What if you run a wrestling company... You needed to hire 10 IWF Members... Who would you hire to help start up your company???

Top 5

Jmay - Mi Familia. Me and him are on the same sheet of music when it comes to wrestling. Very hard working. All around good guy
Kaedon - As much as we debate and don't see eye to eye, he would play a very important role within my company. He see's wrestling as a business and a form of entertainment. I would call him #2. I would use him in terms of marketing in different directions. Pretty much all around help with the organization
Dipset/Soulpower - Scouting and Road Agents. Looking at the current talent, seeing how they can get better. Searching for new talent that fits the bill. How to get the most out of the wrestlers.
Y2Jasmine - storylines. I like her storylines and she can give a female perspective on things.

I've given this some more thought, and i came up with two more of the remain 5 spots.

Chessarmy - He's looks at wrestling in 2008. He understands its not the 1990's. I think his new era perspective will come in handy. He would also be used to increase web presence. Website, message board, you tube, Pod cast, all will be used.

Snackz- Every company needs some bad ass gfx. Who better than snackz? DVD covers and posters. Making these eye catching improves the overall product.

Jimmy Jacobs is the wrong example. He can get heat quite easily, so there's another one. How about Jimmy Rave? Here's a man lacking charisma, and mic skills, yet has a look and inspired near crowd riots, and every night was tp'ed to death in the ROH ring.

I actually thought Jacobs was a great example. I just meant every wrestler is different. Someone like a Jimmy Rave might be better suited for WWE. He has a "pretty boy" look to him. Every wrester is being rated on various different things. The wwe scouts knows what it likes. When they scout, there scouting for certain things. Sometimes they might be looking for high flyers, other times big guys. I think Jimmy Rave can become a real star in the business. He's just missing a little something.

And on Morrison, have you seen this guy live? Half the crowd are cheering as loud as the other half are booing. As Nitro he played a more serious role, kinda like HBK did back in the day. And there is a face turn coming. I remember a tag match on SmackDown, he just stood there and belittled Yang and Moore. Even broke out a great line at Moore, "Nice hair. That's why you're a virgin!". Now that's entertainment, it wasn't on the stick, just out of the blue. You can't teach that. Back to Rave and Jacobs.

Well, i seen him live, but not up close or anything like that. I still liked the nitro gimmick. I thought he did it perfectly for that point in his career. He had that style in OVW, as a tag MNM team. I still think a Nitro face turn would have been best.

I've seen some Jacobs' backstage stuff. Great, but he's still in the same emo character. Where can he go from here? He'd done it for almost his entire career. I'm not saying it's time for a change, just something different to showcase this "talent" is in order.

Good question. Does he need to go anywhere though? I think he can pull off a face character very well. I also think Jimmie jacobs may be a future ROH world champion. I'd hate to see Jacobs leave ROH, too early. I think he's got a lot more ground to cover in ROH.

What do you make of a Flair vs STING 2009?????

I don't think its going to happen, and it will be a shitty match if it does. Flair had a storybook ending to his career, why would he throw that away for Sting. I think flair is done wrestling.

have you seen bret Hart vs 123 Kid from Raw 11/7/1994(u.s 7/11/1994)?
(i seen it, i think it's waltman best performance)

Do you think jerry Lawler could of been huge in WWE if he was hired back in the 80's?

do you think RVD is the Most successful wrestler to come from the old ECW???

Yes sir. I'd have to agree. Don't tell anyone this, but i actually liked the 1-2-3 kid back in the day. He was really good in the ring, and brought something new to the wwe. I want to say he was the first guy to do a moonsault in the wwf. I dont remember exactly how i'd rate the match itself, but i remember it was a good match. Its also on the best of raw (15 years) Dvd for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Do you think jerry Lawler could of been huge in WWE if he was hired back in the 80's?

Nope. The wwe was all about looks and size in the 80's. Over the top gimmicks. At the most Jerry Lawler would have been on the honky tonk man level. Plus they had The Macho King, and King Haku, and King harley race in the wwf. Lawler would have been considered just "another king" But to think he would have been huge would be a pretty big stretch.

do you think RVD is the Most successful wrestler to come from the old ECW???

