he had with Sheamus but tells us up next at Summerslam he is in for a very different challenge as he has to fight Andrade Cien Almas! The champion gets into the ring and is passed a microphone as he gets ready to speak.
Drew McIntyre: I might be in pain right now but it feels good to be out in front of you as WWE Champion!
A cheap pop but a loud one for the WWE Champion.
Drew McIntyre: I went to war with my close friend Sheamus and…
Speak of the devil as SHEAMUS walks out to the entrance ramp with a microphone of his own. Drew looks a bit confused as Sheamus puts his hand out as he looks to address his close friend.
Sheamus: Drew, I wanted to say this to you personally.
He climbs onto the ring apron and steps into the ring standing across from Drew.
Sheamus: You gave me the best fight of my life.
Sheamus hugs his close friend getting a loud pop from the live crowd. The two men break as Drew looks to speak.
Drew McIntyre: And you gave me it as well. One day we will do this again.
Cheers from the crowd prompting a one more match chant from the live crowd as he puts his WWE title back onto his shoulder looking to carry on.
Drew McIntyre: But now it is onto the future starting tonight. See a champion’s work is never done and I might be in pain but intend to fight tonight!
Loud cheers from the crowd happy to see Drew in action.
Drew McIntyre: And in tonight’s main event I will fit another man from back home.
Sheamus: A very mouthy lad though.
Drew nods agreeing.
Drew McIntyre: He is. But we all are when we are young. Noam Dar!
Boos from the crowd for the young Cruiserweight.
Drew McIntyre: You have a big chance tonight. Give me a fight that will make the people back home proud of both of us and who knows?
He lifts his WWE title into the air.
Drew McIntyre: You might get the chance to fight me for this in the future.
Sheamus looks to chime in but before the Celtic Warrior can speak…
ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand and he is joined by ZELINA VEGA at the front. They are soon joined behind them by CESARO and ILJA DRAGUNOV holding their World tag team titles whilst ANGEL GARZA holds this Cruiserweight title with his left hand (his right hand is noticeably taped up). Andrade looks to as he points at Drew and Sheamus in the ring.
Andrade Cien Almas: Last night I did something you two have never done. I beat Brock Lesnar!
Loud boos from the crowd as Andrade misses a big part of the story there as he sticks his arms out gloating. Cesaro noticeably rolls his eyes whilst Zelina takes the microphone from Andrade.
Zelina Vega: Andrade proved that this is The Ungovernables brand!
She points at the rest behind her who show off their titles.
Zelina Vega: All of my clients are draped in gold bar Andrade and in seven weeks he will correct that.
Drew gives her an “Oh really” look as she carries on.
Zelina Vega: Andrade was running this brand whilst you were scratching and clawing your way to Roman. Andrade was the champion Roman wishes he was.
Some shots fired at the Tribal Chief by Zelina.
Zelina Vega: And now you have come to his brand parading as the top superstar? No Andrade runs this brand ask Brock.
Sheamus at this point steps forward.
Sheamus: You only won because Samoa Joe handed you the match on a silver platter!
Loud cheers from the crowd as Vega and Andrade snarl. Cesaro noticeably behind them shrugs not disagreeing with that statement.
Drew McIntyre: Let’s be honest Andrade. We are very different men. Me? I fight with my friends for this. You though Andrade? You use your friends to try to win titles like this!
The crowd loudly pops from Drew who leans on the ropes.
Drew McIntyre: I had to fight through several of Roman’s cronies to get to this title. To even have a chance at this. I’ll fight all of The Ungovernables if I need to if it means keeping my title.
Zelina Vega: My clients do not need help to win. It’s just easier that way.
Zelina passes the microphone to Andrade Cien Almas who points at them.
Andrade Cien Almas: I do not need to explain myself to you. I think right now we…
CESARO TAKES THE MICROPHONE FROM ANDRADE! That causes Andrade to glare at him but Zelina keeps him calm as the Swiss Superman looks to speak.
Cesaro: I think it is time you start showing us the respect we deserve!
Boos from the crowd as Drew looks angry but Sheamus smirks in the ring which further pisses off Cesaro.
Cesaro: Sheamus, I don’t see you holding gold right now!
Sheamus: You’re right fella! But at least I’m not someone’s lackey!
Cesaro looks furious as the crowd largely cheers. Ilja steps forward to keep him calm as Andrade also stops him heading to the ring.
Cesaro: You keep running your mouth and I’ll…
Sheamus: Lose to me again?
Sheamus has a smirk on his face as Drew looks like he has an idea.
Drew McIntyre: And I remember beating Ilja just a few weeks ago.
The Mad Russian glares at Drew as the two friends in the ring look like they have had the same idea.
Drew McIntyre: Y’know I see Shayna Baszler walking around here with two titles and it gives me an idea.
Sheamus: Since we beat you two fellas a couple of weeks ago, how about next week you put those tag team titles on the line against us?
