- Yeah Charlotte's arm is definitely destroyed and right before her title match at Starrcade for the WWE Women's Universal Championship against Shayna Baszler who is also one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions with Ronda. They destroy Charlotte's arm. That arm is definitely broken. Charlotte didn't she have a broken arm earlier this year? Was it the same arm that got injured?

- Charlotte is definitely out of action now especially after having her arm hit with a steel chair multiple times...that arm is definitely broken. But the question is how long will Charlotte Flair be out for?

- I find it hard to believe a guy like Mustafa Ali could take Omos out like that. Omos is a giant a Colossus and Ali takes him down like that with shots to the leg with a metal pipe. Then using a car door on Omos' leg to crush his leg. Well that's one way to chop a giant down to size.

- But then who replaces Charlotte Flair at Starrcade in the WWE Women's Universal Championship match?

- Ricochet wants to face The Enforcer, the muscle of The Hurt Business, EJ Nduka at Starrcade 1 on 1. What a match that'll be.

- Lio Rush of The Hurt Business defending his WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Tyler Breeze at Starrcade...Breeze winning a Fatal 4 Way to get that opportunity...yeah he is definitely going to have the odds stacked against him because when you fight 1 Hurt Business member you're literally fighting them all

- Goldberg literally dominated Xavier Woods...like that was pretty obvious that that was gonna happen but seeing Big E get destroyed too post match also by his hero Goldberg...this is a match I definitely cannot wait for

- Samoa Joe and McIntyre that's the real match that I can't wait for

- Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston is a match that I could watch over and over again but I just have a feeling Orton goes over at Starrcade beating Kofi. Why? After Orton punted Stone Cold Steve Austin in the skull...I just see Orton becoming like the Viper of old and he just starts punting people again and with Kofi I see him getting punted too.

Just to confirm Charlotte is not the superstar off the Starrcade match, she is going to be injured but she is not the superstar missing the show

Okay I see but even so Charlotte Flair is the walking wounded with that arm after it was basically destroyed by Baszler & Rousey. She's going to have to have that arm in a sling or in a cast because that attack was rough.

Randy Orton enters rehab!

Randy Orton has entered rehab and has been pulled from the Starrcade card! What this means for his planned WrestleMania match with Stone Cold Steven Austin is unknown but he will miss Starrcade and the Royal Rumble at least, potentially throwing the WrestleMania plans into disarray!

Mod note: A huge EWR injury there. Really does mess up a huge WrestleMania match if he misses WM but time to adapt.

Kofi Kingston vs Tommaso Ciampa signed for Starrcade!

Kofi online issued a challenge for anyone to step up and take Orton’s place after news broke that he would be missing Starrcade. Tommaso Ciampa would answer the challenge even after his street fight on Raw promising to show why he should be in line for gold in the coming months.

- Randy Orton was supposed to face Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 37 in Dallas/Arlington, Texas in the biggest most stupendous WrestleMania of all time at Cowboys Stadium...Jerry World but Orton entering rehab...did Orton sustain an injury and if he did, what kind of injury? Or is this a Wellness Violation for Orton?

- Yeah if Orton misses Starrcade and the Royal Rumble, he can still return after on the RAW after the Rumble or he can return in February. Plans don't really have to change especially if he is back by then. You can still have Orton/Austin at Mania.

- Kofi Kingston replacement opponent is Tommaso Ciampa...I mean we just saw what Ciampa was capable of when he just took out The Miz in that Street Fight. So Kofi/Ciampa as an alternative match I wouldn't mind that at all.