Hmmm, This is ALL about the wording to answer this Question. I'd def. say RVD is the most accomplished. As far as most sucessful, I think The Dudley Boys were a little more sucessful in the long run. When you talk about the best of ECW, you HAVE to mention TAZ and Sabu. They were the two cornerstones of ECW. I think TAZ was the most sucessful in the ECW years. Sabu is a legend in this business. I think your ranking the "all time greats" I think Sabu might come in ahead of all the other ECW stars.

Nice to see a ECW question. For those that don't know, I tried to follow ECW as much as i could, even from the very early days. I was pretty young at the time. I saw a Taz/Sabu table match from some oddball indy company on a local channel, and was instantly impressed. From there i found out those guys wrestled in ecw around 94-95, and began setting the vcr at 3-4am in the morning to catch hardcore tv. The problem with that was, the time kept changing. ECW was pretty hard to follow. ECW for that era was ground breaking. Looking back, its not nearly as impressive, but i was certainly a fan of ECW, about as much as i liked the wwf during those times. WCW was a joke to me. Even at a very young age, i was pretty into behind the scenes stuff in the wrestling world.

Just letting you know. Lanny Poffo (Randy Savage's brother) was the first one to do a Moonsault in WWF, not 1-2-3 Kid

I stand corrected.

Interesting. I really haven't seen him wrestle, except for the Genius character. He looked to have zero talent, but i guess earlier when he was Leapin Lanny Poffo did. I read he was a jobber though. Why would they let a jobber use such a high risk move in the 80's. Kind of surprising. I wonder what kind of moonsault it was. If you have a video i'd like to see it.

oh i didnt mind 123 from 93-96..

I use to like ecw... But my problems with it was. there was alot of spotfest matches, New jack wrestling, a lot numerous amount of hardcore weapons shots and just no selling or anything.... But a couple fo the shows were good.. I do have a bunch of super shows/PPV of ECW 93-2001 era...

When WCW/ECW died in 2001, Which wrestlers that didnt get writting contracts to WWE, That you were happy about not seeing wrestling in the mainsteam?

(well, for me: New jack, Lex Luger, The Demon, Norman Smiley, Judge jeff Jones, Jason, Kwee Wee, the wall, Vampiro, Lou E. Dangerously......that's all i can think of atm)

since we are talking about Poffo

here is him/mr perfect

If ECW hadn't gone under in '01, and had actually recieved a $20 million from an anonymous source, would they still be here today? Would they're talent wrestling in WCW and WWF/E, plus the indies, come crawling back?

EDIT: Here's some Leaping Larry back in the day. Couldn't find a moonsault though

Yeah, looking back it wasn't really all that great. But at the time even the spotty hardcore stuff was pretty cool. At least to me. It was like a Rated R verison of the wwf. It had great booking, and good storylines.

When WCW/ECW died in 2001, Which wrestlers that didnt get writting contracts to WWE, That you were happy about not seeing wrestling in the mainsteam?

Shouldn't the question be, who should have got contracts...anyways.

Heres who im glad...

- Kanyon
-Crowbar
-Lenny Lane
- Lodi
-Greg valentine
-Rick Martel
- Rougue bros
- The Demon
-Harris Twins
- Brian Adams
-Bobby Duncum Jr.
- Kendell Windham
- Chris Candido
- Meng
-Disco Inferno
- Hugh Morris
- Reno
-Mike Saunders
-Keewee
-The mastero
- Mike Jones (Virgil)

I would have liked to see them add:

- Ernest Miller ( As a wrestler)
- David Flair ( Storyline reasons)
- Lash Laroux (Give him a shot)
- Kaz Hayashi
- ALex Wright

(OK, not the most talented guys by any means....but for some reason or another i thought they had a little potential)

If ECW hadn't gone under in '01, and had actually recieved a $20 million from an anonymous source, would they still be here today? Would they're talent wrestling in WCW and WWF/E, plus the indies, come crawling back?

Hmm, If WCW folds, than YES. What i think would happen, is we would see grab a few of the big name WCW guys, which they could afford and give it another go. The question is, if that were to happen, would TNA/ROH be here today?? I doubt ROH would be around, if ECW was still alive, since its top pieces were apart of ECW. So lets say ECW grab MIke Awesome, Jimmy Wang, AJ STyles, Paul London, Lance Storm, Shane Douglas, vampiro. Well, they would at least get those guys. THen theres your big name WCW guys Hall, Nash, Bagwell, Booker T and im not sure who else might be on the fence about signing. None the less, it'll make ECW a lot stronger and faster.

