there was already a medical limit on abortions and no one actually got abortions later than that outside medical reasons. stop pushing the 15 week shit as some sort of compromise. it was already how it was and its just more excuse making. things were literally perfectly fine the way they were before the war on women the GOP trigger. stop painting like democrats are being unreasonable on the abortion issue when they the status quo was already perfectly reasonable

The Federal Government also has the legal right to set limits on the type of arms a citizen is allowed to carry, whether the states like it or not. This Federal Government, and the power therein, is the deciding factor of the law of the land, and even the Supreme Court is not the be-all-end-all. The President of the United States and US Congress have the full ability to completely ignore the decisions that the Supreme Court puts forth. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe vs. Wade, it is possible that a majority Democratic Congress and Democratic President can make a federal Amendment guaranteeing abortion as a right guaranteed by the 9th Amendment of the United States of America.

The question is that these checks and balances can be abused, whether for good or bad.

This is also in reference to Andrew Jackson's whole presidency and his vainglorious genocide and forced removal of Native Americans just because those cotton-planting racist jackasses wanted the lands in Alabama.
