^^^^So fucking what???

If you can accept Rey as a lovable underdog babyface, why not Miz as the annoying against-all-odds heel?

Why? ...Cos when it comes to this subject you're full of shit .

Because such a heel character has never existed. With good reason, ITS COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE.

Rah, rah, rah.... You were originally complaining about the fact that he hadn't beat Orton clean. THAT is down to booking. Try and keep your focus.
And in this particular piece, I was referencing how he looks on screen. Try and keep up, I know it's hard.

...The point of all that was?

:yaaaaaaaaaawn:

First it was his size, then it was the lack of clean finishes to his matches, then his move-set and now it's his size again and the fact that he's not a 7ft babyface... Stick to the topic or don't bother replying. ----->

When did I ever say it was a huge deal he never beat anyone clean? It's, as I've said, what he carries himself as. He can't pull off an "against all odds" heel that's not a heel, that's a babyface. A heel always has some kind of advantage in every feud he has. What advantage does Miz have over anyone? Oh yeah, that's right, none, unless you call his "valet" an advantage, that'd be the only thing.

I liked Orton alot better when he was the cocky legend killer. This Apex Predator thing has gotten stale on me the last few months or so.

This is pretty much what I feel. The Viper character was awesome when it started, and it had lots of potential to be an all time great character for the WWE, but once he got the WWE title was really when he got extremely boring. He was never the most exciting champion, but I thought that with the new character it could give him an interesting run as champion. But the WWE went proto-face on him and it has been downhill from there.

I actually can't blame the booking here as much as I normally would. Cena has had some pretty mundane booking of the years, but he's carried himself fantastically in the ring enough to keep him entertaining. Guys like Austin, Undertaker, Triple H, and Cena have all been booked perhaps to look stronger than the IWC would like (because of course we know how to sell a product), but they managed to remain entertaining for the most part. There comes a point when we have to question the tendency to automatically blame booking and conclude that maybe Orton just isn't good right now.

I think it's funny that Orton was so "good" when he was taking on the bane of the IWC, ie Cena, and now that he's in programs with scrubs like Sheamus and ______ (I wont say his name because apparently it's illegal in an undesignated thread_+)who happen to be people everyone loves, he all of a sudden sucks. The only "Ooober face" thing about him is his crowd reactions. He doesn't act any differently than he did when he was a heel, in fact, I'd even argue he does even MORE heelish things as a face because the majority of people love it.

Lol, I remember one of the first big arguments I ever had when I first got here was with some tools who were trying to claim Orton carried Cena during their Summerslam 07 match. I'm far ahead of the curve when it comes to pointing out someone sucks. Kind of like with the "Christian will be world champ", TNA love fest that went on early last year, the Matt Hardy lovers. Pulling the hate bandwagons...

^^^You're FAR from alone there.... Must be outta ya mind to have EXPECTED any of that shit.

The Miz must be doing a GOAT type of job as a heel if he riled him up so damn much lol.

Kerching! ...Bullseye! ...Booyaar! etc.

...And the denial of this is responsible for all the stoopid, evasive and reactionary shit he's spouted on the subject.

How in the fuck!?! LOL I'm not the biggest Cena fan in the world, but he made that match what it was. Orton doesn't have the skill to carry ANY-fucking-BODY lol.... But depending on how long ago it was, I may have been one of them when I was a blind Cena hater lol (my how the times have changed).

I'll just state for the record that SP and I have been on the Orton hate bandwagon since the very beginning, so this is nothing new. The guy is just flat out boring.

Pretty much. I'm not blaming booking at all. Creative has been making the guy look good but now I'm feeling the same way I did when Edge was SD's face last year. His backstage interviews/promos are all the same. He isn't the controversial face that I thought he was going to be either. This is the first time when I sigh relief when I see Cena instead of Orton.