A loud pop from the live crowd for a potentially huge match on next week’s Raw. Zelina shakes her head about to say no but Cesaro has other ideas!
Cesaro: Das ist genug Respektlosigkeit Fotze. We accept!
Cesaro slams the microphone down and storms off as his tag team partner Ilja Dragunov joins him leaving Zelina Vega shaking her head as Andrade also looks pissed off and Angel Garza hangs back. Sheamus and Drew in the ring are all smiles as the commentary team confirms via Wade Barrett that it is official and next week in Raw’s main event Sheamus and Drew McIntyre will fighting The Ungovernables members Cesaro and Ilja Dragunov for the World tag team titles. The commentary team then tells us after the commercial break we will see The Miz in action against Erick Rowan!

Boos from the live crowd as ERICK ROWAN walks out in a very different attire than before. He is wearing a white shirt and trousers as he walks to the ring, ready to take care of business for the man he bodyguards: John Morrison. The commentary team mentions that Miz has been trying to get his hands on John Morrison and figures going through Erick Rowan is the way to do it.
A decent pop from the live crowd as THE MIZ makes his way to the ring and whilst he does most of his usual posing, he looks serious as he points at Erick Rowan. The commentary team brings up how much the Intercontinental title means to him and he will desperate to break the record he is tied with Chris Jericho for and become a 10-time Intercontinental Champion. Once he is in the ring, The Miz rings the bell and this match is underway!
Match 1: The Miz vs Erick Rowan
Match summary: The Miz struggles in the early stages of the match due to the superior power of Rowan who controls the match and tosses around the smaller Miz with ease. The Miz has to use cunning and craftiness to target the legs of Erick Rowan and bring him down using the FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK to great effect. In the end, Miz pounces on Rowan’s leg buckling and hits him with the SKULL CRUSHING FINALE for the win!
Winner via pinfall: The Miz (6:34)
Cheers from the live crowd as The Miz gets back to his feet and celebrates the victory over Erick Rowan. The commentary team points out it is getting harder and harder for Morrison to keep denying The Miz the rematch he wants. In the ring, Miz makes it very clear off-mic that he is coming for the Intercontinental title as the commentary team then brings us back to the Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey match last night. The commentary team confirms she has a broken arm before cutting to a video as…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHARLOTTE FLAIR is shown sitting in an ambulance with her broken arm in a sling as she looks furious and stares at the camera.
Charlotte Flair: You broke my arm, Ronda.
She sighs as she says that, hating to admit any weakness.
Charlotte Flair: It pains me to admit you managed to hurt me, Ronda.
She clenches her jaw and fist on her left arm.
Charlotte Flair: I’m a Flair and my father got more injuries than I could count. He never quit. He kept fighting until the end.
She fumes as she sits in the ambulance looking around before carrying on.
Charlotte Flair: Even when his body was breaking, he still fought until Shawn put him down for good.
And he never ever wrestled again. Totally. Don’t @ me.
Charlotte Flair: My arm might be broken right now but this will heal and when it does, I’m coming back for revenge.
She gets to her feet standing up as she looks at the camera.
Charlotte Flair: Ronda, Shayna and whoever else you have at your side, I promise the Queen will reign supreme.
She then does the “four” hand signal as she looks at the camera.
Charlotte Flair: And if I need some help, I know who to call.
The promo comes to an end with a defiant Charlotte staring at the camera as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see THE NEW DAY members BIG E and XAVIER WOODS hanging out backstage. Woods still looks a little down about his loss whilst Big E tries to raise his spirits.
Big E: Listen we need to get back on the horse. Next week, we go out to that ring and we show them what we can do.
Woods nods but is still not feeling the speech 100%. However before we hear more from Big E, MVP walks into the room with a big smile. Big E turns around and looks furious.
Big E: I’ve told you the answer already.
MVP put his arms up.
MVP: I was giving you one last chance. Did you not see what Samoa Joe did to Brock Lesnar?
Big E remains unmoved as MVP backs away from him smirking.
MVP: I gave him what he wanted and I can give you three what you want as well.
Big E and Woods both stand together.
Xavier Woods: We appreciate the offer Montel but we do our own thing.
MVP shakes his head as he walks back into the hallway.
MVP: Last chance boys because once this door shuts so does my offer.
Big E steps forward as MVP thinks he might be about to say yes but BIG E SLAMS THE DOOR SHUT ON MVP AND HIS OFFER! We see MVP standing in front of the door and clenches his fists looking furious before walking away elsewhere whilst we cut back to the ring as…

DOLPH ZIGGLER makes his way out with the contract he won last night in his hands! He is getting a mixed reaction from the live crowd as a fair few fans boo him but Ziggler plays to the crowd like it is all cheers. He heads down the entrance ramp with the commentary team reminding us he won the number one contender’s match for the Cruiserweight title last night. He looks a little worse for wear with tape around his mid-section but once in the ring, he asks for a microphone as he looks to address the live crowd.
Dolph Ziggler: It feels good to be back on the top of my game!
