After Randy Orton's slow but very well executed face turn he was on fire, arguably the hottest thing in the WWE in the Spring and Summer, but over the last few months, every since he lost the WWE championship he has slowly began to lose his momentum. Now his reactions pale in comparison to what the were this past Summer and even two years ago as a heel. Now, with the potential Miz/Cena match and potentially a Barrett/Punk program going forward (I know it's early, but for the sake of this thread I'm gonna say Punk/Barrett will go on). There really aren't many options for him going forward as far as feuds goes.

What do you guys think about what is possible for Orton going forward?

You're suggesting Barrett/Punk after what Punk did to Orton at the Rumble?

Right now, I think the Nexus/Corre program is more likely to happen at Wrestlemania instead of Orton/Punk. Right now I see Orton being worked into the Miz/Cena feud somehow

Orton = boring

Period.

He's not a face or a tweener. He HAS to be a heel to have any semblance of a character or personality whatsoever.

Orton is still just as popular, if not, more.....but, as much as I like him, he's boring....I don't want to see the belt on him and it is going to be garbage if they keep the Orton/Miz shit going, with Orton eventually getting his belt back......seen it a million times, don't need to see it again, but, without having Orton on a quest for the belt, what else will they do with him? It's like they can't think of anything good for him besides constantly eyeing the belt.....He needs to take some time off, let fresh feuds happen, and come back when the WWE has something interesting for him.

I honestly can't stand the guy anymore. I think it literally happened over night for me. I remember sitting there one night watching RAW and saying.. "Ya know... I fucking hate him now." The whole anti-hero face thing just wore off really quick. Enough of the "slithering" and powerslamming and ect. ect.

He will be in a high profile fued....they will find a spot for him, he is still the number two face in the company.

Either;

Punk vs Orton
or
Cena vs Miz Vs Punk vs Orton for the title

Most likely Punk vs Orton singles match though.

I'm hoping to see Punk vs. Orton in order to keep each other out of the title picture for a while, though I don't necessarily enjoy the idea of having Cena back in the title picture (although Cena vs. Miz does tend to intrigue me). I really hope they let Miz hold the belt for more than half a year; especially if he can come out of a feud with Cena as the champion still.

But Orton, I'd like to see him vs. Punk, and hopefully with WrestleMania coming up they can do like years past where they actually let the feud escalate in brutality a bit (a-la the buildup with Triple H vs. Legacy).

I hope Orton suffers a career ending injury.

Orton decided he was above bumping for heels, and that his comeback segments should be the same thing every time, always with little to no emotion.

Lol, I remember one of the first big arguments I got involved in was a Cena-Orton argument. EVERYONE was on Orton's nuts. Cena is so much better than Orton in every aspect, better gimmick, better charisma, better worker. Everything. Punk could easily replace Orton as the no. 2 guy on the roster, face or heel.

Cena has been better than Orton since early-mid 2005 imo.

The only time Orton has interested me (moreso than just wanting to see him get beaten up) since 2005 was his feud with Taker, but even that feud was hindered by Bob Orton.

Ive actually firmly sided with cena on the whole orton/cena debate at this point in just about every way possible. Cena/miz and cena/punk both sound far more appealing than orton in either scenario.
