Re: UFC 149: Aldo vs. Koch

Alves is officially out of his fight. Just when this card gets decent it all gets fucked up due to injury. :fp:

Only thing that would make up for any of this is if they put Machida on this card to fight Shogun, and put Gustafsson up against Ryan Bader on the Fox show.

Thiago Silva is one injury prone bastard. I felt this card was pretty underrated but now ugh they better fix this up. At least Big Nog is on the card!

Re: UFC 149: Aldo vs. Koch

I'm hoping they'll shuffle some things around and do Shogun vs. Machida III. I know he's on the Fox show in August, but I'd rather see Alexander Gustafsson fight Ryan Bader than Machida. Likely won't happen, and they'll end up doing Shogun vs Gustaffson.

Re: UFC 149: Aldo vs. Koch

Shogun v Gustafsson would be legittttttttt.

But it probably won't happen because Shogun will get injured :/

If Sonnen or Silva pull out now I'll prol just go and kill myself ffs.

Same. So many injures in the last month, it's been annoying as hell.

Here's the list of injuries from the last month that have fucked up a fight

Dominick Cruz
Vitor Belfort
Thiago Silva
Thiago Alves
Yoshiro Akiyama
Gabriel Gonzaga
Mark Hunt
And just today: Jon Fitch

Re: UFC 149: Aldo vs. Koch

Terrible string of injuries for UFC, surely this is the end of it, they need a turn of luck.

Even with the injuries I still think that this is a decent card the three fights remaining all interest me. The fight I am most looking forward to is the Bisping fight.

Re: UFC On FX 3: Johnson vs. McCall II

This show is coming up this Friday, looking forward to it. Johnson/McCall will deliver regardless of what everybody else thinks. Troy if you see this can you get some Vbookies up for this?

UFC 146 Does 580K PPV Buys

Preliminary numbers for the 5/26 show were estimated at between 560,000 and 580,000 buys, which shows that the big shows are still holding up even with ratings down. For comparisons with numbers we’ve had in the past, this is a worldwide figure and we usually have North American figures. That was very slightly ahead of most expectations going in."

Really good number here especially considering all of the changes to the card and the fact that Television ratings have been down and what not. UFC has to be very happy with this.

Think this shows that the die hard MMA fans are still around too.

Damn, Wineland and Jorgensen just had a war. Was hoping Jorgs would get the win, but he got KO'd.

Mike Pyle gets an awesome KO win over Neer, 2 pretty good fights so far. Quick KO's but still awesome.

Re: UFC On FX 3: Johnson vs. McCall II

Yeah the Flyweights leave it all out there and just stand and bang, i hated the idea of them at first but they've been pretty good so far. Johnson won that fight pretty cleanly, McCall didn't show up at all tonight.

Anyways here's the fight night bonuses:

Wineland/Jorgensen get FOTN, Pyle takes home KO, and Silva gets sub - 40K each