Once again a mixed reaction from the live crowd.
Dolph Ziggler: A lot of people doubted me. They thought the new generation would prove I was past it but I’m still fighting to be at the top!
He points at the fans in the crowd.
Dolph Ziggler: Even you people have doubted me. You think I have given up. That I’m just coasting.
Another mixed reaction from the crowd but Ziggler ain’t wrong.
Dolph Ziggler: This contract proves I’m not giving up without a fight.
He shakes his head clearly feeling himself right now.
Dolph Ziggler: But when am I taking my one on one shot at the Cruiserweight title?
He walks around the ring with a smirk on his face.
Dolph Ziggler: I was thinking about using this to take my shot at Summerslam but I read the contract, something you should always do and it says I just need to give notice when I want my title match.
A crafty smile appears on the face of Ziggler.
Dolph Ziggler: And Angel, I saw your match with Pete Dunne. He really did a number on your right hand.
Ziggler faking sympathy for the champion.
Dolph Ziggler: But I know you are cleared to compete so next week, I will be fighting you for the Cruiserweight title!
A mixed reaction from the crowd but more cheers as people lack sympathy for Angel Garza.
Dolph Ziggler: And after seeing what happened to Eva Marie, she won’t be there to hand you the victory this time!
Ziggler slams the microphone down to the mat and poses in the ring with his contract in hand as the commentary team confirms it is official and on next week’s Raw, we will see Angel Garza defend the Cruiserweight title against Dolph Ziggler as we cut to a commercial break.

Angel Garza: This better be a joke!
He lifts his right hand showing his taped-up fingers.
Angel Garza: Look at my hand! Look what that brute did to my hands! Me and Eva can’t even hold each other!
Zelina rolls her eyes before taking over.
Zelina Vega: My client is not one hundred percent and therefore I want the match canceled.
Wade lets out a slight chuckle.
Wade Barrett: Zelina, we both know that I had Angel checked by the doctors when he arrived at the arena and he is cleared to compete.
Vega looks furious whilst Garza shakes his head not happy about this.
Wade Barrett: So whilst you might not be one hundred percent, you will put your Cruiserweight title on the line next week or you can forfeit it right now.
Garza looks furious before storming off. Vega though stays as she points at Wade.
Zelina Vega: I know my client Andrade is going for your boy’s title but if you try to screw us, you will pay.
Wade Barrett remains unfazed as Zelina storms off and we cut back to the ring for the next match as…

ISLA DAWN walks out onto the entrance ramp and she is joined by her tag team partner NIKKI CROSS! Isla Dawn seems to be getting a few words from her tag team partner before she heads backstage as the young Scot walks down the ramp. The commentary team puts over that this is a chance for Isla and her opponent to put themselves in contention for the Women’s Universal title. We then find out she is facing…
MELINA! The veteran makes her way out doing her signature entrance and getting a decent pop from the live crowd. The commentary mentions it has been a while since we have seen her on Raw but tonight she will be looking to get back in the Women’s title picture and earn the chance to become a 6-time Women’s Champion. Once in the ring, she nods towards Isla as a sign of respect before the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!
Match 2: Melina vs Isla Dawn
Match summary: Melina is a little shocked by Isla Dawn’s fire in the early stage as she lays into the veteran with a series of kicks and strikes early on. Melina uses her smarts to ride the storm and starts to work over Isla taking advantage where she can without breaking the rules. In the end, Melina hits Isla Dawn with the EXTREME MAKEOVER leaping off the top rope! She makes the cover and picks up the win on her return to Raw!
Winner via pinfall: Melina (6:32)
Melina gets to her feet and has her arm lifted into the air by the referee. The commentary team put over her veteran experience helping her to win this match and overcome a very game Isla Dawn. Cheers from the live crowd as THE DIVAS OF DOOM walk out to the top of the entrance ramp. Both BETH PHOENIX and NATALYA look at the crowd soaking in the cheers before heading to the ring. The commentary team reminds us Beth won the first ever Queen of the Ring to become a 5-time Women’s Champion. However, Shayna Baszler would cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase 2 days later and break Beth’s arm with the help of Ronda and the rest of the MMA Horsewomen. Natalya would try to avenge her last night but fell short, being saved by Beth. Both women are now in the ring with a microphone in hand as they look to address the live crowd.
Beth Phoenix: Sitting at home for these last few weeks, has been killing me.
Beth looks angry as she stares at the camera.
Beth Phoenix: And I know this will be my future soon.
Natalya shakes her head but Beth carries on.
Beth Phoenix: This is my final year but I want to go out on my terms, not someone else’s!
She is fired up and looks angry as she stares at the camera with fury in her eyes.
Beth Phoenix: At Queen of the Ring, I got my hands on the Women’s Universal champion and became your first-ever Queen of the Ring!
Loud cheers from the live crowd.
Beth Phoenix: I had the title and I planned on defending that title until the very end of the year, retiring with that title still champion like Trish Stratus did.
