Easily one of the worst booking decisions in WWE history. I'm hoping something strange happened and Undertaker called an audible in the ring or something (although I can't think of a reason why, but if Taker was sent to the hospital immediately afterwards for real, that might have something to do with it) because otherwise, I can't conceive of the idea that Vince thought this would actually be a good idea. I know Taker has creative control over the Streak, but I can't believe they'd still allow him to give it up to a guy who is only around part-time. What a waste of a twenty year streak.
Not a waste at all. It was obvious that Taker didn't want to retire with his streak still intact. Also, what bigger force or kayfabe entity is better than Brock to take it? Brock is now easily the most powerful heel force they have; did you see the reaction last night? It was fantastic. Regardless of whether he is part-time or not, he can provide some even better moments now this has happened, and if he ups his dates a bit then we have so much to look forward to with Brock Lesnar. Imagine the rub someone is going to get by BEATING this man? Reigns for example...

slightly off topic, when is Reigns gonna start rocking TRUNKS again? My body is so ready.

Taker looked like he was about to die and wasn't even trying anymore, so I can easily see this being a botch/audible.

Brock beating Taker is supposed to be the biggest moment in wrestling history? In theory maybe, but certainly not in execution lmao.

Regardless of how bad the match was, still The Streak innit. 20+ years of build for that moment.

I was never as impressed with the idea of the streak as a lot of people. Hell, WWE didn't even start bringing it up until he was already like 13-0. So maybe ~10 years of build at best.

Brock might be the only guy in the roster who isn't a wrestling geek/fan at heart.. I'm sure taker had been wanting the streak to end for a while, but all the HHHs, Kanes, and Michaels didnt dare touch it.. Brock was probably like, "eh, sure, why not.."

So, I woke up this morning (got myself a gun), and got legit shocked for about five minutes after seeing that Lesnar went over Taker. I even had to triple check the results, heh. Huuuge surprise. With this kind of rub he just got, Lesnar better stay in WWE for the next 10 years with at least 30 dates per year booked. I mean, Jesus... We're talking about the biggest putover of modern wrestling, right? Sheeeeeit! That's why I prefered Wyatt, Ambrose, Reigns or someone else smashing The Streak, because those guys should/could wrestle for WWE 10-15 more years. I'm not sure if this was the right call by Taker, only time will tell, like usual.

Also, what does this say about the Sting rumors?

I'm guessing Sting's interaction with The Undertaker will happen tomorrow on RAW as it's obvious he'll have some shape or form of a sendoff.
Does anybody think this could make a Sting return even more likely? I wouldn't be surprised if Taker wants to have a WM match build that isn't completely focused on the streak, is less predictable (seems silly saying that after last night, but people were indifferent throughout the build and th match because it seemed predictable) and it can be focused on legend vs legend. I don't want to see it, but it doesn't seem anymore unlikely to me than it did before last night.

I think it's kind of obvious that The Undertaker will have some send-off on RAW and people while he goes onto leave, Sting will come out to stop him. Just a thought.

Result was spoiled for me but either way it's disappointing and a waste of 24 years. (He missed 2 events).

Match was terrible as well.

Bork's not going to do anything bar boast. Like, he couldn't beat Cena and H but can beat Taker at Mania. Should've retired unbeaten.