If they made the right moves from that point, if could still be here. If they made some bad moves, i dont think so. Even Heyman said he was getting tired and wore out with his schedule with ECW.

I think the talent that was in WCW if folded would go back to ECW. THe talent in the wwe would likely stay put unless it wasn't used right.

I think if we saw ECW programming where Nitro was, and ECW had its originals, plus new talent, I think it could have been round 2 of the monday night wars. That is a lot of "IFs" but i felt the programming and storylines in ECW was just a more appealing show.

I kinda hope a similar situation with TNA/ROH happens (Or they join forces) I think if you put TNA wrestling on monday night, i think it would give raw a run for its money. I've said this a while now, if TNA moved to Monday, the rating would jump up. THe problem is, TNA is slightly afraid of the wwe. I also think if you had a ROH show with TNA talent on monday, i think it wouldn't take all that long, before Raw gets beat. Even if it didn't win in ratings, just knowing you have the better show means something. (all wishful thinking)

Bonus: Why i rated HBK vs Jericho Ladder Match only ***1/2?????

I see to be one of the few people rating this match low. Heres why i rated it, where i rated it. (I only watched it once, but still) Im not saying it was a bad match by any means, i just had expectations that weren't that high, and i still don't think they lived up to it.

- Slow start , If this being such a highly personal fued, these two stood around as the introductions were announced and it seemed like they lost some emotion in the opening minute or two. Then they kick it off with headlock and armbars.

- Slow match.... Lots of down time in this match. It felt there was a minute between every big move.

- Only 1-2 big spots - for a ladder match, the spots sucked. One good spot off the ladder on the table, then jericho big drop to the outside, which actually was a bad spot imo cause he could have really gotten hurt falling the way he did.

- The finish - i hated the finish. I was ok wiht HBK superkicking Cade as jericho grabs the belt, BUT then they had HBK and Jericho duke it out on top. It made it felt the match was going to keep going, but it just ended with a weak punch from jericho, that was it. Seem kinda lame to me.

- Ladder shots - They basically threw the ladder at each other the whole match. Not a lot of different offense and creativity. Kaedon liked it, because it felt like a "shoot" ladder match. But i mean, I've never seen a real fight involving a ladder, so the shoot reasoning, doesnt really fly in my book.

- Comparing it to other ladder matches , Folks this isn't the first ladder match. I think just watching the ladder matches themselves, this ranks towards the bottom. Certainly just the fact HBK vs Jericho is in it, makes it not the worst, but the quality of the match itself was poor.

Again, it wasn't a bad match. I think these two just have much better chemistry in a wrestling match. With these two being submission specialist, a I Quit match would fit perfect. There really wasn't any near falls in the match. The fans couldn't really get behind HBK much in the ladder match. I thought HHH/Hardy had a very good climax and was the real match of the night. Overall No mercy wasn't bad. I thought last years was a little bit better. This years, wasn't bad by any means.

Montana, interested in a little bit of fantasy booking?

Vince has to eventually stop running the company. The guy isn't going to live to 212, so, who would take over? Shane O'Mac? Steph? Levesque :shifty:?

What would we possibly see from each of those creative "geniuses"? A change in style perhaps?

I can do that. Sometimes i do quick overviews. Other times i write out longer more in depth storylines. Depends on my mood. Sometimes i like to think about the best option before i write them too. Sometimes with the efed i'll take a few days kicking around ideas. Today i kinda don't feel like writing much, hence the shorter answers.

Vince has to eventually stop running the company. The guy isn't going to live to 212, so, who would take over? Shane O'Mac? Steph? Levesque ?

I'd probably just divide up their responsibilites. If i had to have one owner, i'd pick shane, but I'd have Steph play a important role with the non-wrestling stuff. I'd have Shane and HHH work together and control the wrestling aspect of it. So I'd just say Shane. I'd probably also give HHH the ball, over steph. Even though Vince likes her, I think she could be like Russo, and have good ideas, but you need someone to control her.

What would we possibly see from each of those creative "geniuses"? A change in style perhaps?