Starrcade 2020 predictions

Match Order Pre Show

- 1st- WWE Cruiserweight Championship- Lio Rush (c) vs Tyler Breeze (Winner: Still WWE Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush; Hurt Business is off to a winning start)

- 2nd- Ricochet vs EJ Nduka (Winner: The muscle, the enforcer of The Hurt Business EJ Nduka beats Ricochet here; continuing the Hurt Business' winning start to the pay per view

Main Card

- (Opener)- I Quit Match- Mustafa Ali vs Dolph Ziggler (Winner: Mustafa Ali; he makes Ziggler I say Quit which puts Ali over in this feud)

- 2- World Tag Team Championship- The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) (c) vs The Street Profits (Winners: Still World Tag Team Champions The Hurt Business; Shelton Benjamin pins Angelo Dawkins in the finish to retain the titles)

- 3- Rhea Ripley vs Natalya (MMA Horsewomen) (Winner: Rhea Ripley; Mami The Eradicator just showed up on the main roster; Natalya being a veteran puts Rhea over as a monster babyface; Rhea makes Natalya tap out to her submission finisher)

- 4- WWE Intercontinental Championship- Sami Zayn (c) vs Swerve Strickland (Hurt Business) (Winner: New WWE Intercontinental Champion Swerve Strickland; Swerve dethrones Sami Zayn with Sami losing the title; he won the title all the way back at WrestleMania 36 in this diary if I remember correctly? Hurt Business have all the gold on RAW)

- 5- Tommaso Ciampa vs Kofi Kingston (Winner: Tommaso Ciampa; his main roster push continues with him beating another former world champion in Kofi since he beat Miz

- 6- WWE Women's Tag Team Championship- The MMA Horsewomen (Ronda Rousey & Marina Shafir) (c) (Freebird rule) vs Team Kick (Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox) (Winners: Still WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The MMA Horsewomen; Ronda Rousey makes Tegan Nox tap out; Ronda being on the warpath after losing her WWE Women's Championship to Asuka takes her anger out on Nox)

- 7- Dream Match- Goldberg vs Mr Money in the Bank Big E (Winner: Big E; Mr Money in the Bank goes over his childhood hero in a passing of the torch; Goldberg and Big E shake hands post match as Goldberg raises Big E's arm pretty much passing the torch; this solidifies E as a main event guy in the company)

- 8- WWE Women's Universal Championship- Shayna Baszler (c) (MMA Horsewomen) vs Charlotte Flair (Winner: Still WWE Women's Universal Champion Shayna Baszler; makes Charlotte tap out and breaks Charlotte's arm for good measure since Charlotte's arm is already messed up)

- 9- Main Event- Last Man Standing Match- WWE Championship- Samoa Joe (c) (Hurt Business) vs Drew McIntyre (Winner: Still WWE Champion Samoa Joe; Hurt Business their dominance as a faction continues with them having all the gold)

- Predict the match order- DONE

- What will be the longest match on the card? It will be the main event for the WWE Championship inside Last Man Standing between Samoa Joe and Drew McIntyre.

- What will be the shortest match on the card? It will be Rhea Ripley vs Natalya

- Will there be any surprises? Or any returns? Yes there will be. As far as who the surprise will be? It will be a returning Bobby Lashley...we haven't seen Lashley in months in over and almost a year. Lashley returns as a RAW superstar and Lashley returns as a babyface showing up post match to confront WWE Champion Samoa Joe setting up Joe/Lashley for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. Especially since there are not enough babyfaces on RAW.

- Who takes the pinfalls in the Tag Team Matches for the World Tag Team Championship and WWE Women's Tag Team Championship? DONE...Angelo Dawkins gets pinned by Shelton Benjamin and Ronda Rousey makes Tegan Nox tap out.

Basically it is rehab according to EWR so could be out for 3 months to a year with how the game does it lol. February would be his earliest he is back but he could miss WM37

But going to rehab for a Wellness violation though? Really? At best that's 3 months you're missing not a whole year unless you are a major addict.

It's how EWR does it. It's between 3 months to 12 months.

Okay then fair enough but if Orton had to miss a whole year of action that's pretty messed up especially if he were to miss that whole year. But being out 3 months is nothing...because then by February you could still have that program with Austin because WrestleMania isn't until April anyway so.

