If floppy tits Ric Flair is in his 60's and still wrestles, I don't see how Taker needs to retire.

Hey guys. So don't you think Vince McMahon should retire? He is like 62 after all. I think he needs to give a younger guy the job.

McFly is clearly smarter than Vince. I say we hire him and let him get rid of the top stars, amirite?

I don't know what to contradict McFly first about, I mean, he even went as far as criticizing HBK vs Taker at one point. I don't know what else to say. Keep on going McFly, we all love you. Keep on showing to all of us why a guy would voluntarily enter day after a day a forum just to get bashed.

Guys, lay off the dude man. Stop having a pre conceived notion that what he says is stupid before you even read it. I actually agree with him. He should retire, not entirely because of this injury of course, but this should serve as a wake up call. His body is worn down by the years of work he has put in. I'm sure the WWE will keep him if he wants to work as a GM or a backstage role, but as far as wrestling goes, I no longer want to see him wrestle. His matches for the past 2 years have been good, but they only last 10 minutes at most! He can't go like he used to anymore, he's more succeptible to injury. It happens to the greatest of any sport when age catches up to them. They might still have the skill, but the body just doesn't let you do what you used to do anymore.

^Thank you man.

I liked how this thread went from me making a point that the Undertaker should retire to everybody on my case flaming me, and people chiming in trolling the thread.

^^You, sir, are in the very slight minority. Undertaker shouldn't retire just because a few people on the internet think he should. The man has done so much, been the longest tenured and has aged like fine wine. He deserves to call it quits whenever he decides to. He's like a Bret Favre, Shaq, Tim Duncan, Mariano Rivera and Randy Johnson; no one has the right to tell them when to shut it down and everyone should just either accept it or shut the fuck up.

Uh.. the point is, YOU DON'T KNOW HIS BODY IS WORN DOWN. All of you idiots read news reports and pass it off as fact. I've made this observeration (using my brain, imagine that) countless fucking times, the most notable of which was at the MSG Raw where there was reports everywhere of how Undertaker is severely injured and can't wrestle so would be dropping the title soon. Yet in the match, he's running perfectly fine and moving perfectly fine, I swear some of the internet fans, like nou said, are brain dead. Nou basically covered everything, but the fact is that there has been absolutely NO INSTANCES (EVER) where Undertaker has shown that he is injured, worn down, or can't work a match. 10 minutes? His match with Rey? The EC? SHAWN MICHAELS? Those went 10 minutes? You're Blue. Even the one with Swagger recently went over that mark and the countless tag matches he had while he was champion. Undertaker is fine, and in one of the only interviews he did he stated that if he really can't go anymore, he'll step away, which was a very nice notion to know. He said that if anyone he works with questioned his ability to go that he'd definitely retire. On that note, this whole report is probably bullshit as well. He barely took any impact. If diving out to the ring and landing on his neck barely phased him, I doubt some shitty senton from a 120 pound boyish man will hurt him. Undertaker is fine.

Kinda sounds a bit like you want him to retire because you don't want to see him wrestle anymore.

C'mon man. Favre might be the exception but most times, this guys just don't know that their time is up. Just ask Terrell Owens. Of course, his contribution to one company should mean that he gets a job for life, but maybe it's time someone tell him it's over.

It's not about his wrestling skills. He still has everything that made him great. But age catches up to anyone. Go look back on his matches from 5 years ago. back then he could still use his alethicism in his matches. Now he's going purely by skill. It's just like any sportsman. As they get older, they must rely on their skills more. He can't do it week in week out either. Look at how long he took time off after Wrestlemania. Perhaps him, the company and his fans should just accept that his tenure is coming to an end and not wait till an injury forces him to retire. Let a minor injury serve as a wake up call.

And dude, it's just a discussion. No need to get your panties in a bunch.

Kinda sounds a bit like you want him to retire because you don't want to see him wrestle anymore.

I want to see him wrestle at 100% where if they make him wrestle weekly for 20 minutes and is able to. I don't want to see a match where I can tell that it's shortened because he doesn't have it in him to carry off a long match anymore