Cheap pop for the legend’s name being mentioned.
Beth Phoenix: But Shayna took that dream from me.
She looks at her right shoulder which is still taped up in a sling and cast.
Beth Phoenix: She cashed on me after my match with Nia Jax and stole my title. But she didn’t stop there.
Beth paces around the ring furious as she recounts how she lost her Women’s Universal title.
Beth Phoenix: She broke my arm!
She lets that line linger still glaring at the camera before carrying on.
Beth Phoenix: Thanks to her, I couldn’t hold my children. I couldn’t hug my husband! I had to sit and home and consider if I was going to end it there.
The anger fades away and sadness can be heard in the voice of Beth Phoenix.
Beth Phoenix: I had already been thinking of hanging it up but I came to the arena last night to watch Nattie beat Shayna’s ass.
Natalya smiles nodding at her friend.
Beth Phoenix: But when I saw them try to break her arm like they broke mine, I knew I wasn’t done!
Loud cheers from the crowd happy to see Beth is not retiring just yet.
Beth Phoenix: And now once this arm heals, I’m coming for not just my Women’s Universal title…
Natalya: But the tag team titles too!
A pop from the live crowd as the Divas of Doom look to carry on their speech but…
THE MMA HORSEWOMEN walk out to nuclear heat from the live crowd! RONDA ROUSEY and SHAYNA BASZLER are front and center with their titles on their shoulders whilst they hold microphones. JESSAMYN DUKE and MARINA SHAFIR stand in their ring gear on either side of their leaders as Ronda speaks first.
Ronda Rousey: Beth, I want you to know that what we did wasn’t personal.
Shayna Baszler: Charlotte Flair? That was personal.
The Horsewomen laugh it up as the crowd loudly boos them.
Ronda Rousey: But you Beth? We actually have respect for you.
Beth doesn’t seem to buy it as Shayna carries on.
Shayna Baszler: You set the foundations for Ronda to take this division to the heights a true star can.
Loud boos again as the Divas of Doom look unimpressed.
Shayna Baszler: But it was time for us to take over this division and you were just in the way.
Ronda Rousey: We had to send a fair warning to the rest of the roster.
Natalya: I regret ever helping you when you came into this business.
Cheers from the crowd who get behind the Queen of Harts. Ronda fakes being upset before carrying on.
Ronda Rousey: That hurt Nattie. We were still willing to accept you into our cause even after what you did last night.
Ronda turns to Shayna who nods along.
Ronda Rousey: But if you feel that way, there is no need to show any mercy.
Shayna smiles wickedly.
Shayna Baszler: Beth we don’t want to wait for your arm to heal as we’re very busy.
Ronda Rousey: We got teams like Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez on NXT trying to take our tag team titles.
Shayna Baszler: So we aren’t going to wait. We’re doing this now.
Loud boos from the live crowd as the MMA Horsewomen approach the ring but Beth looks to speak instead!
Beth Phoenix: I mean Ronda, us legends have to stick together and we made sure to have some friends on hand to stop you if you tried anything!
LITA and TRISH STRATUS sprint out with kendo sticks in hand as they start to fend off the MMA Horsewomen! Natalya slides out of the ring to help fend them off and this leads to the MMA Horsewomen backing up the entrance ramp until…
WADE BARRETT marches out in a suit with a microphone in his hand pointing at the women on the entrance ramp and in the ring!
Wade Barrett: OK that is enough. I want everyone to go to the back right now except Lita, Trish, Jessamyn and Marina as you will be in action right now!
Short and sweet as Wade drops the microphone and the commentary team confirms we will see Lita and Trish Stratus in action next!

Match summary: We return from the commercial break with the legends in full control of the match and it remains that way throughout. During the match, we also cut backstage to show the tag team champions watching the match backstage and do not look happy with how dominant the legends look. In the end, Trish Stratus takes Shafir out with the CHICK KICK whilst Lita connects with her LITASAULT on Duke and makes the cover giving the legends another tag team win ahead of their title match at the Great American Bash!
Winners via pinfall: Trish Stratus and Lita (6:35)
The crowd cheers loudly as the legends stand tall in the middle of the ring celebrating their second win as a duo since their return. The commentary team puts over how well they have worked together as a team since they came back before Queen of the Ring. We cut to the tag team champions shaking their heads backstage before we then cut to…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOAM DAR and KENNY WILLIAMS are standing backstage in a tracksuit with the same cocky smirks on their faces.
Noam Dar: When I was told to get a tag team partner, there was only one man I had in mind. A man who is as confident as, as handsome as me and certainly not a dafty!
Kenny chuckles as he carries on.
Kenny Williams: If you think I came here to do things the right way you are in for a shock.
He leans closer to the camera.
Kenny Williams: I’m the scum of the Earth.
He chuckles to himself as Dar smirks.
Noam Dar: And we will do whatever it takes to get gold and girls around our waist.
Noam turns to Kenny.