Yeah if he is back for Feb he will be back in time for WM. Just going to be a wait and see situation

But if I had to do early predictions right now for Royal Rumble 2021 for the card itself

- 30 Man Royal Rumble Match

- 30 Woman Royal Rumble Match

- WWE Championship (RAW main event)- Samoa Joe (c) vs Bobby Lashley (return)

- WWE Universal Championship (Smackdown main event)- Aleister Black (c) vs Seth Freakin Rollins (if he's back by then) or Aleister Black (c) vs Roman Reigns

- WWE Women's Championship (Smackdown main event)- Bianca Belair (c; wins the title at New Year's Revolution) vs Ember Moon (heel)

- WWE Women's Universal Championship- Shayna Baszler (c) vs Sasha Banks

I just hope for the Royal Rumble PPV especially when it comes to the 30 Man and 30 Woman Royal Rumble Matches we find out just which entrants are in the ring for the longest time or who has the most eliminations or who each superstar gets eliminated by

But if certain faction members are in certain Royal Rumble Matches then that gives them a huge advantage or we could even see certain factions face off in the Royal Rumble Match itself and fans would eat it up

Smackdown Live
December 18th 2020
Indianapolis, Indiana

Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Smackdown Live starts with a cold open inside THE O.C. LOCKER ROOM! We can see KARL ANDERSON, LUKE GALLOWS, BUDDY MURPHY and BIG CASS hanging out in the background as FINN BALOR waits in the middle of the ring. The tension increases as AJ STYLES enters the locker room. Finn gets to his feet and confronts AJ straight away prompting Big Cass to step in between the two men stopping a fight from breaking out before the show can even begin. AJ tells Finn to reign it in but Finn calls AJ selfish saying thanks to him he will have to fight Gable.

AJ scoffs and calls Finn a coward. Finn looks ready to throw hands but AJ counters by asking Finn why he is so scared of fighting Chad Gable? Finn doesn’t answer but AJ presses, telling Finn he thinks the former rock n rolla has lost his edge. Finn disputes that but AJ tells him to prove it. Finn nods as AJ goes to leave but Finn says he needs to do the same. AJ looks back with a scowl before walking off, with the Good Brothers following as they will be competing in tonight’s opening match!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HALESTORM – MAYHEM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*OMEN IN THE SKY*

THE GOOD BROTHERS
march out onto the entrance ramp getting boos from the live crowd to start Smackdown Live. Corey Graves and Byron Saxton welcome us to the show in signature fashion before confirming we will start the show with a qualifying match for the tag team titles ladder match in two weeks. They also confirm that the O.C. has been banned from ringside for this match, something AJ had to agree to when negotiating for the Good Brothers.

*FAST LANE*

BORN TO FLY
make their way out onto the entrance ramp getting a decent pop from the fans. JEFF HARDY starts his signature dance leading MANSOOR to the ring, ahead of a big opportunity to get into the title scene. The commentary team mentioned that they have been teaming for a whole picking up a few wins but this is a big test against the Good Brothers tonight. Mansoor starts for them while Luke Gallows starts for The O.C. as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway.

Match 1: Qualifying match: Born to Fly vs The Good Brothers

Match summary:
Mansoor and Jeff keep the pace up during the match, looking to overwhelm the Good Brothers during the match. The Good Brothers meanwhile in contrast look to use their power to control the match and work as a team to isolate Mansoor as the match goes on even longer. Mansoor tries to stay alive in this match but as the match heads towards the closing stages, Mansoor makes it to the corner and tags in Jeff Hardy. Jeff is on fire once inside the ring, and lays into them to the delight of the crowd. Jeff would then pick up the win for his team hitting the SWANTON BOMB ON LUKE GALLOWS!

Winners via pinfall: Born to Fly (7:37)

Cheers from the live crowd as Born to Fly get to their feet with smiles on their faces. The duo dances to the delight of the live crowd, earning a big win tonight putting them in the tag team titles match in two weeks. The commentary team makes a comment about the history Jeff Hardy has in ladder matches and wonders what he will be willing to do to hold tag team gold one more time at this late stage of his career. The celebrations carry on as Smackdown goes to a commercial break.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ad break
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, we see HEAVY MACHINERY backstage and they are joined by the woman who helped them last week MANDY ROSE! Otis and Tucker thanked Mandy for having their backs last week. She says it was her pleasure, especially for a man like Otis. The friendly big man can’t help but blush before she says she just wishes she was able to actually stop Zelina’s schemes. Tucker says it wasn’t her fault and now they know they have someone else to watch for.

