Bork's not going to do anything bar boast. Like, he couldn't beat Cena and H but can beat Taker at Mania. Should've retired unbeaten.
You could do that with anyone who could potentially break the streak.

"LOL Cena? Couldn't even beat DB at Summerslam but he breaks the streak?!"

you just sound pathetic mate.

Well, it was painfully obvious in the match that Taker was done. Brock wasn't doing any big moves on him while Taker was doing very little himself. It was really boring (may have been me being deflated from the previous match, but still) so it was probably time for him to go.

Anyway, I'm 100% convinced this was Taker's call. He wanted to put someone over on the way out the door because it was the right thing for business... hell, much of his career was like that. He's been in so many shitty feuds with so many guys who are beneath him throughout the years, it was unbelievable. And Taker just nodded his head and tried to get as much out of whatever he did as he could. So thank you, Taker. Thank you for having such a great attitude and giving your all to help the wrestling business, and helping yourself in the process. Assuming you're retiring, pro wrestling is definitely worse off without you, buddy.

*avoids bitching about Brock winning*

Don't shoot the messenger :stopspot:

The messenger has already been shot. :pipebomb:

That was just how I feel on the situation in general (at least now), just very grateful for what he's done, even if done in a pointless way that Mean Mark will never read. :lol1:

Well, I just fucking hope brock lesnar becomes a regular now after this, otherwise it would be a complete waste to have him end the streak. Oh well, I was pretty shocked with the result, but I was more pissed off because the match sucked than anything else. As for the result, well, Kayfabe-wise it makes perfect sense, but If brock doesn't use this meanacing character to push younger superstars or at least make great storylines, it will feel really pointless.

Edit: On a sidenote, I really enjoyed the reactions of Brock Lesnar and paul heyman post-match, Paul heyman's shock being particulary fun to watch

This makes about as much sense as making fun of someone for crying over a movie, when they know that's fake and scripted as well. There's nothing wrong with becoming invested in something just because it's fictional.

Blah the result was filthy, I'm happy for Brock if he becomes a full timer but should that not be the case, a part timer ending such a streak like that is completely uncalled for and horrible for business, that could've been used to put someone over who was young and establish them in the company...
