The match was shit. The build was shit. Why Lesnar? Why didn't it main-event? Strikes me as a terrible decision but we'll see what explanation they have.

They have a dilemma because no one wants to see Taker retire after that match but no one wants to see him wrestle again, it was that bad. Fuck Sting.

As I have read many other people saying and I agree with... WWE most likely had almost nothing to do with the outcome of the match.. Taker is ready to retire, he wanted Brock to end his streak, they decided it was time... and now it's done. Thank you Taker for some awesome memories, including the last one tonight!

I thought Brock's offense was completely neutered. Taker is a brittle old man and Lesnar was handling him with kid gloves. He didn't put a beating on him like he did Cena or HHH.
True, but the premise was that he was beating him down with punches, and although it didn't look half as brutal as it did with Cena or HHH, it was watered down due to Taker's age. No idea why, considering HHH could last it, but hey, at least Taker sold them.

Taker didn't have to sell anything, he was about to pass out due to exhaustion. Pretty easy to make it look like shit hurts when your old bones are aching to the core.

the Punk match was dog shit. So were both HHH matches frankly.

The Brock match just took the idea of a dogshit Taker Mania match to another level though.

True point, but I really don't see why Taker has such a problem doing part time gigs when HHH is only 4 years younger and still does them without getting himself hurt.

He needs to go back in time and retire after beating Punk last year and spare us all the match we just witnessed tonight.

He should have retired after "the end of an era" match, imo. "End of an Era", two older dudes + retired Micheals, round solid number at 20, fuck CM Punk , etc. Was a rally good way to go out on a high note and such.

How does Punk get a 9/10? lmao
HHH 3 was better than that match. If anyone actually thought that Punk was going to break the streak... I can't even say it.

Taker has been in the business a full decade longer. That's a lot of extra wear and tear. Plus the big guys tend to slow down quicker.

True, but he shouldn't be worn down THAT easily, especially on a part time schedule. Maybe I'm expecting too much outta him.