Mandy says she will find a way to make sure Zelina Vega knows not to stick her nose in their business anymore. Otis says that they will also get another chance to get their tag team titles back because they are fighting Morrison and Rowan next week. Tucker makes a comment about them two having someone else who loves to interfere. Mandy promises to be at ringside with them and will make sure it is a fair fight. The promo comes to an end with Otis and Mandy looking at each other with a slight smile.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*HEAD OF THE TABLE*

ROMAN REIGNS
marches out onto the entrance ramp and as usual, he is flanked by the rest of THE BLOODLINE! They slowly walk to the ring with THE USOS hanging back whilst JACOB FATU looks at the live crowd and snarls at them. The commentary team confirms his challenge to Edge has been made official and is signed for New Year’s Revolution, a PPV with a lot of history for the Rated R Superstar. Roman steps through the ropes and stands in the ring waiting for the crowd to die down slightly.

He tells the fans to acknowledge him getting loud boos from the fans in attendance before carrying on. He tells the fans that they can keep disrespecting him but soon he will have the Universal title around his waist, at the Head of the table with him where it belongs. The boos get even louder prompting a scowl from the Tribal Chief as he paces around in front of Jacob Fatu and The Usos. Roman once again expresses his anger at getting overlooked in his words feeling he should be fighting Aleister Black not AJ Styles.

Roman says AJ might be known as Phenomenal but there is only one Tribal Chief running Smackdown Live and people have forgotten! He lifts his finger into the air prompting the rest behind him to join him in the celebrations. Roman then says there is someone else who is trying to cut in line: Edge! A huge pop from the live crowd as Roman looks at the fans with disgust. He tells the crowd to keep cheering for him because maybe at New Year’s Revolution, he’ll end his career for good!

Loud boos from the live crowd for that line but Roman smirks saying he wants to respect Edge and normally he would. Roman looks at the crowd seriously for a moment as he brings up his own struggles to get back in the ring. He says he fought to make it back to this ring but unlike Edge, he never did it for these people! He scowls at the crowd who are loudly booing him but Roman tells the crowd he will destroy Edge and put himself back in the Universal title picture…

*METALINGUS*

EDGE
makes his way out onto the entrance ramp! He gets a huge pop from the live crowd, standing at the top of the entrance ramp as Jacob Fatu in the ring off-mic can be heard daring him to enter the ring! Edge shakes his head and tells Roman he might need to get his cousin under control. Fatu looks ready to explode but Roman puts a hand out to keep him calm. Roman says if Edge wants to say something to Jacob, he can come to the ring right now.

Edge says he will have to politely decline the offer. Roman scoffs and calls Edge a coward but the veteran makes it clear he wasn’t born yesterday; he knows all the tricks because he used to do them. He even says that he used to say other people were skipping the line when they hadn’t. A smile appears on Edge’s face whilst Roman scowls with Edge confused by Roman being silent. He says it is almost as if Roman knows Edge that what he is saying is true.

Edge tells us Roman can talk about belonging in the Universal title picture but you need to earn your way to the top. Roman smirks asking if Edge did in the past but Edge immediately counters with that in this era you have to if you want to get past him! Roman is looking furious as Fatu comments but Roman raises his finger stopping him. Roman finishes the promo saying his respect for Edge is keeping him on his feet for now but if he is not careful, he might find himself in trouble very soon.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ad break
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, we cut to a dark room as ALEISTER BLACK sits on a steel chair looking directly at the camera with the light focused on him and his Universal title around his waist. Black takes a moment before speaking. He tells the camera in tonight’s main event he removes a disease that has been plaguing him and his allies for months. A group who thinks they are led by God and the devil but instead are just led by ordinary weak men.