Noam Dar: I mean tonight, I’ll do whatever it takes to beat Drew and get a shot at the WWE title!
Kenny nods before turning to the camera.
Kenny Williams: Drew you might have forgotten me but I ain’t forgotten you since the days of the ICW asylum.
The main wrestling promotion in Scotland.
Kenny Williams: You are seen as a hero back home. I don’t want to be the hero, I want to be the villain who slays the hero.
Noam Dar: That’s leg of yours Drew, it isn’t one hundred percent is it? Be a shame if I took advantage of it.
The cocky scots both walk off laughing to themselves as the commentary team hypes up the main event before we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see CHARLY CARUSO walking through the back as she approaches MUSTAFA ALI for an interview!
Charly Caruso: Mustafa, can I get a few words with you?
Ali nods though he is still frustrated after missing out on the number one contendership for the Cruiserweight title.
Charly Caruso: Last night was a disappointing night even though in a lot of people’s minds you stole the show by diving off the entrance stage and hitting Dolph Ziggler with the 054.
Ali stays silent but nods agreeing with Charly’s statement.
Charly Caruso: But he was still able to come back and win the match, stopping you in the final moments. How much does that sting?
Ali sighs.
Mustafa Ali: Using what I did to him, to sneak off to the back and let us beat each other up? Pretty smart I’ll give him that.
Ali laughs slightly but clearly there is a lot of anger there.
Mustafa Ali: And now, taking advantage of Garza’s injury to try to win the Cruiserweight title? It proves my point. Ziggler has given up on doing things the right way because he knows he can’t keep up with the superstars of today.
Ouch. Strong words from Ali as he carries on.
Mustafa Ali: But if that is how he wants to win, I’ll just have to prove that my way is the right way. Because win or lose Ziggler, I’m coming after the Cruiserweight title and you once again.
Mustafa Ali walks away from Charly Caruso bringing the interview to an end as we cut back to the ring and see

SAMI ZAYN makes his way out getting a decent pop from the live crowd. The commentary team reminds us that he defeated Randy Orton last night at Armageddon before the Viper got himself suspended for attacking officials due to not being happy with how he lost. Sami Zayn now stands in the ring with a smile on his face as he looks to address the live crowd.
Sami Zayn: Last night, I got my own version of revenge on Randy Orton for what he did to me.
Cheers from the live crowd as Sami carries on.
Sami Zayn: Now people can call it a fluke but I outsmarted him.
He taps his head and carries on.
Sami Zayn: I knew he would be too focused on trying to hurt me than win the match so I used his punt against him and took the win!
He points at his chest smiling.
Sami Zayn: And if Randy has a problem with that, after his suspension is up he knows where to find me.
A challenge for a rematch sent to the Viper.
Sami Zayn: But in the meantime, it’s time I focus on one of my goals now I am on my own on Raw. Becoming a singles champion.
Cheers from the crowd as Sami looks directly at the camera.
Sami Zayn: Thanks to Kevin, I finally became a champion on Smackdown after years without gold but now I am on Raw, I want to prove I can still do it on my own.
A little bit of self-doubt in Sami’s voice.
Sami Zayn: And that’s why I’m planning on becoming Intercontinental Champion!
Cheers from the crowd who like the idea of seeing Sami Zayn with a singles title.
Sami Zayn: And I know several superstars are trying to become Intercontinental Champion but whoever stands in my way of getting my hands on John Morrison will…
A mixed reaction from the live crowd not happy to see Sami interrupted and for the second time tonight THE MIZ makes his way out. He is in a button shirt with sunglasses and points at Sami in the ring.
The Miz: Sami I was listening backstage and I was with you. Like these people, I love the idea of you becoming a singles champion but not for the Intercontinental title!
A mixed reaction from the crowd as Miz carries on walking down the ramp and acknowledges.
The Miz: Because if anyone is going to take down John Morrison it is me!
Sami Zayn: Miz I mean no disrespect to you and I know why you want to get your hands on John Morrison, I know firsthand what it is like to be betrayed by a close friend…
The Miz has stepped into the ring joining Sami at this point.
Sami Zayn: But I’m not waiting in line for a chance to become champion. I’ve waited long enough for opportunities and you’ve had more than me.
Cheers for that line as Miz shakes his head not happy about that line.
The Miz: I have worked for every one of my opportunities even been kicked out of…
Sami Zayn: Miz spare me the speech I have heard it before.
Miz looks angry as he gets closer to Sami who carries on.
Sami Zayn: I know you prefer to talk but how about we settle this how it should be settled? Next week me and you, the winner goes after John Morrison!
The Miz glares at him for a few seconds before responding.
The Miz: You are on!
Miz drops the microphone glaring at Sami Zayn as Michael Cole on commentary confirms that the commissioner Wade Barrett has made the match official and on next week’s Raw, we will see The Miz taking on Sami Zayn with the winner fighting John Morrison for the Intercontinental title the week after. The staredown carries on between the two faces as we cut to a commercial break.