Shane - You would probably have a new school product. More focus on the matches themselves, and giving the what the want. Continue to be more interactive.

Steph - More of a entertainment product similar to todays. You have your common looking generic 230 pound built guys. Throw in some crazy gimmicks.

HHH - I think HHH would be similar to todays, but with more old school flavor mixed in. Less gimmicks, more tough guys around like regal/finlay. Love for veterns, and the rookies need to pay their dues attitude.

do you remember this angle?

I remember that happening...not sure what angle your refering to. I think i need a memory refresher.

well that was the start of the y2J/Kane feud thats started in either october/November 2000 and it ended in a last man standing match at Armageddon 2000....

Y2J spills coffee on kane, Kane got jealous of Y2J good looks in process of the feud... They had a match at rebellion/s.series/armageddon.. I am unsure if these 2 fought on WWE tv programs at the time...

How would you book Mr Kennedy once he got back from injury? Would you give him a good push since he was over or would you leave him since he gets injured so much?

What do you think of the outcome at No Mercy where HHH retained in such a bad way, and what do you think HHH/Hardy will be doing now?

What are your thoughts on the Batista/JBL thing that happened at No Mercy how Batista won so quickly and JBL had that long promo?

Montana, did you ever happen to see that self-made promo by Domino, just before he was released? "Global Dominotion"?

Did WWE jump the gun here by releasing him, and claiming "it wasn't family friendly enough?" ?

I didn't think the fued lasted that'd that long.

How would you book Mr Kennedy once he got back from injury? Would you give him a good push since he was over or would you leave him since he gets injured so much?

I'd book him conservative. I wouldn't give him any major angles right off the bat, plus he's coming around WM time. Probably a surprise entry at the rumble. Have him eliminate Kendrick from the rumble. Kennedy would then get a nice push in the rumble for a while, get knocked out by Orton or something like that. Then have Kennedy fued with Kendrick for a little bit, as a return fued. Then I'd put Kennedy back in the MITB match and say he's going to cash it in at 25 if he wins, (again) Then go from there. See how the fans react to Kennedy, see if Kennedy has cleaned himself up.

What do you think of the outcome at No Mercy where HHH retained in such a bad way, and what do you think HHH/Hardy will be doing now?

I disagree 100% I thought it was perfect actually. (or close to it) They told a story with that match. The roll up can be a very good way to win matches. Especially in a face vs face match. Matt Hardy vs Mark Henry would have been another good time to use it. What i liked best about HHH/Hardy was that you KNEW HHH was winning. However when i was watching the match with HHH playing the heel, and hardy playing the face, throughout the match, the more you saw, the more you thought Hardy had a small chance. So Hardy hit HHH with the kitchen sink and the place was going wild after the swanton. But Jeff Hardy foolishly covered him. Making one small/big mistake. Now they have a storyline. How Jeff Hardy can't seem to pull it all together. I liked it.

WHat i didn't like was the ending to Jericho vs HBK. I went on rank a couple post back. Jericho just punches HBK off the top of the ladder. That was the lamest finish to me. Especially considering this was such a great fued. I hope this isn't the last time HBK/Jericho wrestle.

What are your thoughts on the Batista/JBL thing that happened at No Mercy how Batista won so quickly and JBL had that long promo?

I actually took a shower during the match so i missed it. In fact i didnt watch much of their rematch on raw. But i saw the promo. It was OK i thought, nice retirement swerve. Too bad he probably should.

Which brings me to the thought that the return of JBL and Big Show has hurt the wwe. What good has these guys done? Hog PPV matches from people that deserve it? I don't have a problem so much with them being on the roster, i just don't like how they are used. I don't think JBL should be wrestling every week. I'd probably have him bully the younger guys around, then a rare big matchup.

Did WWE jump the gun here by releasing him, and claiming "it wasn't family friendly enough?" ?

No, you gotta figure the wwe can most likely sign him back at any time. I wouldn't have released him, but i can see why they did. I actually like the gimmick, however the video isn't family friendly. Take out the chick, the gun shots, and music, and what do you got? Plus Tiny Tim is under a wwe contract. So Domino did a great job of making the video, the Global Dominotion thing needs a little tweaking or work.

But i do like the idea. In fact i think tag team would be best for him at the moment. The SD midcard is kinda full at the moment.