Black says he needs to comment on the greater potential threat: AJ Styles. He grabs hold of the Universal title and holds it up. He says AJ is willing to do whatever it takes and that desperation has risen as time has gone on. He tells the camera that time waits for no man and AJ knows he is approaching the end, hence relying on old friends. He tells AJ he will need to be truly phenomenal to take his Holy Grail from him and he needs to prepare to fade… fade to black!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*HEY BRO*

MATT RIDDLE
walks onto the entrance ramp getting a decent pop from the live crowd. He seems in good spirits as he looks to the crowd and slaps hands with a few of the fans before heading into the ring. The commentary team points out that Matt Riddle won’t just be looking to slow down Finn Balor and make it take as long as possible. He will be aiming for revenge after No Mercy where The O.C. attacked Riddle before the bell giving Finn a huge advantage.

*I AM DANGER*

FINN BALOR
walks out getting loud boos from the crowd. He has his signature leather jacket on and the United States title around his waist. He takes his time, keeping an eye on the ultimate bro. The commentary team points out that both the O.C. and Alpha Academy have been banned from ringside ahead of these beat-the-clock matches. Finn scowls as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 2: Beat the Clock challenge: Finn Balor vs Matt Riddle

Match summary:
Finn Balor comes out of the block full of aggression as he tries to put away Matt Riddle in quick fashion but Riddle survives the storm and even uses it to lock in a KNEEBAR ON FINN BALOR! Riddle tears away on the right leg and tries to force him to tap out… BUT FINN CRAWLS TO THE ROPES TO BREAK THROUGH! Matt Riddle though now has control of the match and starts to toss the United States Champion around the ring with a variety of suplexes!

Riddle is in total control of the match and Finn Balor has to focus on surviving instead of trying to win the match quickly. Riddle gets Finn in the middle of the ring and pummels him with a series of elbows but Finn just about survives. Matt though is ready to end this as he scoops Finn up… BALOR RAKES THE EYES OF RIDDLE! The referee screams at Finn for his actions but Finn hits a 1916! He drops Riddle to the mat taking a moment to rest by the ropes before climbing to the top rope and hits the COUP D’GRACE! Finn makes the cover and picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Finn Balor (8:28)

Finn Balor gets to his feet and limps slightly, still feeling the effects of being dominated by Matt Riddle during the match. The commentary team says the United States Champion would normally be happy to survive but instead, he will be angry, wondering if that will be enough for Buddy Murphy to defend for Finn later on tonight. Riddle shakes his head in disappointment in the ring whilst Finn sneaks away as Smackdown goes to an ad break.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ad break
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, we can see GRAN METALIK and ZACK RYDER sitting backstage in an office with the NXT CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE on the desk with WILLIAM REGAL standing behind it. He thanks both men for coming to this room and confirms on next week’s Smackdown we will see Gran Metalik defending his NXT Cruiserweight title with the winner advancing to the Iron Survivor match on NXT Takeover: Boxing Day!

Both men nod in agreement and shake hands with each other before returning to their seats. Regal lets the two men say a few words. Ryder says he cut weight to get under the limit to earn himself this opportunity and he wants to become a champion one more time in his long career. Gran Metalik keeps it short and sweet due to his limited English, promising to defend the title with honor and looks forward to fighting Zack next week on Smackdown, promising a great Christmas Day treat for the WWE Universe.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We then cut elsewhere backstage to see THE UNGOVERNABLES backstage getting some instructions from ZELINA VEGA! They are soon interrupted by KAYLA BRAXTON looking for an interview with the group! Kayla asks Zelina for her thoughts ahead of her clients having to put their WWE tag team titles on the line in a ladder match. Zelina says her clients are not worried and promise to remain at the top of the tag team division. SHINSUKE NAKAMURA chimes in promising to clip the wings of anyone trying to fly.