TEAM KICK! A pretty loud pop from the live crowd as TEGAN NOX and DAKOTA KAI head out slapping their hands with a few of the fans. The commentary team then tells us the duo has this to say after their win on the Armageddon pre-show last night!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We cut to the backstage area as TEGAN NOX and DAKOTA KAI stand in front of the camera with smiles on their face with Dakota speaking first for them.
Dakota Kai: Last night, we gave Franky Monet and Dana Brooke the kicking they deserved.
Tegan turns to Dakota.
Tegan Nox: Nice pun.
Dakota smiles as Tegan takes over.
Tegan Nox: Franky has been put in her place so it is time for us to get back to business and that brings us to the MMA Horsewomen!
Both women get slightly more serious.
Dakota Kai: We had our focus distracted a little but now we are coming for the pair of you…
Tegan Nox: And the tag team titles.
Both women high-five each other as cut back to the ring. Jinny starts for the House whilst Tegan Nox starts for Team Kick as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!
Match 4: Team Kick vs The House of Couture (Jinny and Amale)
Match summary: The House of Couture tries to use cheap tricks and teamwork to overcome the skills of Team Kick but the babyface duo is ready for every trick they try to throw at them and pepper their rivals with a series of kicks overwhelming them during this match. In the end, Dakota Kai hits Jinny with GO TO KICK whilst Tegan keeps Amale busy and Team Kick picks up another win!
Winners via pinfall: Team Kick (5:15)
Cheers from the live crowd as Team Kick stand tall in the middle of the ring and carry on their good form as of late. The commentary team wonders if they could be the next challengers for the tag team titles after the Great American Bash. As the commentary team speculates on what’s next for the WWE Women’s tag team titles we cut backstage as…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FRANKY MONET, JOHN MORRISON and ERICK ROWAN are all standing together looking at the camera with none of them looking happy.
Franky Monet: Last night Dana Brooke let me down.
Franky shakes her head annoyed.
Franky Monet: She is not on the level yet to become a star like me but that shall come with time.
She points at the camera.
Franky Monet: Team Kick, take the victory and enjoy it for now because I will always be on top in the end as I am a true star like my husband.
John though doesn’t even smile at that line as he is clearly pissed off.
John Morrison: I am a star but I’m not treated like one.
He shows his Intercontinental title front and center as he carries on ranting.
John Morrison: First of all my bodyguard fails to take care of my problems…
He side-eyes Erick Rowan who remains stoic and doesn’t react to the insult from Morrison.
John Morrison: But then I have a commissioner who shows me total disrespect and when it comes to who faces me for this.
He points to the Intercontinental title.
John Morrison: I beat Xavier Woods last night and proved that I am the champion this belt needs so you would think Wade would listen to his champion when he says Miz doesn’t even deserve a shot at this, wouldn’t you Franky?
Franky Monet: I would.
John Morrison: But you are smart and know how to treat a star.
The couple share a kiss before Morrison turns back to the camera.
John Morrison: Sami Zayn? He doesn’t deserve a shot either but he is at least someone new. The Miz? He is the past and I will not defend my title against him I can assure you.
He storms off with Franky Monet and Erick Rowan soon following them elsewhere before we cut to another area backstage and see…

Pete Dunne: You two might be able to accept how you lost but I’m not happy about it at all! He screwed me over and those broken fingers I gave to you and your girlfriend will be nothing compared to what I do next time I get my hands on you.
Trent turns to Pete Dunne.
Trent Seven: Now Peter…
Pete Dunne: I will not calm down.
Trent smirks wagging a finger.
Trent Seven: On the contrary my friend, I want you to channel that anger and use it later tonight when you fight Baron Corbin.
A match confirmed for later on in the show.
Trent Seven: And you remember what he said last week about Cruiserweights?
Pete Dunne: You don’t need to remind me.
Pete says that with a snarl as Trent remains smirking.
Trent Seven: Good, maybe teach him a lesson.
Pete Dunne walks off fired up as Trent turns to Tyler and the pair both share a knowing smirk as the show goes to a commercial break.

Loud boos from the live crowd as we return from the commercial break and JINDER MAHAL marches out joined by his henchmen THE SINGH BROTHERS! They taunt the crowd and hype up Jinder on the way to the ring as the commentary team reminds us this match was made last week after Jinder Mahal backstage taunted…
SAMOA JOE! A new theme song for Joe as he enters to boos from the crowd after his actions last night costing Brock Lesnar in his number one contender’s match with Andrade Cien Almas. He is also joined by the rest of THE HURT BUSINESS! MVP, LIO RUSH and ISAIAH “SWERVE” STRICKLAND are all in fancy suits as they follow their latest member. Samoa Joe steps into the ring across from Jinder Mahal as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!
