I will start. Action is my favorite followed closely by SciFy.

I love all the guns, crap being blown up, ships flying in space, and aliens.

A little bit of Comedy but I'm a Horror guy all the way. Been a Horror fan since I was about 6 or 7. Halloween was the first Horror movie I ever saw. That's probably why it's my favorite off the times.

I'm an action, sci-fi and comedy man myself. According to my Netflix account, I like movies with a strong female lead too, but I think they've miscalculated something somewhere.

Horror or more specifically Slasher films. Ever since I can remember I've been addicted to slasher films. Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street are among my favorite franchises of all time. I especially love the films that came from the eighties like My Bloody Valentine, April Fool's Day, The Burning and so many more. It's a dying breed unfortunately. It's very rare these to get a good slasher film made now or at all.

I love Resident Evil. Both the films and the games.

I watch both, but the Alien movies are up there on that list as well.

I love every genre of film equally, so to pick one as my favourite is very difficult. I'd lean towards documentaries, since I like to learn new things and have my mind challenged. Plus they are excellent to have on in the background if I'm working, which I usually am. So yeah, I'm saying documentaries with a nod to action, horror, sci-fi and all the rest of those genres as well.