DOMINIK DIJAKOVIC rolls his eyes in the background with none of the other three seeming to notice. Kayla asks what the plans are for the newest addition to the Ungovernables. HUMBERTO CARRILLO steps forward and cockily says Zelina has big plans for him, already talking to Wade Barrett and Shawn Michaels about getting what is best for him, best for his future. Zelina ends the interview by telling Kayla she would like to see Mandy do that for her clients and leads The Ungovernables elsewhere backstage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, we get a hype video confirming that BRAUN STROWMAN will be returning to Smackdown Live! The video plays and it confirms he will return to the show in 2 weeks!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We then return to the ring as COREY GRAVES is standing there with a microphone in hand. He turns to the crowd and hypes them up as he points to the entrance ramp saying it is time to hear from the number one most streamed performer on Spotify BAD BUNNY! A pretty decent pop from the live crowd as the famous musician makes his way out and soaks in the crowd's reaction. He slaps the hand of several fans in the crowd, looking happy to be here before climbing into the ring and shaking hands with Corey.

Corey thanks him for appearing with Bad Bunny saying it is his pleasure. Bad Bunny talks about being a huge WWF fan growing up, watching it grow from WWF into WWE. He lists off some legends throughout the years: Stone Cold, The Rock, Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero before finishing with Booker T! He tells the crowd the reason he came to Smackdown tonight was to confirm he will be performing his new song: Booker T at the Royal Rumble!

A decent pop from the live crowd which brings a smile to the face of Bad Bunny. He points at the crowd saying he hopes they all tune in and promises a special performance just for them. Corey then asks Bad Bunny if he is thinking about stepping into the ring. He lets out a bit of an awkward chuckle but tells Corey it is something he has always dreamed of. He tells Corey it is something he will think about but he doesn’t want to hold up the show…

*THIS AIN’T NO MAKE BELIEVE*

JOHN MORRISON
walks onto the entrance ramp in his signature sunglasses getting loud boos from the crowd. He is joined by ERICK ROWAN and FRANKY MONET at the top of the entrance ramp. Morrison tells Bad Bunny that these fans didn’t come here to see him, they came to see a real star like himself. The fans obviously shit on that line as Bad Bunny in the ring almost looks baffled by Morrison’s claim. The A-Lister carries on and tells Bad Bunny that he could never get a woman as beautiful as his wife Franky, prompting a make-out session at the top of the entrance ramp.

Bad Bunny chimes in and tells the pair that he doesn’t think anyone came to see whatever these two want to do. Erick Rowan steps forward taking the microphone and tells Bad Bunny that he will treat the A-Lister with respect. Bunny says he didn’t come here for a fight but where he is from, you don’t back down from a challenge. Morrison steps forward and says maybe it is time to show Bad Bunny what happens when you step into their world. Morrison, Monet and Rowan head to the ring ready to attack him until…

THE BOSS ‘N’ HUG CONNECTION
makes their way out! SASHA BANKS and BAYLEY play to the live crowd, having fun with the live crowd on the way to the ring. The commentary team brings up their rivalry with the MMA Horsewomen and wanting to take all of their gold but reminds us that the MMA Horsewomen could lose all of their gold at Starrcade and it could be Team Kick defending the WWE Women’s tag team titles at New Year’s Revolution. Bayley steps into the ring to start for the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection whilst Tamina starts for the Bloodline.

Match 3: Number one contender’s match for the WWE Women’s tag team titles at NYR: Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection vs The Bloodline

Match summary: Bayley and Banks come into this match with a plan of attack, working together to keep Naomi out of the ring as much as possible and focus on the enforcer looking to take her down, seeing her as the weaker link in the Bloodline team. Naomi does enter the match eventually and tries to turn the tides but Banks takes out Tamina with a DIVING METEORA TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING! Whilst back in the ring, Bayley catches Naomi and hits her with the ROSEPLANT! Bayley makes the cover and picks up the win for her team!

Winners via pinfall: Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (6:32)

Sasha rejoins Bayley in the ring and the duo share a hug, having started to get used to working together as a tag team once again. The commentary team puts over how good these two are as a unit and wonders if either the MMA Horsewomen or Team Kick can stop the reinvigorated Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection from making it to the top of the tag team division.

She says she promises to leave a trail of bodies until she gets her rematch for the WWE Women’s title and that will start this Sunday at Starrcade. Once she is done with Team Kick she promises to break Bayley and Banks for good, ending them for good. Shafir steps in and says that she saw Belair stick her nose in their business. She promises that she now has a problem with the MMA Horsewomen and she will soon find herself regretting ever crossing them, saying she will destroy her next week on Smackdown!