Match 5: Samoa Joe w/The Hurt Business vs Jinder Mahal w/Singh Brothers
Match summary: Joe plows through Jinder Mahal with ease and lays into him as Jinder struggles to fight back. The commentary team reminds us that Jinder Mahal is a former WWE Champion but Joe makes this a one-sided beatdown. In the end, Joe locks him in the COQUINA CLUTCH! The Singh Brothers look to enter the ring to help Joe BUT SWERVE AND RUSH stop them as they beat down the Cruiserweights with ease! Jinder in the ring realizes his boys are not going to save him and taps out!
Winner via submission: Samoa Joe (4:19)
A mixed reaction upon the finish as the crowd hates Jinder Mahal way more than they hate Samoa Joe. On the outside of the ring Swerve and Lio Rush finish the beatdown of the Singh Brothers to join MVP and Samoa Joe in the ring. The commentary team put over how dangerous this unit is starting to look. MVP meanwhile asks for a microphone before returning to the middle of the ring looking to speak.
MVP: I know you people want some answers.
Montel smirks as Swerve off-mic says we don’t owe these people anything. MVP nods but carries on anyway.
MVP: Whilst Swerve is right, I want to tell you why Joe made the best decision of his career joining the Hurt Business!
Joe smirks as he stands behind MVP letting his manager speak for him.
MVP: I gave him what he asked for. I gave him an opportunity to fight Brock Lesnar again!
Joe nods as he takes the microphone from MVP and looks at the crowd.
Samoa Joe: I remember fighting Brock just over three years ago and coming this close to winning the Universal title!
He shows a small gap with his fingers and scowls as he speaks.
Samoa Joe: And even since then, there have been doubts on who the toughest person on this roster is, who the baddest is! It is me!
Joe points at himself screaming at the camera at this point.
Samoa Joe: I’m coming for everyone who tries to get in my way between now and Summerslam because Brock Lesnar…
Cheers for the mention of the Beast.
Samoa Joe: You want your revenge? Meet me there!
Joe passes the microphone to MVP who smiles.
MVP: Like I said, I get my clients what they want so…
He turns to Lio and Isaiah behind him.
MVP: What do you two want next?
Lio steps forward smirking as he looks at the camera.
Lio Rush: I was this close to getting that contract and being the number one contender for the Cruiserweight title. I lost because Ricochet was more interested in stealing the spotlight at the expense of me.
Boos from the crowd as Lio shakes his head.
Lio Rush: I’m not playing games no more. Ricochet I’m calling you out next week!
Lio passes the microphone to Swerve!
Isaiah “Swerve” Strickland: Unlike Lio, I don’t have a personal score to settle.
Swerve smirks looking at the fans.
Isaiah “Swerve” Strickland: People know better than to mess with someone like me.
Boos from the crowd as Swerve fist bumps Joe before turning back to the crowd.
Isaiah “Swerve” Strickland: When you can beat someone like Joe, you can beat anyone in the world and I intend to prove it!
Strong words from Swerve.
Isaiah “Swerve” Strickland: So someone step up to me next week! Or I’ll find someone to step on myself.
Swerve gets boos from the crowd as MVP now stands front and center in front of his group.
MVP: As you can see my boys are ready to fight. This is the Hurt Business and business is booming!
MVP drops the microphone bringing the promo to an end as the group stands tall in the ring. The commentary team wonders if this team is going to take over Monday Night Raw as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see LUCHA HOUSE PARTY walking through the back when they are approached by THE ONE TWOS! Neither team seems happy to see the other with Danny Burch speaking first to break the silence.
Danny Burch: Lince, your win over me was a fluke.
Lince scoffs.
Lince Dorado: Was it? I seemed to pin you uno, dos, tres just fine!
Oney now steps forward.
Oney Lorcan: Well how about we fight the pair of you next week and settle this?
Kalisto limps forward still feeling the effects of the ladder match from last night’s Armageddon.
Kalisto: Deal. We’ll go speak to Wade and see you next week!
Lucha House Party walk off as The One Twos glare at them as they leave and we cut elsewhere backstage…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
INSIDE THE UNGOVERNABLES LOCKER ROOM! We can see ZELINA VEGA and ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS standing on one side of the room whilst CESARO, ILJA DRAGUNOV and ANGEL GARZA stand on the other side of the room.
Zelina Vega: As we can see, Wade Barrett is already trying to screw us so you putting our tag team titles on the line against his two close friends is a horrible idea.
Cesaro rolls his eyes clearly not agreeing with Zelina.
Cesaro: I don’t plan on sitting on the sidelines.
He lifts his tag team title into the air.
Cesaro: I plan on fighting and proving we are the best team.
He looks to his tag team partner Ilja who nods agreeing with Cesaro.
Cesaro: I’ve beaten Sheamus before and next week we’ll beat him again.
Andrade Cien Almas: You better.
Cesaro: Or what?
Cesaro steps forward as he and Andrade lock eyes but Zelina steps in.
Zelina Vega: Andrade wants to make sure the gold all stays in our hands, no one else’s.
Cesaro smirks.
Cesaro: Andrade needs to worry about holding up his end before worrying about ours.