*SHADOW OF DOUBT*

BUDDY MURPHY
walks out onto the entrance ramp getting boos from the crowd. He walks down to the ring and looks focused ahead of a big match with the number one contender for the United States title. The commentary team puts over Buddy Murphy’s rise over the last couple of years but he has been just short of winning gold. A win over Gable and maybe he can stake a claim to Finn’s United States title.

*ELITE*

CHAD GABLE
makes his way out to the ring getting loud cheers from the live crowd. KURT ANGLE comes out to the entrance ramp to give him some words before heading backstage. The commentary team says Gable is used to finding a way to win but he hasn’t been known for doing it at a quick pace and will have to find a way to put away someone who will be happy to run down the clock. Both men stand in the ring as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway.

Match 4: Beat the Clock Challenge: Chad Gable vs Buddy Murphy

Match summary:
Buddy Murphy in the opening stages of the match, rolls in and out of the ring looking to keep away from Chad Gable. Gable is frustrated by this and Buddy looks to use that to his advantage taking control of this match, laying in the aggression on the former Olympian. Chad fights through the pain and keeps an eye on the clock, starting to make a comeback with the match approaching the last three minutes, with Gable knowing the clock is ticking down.

Gable looks to target Buddy Murphy's right leg and tries to force him to tap out. Gable is relentless looking to rip the leg of Murphy apart but he refuses to give in even when Gable gets him in the ANKLE LOCK AND GRAPEVINES IT! Buddy keeps looking at the clock and Gable soon releases so he gives up on the ankle lock and hits the ANGLE SLAM! He then heads to the top rope and DIVES OFF HITTING A MOONSAULT! Gable gets a huge pop as he makes the cover 1 2 3! Gable wins in the nick of time!

Winner via pinfall: Chad Gable (8:25)

Chad Gable gets back to his feet getting loud cheers from the crowd as he now will get to pick the stipulation for the match at New Year’s Revolution. Gable carries on his celebrations in the ring before cutting backstage to see Finn Balor looking and he looks furious.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see BIANCA BELAIR walking through the backstage area when she is stopped for an interview by KAYLA BRAXTON! Kayla brings up the comments made by the MMA Horsewomen: Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir, promising revenge on her. Belair says the two of them can try stepping up to the E.S.T. but she is busy focusing on becoming WWE Women’s Champion. Kayla asks if she is ready for New Year’s Revolution but before she can answer, ASUKA appears!

She has a bandage on her arm, suffering the effects of her battle with Ronda Rousey to become the WWE Women’s Champion. She smirked at Belair and asked if she knew what she was stepping into the ring with. Belair doesn’t back down and keeps the confidence the crowd is starting to love her. She tells Asuka that she has been UN-DEF-EAT-ED since coming to Smackdown Live and she will carry it on at New Year’s Revolution. Asuka smirks and tells Belair she was once undefeated too.

Belair tells her it means Auska is beatable and Auska nods. The Empress of Tomorrow keeps smiling saying she knows what it is like to lose so it makes her even stronger to stop that pain coming back. Both women get in each other’s faces before they are attacked by THE IICONICS! PEYTON ROYCE AND BILLIE KAY LAY INTO THE TWO WOMEN KNOCKING THEM TO THE FLOOR! Peyton then takes the microphone from Kayla and demands they be treated with respect before walking off, leaving Belair and Asuka lying.

*FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES*

DANIEL BRYAN
makes his way out getting a huge pop from the live crowd. He is in a flannel shirt as he walks to the ring and slaps the hands of a few of the fans in the crowd. The commentary team wonders what brings Daniel Bryan to the ring, as he did promise to address the WWE Universe tonight. Daniel Bryan steps into the ring with a microphone in hand and gets ready to address the fans who all start to do the yes chant which brings a humble smile to his face.

Daniel thanks the fans and says one of the reasons he was able to come back from a potentially career-ending injury was you people. He soaks in the reaction from the crowd and takes a few moments before telling the crowd nothing can last forever. This prompts boos from the live crowd which Bryan shrugs in response to this before telling the fans he understands but he knew when he got the second chance to step back into the ring, his body would be on a countdown clock.

He takes a moment to take that in and says he knows he is closer to the end of his career than the start. He tells the fans he has no intention of ending his career tonight or any time soon getting loud cheers from the fans. He says he has his eyes on doing something that has eluded him his entire career: The Royal Rumble! A loud pop from the fans as Bryan talks about his history with the event and fans even hijacking two of them on his behalf prompting even more yes chants from the crowd.

Bryan tells the fans in the live crowd that it doesn’t matter what number he gets. He could be number one in the Rumble. He could even be number 30 in the match. But he will find a way to be the last man standing in the match and go to WrestleMania promising to become a World Champion one more time! Bryan drops the microphone and does the YES chant to the delight of the fans who join as the commentary team confirms the main event for the evening is up next!

*METALINGUS*

EDGE
makes his way out next getting the loudest pop so far. Edge and Owens share a moment, due to how big a fan Kevin Owens is of the Rated R superstar. The commentary team tells us Edge has a match lined up at New Year’s Revolution with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and he will be looking for a huge win to get a chance to earn back the Universal title that he lost to Seth Rollins at No Mercy.

*ROOT OF ALL EVIL*

ALEISTER BLACK
slowly marches out onto the entrance ramp getting a huge pop from the live crowd. He limps as he joins the rest of the babyfaces, with the Universal title draped onto his shoulder. He looks at them before leading them to the ring, with Edge and Owens noticeably looking at his title… and his injured right leg. The commentary team says Black is not 100% but he wants to end this war with the Church once and for all before he fights AJ Styles at New Year’s Revolution. Once they make it to the ring, Kevin Owens says he will start for his team whilst the self-proclaimed devil Karrion Kross starts for the Church as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Main event: The Church of Seth Rollins w/Scarlett Bordeaux vs Aleister Black, Edge, Kevin Owens and The Mysterios

Match summary:
Kevin Owens and Karrion Kross start laying into each other with hard strikes in the middle of the ring to start the match, brawling with each other early on in the match. For the next few minutes, it starts like a normal big multi-man tag on the main event of a weekly show with everyone getting some time in the ring except Aleister Black who is nursing his right leg. The match takes a turn though once The Church of Seth Rollins isolates Dominik Mysterio in their corner of the ring!

Dominik Mysterio tries to fight back but Kross and The Authors of Pain focus on hurting the young superstar, with Aiden English and Nathan Frazer chipping in to play defense. The babyface team on the ring apron gets frustrated, especially Rey Mysterio, who is watching his son get a beating during this match. The match heads towards the closing stages as Dominik finally makes his way out of the beating he is getting and makes the hot tag bringing THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION ALEISTER BLACK INTO THE MATCH FOR THE FIRST TIME!

Aleister might be limping as he enters the ring but the adrenaline kicks in and he starts to dominate the entire Church taking each member down and standing tall in the middle of the ring… UNTIL THE LEGAL MAN KROSS LOCKS IN THE KROSS JACKET! Black fights out of the hold and sends Kross back with the match having broken down. Kross tags in Aiden English as The Mysterios fight AOP out of the ring, Edge battle with Nathan Frazer… AS KEVIN OWENS STUNNERS KARRION KROSS! Aiden English is in shock… BLACK MASS! Black makes the cover and picks up the win for his team!

Winner via pinfall: Aleister Black, Edge, Kevin Owens and The Mysterios (13:13)

The crowd loudly cheers as Aleister Black gets back to his feet and celebrates in the ring with Kevin Owens. Kross is on the outside of the ring looking furious whilst Edge and The Mysterios re-enter the ring. The commentary team puts over the win and wonders if the Church is in disarray without their leader Seth Rollins. Aleister Black chooses to leave the others in the ring to celebrate and heads up the entrance ramp. He stands tall at the top of the entrance ramp lifting up his Universal title as Smackdown fades to…

CHOP BLOCK BY AJ STYLES TO THE RIGHT LEG!