Andrade considers chiming back but stays silent as Angel speaks up.
Angel Garza: And how am I meant to defend my title with this?
He shows the broken fingers on his right hand as Zelina walks over to him and smiles.
Zelina Vega: We will work together to make sure you keep your title.
Cesaro: Andrade is not busy next week he should help.
Andrade pulls a look of disgust before responding.
Andrade Cien Almas: I will be preparing for a main event match. Something you know nothing about.
Cesaro walks forward but Zelina stands in between them!
Zelina Vega: We will discuss this during the week! Now both of you go elsewhere and behave!
Cesaro and Andrade both glare at each other before walking in different directions as Zelina Vega sighs and the show cuts to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we once again see RICOCHET hanging out atop a rooftop as he looks off into the distance.
Ricochet: Lio, what I did to you last night was nothing personal. You just happened to be the man there between me and making a moment.
He smiles.
Ricochet: But if you want to make a personal thing homeboy, I’ll be happy to see you next week.
He walks away from the edge of the rooftop.
Ricochet: But keep the rest of your boys in the back.
Ricochet leaves the screen and we can see a sunset in the background before we cut back to the ringside area…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the commentary team confirms that Wade Barrett has gone and made the match official for next week. We will see Lio Rush and Ricochet go one on one for the first time on Monday Night Raw next week.
Boos from the live crowd as BARON CORBIN marches out with his signature scowl on his face and taunts the fans on the way to the ring. The commentary team reminds us this match was made per Corbin’s request after comments mocking the Cruiserweight division and calling his loss a couple of weeks ago to Kalisto a fluke! He stands in the ring as he waits for…
PETE DUNNE to make his way out! He is also soon joined by the rest of BRITISH STRONG STYLE: TYLER BATE and TRENT SEVEN! The trio walk to the ring as Corbin talks a bunch of trash and tells Dunne to keep his friend in the back. Pete though ignores Corbin and slides into the ring CLOCKING HIM WITH A FOREARM TO THE JAW STRAIGHT AWAY! The referee then calls for the bell to get this match started!
Match 6: Baron Corbin vs Pete Dunne w/Trent Seven and Tyler Bate
Match summary: Pete Dunne keeps the fast-paced assault up in the opening moments of the match and just lays into Corbin with a series of strikes. Corbin does use his size to take back control of the match and Dunne is noticeably still feeling the effect of his title match last night but Dunne outsmarts Corbin by countering a DEEP SIX ATTEMPT INTO A CROSSARMBREAKER! He is wrenching back on the arm of Corbin who refuses to tap out… UNTIL DUNNE BREAKS HIS FINGERS! Corbin screams in pain and is forced to tap out!
Winner via submission: Pete Dunne (6:34)
Pete Dunne holds on for an extra few seconds to make Corbin suffer that little bit more before dropping his right arm to the mat and standing to his feet with a scowl still on his face. Trent Seven and Tyler Bate slide into the ring raising his arms into the air celebrating with him. The commentary team mentions that you do not want to get on the wrong side of Pete Dunne as tonight proved. As the celebrations carry on in the ring, commentary confirms we will see Piper Niven in action when we return from the commercial break.

Angelo Dawkins: This last month without my brother Montez has been tough.
He shakes his head.
Angelo Dawkins: Montez is my ride-or-die man. He is the one always by my side but after what Seth Rollins’s goons did to him, I don’t know when he will be back.
Angelo sighs.
Angelo Dawkins: So I either need to get a new tag partner and…
He pulls out a photo of him and Montez hanging out.
Angelo Dawkins: Montez is irreplaceable.
He puts the photo back away before speaking again.
Angelo Dawkins: And that leaves me with one option, singles titles.
He smiles slightly as he speaks.
Angelo Dawkins: But I have a long way to go before I am in contention for gold. I need to beat some names on Raw.
Dawkins puts his fingers under his chin and acts like he is thinking of something.
Angelo Dawkins: Now all I need is someone to issue a challenge to the roster…
He takes a moment to carry on pretending to think before stopping and smiling as he looks at the camera.
Angelo Dawkins: Swerve! I heard what you had to say and this is me stepping up. I’ll see you next week on Raw!
Angelo Dawkins walks off bringing the promo to an end as we cut to the commentary team at ringside.

Sheamus smiles.
Sheamus: Oh we are definitely getting that pint but you are not going to the ring alone.
Drew smiles.
Drew McIntyre: You think I can’t handle these two fellas by myself?
Sheamus shakes his head.
Sheamus: It’s not them I’m worried about. It’s The Ungovernables.
Drew nods agreeing with Sheamus’s point.
Sheamus: We know they love to pull the numbers game and I love a fight, so I’m coming to the ring with you.
Drew takes a moment before nodding.
Drew McIntyre: Let’s go together then!

Sheamus looks furious and chases Kenny around the ring but the cocky Cruiserweight manages to keep away from him as Sheamus stays ringside, just in case the Ungovernables pull anything.
